My body arches and I can feel my orgasm coming. Dean must sense it too as he pulls away keeping me from going over the edge into a euphoric bliss. Eyes locking with mine, he grins and undoes his belt then his pants and slides them down his waist. Soon as he removes them, he’s back to touching my body and kissing my inner thighs. He then swipes his tongue through my slit once more causing me to cry out in frustration of wanting him to keep going.

Kissing his way up my body, he lines himself up and thrusts his shaft within my walls. Dean groans and my entire being reacts to his movements. I focus on his features, loving the way he seems to clench his jaw together as if he were trying to keep control of himself.

“I need more,” I whimper, wanting to feel him taking me, to ravage my body.

“I know what you need, mo chuisle,” he growls and continues his movements. “But you’re gonna take what I give you when I give it.”

Dean reaches down between our bodies and flicks his fingers across my clit. Erupting under him, I come apart. He proceeds to pick up speed with each thrust sending me soaring into the abyss of my orgasm. Groaning, Dean joins me, his dick twitching deep inside me as his cum fills me with everything he has.

It takes me a minute to regain my breath but when I do, I find myself released from my restraints and pulled into my husband’s arms. I snuggle further into his embrace loving the warmth I get from his body.

“You are fuckin’ beautiful, Bridget,” he rasps.

“I could say the same about you,” I whisper, trailing my fingers along his chest.

“Hmm, I’d like to think I were more than beautiful.” Dean chuckles and kisses the top of my head.

I lift my head and look up at him to find his eyes alight with pure happiness.

“That you are but I’m not going to boost your ego more than it already is,” I giggle.

“Minx.” His fingers at my waist start tickling me and I wiggle trying to get away.

“Oh my God, stop,” I say, unable to stop my laughter as Dean continues to tickle me.

“Not a chance, sweetness, love hearing your laugh,” he snorts and pulls me into his arms. “I intend to hear that sound every day, mo chuisle.”

My heart skips a beat at his words and I give him a smile. I love that he says this. I just hope and pray that he’ll be able to keep his word. With Kean still out there somewhere a large part of me fears he’ll come for me. He didn’t see the hatred burning in the man’s gaze as I did when I shot him.

I’ll fear for not only my life but Dean’s and the rest of my family’s until Kean’s taken out. I’ve had time to come to terms with this part of our world. I might not have wanted to be a part of it, yet here I am. I’m the daughter of the Boss and now the wife of a man who’s in charge of all of the East Coast.

Taking my place in this life is going to take some time getting used to but seeing the adoration in Dean’s eyes gives me a reason to do so. How I could have wanted to run from him is baffling. I’m grateful he stopped me from leaving. Who knows what could have happened to me. If Kean gets his hands on me all bets are off and I’m dead, I know it.

But I trust Dean to keep me safe. I’m willing to trust him because I can feel it now. What we share is meant to be and not us lusting for each other.

  Chapter 17

  Dean

“You have anything?” I ask, holding the phone to my ear. My eyes shift to the door to see my wife coming into my office. Bridget gives me a smile and steps over to her desk off to the side of mine and takes her seat. A blush tinting her cheeks.

I frown at her for not coming over to me first. For the past two months every time she’s stepped through the door Bridget’s come in and kissed me. Didn’t matter if I had someone in here or if I were on the phone. What the hell is up with that shit?

“No, I’m sorry but it’s as if the man has completely vanished into thin air,” Marc mutters on the other end of the line. Marc is one of my best men for tracking down men and information. He’s also my cousin on my mother’s side.

“Shit,” I mutter, annoyed we haven’t been able to find Kean. I’d sent Marc out to find the motherfucker after a week of being home. I hadn’t told Bridget of my suspicions, but I suspect Kean is here in the States and behind some things that have shown up at the house for her. For instance, a couple of days after being home and we’d gotten shit straight between the two of us, a box filled with wilted roses showed up on the doorstep at our home. If I didn’t have one of my men watching the house, my wife would have seen them and freaked. Especially since it had a note with them stating she was being watched and to watch her back. It was typed, so we couldn’t prove it was Kean but there couldn’t be anyone else.

More dead flowers showed up and then a week ago it changed to dead animals. The fuckin’ sick piece of shit is twisted and needs a bullet between the eyes or his throat slashed.

“I’m gonna keep looking, boss man, but I would suggest we look in other directions as well. I’ve spent the last two months looking in every direction for this fucker and he’s not turning up,” Marc advises.

I take in what Marc is saying and lean back in my seat, contemplating what my next move should be. I refuse to send my wife back to Ireland to be under her father’s protection. I’m a selfish bastard and want my woman with me. Besides, if she’s there and not with me, Tomás will see it as a weakness. I have no problem admitting she means the world to me but I won’t have her seen as my weakness. She’s far from it.

Since she’s taken over at Sinner’s Cove, things have changed and I gotta admit I like it. For the most part all the women like it as well. Yeah, I took care of my employees but fuck they’re loving the changes Bridget has put into place for them.

For instance, they now have a man on the door of each cubical for when they’re giving lap dances. The charges for these dances have gone up thirty dollars and the women get the majority of it while the rest of it goes to the business to put it into the budget for their costumes and whatnot. Bridget didn’t think it was fair they had to purchase their own costumes to wear on stage. I personally didn’t care, but it seems the numbers have spiked in the last month since she’s had this initiated. So, I can’t complain.

“Yeah, go ahead and see what you can do. I want answers,” I say, my gaze roaming over my wife who’s sitting at her desk looking at something as she ignores me.

  I don’t fuckin’ like this.

“You got it, boss man. I’ll get Beau and Chance in on it and have them help out, if that’s alright,” Marc says though he waits for my confirmation.

“That works. Call with updates when you have them,” I order and hang up.

I toss my cellphone onto the desk and focus solely on the woman who consumes my very being, inside and out. There’s something to be said about Bridget, she’s far more than any words can describe of her.

“Why are you staring at me?” she asks without lifting her head.

“I’m curious as to why you didn’t do your normal routine and kiss me when you came into the room,” I state flatly. Besides the sick shit my men and I keep finding, I don’t hold back my thoughts from Bridget. She’s my other half and I refuse to treat her as anything less. She deserves the best and not to be treated like a dog.

I’ve seen some men treat women like they’re nothing but scum they keep around to fuck when they need to find a release. Or they keep them as a trophy and fuck around on them.

That’s not who I am. I’m not the type of man who can sit there and do that to a woman. I know what my intentions had been before I laid eyes on Bridget. I’d planned the same thing. But after seeing her for the first time those thoughts changed, and I knew I could never do it. My father is the same way. He and my mother might not see eye to eye, and he can be harsh sometimes, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her and vice versa. They just argue more than a normal couple. Probably because my mother can debate anything and everything.

Bridget shrugs without looking up from what she’s doing. Standing, I roun
d my desk and make my way to hers. I lean against her desk and slide her chair back enough for her to have to look up at me.

“What are you up to, mo chuisle?” I ask the little minx.

“Nothing. I simply wanted to get some work done so I could maybe go spend time with Kit-Kat this evening instead of in here,” she murmurs.

Quirking a brow, I wonder where this is coming from. She’s always tried to stay in here when the strippers were doing their thing on stage. Normally she gets things done with them before we open or become busy then stays in here the rest of the time she’s here with me.

“There a reason you want to go out there?” I ask.

I don’t miss the blush crossing her cheeks as she shrugs.

Fuck me. My wife is up to something.

“Then you don’t mind me joining you,” I state, my hands sliding into my pockets to keep me from reaching for my woman and using her body to get my answers. I’ll play her game for right now, see what she’s up to.

“You can’t. You have a meeting with the De Lucas and Brisbanes,” she reminds me.

“True, I do, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have this meeting out there,” I mutter.

Bridget licks her lips and I notice her eyes fill with lust. Shit, she wants me out there, but for what.

“Fine, you do that, I’ll be with Kit-Kat in the back.” She shrugs nonchalantly.

“Yeah, I think I’ll do that.” I grin deciding to find out from Kit-Kat what the fuck’s going on. Leaning forward, I pull my hands from my pockets and brace them on the arms of her chair. “You wouldn’t be trying to cause any trouble, would you?” I ask, my nose touching hers.

“Um, no.” Her breathing becomes heavy.

“We’ll see, sweetness. If you do something you’re not supposed to I’m not gonna be happy and you’ll end up facing the consequences,” I inform her.

“I’m not doing anything except learning from Kit-Kat. This way she’ll be able to have her time off for vacation,” she states. I know Kit-Kat is planning a vacation but I figured I’d have someone else take over for her while she’s gone, not my wife.

We’ll see about that. Pressing my lips against hers, I kiss her in a way it’ll leave her wanting more. When she moans into my mouth, I pull away. “Next time don’t forget to kiss me when you enter the office.”

Grinning, I step away from her and head to my desk. Instead of sitting down, I grab my phone and leave the office. I still have to meet with Mitch and Kenyon before the De Lucas and Brisbanes get here. And while I’m in there I’m gonna be texting Kit-Kat informing her I’m on to her.

  Chapter 18

  Bridget

I knew this wasn’t a good idea. I’m not able to keep stuff to myself. I don’t have a poker face and now he’s going to know before I even get to pull it off.

For the past couple of weeks Kit-Kat has been helping me plan something for Dean. I’d noticed he’d been stressed more recently, and I wanted to do something to help him release it. Kit-Kat explained to me the way to get him to release the stress is through sex. But not just any type of sex. When I told her I didn’t understand, she’d smiled and enlightened me on a few things about not only my husband but her along with Mitch and a few others.

I’d blushed and been unable to keep my eyes from growing wide. I also couldn’t help the fact I love the idea of him doing things to me as she explained. I wanted it. It’s why we’ve closed the club besides the handful of people who will be here. I’ve found a couple of the strippers will actually speak to me without glaring and seeming to want to scratch my eyes out.

My body is already humming with anticipation and then Dean goes and kisses me like he did. God knows I don’t know if I can do this. I’m nervous as hell and I want to hide in here for the rest of the night instead.

No, I need to do this, I want to do this. Dean needs to be able to release stress and I’d hate for him to feel he can’t do that with me. I watch through hooded eyes as my husband leaves the office and I let out a shuddered breath when the door closes.

  Time to get to it.

Tonight, the girls are doing something different. I’d gotten the idea from a book and thought it would be a good idea to try. The women working tonight are all wearing the same costume and have a mask covering their faces.

This will help set the scene for when I get up there for Dean. Lucky for me, I’m a quick learner and I found out I’m a natural when it comes to pole dancing. Jordan had come by a few days while Dean had been out handling business and taught me everything she knew from when she used to dance on stage. I giggled as she told me she’d had Badger, her ol’ man and husband, install one in their room.

Now I’m about to put those moves I’ve learned into action.

I stand from behind my desk and leave the office, making sure to lock it behind me. This is one of Dean’s rules unless one of us is in there it’s to stay locked at all times.

I make quick work of getting backstage and to where I’m going to get ready. Kit-Kat ordered me a costume to match the others but to also stand out somewhat along with a wig.

Entering the room, Kit-Kat turns to me. “About time you came back. Everything set?” she asks.

“You should know he’s suspicious,” I mutter with a roll of my eyes. Kit-Kat and I have gotten to be great friends since I met her. At first I thought she’d slept with my husband and that she and I wouldn’t get to where we are now. Come to find out, the woman is a lesbian and would prefer to have sex with me rather than Dean. I’d been surprised by this but this is when she went on to tell me that though they didn’t have sex together they fucked women together. At this point, she explained the whole shebang to me about Dean and sex.

“Oh I know, he’s already texted me saying he’s on to me,” Kit-Kat giggles with a wave of her hand.

I pull my bottom lip in and worry it. “Do you think I need to not do this?”

“I think you need to do this. He needs this and I’m sure you do too. From what I can gather with what you’ve shared with me, Dean’s keeping part of himself back. Bridget, you’re doing the right thing. You’ll see,” Kit-Kat states.

“Okay, then I guess I better get ready.” I nod and grab the supplies Jordan bought for me.

“Yep, I’m going to make sure the DJ has the music we’ve picked out for your numbers,” she mutters. Turning on her heels, she leaves the room. How the woman could wear six inch heels and not complain about her feet hurting is crazy to me.

Shaking my head, I start getting ready by putting my makeup on, making my eyes have a smokey look to them. I put on a bright red seductive color of lipstick and then flip my hair up into a bun at the back of my head. I pick up the wig and put it in place like some of the strippers taught me.

Looking in the mirror, I adjust the wig and take in my features. I’m surprised at what a wig and makeup could do to an appearance. I don’t look anything like I normally do. I turn away from the mirror and strip out of my clothes. I put on the see-through lace red corset top with a black pattern sewn into it. I slide into the matching cheekies and grab the robe to pull on for the time being. I slide on a pair of thigh-high stockings and then put my feet in the knee-high boots I’d bought with Dean in mind.

Tonight, the girls knew they weren’t to go completely naked, I didn’t want Dean seeing them topless. They didn’t mind and I’m thankful for this. I’ve earned the respect and trust of these women because I’ve taken care of them since my husband put me in charge.

“You ready?” Kit-Kat asks, stepping into the room, her eyes roaming over me in approval. “If you weren’t the boss’ wife, I’d so be on top of you right now. He’s a lucky man.”

I smile at this and give a twirl.

  “I’m ready,” I murmur.

Nodding, she shows me the way though I already know it. “He’s sitting front and center with the men he’s meeting. There’re other men around that came with both, along with a few of Dean’s. Don’t let them stop you from doing what you
re doing. Remember, it’s for Dean.”

I nod in agreement. My heart pounding within my chest. I can do this.

The music starts as each of the girls takes their positions in the room. Two on secondary stages and the other two in-between stages. All with masks on to cover their faces with wigs in place to conceal who they are.

Kit-Kat reaches out and puts the mask in place for me so I don’t mess up anything.

“Have fun,” Kit-Kat says with a smile and taps my ass in a push for the stage. My song ‘Without Me’ by Halsey is just getting started and it’s time for me to get out there and seduce my husband to be who he needs to be with me.

  Chapter 19

  Dean

Sitting out in the main room, I figured out something more is at play. The room isn’t jam packed as it normally would be, even on a Wednesday night. Yet tonight, it’s bare except for the men who have joined me today for our meeting.

Finn Brisbane and Leo De Luca, along with their men scattered around the room. I glance over to Mitch to find him smirking. Evidently, whatever’s going on, he’s in on.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen your club this empty, O’Connell,” Leo De Luca states.

“This is because it normally isn’t,” I mutter and brace my elbows on the table between us. “What can I do for you?” I ask.

“I need another shipment added into the order I already have,” Finn Brisbane declares.

Lifting a brow, I smirk. Finn isn’t one to change orders or anything else once he’s placed an order. I’ve been working with him for a couple of months now since his father passed and he’s taken over the family business.

“Why the change?” I ask, having heard the rumors filtering through the air. Most of it I can confirm as he and I, though we do business together, we’re friends of the sort. From what I can gather with the rumors floating around, if he doesn’t do the same as I’ve had to do myself, he’ll forfeit his right to his place and his younger brother, Ashton, takes the seat.
