“Fuck yeah.” Damien pushed deeper, pulling his head forward. The way his thick width filled Austin’s mouth completely gave him a feeling of being full. And this was just the beginning. Once his long length entered his ass, Austin would be complete.

Fingers gripped into Austin’s hair and Damien pulled his head back, straightening out his throat. “More.” The thickness advanced and Austin relaxed the muscles in his mouth, letting his master slide deeper. “Good boy.” The pressure on his hair loosened and Damien’s other hand came to cup his cheek. “Look at me, Austin. Let me see your eyes. I can’t get enough of staring into them.”

Love exploded in Austin’s chest and he met Damien’s gaze. “There it is. Feel our bond, my pet. You were made for me. This”—his thumb traced down his cock and over Austin’s lip, pushing into the opening near the crease—“was meant to be.” The thrust continued and not once did Austin turn away from their connection.

Damien’s cock left his mouth, and he leaned down, running his tongue over Austin’s lower lip. I can taste myself of you.” Teeth enclosed around him, and Damien gently pulled back. Pressure gripped Austin cock and he moaned at his master stroking his hard length. Pre-cum pooled on his stomach with how much he wanted to feel his mate inside of him.

Slowly, Damien began biting his way down Austin’s chest. The mix between pleasure and pain left Austin in a state of wanting more of one sensation over the other. The combination of both was a mind fuck. But Damien was good at that. He knew how to get deep inside of his head and have him just as desperate for him there as his body was for actual contact.

Teeth moved to the length of his cock and Austin groaned, loudly. Just when he thought he couldn’t take anymore, Damien traced his tongue back up to the head of his cock. The length disappeared past his full lips and the sling jerked at Austin’s response to the ecstasy of the extreme contrasts.

“Be still, my pet, or else I’m bringing out the crop.”

Austin breathed through the need to thrust inside Damien’s mouth. His master shifted to between Austin’s legs and his eyes pierced into his very soul. The width of his tongue was visible as he made his way up his length. The sight was almost too much for him. Austin swallowed hard and felt his throat tighten when Damien made his way back down and his tongue swept across his tight sac. When his teeth gently pulled, Austin cried out in pleasure. “Damien. Please.”

A half smile came to his mate’s face. He reached over and grabbed the bottle of lube. “I could drag this out for hours, my pet. You’re lucky we have to get up early. Next time you beg, I will prolong even longer. You will not let your need overpower you. Not with me. You will hold it at bay until I tell you otherwise.”

“I’m sorry, Damien.” Austin relaxed himself at the pressure against the opening of his ass. Damien’s finger slid deep and he took all of it eagerly. Throbbing pulsed in his cock and he lifted his head to watch. Another finger entered and Austin moaned. His hips moved involuntarily, his body well aware of what it wanted.

The moment Damien’s fingers left his ass, Austin felt a piece of him leave. Until his master was filling him again he would be incomplete.

“So willing and ready.” Damien eased the head of his cock into Austin’s ass and moved forward, placing his upper body to cover Austin’s. Their faces were but inches apart and with every breath Austin took, he felt himself stretch to take more of his mate’s cock.

“Don’t ever stop doing this,” Austin whispered. He knew he shouldn’t have talked, but as they held eye contact he couldn’t help himself. “Ever.”

A look came over Damien’s face that spoke volumes. His lips crushed into Austin’s, painfully. It wasn’t just a punishing kiss, it was a promise. A seal between them that was just as thick as the blood that washed over Austin’s tongue from his cut lip.

“You never have to worry about that, Austin. What we have can never be taken away. It’ll never fade, or die out. Our bond will last until our last breath, and I will continue to love you even after that.”

A ragged breath came from Austin as his mate continued to thrust inside of him. He’d known being mated with someone was a gift, but this went far beyond a prize. There were no words to describe what he, Austin, and Georgina shared. Their bond to one another was the greatest treasure imaginable, and as long as he had his mates that was all that mattered.

Georgina yawned and snuggled closer to the spot she knew Damien slept. She could feel Austin curled around her back, but as she reached to throw her arm over her mate, she realized he wasn’t there. Memories from earlier that night flooded back and she flew to a sitting position. The light was shining through the windows already, and she squinted as she looked around the room.

The door to the bathroom opened and she calmed as she watched Damien walk out, nude. “You’re awake.”

Georgina lowered her head. “I’m so upset with myself about last night. I didn’t mean to fall asleep.”

Damien laughed, quietly. “I know that, doll. I’m not upset in the least. It was late. Don’t worry. You couldn’t help it.” He held out his arms. “Come to me.”

The bed shifted as she crawled out of it and Austin groaned and rolled over. She smiled and threw herself into Damien’s arms. His hard body had her wanting to climb up to straddle his hips. Damn, she missed him.

“God, your smell.” He inhaled deeply. “I missed it so much. And the feel of your skin.” Roughness from him shaving the night before was already starting to take effect. As he rubbed it against her neck, she moaned. “As much as I’d love to ravish you right now, Georgina, we really need to wake up Austin and talk.”

The smile fell from her face. She knew this was coming, and she wasn’t sure how she felt about it. The thought of Damien fighting an alpha to take his spot scared the shit out of her. Most alpha fights were to the death. It was her biggest fear, and one that was starting to unfold right in front of her. But she couldn’t deny the sadness she’d felt at the desperation she heard coming from the other end of Logan’s phone as they all sat there and listened to the conversation Damien had with the men from The Big C.

She was so conflicted. A part of her wanted her mate to step up and save the day. She loved that they had confidence that he could run the pack, and she had no doubts they were right. But what happened if the fight didn’t pan out the way they all wanted? What if Damien died trying to take authority of The Big C? To hell with her job, or anything like that. It was the least of her problems. She could easily do the same thing at the new ranch. What she cared about the most was her mate’s safety.

Georgina stepped back and nodded. Her eyes went to Austin. “What does he think you should do?”

A sigh came from Damien’s mouth. “He worries about you. He’s behind me on whatever my decision is. But I have to tell you though, Georgina. I’m worried about you, too.” He pulled her to the bed and they sat on the edge. “I would never take you out of the place that makes you happy. Although I want to help those men, I can’t, knowing that you’re going to be miserable or unhappy in a place that’s not your home.”

A yawn filled the room and Georgina looked back at Austin. He pushed to his elbow and sat up, looking at them. “Is it time for the talk?”

“Yep.” Damien glanced at him and turned back to Georgina. “I need you to be one hundred percent honest with me, Georgie, no matter what it is.”

“Can I brush my teeth first?” She needed more time to think. Dammit.

“Hurry. No delaying this, doll. I have to give them an answer within the next hour and a half, and it’s a twenty-minute drive to Dark Days.”

Georgina didn’t wait. She rushed into the bathroom. As she started brushing her teeth she stared at herself in the mirror. What was the right choice? It was obvious that Damien wanted this. If he didn’t he would have said no without a second thought. Austin would back Damien, but both of their worries were focused on her. Could she be happy at The Big C with Damien as the alpha? Myles di
d it, and so did Lynna, Knox’s mate.

She washed out her mouth, and then her face, and mindlessly looked at herself. The answer came over her, and she knew it was the right one. Her feet felt like they were made of lead as she came to stand before her two mates. She took in their worried expressions as they waited for her answer. It was time. Heaven help them.

  Chapter 12

Damien held Georgina’s and Austin’s hand as he walked into Logan’s office. Standing behind the desk was Logan, Knox, Jack, the alpha of Whiskey River Ranch, and his brother Rogue. All of them were leaders, except Rogue, but that was only a matter of time if it was true he was taking over Triple Z. They watched quietly as he and his mates settled on the other side of the oak.

“Do you have a decision?” Logan’s voice was deep. His wolf was positively radiating throughout the room. Hell, all of theirs were. They wanted this. Damien could feel it in the pit of his stomach. If he took The Big C, and Rogue took Triple Z, then west Texas would pretty much belong to them. To the men of Dark Days.

“I have.” Georgina and Austin gripped his hands tightly. “The Big C will have a new alpha. I’ll start making plans immediately.”

“Yes!” Jack started clapping his hands hard. “Fucking, Damien. I told you years ago you were meant for greatness, brother. You all are.”

Logan and his brothers smiled. “Let’s do this.” Logan picked up the phone. “Ty, get the teams into the barn. Bring out the board. We start preparing.” He hung up and the happiness in the room was almost too thick to even breathe in. His brothers walked around and he hated letting go of his connection with his mates.

“You made the right decision,” Knox said, shaking his hand. “We’ll all be there for you to make sure shit doesn’t get out of control. It’ll be a fair fight. At least as fair as it can get concerning Sebastian. He’s not really one to lie down. It’ll be an even match, that’s for sure.”

Damien knew that. Sebastian was every bit as tough as he was. There was only one thing setting them apart. Mates. Sebastian didn’t have any, and Damien wasn’t about to be divided from his by death any time soon. He would win. He had to.

Fingers pressed into his forearm and he looked over at Georgina’s worried face. Her fear was well placed. The whole reason she didn’t want to mate to begin with was she was scared about losing who she bonded to. Now he was making her face that very possibility. Damien turned his back to the men and cupped her face. “Talk to me.” He searched her eyes trying to figure out what was going through her mind. She’d said she was all right with this, but he knew she wasn’t. Not one hundred percent.

“I’m fine. Really. I just have a few things I need to take care of. I want to go over and tell Bex and everyone bye. I know it’ll be a few days before anything happens, but I would like to say my good-byes today. There’s a lot to do and I need to start packing.”

“Of course.” Damien brought his lips down to hers. “Austin and I will be in the barn if you need anything.”

Georgina nodded and he felt as her soft skin moved underneath his fingertips while she turned. He stepped back and watched her eyes burn into the men around them. “This was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. I know the importance of why this needs to happen, but I want you to put that aside for a moment and listen to me.”

Tears filled Georgina’s eyes and she reached over and clutched to his and Austin’s hands. “Damien and Austin are all I have. They mean more to me than people will ever realize by just looking at the three of us together. But I know almost all of you in this room know what it means to have a mate.” She paused. “Let that sink in. Think about your mates and how they would feel if they suddenly didn’t have you in their lives.”

The men looked down and Damien could feel their sudden fear. Logan shifted and glanced up at her as she continued. “Let what you feel right now be the emotion that takes you into The Big C. Not excitement because you become more protected by a bigger chunk of territory. Or because the West will now belong to all of you. Me, Myles, Lynna, Daniel, Lewis…we’ll be the ones at home praying for your safe return. This might be Damien’s fight, and it scares me to death, but we all know things can go horribly wrong outside of the main event. Don’t forget to stay alert and have each other’s backs. We’re counting on each of you to return safely.”

Georgina’s hand let go of his and wiped the tear that escaped down her cheek. “I couldn’t bear to lose any of you or see how the aftermath will affect the ones you love. Please, don’t put any of us through that. Now, that’s all.” Georgina walked out of the room and they all just stood there looking at each other.

“She’s right.” Logan sunk into his chair and the other men either took a seat on the other side of the desk or leaned against the nearest wall. “We’ve been too gung ho about this and the reality is, anything can happen. We were lucky when Jack won Whiskey River Ranch, and Knox took over Hidden Hills. We can’t let that get to our heads. The reality is, people need our help, and they’re personally asking for Damien to give it to them. We’re there to purely provide safety and assistance if he needs it.”

Damien looked down at his boots. He was proud of Georgina for giving her speech. The men needed to have their priorities set straight, and his Georgie had definitely done that. There were things a lot bigger going on with this situation than land, or being stronger than someone. With each new responsibility they acquired came more chances of something going wrong. He just prayed this wasn’t one of those times.

  * * * *

Georgina closed her eyes and let the sun soak into her skin. It was the little things she’d become so aware of lately. And wasn’t that what they said were the most important things in life? The things no one seemed to notice as they carried on with their day-to-day lives. She opened her eyes and looked at the thick clusters of white, fluffy clouds in the distance. When was the last time she’d actually taken a moment to glance at the sky and really look at it? Hell, she couldn’t remember.

Three men rode by on horses and Georgina felt herself momentarily get distracted by them. Well, she couldn’t stare all day. There were people she had to say good-bye to. Bex was off in the distance, near the main corral, and she headed toward him first.

“Georgie. They say you might be leaving.” He looked sad as she came up to him.

“There’s a big possibility.” She leaned her arms against the corral and jerked them back. The sun had already heated up. “Dammit.” As she rubbed the burning, she nodded toward Cooper, who was in the corral. “He’s getting better at training.” The horse jerked, trying to throw him off.

“Yeah, he is. Logan is very proud of him.” Bex grabbed her hand, hesitantly. “I’ve enjoyed working with you. You’ve taught me so much. I’m even getting better with the whip. I say by this time next year I’ll be able to be a quarter as good as you.”

Georgina laughed. “You’re already passed that, Bex. You’re great. Just keep practicing. Before you know it, you’ll be wielding that whip as easily as you breathe.” He nodded and she looked toward the office area. The men were still inside, but she knew they’d be heading to the barn soon enough.

“I’ve got to say good-bye to a few more people. When Cooper gets done will you tell him I’m looking for him?”

“Sure thing.” Bex gave her a hug and Georgina rounded to the back of the office where her brother was being kept. She closed her eyes trying her hardest to remember the code. Her hand lifted to the keypad and she punched in what she thought maybe Damien had. The buzzer rang and her mouth opened in shock.

Pete looked up at her concerned. “You’re back.”

Georgina smiled. “Yes, I’m not sure if you’ve heard or not but I might be leaving soon. I’m here to say good-bye to my brother. It shouldn’t take but a minute.”

“I’m sorry, Georgina, but I’m not at liberty to let you through without Logan or Damien with you.”

Shit. The last thing she wanted to do was disturb them. Their minds were focused o
n the upcoming fight. Distracting them could be a big mistake. It wasn’t like she’d be here long, anyway. She just wanted to get this over with.

Georgina looked around, letting her mind go over ways to persuade him. “I told Damien I was coming to say my farewells, and Logan was right there. I’m pretty sure they knew I was coming, and as you can see, here I am.”

His eyes narrowed, but she knew he was debating.

“I promise I won’t be longer than a few minutes. I just want to tell him good-bye.”

The side door opened behind her and she felt her heart catch in her throat. She was so jittery even having to be here. Especially without her mates.

A young man walked out of the side door pushing a large cart full of food trays. Pete looked and his gaze came to her. “Well, they’re about to eat, but I guess it’d be okay for you to peek in real quick. Just make it fast. A few minutes. Tops.”

“Thank you,” she sighed in relief. “I promise. I’ll be in and out.” The buzzer sounded and the main door to the cells opened. Eyes followed her as she slowly walked down the hall. Growls erupted all around her and she knew it was the kill order still imbedded in almost all of the men’s wolves. Her brother was a lot stronger than she’d thought. For him to be able to command anyone surprised her. Especially while they were in human form. Of course, anyone stronger than him wouldn’t react, but these men took heed at his order.

A wolf lunged into the bars with all of his strength. Georgina jumped and walked faster. She hated that her brother was so far at the damn end. The sound of the main door opened behind her and she watched the younger guy come in pushing the cart. As he began placing the food through the openings at the bottom of the bars she felt safer to have him around.

Michael sat on the edge of the cot with his hands resting on his knees. A big smile covered his face. It was enough to make her pause in greeting him. That smile was not one she’d say was anywhere near welcoming. It was pure evil. Who was this man who her brother had become? It was like she was looking at a complete stranger.
