The Devil's Whisper Page 24

by T. H. Moore

“What the fuck are you doing?” he hissed. “You’ve read my rap sheet and know my interests.”

Dr. Peña looked Charles up and down before shifting away from him in her stool. She placed her hands on the wooden table. He could feel her observing him, not as a man, but as a subject in an experiment.

Just then, a merchant pushing a cart lost his grip, and his merchandise came crashing onto the dirt road. When Charles swung his head around, Dr. Peña reached for a handful of the bulge forming in his pants.

“Yes, I read your rap sheet,” she said softly, holding his genitals. She positioned her other hand at the center of his back.

Charles wanted to resist, but the chills running through his body compelled him to remain in her grasp.

“Your body hasn’t caught up with your mind yet, but it will,” she promised. Then she pulled herself so close that she could smell the tea on his breath. “You’ll soon see what I already suspect is happening to you. Your physiology is changing.”

They both looked at the burgeoning erection in his pants.

“How else can we explain my ability to arouse you, when all you’ve lusted for previously are children?”

Charles broke eye contact. The experience of shame over his desires had never affected him this way.

“Originally, I told the warden that I suspected you might become intellectually flawless,” she said, hitting peak excitement. “But I may have spoken too soon. Never did I consider that we may have unlocked the key to a human becoming flawless in totality.”

Charles looked at her, feeling insulted and demeaned. “You think you can fix me, my desires?”

She smiled and gave him a soft squeeze. “I’ve brought you this far, haven’t I?”

  To be continued…
