The Last First Kiss Page 15

by Julie Cannon

Matt sighed with pleasure. She wanted to go slowly, to prolong the sensations as long as she could and make this as wonderful for Kelly as it was for her. Kelly’s fingers were in her hair.

“You feel so good,” Kelly said.

Matt gently caressed Kelly’s cheek with the back of her fingers. She kissed her again. Moving lower, she took one of Kelly’s breasts into her mouth and gently bit the nipple. Kelly whispered her name and moved under her, increasing their connection. Matt slid her hand to Kelly’s stomach, across her hips, caressing ever so closer to the warmth awaiting her. She teased the inside of Kelly’s thighs and came agonizingly close to her clitoris, waiting to be invited. Kelly raised her hips, and Matt stilled her hand and looked into her eyes.

The fire in Kelly’s eyes was blazing and left no doubt as to her desire. Kelly slid her hand down Matt’s arm and placed it over Matt’s. She moved it to her clitoris.

  “Oh, God, please touch me.”

At the first brush of contact, Kelly closed her eyes, arched her back, and moaned with pleasure.

“God. You are so beautiful.” Matt watched her fingers move over Kelly’s warm, moist center. Kelly began to writhe rhythmically beneath her, and Matt’s own desire skyrocketed.

Touching Kelly was almost more than she could bear, and she forced back her own climax to watch Kelly. Riding a feeling of euphoria that she had never imagined, she watched Kelly’s hand on hers as they brought her to orgasm. Matt continued to stroke her as the spasms peaked a second time.

Kelly shifted, and in an instant her hand found Matt’s rock-hard clit. She buried her face in Kelly’s neck as she immediately climaxed into Kelly’s hand. Lights flashed behind her eyes, and she forgot to breathe as shudder after shudder racked her body.

Matt got her breathing under control and raised her head and looked at the woman she’d just made love to. Kelly was the most beautiful woman she’d ever seen. A sheet of sweat covered her neck and drew Matt’s lips once again. As she kissed and licked the sensitive skin, she began to stroke Kelly again. She immediately lifted her hips in response.

“I don’t think I can do that again,” Kelly said, but her body was telling a very different story.

“Then let’s do this.” Matt quickly shifted and replaced her hand with her tongue.

  “Oh, God, Matt.”

Matt slowed her tongue, tasting the juices that flowed freely. Breathing heavily, Kelly gasped each time her tongue lightly slipped over her clitoris.

  “Now.”

It was the only word Matt needed to hear as she applied just enough pressure for Kelly to come again.

Matt took Kelly in her arms, cradling her as the aftershocks of her orgasm left her sated. She reached down and pulled the sheet up to cover them both.

  Chapter Twenty-five

“And this is your throttle. It’s what gives the machine gas.”

Matt looked at Kelly and rolled her eyes at the man’s condescending tone. She had a scathing comeback on the tip of her tongue, but one look from Kelly made her keep her mouth shut. It had been only four days since they’d met, but Matt thought it felt like much, much longer.

“Two hours, right?” Kelly asked, confirming the amount of time they’d reserved the Waverunner for.

“Yes, and we charge by the minute if you’re late,” he said, as if they couldn’t tell time.

They zipped up their life jackets, and Kelly climbed on behind Matt.

“And another thing,” he said, practically leering at Kelly. Only her legs were visible, the bulky vest covering the upper half of her body. Her hair was in a ponytail out the back of an Atlanta Braves baseball cap, and her dark sunglasses hid her eyes.

“We have GPS trackers, so if you girls get lost, we’ll be able to find you.”

“Don’t worry.” Matt slid her sunglasses down her nose so the man could see her eyes.

“We know exactly where we’re going and what we’re going to do when we get there.” She winked at him just before she squeezed the throttle, leaving him and his shocked expression in her wake.

They were on a white-and-lime-green Yamaha VX Deluxe Waverunner that rocketed them from zero to forty miles an hour, and in less than a minute, they were in open water. It was choppier than the calm water of the inlet, the ocean waves splashing water in Matt’s eyes. After a few similar drenches, her eyes burned from the salt and she released her grip, the big machine slowing to a stop.

“I can’t see anything,” Matt said as a wave lifted the ski, then set it back down for another wave to do the same. “This salt water’s burning my eyes.”

“Me too,” Kelly said from behind her. She opened the hatch behind her seat and pulled out her blue backpack. After rummaging around, she handed Matt a bottle of water.

“Here,” she said. “Rinse out your eyes.”

The cold water was shocking when it hit her face. She tipped her head back and flushed her eyes. “Shit, that’s cold, but it feels good.” She handed the flask back to Kelly, who made her own sounds of relief.

“Let’s put on the goggles we brought,” Kelly said, reaching into their bag. “That should help.”

They had brought along snorkeling gear, intending to view the coral up close and personal once they reached the island in the distance.

“How do I look?” Matt asked after donning her mask. It was neon yellow. “Shit,” she exclaimed, grabbing the handlebars of the ski as a wave threatened to topple them. They both laughed.

“As good as I probably do, but I don’t care. Let’s go,” she said. “I have plans for you when we get there.” She pointed to the island.

Kelly leaned in and kissed her, their clunky goggles banging against each other. She tasted like salt, warm, summer sun, and promise.

“Hang on,” Matt said before squeezing the throttle to the max.

The water was crystal clear as they approached the shoreline. A stingray lazily swam around them, its large fins making it look like it was flying through the water, its barbed tail at least three feet long. Matt glanced at her watch, conscious of the time they needed to be back. It had taken them ten minutes to reach the island after stopping to check out an old, rusted cargo ship that had run aground during a storm a dozen years earlier.

Matt pulled out a rope she found in the cargo hold and tied one end to the handlebars of the ski. The other she wrapped around the trunk of a sturdy tree not far from the shoreline. She double-checked that the rope was securely fastened.

“As much as I’d love to be stranded on a deserted island with you, I really don’t want to be stranded on a deserted island,” Matt said. She held out her hand. “Come on. Let’s take a walk.”

The sand was soft and warm as they strolled down the shoreline holding hands. The sun was high in the sky when Matt pulled Kelly under a large tree, the canopy of leaves shading them from the hot, midday sun. She spread out the large beach towel they’d brought with them and sat down, pulling Kelly with her.

Matt turned to Kelly, all kinds of fun, naughty things dancing through her imagination.

“You were saying something about what you wanted to do with me when we got here.”

Desire flared in Kelly’s eyes, and Matt’s clit began to twitch in anticipation. She’d never made love outdoors—in a tent during a long, rainy afternoon didn’t count. The image of their naked bodies worshipping each other in the sun was heady. No, it was downright hot—no pun intended.

Kelly reached behind her back and untied the string that secured her bikini top around her chest. The material shifted, giving Matt more than a little peek at her breasts. She was reaching around her neck when Matt stopped her.

  “Let me.”

Kelly dropped her hands into her lap, and Matt slowly untied the string that held the two small triangles over her breasts. Even though she’d seen, touched, and tasted Kelly’s breasts dozens of times, the anticipation of seeing them bare before her again was exciting.

“Every time I see you, I want you,” Matt w
hispered, her voice husky with desire as she let the top slide from Kelly’s breasts.

Kelly’s breasts weren’t perfect. One was a little larger than the other, and she wasn’t a teenager anymore, but they were perfect to Matt. Her hand shook as she traced the outline of one, then the other, each circle getting smaller on her path to an erect nipple.

Kelly’s breathing was quick and shallow, and Matt had barely touched her. The ability to excite her with the whisper of a finger was heady. Kelly shifted, allowing Matt to slide her shorts over her enticing hips and down her long legs. She lay back, naked, as Matt looked at her.

“You are so beautiful,” Matt said, the words not even beginning to describe the sight in front of her. She ran her fingertip down the center of Kelly’s chest, making lazy trails across her stomach, teasing just above her pubic bone. Kelly’s hips lifted in obvious anticipation. Her eyes were closed, allowing Matt complete access to her, and she was overwhelmed with desire to please her, have her, possess her. Kelly parted her legs.

“Touch me.” Kelly’s words were part command, part plea, and Matt’s head spun.

Still using just one finger, Matt slid inside warm, wet folds, flicking over Kelly’s hard clit. Kelly grabbed a handful of towel and sand. Her knees rose and dropped open, giving Matt greater access. Her skin was flushed, her breathing ragged as she offered herself completely to Matt. The trust at this moment was overwhelming, and Matt felt it to her core.

Emotions Matt had never experienced swirled around her. Making love in the dark of night or the light of day was no match to the connection she felt as she made love to Kelly under the eyes of nature. Matt wanted her tongue to mirror the same exciting trail as her finger had—lick the salt, sweat, and desire from Kelly’s skin. She wanted to slide her tongue inside her warm, wet center until she screamed her name as she came. But this scene, before her right now, could not be bested by anything she could imagine.

Kelly opened her eyes and locked her gaze with hers. They were ablaze with desire, filled with trust, and glazed with need.

  “Make me come.”

Matt watched Kelly transform into the most beautiful, captivating, mesmerizing woman she had ever seen as she crested the peak of orgasm.

“Oh my God, what you do to me,” Kelly said, her head starting to clear and her pulse slow to an almost normal rate. She’d thought she’d had the best orgasms of her life with Matt, but this one was indescribable. If she had died the instant it hit, she would die a very happy woman.

It wasn’t Matt’s skill, though she definitely knew what she was doing and exactly what Kelly needed, that set her apart from all the others. It was the intensity of her touch, the way she made Kelly feel like she was the first and only woman she’d ever made love to.

It didn’t take more than Matt’s eyes on her to make her come. One touch, or one hundred, was all she needed for her body to explode into a million pieces scattered across the universe. And the way Matt held her afterward brought them all back together again. Kelly had had mind-blowing orgasms before, but nothing compared to how she felt when Matt touched her, put her mouth on her, whispered in her ear, “Come for me.”

Kelly opened her eyes, the blue sky across the horizon cloudless. She lay curled against Matt’s side, Matt’s arms around her. She must have fallen asleep right after, because Matt was still fully clothed. A surge of desire drove her to action.

“Mmm,” Matt murmured as Kelly unsnapped her shorts and slid her hand inside. Matt was wet and shifted just enough to give Kelly better access.

“We’re gonna be late if you keep that up,” Matt said, not making a move to stop her.

“My credit card has an unlimited max,” Kelly said, pulling Matt’s shorts off and settling between her legs.

“Hot and rich,” Matt hissed when Kelly parted her warm lips. “I’m yours for the taking.”

Kelly’s heart hammered as she exposed Matt’s center like she’d never seen it before. Her tongue explored familiar territory, yet new and exciting at the same time. They’d made love more times than she could count, each as glorious and thrilling as the first. Was this how it was supposed to be? The same act, with the same body parts, was unique every time? How could that be? God knew what she was doing when she blessed women loving women.

“God, Kelly, you make me feel so incredibly alive,” Matt said, moving restlessly, sounding hoarse. “I don’t care how you do it. Just don’t stop.”

Matt tensed, and Kelly knew she was a heartbeat away from orgasm. Kelly finally understood the phrase “one with nature.” An instant later Matt let out a long, pleasure-filled moan, but not before saying, “Don’t ever stop.”

  ✥ ✥ ✥

“That’s $241.77 added to your bill for late charges,” the man said, looking at Matt, then Kelly. She knew what he was thinking, and she was more than happy to give it to him.

She kissed Matt on the lips, surprising her. “And worth every penny.”

The man’s mouth dropped open, and Kelly took Matt’s hand as they walked to the waiting taxi.

  Chapter Twenty-six

They were in a taxi returning from dinner the next night when Kelly said, “I have reservations for deep-sea fishing tomorrow. Interested?”

“I’ve never been,” Matt replied, images of the Deadliest Catch series flashing through her mind.

“I have, and it’s a lot of fun. You ride around in a boat, catch some sun, snag a few fish, and drink beer,” Kelly said. “How is that not fun? Unless you have something against fishing?” She looked worried.

“No, no, not at all,” Matt said, trying to reassure her. It did sound like fun, especially the part that entailed spending the day with Kelly. “What do I bring?”

“We have to get a fishing license, but we can get that at the dock before we board. You don’t need to worry about bringing cash for anything. My treat,” Kelly said, her smile dazzling. “Bring a backpack and some sunscreen, SPF 30 at least. We’ll be on the water most of the day, and your face and neck and, especially with your short hair, the tops of your ears will get fried, if you’re not careful. Better bring a hat if you have one. And don’t forget sunglasses. The glare off the water is brutal.”

“You sound like a real expert,” Matt said jokingly. It was obvious Kelly had done this a few times and was excited to go again.

“And don’t forget a towel and some Dramamine if you’re prone to seasickness. Dress in layers. It might be cool on the water but will get warm once the sun comes up.”

“The sun comes up?” Matt asked, not liking the sound of that phrase. She was so not a morning person. “What time do we need to leave?”

“We need to be at the dock at five thirty.”

“As in five thirty in the morning?” When Kelly nodded, she asked, “Is there such a thing as sunset fishing?” she asked hopefully, even though she knew better.

“That’s called a dinner cruise, silly,” Kelly said, her laughter filling the small car. She pecked her on the cheek. “That’s the day after tomorrow.”

Two men were waiting at slip 68 when Matt and Kelly approached the next morning. Matt had had two cups of coffee, and Kelly had insisted she eat a light breakfast before they left her room. She’d gone directly to her suite after the taxi had dropped them off to get what she needed for their outing the next day. Becca was sitting on the balcony, a glass of wine in her hand when she walked in.

“How was dinner?” she asked, indicating for Matt to sit in the chair next to her.

“It was good. Some Mexican restaurant, but I don’t remember the name of it. It had round sandstones in the shape of sand dollars on the floor. Kind of cool.”

  “How was the food?”

“Okay, but nothing to write home about. The margaritas were okay too. I think the chips were the best thing the place had going for it.”

“Things seem to be going pretty good for you two. Not that we’re complaining, but we haven’t seen much of you.”

  “We’re having fun,” M
att replied. “Isn’t that what I was supposed to do? Have fun?”

“And get laid,” Becca interjected. “And by the blush on your cheeks, I think that’s going more than just okay.”

“You could say that.” In her own mind Matt would categorize it as magnificent, mind-blowing, earth-moving, and a variety of other adjectives she could name.

“I’m sorry I haven’t been around much. We’re supposed to go fishing tomorrow, but I’ll cancel and spend the day with you two.”

“You’ll do no such thing,” Becca said. “Get whatever you need for tomorrow and get out of here. I know you want to. If I had a gorgeous woman look at me like she wanted me for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, I wouldn’t be hanging around with my friends. Go,” Becca said, using her hand to shoo her away. “Go and have fun. That’s what you came here for.”

  ✥ ✥ ✥

They boarded the boat after signing the manifest and introducing themselves to the captain. They paid a couple of dollars for a bag for their fish, the deckhand telling them it was bad luck not to get one.

“Do you ladies want to enter the jackpot?” the young deckhand asked.

  “What’s the game?” Kelly asked.

“Actually, we have several, and they’re all easy. The first is for the person who catches the first fish of the day, the second is for who catches the biggest, and of course we have the upchuck.”

“The upchuck?” Matt asked, her stomach already having an idea of what that game was.

“The first person to upchuck, of course.” The man laughed and Kelly joined him.

“How much in the pot?” Kelly asked.

  “Twenty dollars each game.”

“We’re in,” she said, pulling her wallet out of the satchel and handing the man six twenty-dollar bills.

“You didn’t have to pay for me,” Matt said after the man scampered away in the direction of the other passengers.

“I said this day is my treat, and I meant it. Let’s get settled,” she said, pointing toward a pair of deck chairs. “I’m sure the captain will give us the safety briefing and what to expect for the day.” Kelly was right, and after the captain’s briefing, they headed out of the bay and into the open water.
