Renegade (Southern Rebels MC Book 4) Page 16

by Kristin Coley

“That’s great,” I told Noah and glanced down at Doc. If there was anyone I trusted to look over the accident report and the coroner’s report it was her. “I’ll be back home this afternoon. Can you bring them to the house? I have someone to look over them.”

“I can,” he paused and I could hear a voice in the background, growing fainter as he moved away, “I heard you found Kara.”

“I did, with some help,” I confirmed. “I’m bringing her back.”

  “Rob?”

“Still at large, but I have a feeling we haven’t seen the last of him.”

  “I’ll keep a look out.”

“I’ll have the club do the same.”

“Yeah,” Noah muttered, the sound discontent.

“We couldn’t do this without you,” I reminded him. “The entire club respects you.”

“I know, but I’ll never be a part of it,” he stated, before clearing his throat. “I’ll see you this afternoon.” The phone hung up before I could say anything more and when I looked down, Doc peered up at me.

  “Everything okay?”

“Yeah, better than okay,” I murmured, leaning down to kiss her. “I’m glad you’re here.”

“I’m glad you’re here,” she retorted, leaning up and I rotated my arm with a groan. “I can’t believe you faced my mother and brother.”

“Way to send me here without any warning,” I responded, shaking my arm out. “My arm’s asleep.”

“Shake your head not your arm,” she advised and when I did the pins and needles sensation disappeared.

  “That worked.”

“I know.” She glanced down at her lap. “You’re going home today.”

“We are going home today,” I corrected and she looked up at me hopefully. “It’s only fair you meet my family.”

“You want me to meet them?”

“Hell, yes. And they can’t wait to meet you.”

  “Really? They know about me?”

“I might have mentioned you. And now Sloan, that’s Creed’s old lady, wants to talk to you.”

  “Talk to me? Sounds interesting.”

  “I’m sure it will be.”

“Clutch?” A sleepy voice came from the bed and I turned. “Who is she?”

“Kara, I’d like you to meet Doc or Diane if you prefer. She’s the woman who helped me find you.” Kara kneeled on the bed, Clutch Bunny in her arms, and stared at Doc.

“I’m really glad to meet you,” Doc said. “I was worried.”

Kara nodded solemnly. “Clutch was worried about you too.”

Doc glanced at me, then lowered her eyes. “Clutch takes good care of me and now you.”

“He does.” Kara crawled closer, coming nose to nose with Doc. “Is your mommy the wizard?”

Doc blinked, then crossed her eyes at Kara, who laughed. “She can be,” Doc said honestly. “But I like to think of her as a fairy godmother.”

Kara smiled brilliantly, clapping her hands together. “Yes.” She hopped out of the bed and turned to me, “Can we go home now?”

  “We can.”

Kara turned to Doc. “Are you coming with us?”

“Yes,” she answered, looking relieved when Kara smiled. “You don’t mind?”

Kara shook her head. “You make Clutch happy.”

“Then we should go,” Doc replied, standing up. “After I take a shower and change my clothes.” She steered Kara to the door. “You should go downstairs and see what’s for breakfast. I bet if you ask nicely you can have Princess Waffles.”

“Yay!” Kara cheered, running out of the room.

“Nice,” I murmured, looping my arms around Doc’s waist. “I knew there was a reason I kept you around.” She laughed throatily, glancing up at me over her shoulder.

“You made a promise and I fully intend to hold you to it.”

My hands slipped under her shirt, stroking the soft skin of her belly. “Lead the way, Doc.”

She guided me down the hall, and then a few more, stopping along the way so I could kiss her neck and shoulders. I managed to unhook her bra and had her breasts in my hand as we came to a door. “Is this it?” I asked, rolling her nipples between my fingers and she nodded, opening the door. We stumbled in, I unsnapped her jeans as walked across the room and she wiggled out of them as I lifted her shirt over her head, her bra falling to the floor.

My dick swelled as I took in the sight of her, the bulge obvious as she returned the favor. “You are gorgeous,” I told her as she fell back on the bed.

“So are you,” she replied as I unsnapped my own jeans, yanking them down with my boxers, my cock springing to full attention. “It’s good to see you again, Big Clutch.”

I laughed as she greeted my dick, and leaned forward to give it a handshake. “He’s mighty glad to see you again too,” I groaned as she give an experimental tug. “Take it easy,” I begged. “I want to last a little longer this time.”

I kneeled next to the bed and dragged her to the edge, lining up her pussy with my mouth. I ran my tongue right over her crease and felt her thighs tremble under my hands. I spread her legs further apart, as I learned every crease and groove, her cries inspiring me as I sucked on her clit, lightly and then harder, her juices flooding my mouth as I licked them up. Finally, her legs collapsed onto my shoulders and she pleaded for me to stop.

I rose up over her, her eyes dilated and her nipples jutting up, begging for attention. I sucked one and then the other, alternating as my dick prodded her entrance.

“Clutch,” she moaned, reaching for me and I leaned in, my cock penetrating her soaked flesh, the swollen folds enveloping me. Inch by inch I pushed in, her tight channel squeezing me until I thought I would pop. Finally, I was seated as deep as I could go and then started to pull out as slow as before, inch by inch. “Faster,” she moaned, rocking her hips and breaking the last of my control. I slammed into her, and she scooted across the bed at the force. I braced myself over her, setting a rhythm that fell somewhere between punishment and pleasure, but she met me thrust for thrust, her hips cradling mine as I pumped harder, release barreling toward me, and then she cried out, my name escaping her in a breathless scream and pleasure blinded me as my cum filled her.

I rolled as I collapsed on the bed so I didn’t crush her and she wound up laying across me, my dick still inside her as sweat cooled on our bodies. My hand rested on her ass and I gave it a light squeeze. “Did I make it up to you?”

She rubbed her nose against my chest, her mouth hot on my skin. “Mmhmm.”

“Good,” I groaned, my shoulder aching at the punishment I put it through, but my dick was still twitching happily.

“I saw heaven,” Doc purred, her hand sliding down between us. “Multiple times.” Her fingers brushed my cock and damn if the thing didn’t start to swell. “I need a shower. You could join me.”

“Sounds like a hell of an invite,” I muttered, ignoring my shoulder as I sat up, Doc’s legs wrapped around my hips, her pussy full of my cock. I stood up, causing her to bounce, and both of us groaned at the sensation. Her nipples pressed into my chest, poking me, and I slid my finger down the crease of her ass.

“Oh God,” she moaned, her head falling back and my dick swelled even more. She wiggled, those inner muscles clenching around me and I wasn’t sure we’d make it to the shower. I walked to a door, and thankfully it was the bathroom, but I didn’t make it any further than the counter before I pulled out slightly and then thrust. She sat on the edge of the counter as I made tiny strokes, barely pulling out before I was pushing back in, her pussy so tight I couldn’t go any further.

I pressed one finger into her butthole and rocked my hips, watching her face as the climax swept over her instantly and then kept going, the pleasure not stopping as I applied dual pressure. Her body spasmed around mine, milking me until my release found me. My hand slipped out of her ass as I spurted thick hot ropes of cum into her.

She stared at me in a daze, her arms barely holding her u
p. “I think I should shower alone,” she murmured, our bodies forming a V. “If I see heaven again, I might not come back.”

I grinned tiredly, my body satisfied and my soul content. “I love you, Doc.” Her eyes rounded in surprise at my admission. “You don’t have to say it back,” I hurried to add. “It’s just in my family, when you know, you know.”

  “And when did you know?”

“When you hit that guy in the head with a fire extinguisher.”

She smiled, a little smugly in my opinion. “I knew when you showed up at my door, bleeding to death.”

  “Diane.”

  “Chance.”

I shook my head. “Nope. Too formal.” I brushed my hand over her cheek. “Doc.”

  “Clutch.”

“Will you be my old lady?”

“Yes, if you’ll be my muscle.”

A grin lifted the corner of my mouth. “Always.”

  ***

“I don’t really think you all had to come,” Doc complained for the hundredth time. I laid my arm across the seat, curling a strand of her hair around my finger. Kara sat behind us, next to Michael. Christian and Mrs. Richard sat in the front. Apparently, the butler was also the chauffeur.

“We want to meet Clutch’s family. Besides, he’s already said he may have issues with the club reinstating him into his position. We can smooth that over.”

“How?” Doc asked in exasperation. “Mother, we don’t have any say in the inner workings of a motorcycle club.”

“It’s a club, is it not?”

“Yeah,” I agreed, never really having thought about it.

  “With bylaws and rules?”

“Yes,” I agreed, pretty sure we did, even though Creed usually dealt with it. “Creed will know.”

  “And he’s your brother?”

  “Yes, and the club’s VP.”

  “Excellent.”

Doc looked at me and I shrugged. “Might as well rip the band aid off.” She closed her eyes with sigh. “Where’s Taylor? I haven’t got a chance to meet him.”

“He’ll met us there,” she answered glumly. “Uncle Tom too.”

I nodded, wondering how my new entourage was going to go over with the family. “I’d like to ask you to do something for me.”

Doc nodded, her head resting on my shoulder, the good one. She’d already stitched me up again, this time without any painkiller, as a lesson to me, she’d stated. A lesson I’d learned, I’d decided. “What do you need?”

“I was hoping you could look over an old police report and coroner’s report for me. Make sure it all adds up.” She gazed up at me, questions in her eyes, but we’d reached the house and Christian was turning into the drive. The white house with the bright blue shutters looked smaller than I remembered, but it might just have been because of the sheer number of people coming out of the house.

“Are all of those your family?” Doc asked as Kara shrieked in excitement when she saw Hank and Mary.

“Yeah,” I said, swallowing as my eyes started to burn. “They are.”

“I can’t wait to meet them.”

We piled out of the car, Kara running straight to Hank as he fell to his knees. She hugged him and Mary, her Clutch bunny in her hand. “I would do it all again for this single moment,” I mumbled, blinking hard.

Jailbait didn’t bother to hide her tears and I noticed Tori was looking hard at the sky. Little Colt was waiting impatiently to say hi to Kara as Cord, Creed, and Crew came over to me.

“Damn it, you were supposed to call,” Cord growled, dragging me into a hug, Creed and Crew piling after him until I was engulfed. “Don’t fucking do that again.”

“Yeah,” I muttered, finally shoving them off me. “Get off. Let me introduce you.”

“Who is this?” Creed studied Doc with narrowed eyes.

“My old lady,” I answered, silencing them. “Doc, my brothers. Brothers, Doc.”

“Nice to meet you…Doc,” Crew was the first to gain his voice, maybe not as shocked as the other two. He held out his hand and Doc took it with a smile. “Maybe you can keep him in line.”

She nodded. “I can definitely keep him out of jail.”

“You mean we can keep him out of jail,” Michael interjected, stepping forward. “Michael Richard.”

“Christine Richard,” Doc’s mom introduced then waved to Christian. “And our butler, Christian.”

“Butler,” Cord mouthed, staring at me and I shrugged.

  “They’re lawyers.”

“I’m a judge,” her mother corrected and Creed’s eyebrows lifted. “Which one of you is Creed?” He raised his hand hesitantly. “Wonderful. Would you happen to have a copy of your club’s bylaws lying around.”

“Where’s the courthouse?” Michael asked and Cord opened his mouth, no doubt about to give him terrible directions.

“I’ll take him over,” Tori announced walking over as she eyed him. “Nice suit.”

“Thank you,” Michael said, blushing slightly. “After you, madam.” He opened the door of the black SUV we’d arrived in and Tori smiled while Cord frowned, slamming the door before Michael could get in.

“She’s taken,” he growled and Michael smiled.

  “I didn’t see a ring.”

“You’re about to see my fist,” Cord warned and Michael nodded. “Keep your hands to yourself and don’t think about wooing my old lady.”

“Absolutely, Lt. Captain Hayes,” Michael replied, saluting him to Cord’s consternation. “You have a wonderful day now.”

“How did he know my rank?” Cord asked, turning to me as the SUV backed out.

I shrugged, shaking my head. “I don’t know. I don’t want to know. I’m just going to be grateful they’re on our side.”

“Are they on our side?” Crew asked and I nodded.

“They are,” I said firmly. “Michael is working to get the warrant tossed out based on prejudice. Mrs. Richard is trying to make sure Johnny doesn’t get me thrown out of the club because I went renegade and Doc saved my life.” I mumbled the last part under my breath. “And also got arrested trying to help catch Rob.”

“Did I just hear you correctly?” Cord questioned, nudging me. “Did you just say she was arrested for you?”

“Technically, they didn’t arrest me, they just held me for questioning,” Doc said, appearing next to me. “Which is disappointing because I had to sit there for hours and they never took my fingerprints or did a body cavity search. I didn’t even get an orange jumpsuit.” Her mouth pursed in a frown as Cord and Crew stared at her in disbelief.

“That sucks,” Jailbait exclaimed, catching the last of her words. “You can’t tell that as a story.”

“Right!?!” Doc shook her head. “I did get to try out a vibrating bed though.”

Cord and Crew’s gazes swung toward me in unison but I only shook my head. “Nope, not going there.”

Jailbait led Doc to the house and I watched them go, smiling as they chattered happily, two crazy peas in a pod. Cord nodded his head behind me and I turned, spotting Hank standing there. I went over, not sure of my welcome, but the big, old giant lifted me in a bear hug. “We owe you a debt that can never be repaid,” he whispered and I patted him on the shoulder since that was the only part I could reach.

“Good thing you never have to,” I choked out as he eased his hold on me. “I’m glad we made it home.”

Hank nodded, his eyes damp. “There are no words, Clutch.”

I shook my head. “You remember the time I ran away?”

His forehead crinkled but he nodded.

“You, uh, rode up as, uh, the Chief was about to beat me with that club.”

Hank shook his head, as he said, “He always was a squirmy little bastard.”

“You claimed me that night. Called me one of yours. You protected me.” I shrugged. “We’re family and this is what family does.”

“We should go,” Mary interrupted, squeezing my arm with her free hand, the other wr
apped around Kara. “Elaine and her kids are waiting to see Kara.” I hugged Mary. “Thank you so much,” she whispered in my ear. “I can never tell you how much –” she broke off, shaking her head as tears spilled down her cheeks once again. “I love you.”

  “I love you too, Mary.”

They left the yard with Kara wedged between them, waving at me. I lifted my hand, waving back at her, knowing I’d see her again in a few days. She was my girl, after all.

“Think we can go inside?” Noah came up to me, his gaze sweeping the yard. “Feel a little exposed out here.”

I nodded, walking to the door. “Is it still a secret you’re a Rebel at heart?” I asked and he snorted.

“To Uncle Calvin, it is,” he replied, slipping through the door I held open. “How – I have no idea.”

“I’m grateful,” I said as my eyes adjusted to the dim light of the house. Creed was bent over a stack of papers with Mrs. Richard, Jailbait and Doc were at the kitchen table, and my other brothers were nowhere to be found.

“Here,” Noah thrust a file folder at me. “They’re copies, so I don’t need them back.” He gave me a pointed stare. “You didn’t get them from me.”

“Of course not,” I replied, offended. “You know I wouldn’t do that to you, Noah.”

“I know, but –” he stopped, glancing away.

  “What is it?”

He chewed on his lip, his voice dropping. “Don’t repeat this.” I shook my head. “Not even to your brothers.”

“Ok-ay,” I drawled, not sure I liked the idea. “What is going on?”

“You know my uncle is dirty. He’s a bad cop and always has been.”

  “I’m aware.”

“The fact that he’s Chief?” Noah shook his head. “It’s made him worse. I’m worried, Clutch. About what he might do. About what he’s already done.” He nodded to the folder I held. “You’re not the only one with questions.”

I rocked back on my heels at his revelation, the folder bending under the tightness of my grip. I’d asked for the reports to lay my suspicions to rest, but now…what Noah was saying…. “You think there’s something to this.”

“I think we need to be very careful with how we proceed,” Noah warned. “About who knows what we suspect.” I nodded and some of the tension left his face. “I need to go. I’m on duty soon.”
