Unable to take the pleasure anymore, I pull out of her mouth and command, “Over the sofa, now.” She moves toward it, shoving her leggings off, tossing them, showing me her bare ass. “No fucking panties.” The sweater is the next to go, revealing no bra either. “Are you asking for a spanking?”
“I missed you,” she says, turning her head over her left shoulder to look at me. That’s my undoing, and I pounce.
I set up her phone for her while she fixes me a sandwich and chips. I don’t mind this lunch because I had dessert first. In fact, I’m halfway through my sandwich when I free my cock and wag my hand toward her. “I need your sticky cunt on me now.” She hasn’t put her pants back on and her long sweater barely extends past her ass. Ava comes to me and climbs on top without a word, but everything’s written in her expressive eyes. Her legs straddle mine with her mound slowly lowering onto my cock. Groaning, I cup her face and kiss her sweet, coffee-flavored lips.
“Tobias,” she moans against my mouth. She slides her face away from me and then her hands go to her waist, grabbing the hem of her sweater, lifting it off her body, riding me completely naked and breasts in my face. I suck on her gorgeous tits, going back and forth between the two light brown nipples that’ll one day feed my babies. I know she can’t get pregnant yet, since she informed me that she’s on birth control, but that doesn’t stop me from trying anyway. We haven’t talked about her refilling the pills yet because it’s too soon for me to stick my two cents in. For now, I’m going to fuck her like we have no damn barriers to grow our family.
Damn, I’m lost to the feel of her supple, soft body on me. Lightly at first, she lifts her ass, riding me until our bodies heat and she’s bouncing on my cock greedily, impaling herself. Picking up the pace, I grab the back of her hair and squeeze tight as I control her body on mine. “Ava, you’re gonna make me come and I’m going to nut so deep inside you that you’ll feel it for weeks.” Her hips flex and her pussy grips tight around my shaft. I grab her ass, parting her cheeks and sliding my fingers over her crease and into her wetness from behind. Soaking my fingers, I move my middle finger against her little pucker, rimming it before pushing it inside. Ava lets out a cry, pumping harder until we’re both coming. “Soon, it won’t be just my finger.”
“You are a big, dirty man,” she whispers, kissing me hard. “I suppose we should pick up some lube on our next trip to the store.”
“That will certainly get the cashier’s attention.” She rolls her hips, and my dick stiffens like he hasn’t been working harder than he’s ever had, but I can’t get enough of Ava. “Let me give you some more attention.” We start all over again.
Chapter 10
Tobias
It’s been a wonderful two weeks of the new year. Ava and I never sleep apart and fuck every single chance we can get, but today, she wants to go into town to get some feminine stuff and I don’t want to let her go without me. I let her go with Louisa and the kids for a trip to the grocery store in Louisa’s SUV because I don’t want her to drive her car yet. The weather’s still very rough, plus I don’t trust that she’s safe from her father.
I miss her, but I can’t keep her trapped just because I’m fucking paranoid that I’ll lose her. Besides, I can’t take her because there’s just too much going on at the ranch.
It’s about four thirty when I finally see them pulling into the driveway. I’m out of the barn and down to the house to assist as soon as I can. “How was your trip, ladies?”
“Crazy? Two boys in a busy store will do that, but we got everything I had on my list plus the stuff Dillon asked for.”
“Great. I’ll bring these in the house.”
“Is John done for the day?”
“Not yet, but he’s driving home right now to help you with the groceries.”
“Great.” She pulls out once I’m done taking our groceries inside.
“Okay. These four bags go to Dillon. The rest is for here.”
“Damn. You did a lot of shopping for him.”
“It’s for the guys, and it’s not everything. Your employees need to eat.”
“It’s not that I buy the food. It’s that…”
“I’m shopping for another man?”
“Yes.”
“Jealous looks sexy on you, Mr. Reynolds. It’s the least I can do. You need them to do their part. The sooner all the work is done, the sooner you get to come home.”
“Sorry, babe.”
She rises up on her tippy toes and plants a kiss on my cheek. “Are you done for the day?”
“I have paperwork to handle if these guys want a check.”
“Okay. How much time do I have to get dinner done?”
“I’ll be ready to take you out tonight at six.”
“Out?”
“Yes. I’m taking you to Ciao. You need time off too.”
“That’s sweet of you.” This time, she kisses my lips and my control slips. I pin her to the island with my hips while my hands cup her face, kissing her until she’s panting and all my blood has gone south.
“I better get to work. Do you have the rest of this?”
“Yes, I do.” I steal another peck and then go to work before I carry her to bed.
Work has been harder to focus on as the days pass by. I want to ask her to be my wife and never leave, but it’s too soon. I love her so fucking much that I can barely breathe. The thought of losing her would destroy me. If I push the issue, she might just leave after her three months. We’re down to two months until her birthday. Her three months weren’t precisely three; she rounded up. Damn it. I have two months to show her a life with me is worth living in the cold, which she hates. That came as a shocker to me, but I’m just going to find ways to convince her we can spend the rest of our days warming each other up.
I manage to get through all my paperwork, then rush upstairs for a shower and change into a nice pair of slacks and sweater. When I get out, I see Ava stepping out of her old room and I have to do a double take. She’s wearing a mid-length red dress that flows outward and hugs her voluptuous breasts, pushing them upward.
“Is this too much? We stopped at Dress It Up and Louisa insisted I pick something out.”
“No. God, no. You look beautiful. I mean, you always look beautiful, but I…Fuck. I don’t know what I’m saying.” I’m making a fool of myself.
“Thank you. You look extra handsome, if that’s even possible,” she says, intentionally raking her eyes over me from top to bottom. My cock beats on my zipper, and she doesn’t miss that.
She glides her hand down over my pants, rubbing my engorged meat. It’s all her doing, but damn, that feels so fucking good and I’m not pulling her hand away. “Do you think we should take care of it before we go? You’re not the only one who gets jealous.”
She drops to her knees and frees my cock, wrapping her lips around the head, sucking hard. "Look up at me," I growl. Ava tilts her head, giving me her gorgeous eyes. "So fucking beautiful. Jealousy sure looks fucking good on you."
Ava moans around me while stroking the rest of my length with her soft hands. I toss my head back and close my eyes. It feels so damn good that I don’t know if I can take it anymore.
“I’m about to come, babe.” She pumps and sucks me even faster until I let go, sending jets of cum down her throat. Ava doesn’t let a drop fall from her lips. “So fucking sexy, Ava.” I help her up to her feet and kiss her hard. I don’t give a fuck if I can taste myself on her tongue. I’m almost ready to skip dinner anyway.
“Hey, hey.” She gently pushes me off her. “You promised me dinner, big boy. Take me out, and then you can devour me for dessert later.”
“I just can’t resist you, but I made a promise.” I wink, tucking my dick back in my boxer briefs and zippering myself back up.
We arrive at Ciao and some eyes are on us; I’m so used to it, but Ava looks unnerved. I don’t like it. This was my attempt to treat her like she deserves. We needed a date night.
“What’
s wrong, Ava?” I reach over and take her hand in mine, lacing our fingers.
“Nothing.” She gives me a smile, but it’s not a genuine one.
“Babe, I’m getting better at reading ya. What’s wrong?”
“It’s silly, but I’m nervous.” She blushes sweetly. Damn, that’s cute as fuck. Twenty minutes ago she was down on her knees deep-throating my cock, but now she’s nervous. God, I love this woman.
“That is silly. Honestly, all I can think about is peeling you out of that dress, sprawling you across the table, and having you for a meal.”
“Tobias, someone will hear you.” Her cheeks get even pinker, if that’s possible.
“Good. Let them know that I find my woman sexy.” I smirk, arching my brow.
The server comes up and takes our order. I don’t even remember what I ordered because I can’t stop staring at Ava. There’s something about her that makes me not want to miss a moment in her presence. Never have I ever felt that way. Not even with a high school girlfriend when my hormones stirred up my emotions. Nothing but football caught my attention that much, but Ava’s more than that to me. I live and breathe to be willfully captivated. God, I sound pathetic to myself, but I need her for the rest of my days.
The server brings us both ravioli and pours us a glass of wine. Ava takes a bite of her ravioli and lets out a moan that drives me wild. “I think my dick just banged against the bottom of the table with that one.”
“What one?”
“That sound, baby. Every time you moan, I get hard as hell.”
“You’re always hard,” she whispers.
“For you.”
“Just eat.”
“Oh I’m planning on it,” I say, licking my lips.
“I meant the dinner on your plate, you horny cowboy.” She rolls her eyes at me, but there’s that sexy smile instead of that fake shit she tried to toss my way earlier. That’s all I need.
“Fine. I’ll be good. So tell me—what is it that you want to do once you’re wealthy?”
“Honestly, I haven’t thought that far. I was working on a Business degree before I disappeared. I haven’t dropped out yet, so I better contact their offices soon because I’ll have all F’s in my classes and then my overall GPA will suck when I eventually finish.”
“Can you take those classes at another school? Or do you plan to go back to Purdue?”
“Again. Another I don’t know. I really haven’t thought that far ahead.” Good. There’s no rush for her to leave. Maybe she doesn’t want to leave. Can I convince her to stay?
I take another bite of my food as she does because I want to shout out to the world how much I love her. How fucking much I need her. As I take a drink of my wine, my cell vibrates in my pants. It’s a text from John. An issue. Stolen truck. No one around. I take a look at the photo he sent, and it’s my front gate torn down with a vehicle through it.
I reply. Check the house.
Already on it.
“What’s wrong?” Shit. I try to school my expression. I don’t want to upset her. We’re supposed to be on our first romantic date night. I hope one of many.
“Nothing. A minor complication. Let’s enjoy our dinner. I’ll deal with the matter when we get home.”
It’s semi true because a minute later John texts me back House is empty. No one’s been inside.
“Are you sure? You look pissed.”
“Yes, I’m sure. I’m just pissed that someone is interrupting our beautiful night together.”
“So we never talk about your football career and honestly, I haven’t looked any of it up.”
“Why not?”
“I didn’t want to pry.”
“There’s nothing to pry over. I played for seven full seasons. I was drafted in the first round, so the pay was excellent. Rookie deals aren’t terrible for the first rounders, but they’re not as big as your next contract. When my five-year contract came up, I signed a two-year, fifteen million deal with an option for a third.”
“I was just about to start my third year of the deal when I got the news that my father died. I quit and walked away from the sport. Hell, I only gave a written statement, which came from my agent. I didn’t want to deal with shit. Landon came in and kept the press away.”
“Do you regret playing?”
“Hell, no. I regret taking that last year. I’d already started losing the love for it, my parents told me I had a long time before I had to take over the ranch and that I didn’t have a long time to play.”
“I’m sorry.”
“No, don’t be sorry. My parents were proud of me. They pushed us to our dreams. Hell, they didn’t even give Landon too much shit about stealing away Lara because they knew she wanted to be with him.”
“They sound amazing.”
“They were. That’s why I take so much pride in my family home and keeping the ranch in our family.” I wonder if she knows how much I want her to be the mother of my kids to help keep it in our family.
“You should. It’s an amazing place with a great history.”
“Thanks, babe.” We drink our wine and spend time talking less about us and more on movies.
“What’s your favorite movie?”
“Rudy. You?”
“Pride and Prejudice. The Keira Knightly version. Although I’ve never seen Rudy before. I’ve heard of it, though.”
“Well, I know what we’re doing tomorrow night.”
“Sounds good to me. If you watch Pride and Prejudice with me.”
“That’s a deal.” I’d watch any romantic movie she wants as long as that means I can hold her all night.
“Favorite genre of music?” she asks.
“Classic Rock. You?”
“Almost something from every decade since the sixties.”
“Anything else I can get you?” the server asks.
“No, just the check. Thank you. Everything has been wonderful.”
She nods and takes our plates. “Tonight has been great. This food is fantastic. Thank you.”
She comes back with the bill and I slip my card inside. Suddenly the memory of the ranch pops back into my head. I hope the guys have it cleared out before we get there. I’d hate for her to be upset.
“I can’t wait to get home.”
“Me either,” I sigh, taking the card from the server and signing the receipt.
“It’s pretty late.”
“It’s not that bad, but we do have to get up early in the morning.” She stands and I join her, helping to put her coat on. “You are so beautiful.” I kiss her cheek and take her hand. I could spend a lifetime doing this. Her little hand fits so perfectly in mine.
Once we’re outside, I see a small crowd has gathered near a squad car and my truck. I click the unlock button on it just to get them out of my way. When they move out of the way, I see my windshield has been bricked. A police officer approaches us. A different one from back in September. I’ve known him since we were kids. “Is this your vehicle, Tobias?”
“It is.” We shake hands, but I keep my other hand on Ava’s waist. I don’t want to introduce her or let her out of my reach. I’ve never had any trouble like this before which unnerves me.
“Sorry, Tobias. We’re not sure who did it, but we’re going to get to the bottom of it. We’re checking to see if anyone’s cameras caught the person. Do you have any ideas who could have done this?”
I ignore his question because my mind goes immediately to my belongings in the truck—one in particular. “Did they steal anything from inside?”
“No, but after the call about the stolen truck by your house this evening and the property damage, we don’t think this is a simple attempted burglary.” This is turning out to be one hell of a fucked up night. I don’t have the patience for this. All I wanted to do was take my woman on a nice date, make love to her until we passed out, but some asshole had to ruin everything.
“I agree. I have to get this truck towed to someplace to service it.”
“We’ve already called the local tow company.”
“Great. Thanks. It’s not drivable, but let me get something out of the glove box,” I say. There’s no way I can let them take it without snagging one thing. If someone found it there would be talk all over town before Ava even knows about.
“Be careful not to touch too much.” I nod, rushing to the passenger door. I pop open the door and pull the lever to the glove compartment and it’s still sitting there. I close my eyes and breathe a sigh of relief as I stuff it into an inside coat pocket. This was most certainly not a theft. Who did this?
“Thank you,” I tell the officer, shaking his hand before returning to Ava’s side.
“How are we getting home?” I’m sure I can ask the officers, but I’m betting they’re not done with their work and I don’t want to wait around.
“Wait right here, babe. Don’t move from this spot. I’ll call for a ride.” I stare into her eyes which I hope are glossy from the cold. I’d hate to see her cry.
I walk away from Ava, excusing myself to call John, who’s at the ranch with a few of the guys dealing with the broken gate and the abandoned vehicle there. “I need someone to pick us up. We’re at Ciao.”
“What happened?”
“Someone smashed my truck window in, but we don’t know who yet.”
“I’ll send Jessie. Should be about ten to fifteen.”
“Okay, thanks.” I hang up. I walk around the truck as I end the call. Shit. I hadn’t noticed the slashed tires until now. They’re on the driver’s side, so they weren’t visible from our vantage point. I’m seeing red. This is some bullshit. I hope one of these businesses has a camera that works. I know many times people put them up for show, but we won’t know until asked.
“They’ll be here in fifteen,” I tell Ava. She nods, staring at my broken truck.
“Is this what you received a message about earlier?” she asks, a slight hint of fear in her voice. Fuck, I hate that she’s afraid.
