Far off in the distance, a pair of eyes was watching that smile and saw the bow, at least from a different angle.

“Are you going to watch her every night Graham?” A massive shadow approached, the only light from the moon soaking through the trees glinting off the large axe strapped to the man’s back.

Graham turned to look at Samsun; a huge, burly man who looked a bit too much like a lumberjack, even though the axe was for far more violent purposes. A thick beard covered an even larger jaw, lines creasing on the sides of his blue eyes. He wore a bandana wrapped about his head and clothing that matched the color of the forests; tan leather pants and a simple olive shirt.

“Until I know that danger will not befall her Sam…yes.”

The man let out a hearty laugh and sat down next to Graham, “Well Graham, I may as well keep you company then.” He slumped slightly, not quite as intrigued with staring at nothing as his companion was.

Graham nodded and vision ever moving, looking for even the slightest disturbance; both his eyes and ears open.

It did not take long for Samsun to get incredibly bored, “So…” he began, trying to strike up a conversation, “Remind me again why you’re waiting so long. If you’re so intent on ripping Idimus from his throne then when are you going to actually start?”

Graham locked on to the young woman hundreds of yards away then to the group that she lead, “I think, Sam, that it’s already begun.”
