Why Me?
You make me feel unwanted,
I really wonder why,
What have I done.
You punch me,
you hurt me,
you push me aside,
I feel so alone,
I really wonder why.
At break and lunch time, I sit alone,
you come and surround me,
You kick me, you hurt ne
What have I done,
I really wonder why.
How long will this last,
Every minute of every day,
I pray that you will just go away.
As I go home to rest,
Things are spinning around in my head,
Where do I start to tell them to stop,
They are hurting my feelings,
It never stops!
I breakdown and tell my mum the reasons why,
She holds me and tells me
Not to cry
But all I do is hope and pray.
She tells the police, what’s going on.
The next day comes,
Today is the day it’s all going to change.
They get called into the office not a care
in the world,
I sit there shaking, its one big blur.
They walk out the office with their,
Heads hanging low,
Ashamed and embarrassed with
Nowhere to go.
They apologise to me and
Say how disappointed
In themselves they are.
Today I feel happy and feel so great,
I defeated the bullies I made no mistakes.

Infected
Bullying is like a disease
Spreading from one person to the next
Via social media, schools
And hurtful texts
There is no antidote
That can block it all out
And there is no saying
When it will come about
Almost everyone has been infected
By the irrational thing we call abuse
It’s all around you
There is no button for snooze
No such thing as ‘I don’t care’
No such thing as sleep
Do they even realise
It hits them so deep
Some alone
Some antisocial
Some suicidal
Some emotional
All wanting it to stop soon
Stop the bullies invading the system
Stop the bullies insulting our friends
Stop the bullies in our community
Help the victims from their fate.

Bravery
It’s you and me against the world,
Through better or through worse.
We will get through this,
But first, there is a curse.
You see, people say it’s a sin,
To love your own kind.
They will hate and judge,
The ones trapped inside.
Our families would turn on us,
Our friends will be full of disgust.
But we will fight for our rights,
I’d rather die if I must.
Shut in a closet,
Locked up tight.
They took away our rights,
And we’re kept out of sight.
Bravery. It is what it is,
We can’t choose this lifestyle,
Whether we didn’t want it or we did.
We will get through this,
Because you make me strong,
We’ll go down in history,
As the ones who waited too long

Raincloud
Why do you hate me?
What have I done?
You’re killing me slowly…
Do you find it fun?
I go to my room,
And find a text,
I read it, tears swelling,
I wonder what’s next.
I run to my desk,
And look all around,
Until an old razor is what I have found,
I ready my arm,
Prepared for the pain,
Should I really do this,
Am I going insane
I fall to the floor,
And scream out loud,
‘Can somebody help me
Life’s just a raincloud?’
My mum rushes in,
And she stares at my face,
‘I’m a failure!’ I cry. ‘I’m just a disgrace!’
Two weeks have passed now,
It’s my time to tell,
My bullying story – how it ended well,
So never give up,
And smile through the pain,
You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain.

Our stories define us
Our stories define us
And no matter how hard,
One day this will be,
Just another part.
There’s always going to be bullies
But there’s only one you.
So never let them push you down,
No matter what
You do.
Don’t let them get to you
Or they’ll push you too far,
Remember every dark sky
Is punctured with stars.
The world is full of hope,
If you know where to look,
And not just in fairy tales,
Legends and books
People know what you’re going
Through,
People will understand
And there’ll always be someone
To comfort you
Someone to hold your
Hand.

You don’t like the way
You don’t like the way my hair falls,
You don’t like the way I smile,
You don’t like that I’m intelligent,
Or that I could run a mile.
You don’t like the way I walk,
You don’t like the way I sing.
You don’t like the way I talk,
Or that I’m better at that thing.
It doesn’t matter what you say,
Cause you see, I’m still free!
To sing and leap and dance and prance,
When I’m happiest being me!

Bad Day
You hope it will end
They were never your friends
You cry and cut to numb the pain
It happens every single day.
Your parents don’t know
It would break their hearts
And they would question
Why did you ever start?
School is a struggle every day
Because of all the things they say.
They hit you, they push you, they call you
a freak.
Don’t worry you say, this is just a bad
Streak.
The
bruises will soon fade
The scars will soon heal
Your parents won’t find out
It’s no big deal.
It will stop soon
They’ll get what they deserve
They just like annoying you
And getting on your last nerve
So don’t be bothered by what
they say.
Please don’t worry,
It’s just a bad day

Why do you see through me
Why do you see through me
Is it really that easy
Through all my deepest desire
My ambitions begin to spire
Their slurs are cruel and spiteful
I thought school years were delightful
If we swapped roles for the day
You wouldn’t enjoy it lets say
Why must you persist with what you do
It leaves me feeling down and blue
But what you don’t realise is what you can’t see
These threats and insults no longer affect me
You look like an attention seeking child
A boy who can’t survive in the wild
You need your pack of wolves walking lurking beside you
So who’s tougher the bully or the victim
The victim standing tall through all the pain they inflict upon him
Because deep down I know you do this because you’re afraid and I’m sure you know it too
What is the point with this persistence
For it merely brings pity upon a bully’s existence

Scars
Roll up your sleeves,
Show them your scars,
Reveal your screams,
Show them your screams,
Tell them all,
What they did to you,
The pain they caused,
They can’t undo,
As you sat and cried,
Alone in your room,
Together they tried,
To fully break you,
But they did not know,
The depths of your despair,
They had no clue,
That they were dragging you there,
Life was hard,
And things were tough,
Every word they said,
Was a deeper cut,
Then one day you snapped,
Hit the lowest of the low,
It would have been the end,
If it weren’t for the glow,
The small shimmering light,
Of a thing called hope,
Like a small voice saying,
‘Things could get better you know?’
This is not the end,
So pick yourself up,
And show them all,
That it was just one little cut,
And look at you now,
Ten year on,
You’ve got an amazing job,
And a beautiful son,
They tried and failed,
To destroy you,
But you beat them,
And your demons too.
So roll up your sleeves,
Be proud of your scars,
There will be no more screams,
Don’t be scared of your past,
Tell them all,
What they did to you,
The pain they caused,
That made you, you!

Anti-Bullying
We feel all alone, small and weak
Scared to go out even to speak
The things they say, the things they do,
Would you like it, if it were you?
These are fools we don’t understand
So let’s get together and fight our stand
Unite today and show we’re strong
For we’re the innocent, we’ve done no wrong.

Bitter Victory
Bullying, you know the word,
It makes me angry,
It makes me sad,
Makes me cry and makes me mad.
They call me names,
They do bad things,
It’s just not fair,
Does anyone care?
Walking down the street,
I see you over there,
You come over to me,
And pull my hair.
I go home in tears,
And hide in my room,
I have no escape,
I cut up my arms,
To release all the hate.
Oh no, I’ve gone too far,
I hear sirens, people talking,
It’s too late, the lights go out,
At least I’m at peace now.
The bullies have won
Well done!
