  The End

  Acknowledgements

This ever-evolving story is only possible because of the three that I dedicate this book to. My mother Sandra and father Ken, and my step mother Dee. My mother with her unwavering strength, a single mother of four children. We never went hungry growing up, and what I learned from her more than anything is that we can handle it. We can handle whatever life throws our way. My father, a Navy veteran on the other hand taught me the importance of doing what needs to be done. As he said, “Take everything in life that you don’t want to do, but need to. Take all of that shit, and make a shit sandwich and eat it.” In other words, tackle all of the things that you don’t want to do as early as possible, because after that it’s done. My step mother Dee had been absolutely supportive through my teen years, helping to guide me through the war-zone that is high school. This story began with me hiding in my dark room, Linkin Park blaring through the headphones in my freshman year. It is these three amazing souls that led to this, and to ever upcoming story. Thank you three for teaching me things that even today I still am happy to learn.
