His Mate’s Seduction
Sara had a lot of thinking to while Zameer was away. She had found all the information on mates in Abison that she had saved onto her laptop.
After reading through it all and applying it to her current situation, she realized that Neil was right. Zameer did believe she was his mate. And he would claim her as mates were supposed to do.
If it had been any other person, Sara would have been terrified at the thought. She didn’t want to be possessed by anyone. But with Zameer something akin to firecrackers were going off in her belly. She felt warm and tingly all over, imagining the moment when Zameer bit her and marked her officially as his own.
Was she feeling the pull of the mating bond as well? Sara was Human and wouldn’t feel it as strongly as Zameer. But she was attracted to him. That had to mean something, surely?
The attraction was mutual and Zameer identified her as a mate. Was there a subconscious level in her that recognized it as well?
Sara wanted to find out.
So she set about getting everything ready. She found food she recognized in the kitchen and setting about cooking it, preparing a dinner that was on the crispy side, a little more than she would have liked.
Then she showered and dressed in the only dress she had brought with her, a little black dress with straps and showing a decent amount of cleavage. If Zameer’s jaw didn’t drop when he saw it, he can’t be a warm-blooded species.
She was putting things on the table when Zameer finally came through the door. He stopped as the door slid closed behind him and stared, his eyes widening. She saw his nostrils flare and heard a slight growl. She grinned and gave him a twirl.
“What do you think?”
“Wow.” Zameer’s voice was warm with approval. “Very wow.” He looked at the table. “What’s all this?”
“I thought I’d make us dinner for our first evening here.” Sara bit her lip. “My way of saying thank you.”
“You didn’t need to.” Zameer smiled and approached her, kissing her cheek. “But thank you.”
Sara hid her disappointment that he didn’t kiss her as she wanted him to and urged him to sit. But Zameer was insistent on helping her sit, drawing her chair out, before he sat himself. Then he sat and they began to eat.
Sara hadn’t eaten anything since waking up that morning and that had been a protein bar. Compared to that, her slightly burnt dinner was delicious.
Zameer seemed to think so as well; he wolfed it down almost as if he wasn’t chewing. Sara wondered how he managed to put it all away and where was he putting it all.
She hadn’t seen him work out on the shuttle but they didn’t spend every waking moment together. He had a body could rival an Olympic swimmer’s. And there was no indication that the fat was going to make a dent.
When they finished, Zameer sat back and sighed in content.
“That was delicious. Abisons learn to cook as soon as they’re able to hold a spoon and that could easily rival them.”
“Even if it was a little bit burnt.”
“I love things being burnt.” Zameer grinned and stood, taking the plates away to the kitchen. “Thank you for that, Sara.”
Sara blushed. She wasn’t often in the kitchen preparing meals like this but if Zameer was happy with her cooking, she would happily do it every day.
She stood as Zameer put their dishes away to be cleaned and came back to join her, smoothing her hands down her skirt.
“What do you fancy for dessert?”
“What have you got?”
Sara shrugged.
“Depends what you want.”
She knew exactly what she wanted for dessert but Zameer needed to come to that conclusion on his own. Zameer’s eyes glowed a deeper red as he looked down at her, his eyes lingering on her breasts. His voice came out in a growl.
“I can think of something.”
“Something like…?”
“This.”
Grabbing her waist, Zameer pulled Sara against him and kissed her. Sara melted against him and pressed back, slipping her arms around his neck as Zameer’s hands drifted over her backside and squeezed.
His fingers then began to gather the material up until Sara felt his hands running over her panties. The warmth of his hands made Sara moan.
Zameer pulled away from the kiss and stared down at her. His eyes were so red they filled the whites of his eyes as well. But the only reaction Sara felt as she looked back at him was her core pulsating. She couldn’t get enough of the look he was giving her; like he wanted to eat her up.
Sara was more than happy to oblige. She dug her fingers a little into the back of his neck, making Zameer snarl.
“Don’t stop.” She ordered. “Don’t even think about stopping.”
Zameer grinned.
“I won’t.”
Then he kissed her again, this time with such a ferocity Sara gasped. She clutched on to him as Zameer unleashed something inside him that had his control stretching thin. Lifting her onto the table, he spread her legs wide to step between them, still kissing her.
His hands were everywhere as Sara’s hands went to his shirt. As she unbuttoned it, Zameer was touching her shoulders, her waist, her breasts.
His thumbs rubbed over her nipples and Sara squealed. Her nipples had always been very sensitive and Zameer only had to exert some pressure before she went off like a rocket.
Cupping her breasts in his hands, Zameer then moved to her back and slowly unzipped her dress, tugging the bodice down to her waist. By then, Sara had his shirt open and she pulled back to stare at his body. She had seen it bare before but never like this. So she did what she had wanted to do since the first time she saw his body.
Tugging him close, she kissed his chest over his heart, her fingers dancing over the ridges of his stomach. Zameer groaned and pulled away, shrugging out of his shirt.
Then he pushed her suddenly, gently laying her on her back. A quick tug and Sara’s dress was completely gone, as were her panties.
Then Zameer stepped back and stripped out of his pants, covering her body with his before Sara could get a good look at him. She wanted to lie there and drool over his naked body, knowing that now it was hers.
But she was aching for him. Slow, sensual lovemaking would have to wait. She needed him now.
Gently pushing him off her, Sara rolled onto her stomach and slid off the table, leaving her top half on the table with her breasts pressed against the cold wood and her hands grasping the sides of the table. She spread her legs and glanced over her shoulder at Zameer, rolling her hips against his pelvis.
Zameer’s eyes glowed. With a growl, he grabbed her waist and kicked her legs out even wider. His cock brushed against her entrance and Sara whimpered. He was big, a lot bigger than she thought it was be. She couldn’t wait to have him inside her.
Zameer took one hand and grabbed hold of her leg. Sara squeaked as he hoisted it up onto the table, opening her up even more, and took hold of her hip again. She was barely prepared when he thrust deep inside her.
The angle was amazing. Sara hadn’t experienced it like that before. Her orgasm hit her so expectedly that the room started to spin and bright lights flashed behind her eyes.
Zameer held onto her tightly and pulled out until only the tip of his cock was inside. Then he thrust again.
He built up a rhythm pretty quickly, a hard, fast rhythm that Sara could only hang on to the table; she was pretty much immobile. And Zameer was showing his strength. But Sara didn’t want to move.
She was enjoying the sensation of the angle of his cock too much. It had already sent her to one orgasm and another was rapidly building.
She wasn’t the only one enjoying it. Zameer’s moans were enough to set Sara off, his hands flexing over her hips. He hammered into her, their hips slapping together and his balls hitting Sara’s clit.
Sara couldn’t stop herself from keening, a tingling heat starting in the small of her back and spreading out.
r /> So when her second orgasm hit, Zameer’s not far behind her, Sara didn’t try to stop it. She let it take her over as she screamed Zameer’s name. She was still screaming even as Zameer thrust one last time and filled her with his seed, leaning over to hug her from behind. The sensations were strong and Sara didn’t want them to stop.
She was still trembling when Zameer finally pulled out of her and gathered her into his arms, lifting her off her feet. He grinned when Sara squealed.
“I think we need somewhere a bit more quiet, don’t you?”
Sara smiled back lazily, leaning her head against his shoulder. She didn’t really care as long as she was able to do that again.
#
The next month passed by like a dream. Zameer took Sara everywhere in the city. They visited all of the regular sites, went to eat in various restaurants and saw many of Zameer’s friends.
They were a little apprehensive about having to be in the company of a Human but once they saw how happy Zameer was they relaxed. Now they saw Sara as one of their own.
Zameer had even taken her to see her parents. They had been pleasantly surprised to see that Zameer was with a Human but they were warm with Sara from the beginning.
Neither of them showed any hostility and were delighted that she was a scientist. His father, especially, had been eager to discuss anything scientific with her. Sara had been more than happy to oblige.
The best part of it all, in Sara’s opinion, was the sex. Zameer was certainly hot between the sheets and he knew things Sara didn’t think were even possible.
He kept her in a high state of arousal all day with a simple touch, a smile or a look that heated her all the way down to her toes. And then as soon as they were in his quarters, he was dragging her to bed and following through on his promises.
Sara found herself reluctant to leave the bed once they got into it and Zameer was more than happy to stay there.
Unfortunately, somebody had other ideas. It started out small at first. Zameer was ordered to return to work as commander for the royal security detail. That wasn’t even his job description but Zameer said he went wherever he was needed.
Then he was needed at work more and more until he pretty much fell into bed exhausted. By that time he and Sara were already sleeping in the same bed so all he had to do was roll Sara over so they could fall asleep in each other’s arms.
Sara didn’t need to guess who was doing it. Tiria was angry. She didn’t like Zameer spending so much time with a Human and was trying to find excuses to keep them apart. Zameer knew it, too, but he couldn’t argue against it.
Sara had to grit her teeth and escape when she could, usually going to Zameer’s parents or friends and spending the day with them. They were understanding and assured her Tiria doesn’t have a hold over Zameer and that it wouldn’t be for long.
Sara had a feeling it would go on as long as Tiria thought she could keep them apart.
But it hadn’t worked. Zameer’s decision to bring her to Abison for a month had worked. She was in love with him and didn’t want to leave.
Living in close proximity to a queen who hated her was a small price to pay. Sara hadn’t thought of work just yet but she was sure someone would give her a job. If Tiria didn’t stick her claws in.
Sara had told Zameer’s parents she wanted to stay and they were delighted. She had spoken to Zameer’s friends and they were approving.
They even joked they would beat Zameer up if he didn’t ask her to stay. The only person, so far, she hadn’t told about her plans was Zameer. And Sara wanted to wait until the right moment.
The only problem was there was never a right moment. Zameer left before she woke up and came to bed and fell right to sleep long after she had gone to bed. If they didn’t share a bed she wouldn’t think they lived in the same place. Sara made a mental note to speak to King Deva shortly. Talking to Queen Tiria about it would be a waste of time.
But first, Sara had two people who needed to know. One who was important enough to share the news and the other was just a courtesy. She didn’t want Neil to get into a mess with that woman. That wasn’t his fault.
It took a while but Sara managed to get both her parents up on her iPad at the same time on a split screen. Neil was at the office, Fiona looked like she was in her apartment. A towel was wrapping around her head and she was wearing a bathrobe. She looked hungover.
Great. Just what she needed. But Sara managed to keep herself bright.
“Hey, Dad. Fiona.”
“Hey, darling.”
Neil’s greeting was warm. They had talked every day since she left Earth. But Fiona hadn’t seen or spoken to her since she left. Her mouth was open and her eyes were wide in stunned amazement.
“Sara!” She squealed. “Baby girl, you’re not dead!”
Sara rolled her eyes.
“Oh, come off it. You seriously didn’t believe Zameer’s joke, did you?”
“That was a joke?” Fiona frowned. “A pretty mean joke, if you ask me.”
“You would believe a rumour about the Abisons and not the real thing. Zameer just played on it to get you to leave me alone.” Sara giggled. “I’m not in charge of his sense of humour, though.”
“You did ask for it, Fiona.” Neil grinned.
“I did not!” Fiona cried. “When are you coming back?”
Sara glanced at Neil. He would be expecting it, in a way. He knew about mates. This was more for Fiona’s sake with Neil as a buffer. He was important but this was more for Fiona’s sake.
“I might not. I’m thinking on staying.”
Fiona’s eyes went wide. Then she screamed so loudly Sara’s ears were ringing.
“WHAT??? You staying there? Why? Are you insane?”
“I’m amazed I’m not after you dragged me up.” Sara said wryly.
Neil raised an eyebrow but kept quiet. Fiona, on the other hand, spluttered.
“How dare you? Neil, she shouldn’t be talking to me like that. I’m her mother!”
“She’s not saying anything we don’t already know.” Neil said blandly. “If you had brought her up, I would be telling her off. But Sara’s a grown woman, Fiona. Let her go what she wants.”
He winked at Sara, who smiled back. Fiona wasn’t having it.
“But she can’t! She’s my baby!”
Sara sighed. She hadn’t been a baby for some time now. Fiona was determined to hang on to the fact she had a smart daughter as a scientist and they were close. She would lose face with her friends if she told them her only daughter was on another planet intending to stay. That would never do.
“You neglected babies, Fiona, not adults.” Sara couldn’t help but sneer. “And you certainly neglected me.”
“I never did! I…”
But Sara wasn’t interested in hearing any more excuses. She hung up Fiona’s side and expanded Neil’s side to full screen. She sighed.
“You talk to her, Dad. I’m not interested.”
“I’d rather not but I’ll see what I can do.” Neil paused. “Zach’s been trying to get on site. He doesn’t believe you’re not here.”
Sara had expected him to do that. Zach hadn’t been one to take her word for anything; he had to find out for himself.
“Have you called the police?”
“Yes.” Neil grinned. “There’s a new Abison male in charge of the police force. We get on really well now. He was more than happy to keep Zach in the cells for a couple of days every time he tried to break in to your apartment.”
Sara laughed. Before Zameer had come along Neil would have avoided the Abison like the plague. Not anymore.
“They’re not so bad, are they?” She teased.
“No, they’re certainly not.” Neil sighed. “I’m glad you’ve made a decision, Sara. But promise you’ll come and see me?”
Sara laughed.
“That was never in question, Dad.”
She was going to miss her father but she would be with Zameer. That would more than mak
e up for not seeing her father every day. And it was infinitely better than being anywhere near her mother.
The Plot
Sara awoke suddenly. She thought she heard something. Sitting up, she strained her ears. But there was no sound. Nothing out of place, anyway. Maybe she was just jumping as shadows.
Zameer’s side of the bed was still empty. Sara didn’t like seeing it like that. Zameer was being taken even more from her side to the point he didn’t come back anymore.
The only time she had seen him in the past two days, she had been shocked at how worn out he looked. If he carried on as he was he was going to keel over. But Zameer’s schedule wouldn’t let him have a break.
Sara was sure Queen Tiria had a specific look at his timetable and fitted it the way she wanted. She was surprised the queen hadn’t put blocks in the day that said ‘time for sex’; the damn woman had pretty much done everything else.
It felt like a petty argument in the school playground. And Sara wasn’t about to argue over it all. Zameer was worth it but she wasn’t going to be dragged into a catfight with the queen; she was guaranteed to be the loser, whether she won or not.
She wished Zameer were there. He could hold her and make things better. But she barely saw him now. While Sara understood this might be their life once they were together officially, this was ridiculous.
Zameer was working too much and everyone was commenting on it. Everyone was worried and his parents were scared he was going to drop down dead.
But Tiria was a force to be reckoned with. She didn’t listen to anyone. The only one who got through to her was the king and it didn’t seem to sink in even then. It was frustrating that nobody could get her to stop. It was like she was that determined to keep Sara and Zameer apart she would rather Zameer drove himself to an early grave.
Sara was worried that Tiria was going to do something stupid. She was already gossiping to several of her personal guard. After perusing the grounds that morning, Sara had come upon Tiria was one of her guards in an embrace.
Sara had managed to stay hidden but had overheard them discussing the king and when the best time would be for them to kill him. Tiria had promised it would happen soon and not to worry, she would take care of it. Then she had gone back to pawing the poor man as they kissed like their lives depended on it.
