Torkel's Chosen: A World Beyond Book 1

“The soku has made you very aroused.” He sounded concerned.
“Please, Torkel, please.” She didn’t care about the drink he seemed focused on.
His features intensified. “Don’t worry, Faye. I’ll take care of you. You won’t regret choosing me.”
When his fingers plunged deep, Faye cried out. Her feelings and pleasure were magnified. Each stroke of his rough fingers had her climbing higher and higher. “Don’t stop.”
She twisted on the bed, dislodging the sheets under her. Torkel slid his hand from between her legs and lowered her to the bed. “I want to taste you, Faye. It’s all I can think about.”
He spread her limbs wider and made room for his shoulders as he stretched out in the space he’d created. Faye bent her knees, ignoring their slight wobble. Torkel’s head dipped and his tongue lapped at her folds. Her head snapped back on the pillow and she had to grit her teeth against the pleasure cascading through her.
Every lap and lick had her hips pumping in the air. Her attempts to get as close as possible to his wicked tongue failed. Torkel held her down, subject to his mercy with his arm over her waist. Pleasure oozed from the top of her head to the tip of her toes.
“Don’t stop, Torkel,” she begged. “It feels so good.”
He groaned against her and the vibrations ratcheted up the intensity. Faye moaned and gripped the sheets tight for fear of jerking his head into her center. When he lipped at the button of nerves she arched off of the bed with a scream.
Her thighs squeezed his head as she thrust uncontrollably in the throes of her release. After the waves slowed, Faye’s hips hit the bed with a thud. Her breath came out in pants as Torkel stroked her thighs and pushed them down against the mattress with a firm hand.
“Oh my!” She didn’t have words.
He grinned and ran a hand down her shivering side as small aftershocks continued to rake down her spine. “My Chosen and I will get along well.”
Faye snickered at the arrogance glinting down at her. Torkel rose from the bed and removed his pants. His hand gripped and stroked his arousal. Faye licked her lips and pushed up onto her elbows. She hadn’t been with many men but he was bigger than the few she’d seen.
Unable to resist her curiosity, she stared and took note of the differences. His bullet shaped crown narrowed to a firm stalk. Small rings lined the length from beneath the tip to base where his round sack rested. Other than the rings, he looked the same as any human man.
Torkel released himself and crawled over Faye. “Am I so different from those on Earth?”
She shook her head.
“Will I hurt you if I pleasure you with penetration?”
Faye’s gaze flew to his in embarrassment. His question was honest. “I think everything’s the same. Except the rings,” she added.
Torkel lowered his weight and kissed her forehead. “They are for you. My body is designed to bring a woman to release as many times as needed.”
The flush spread from her cheeks to her breasts. Heat exploded in her loins. She cleared her throat. “How?”
He placed another kiss on the tip of her nose. “I prefer to show you.”
Without further warning, his hips rocked against her and the smooth tip glided through her moist entrance. He continued the slow sensuous pump, arms braced at the side of her head while he stared down at her. Inch by inch he entered her until he was seated to the hilt.
Faye grabbed his waist. She swore she could feel the rings the deeper he went. Each ridge brushed against her inner flesh and rubbed her sensitive nerve endings. Faye moaned. “I see what you mean.”
It was like having an elaborate sex toy with all the works. Faye hiked her legs higher, needing him. “Faster, Torkel. Give it to me fast and hard.”

Torkel couldn’t believe the words of his Chosen. He thrust hard and her eyes closed. When he did it again, she moaned and grabbed him. “I can’t believe how good you feel.”
Her slurred words had him smiling even as he tensed above her while she tested his control with the sweet undulations of her body. Mouth parted and beautiful breasts flush against his chest, Torkel didn’t think he’d last. The warm heat of her clasped him in a firm grip with each stroke.
His hips rose and fell as the heat uncoiled in his belly. Muscles tight, he lowered his head and kissed her. He couldn’t get enough of her taste. His tongue teased until she nipped his bottom lip. Her teeth pressed down then released him. The smile on her face and the gleam in her eyes warmed his heart.
“Temptress,” he murmured.
“Only with you it seems.” The teasing in her voice matched the delight in her eyes.
Torkel’s heart tumbled and the words came out before he could stop them. “I’m never letting you go.”
She clenched on him in a move that sent ripples over his sensitized rings. Torkel arched back and sped up, pumping faster into her core. She cried out, her nails digging into his back.
“Gods, Faye.”
He could feel her sucking him in. Her slick flesh reluctant to release him with each stroke. Pleasure boiled up his spine and he had to close his eyes as the need to explode ripped through him.
“Stay with me, Faye.”
“More, Torkel. I need more.”
Faye’s heels kicked against his back as her impassioned pleas filled his ears. As impossible as it was, Torkel slowed. He had to have the words. He steadied himself on one arm, pulling out enough that only his tip teased her soaked entrance. “Promise me, Faye. You’re my Chosen. Stay.”
Glazed brown eyes stared back. “I promise.”
Satisfaction coursed through him. She would remain his. His body resumed the pleasure it sought. Torkel rammed back into her and erupted with a roar. Faye clamped down on him extending the sensations of white hot lightning then screamed once more. Torkel collapsed atop her, every breath torn from him. His chest pounded out an unsteady rhythm. When he pushed up on his elbows, her eyes were closed, while her head tilted to the side. She’d fallen asleep.
Torkel released the breath he’d been holding. His hand trembled as he grazed his fingers lightly over her round cheeks. His. His to protect. His to care for.
He would give Faye what he’d never given another. His vulnerability. The man beneath the Jutak warrior who craved a sliver of the love he saw others give to one another.
Chapter 7
Faye woke in the morning with a low pitched moan. Her stomach tumbled and heaved forcing Faye to scramble from the bed. In her haste she bumped over the man in bed beside her.
“Faye, what is it?”
Eyes wide, she clapped her hands over her mouth. She didn’t know where to go. Torkel seemed to understand her dilemma and jumped from the bed, shoving a door open. “The cleansing room is through here.”
Faye hauled ass and made it in time to what she hoped was their version of a toilet. Afterwards, she slumped to the floor and leaned against the wall.
“Are you feeling better?” Completely naked, Torkel crossed the room and squatted next to her.
Faye’s gaze dipped to his awesome package then flew back to his face. “I’m fine. A little.” Which was true.
He wiped her face with a wet cloth. The cool texture settled her further. Now that she’d emptied the contents of her stomach, she did feel better. And hungry. Her stomach growled and she clamped her arm around her middle.
Torkel smiled and rose to his feet. “Come.” He extended a large palm in her direction. “I’ll call for food.”
Faye placed her hand in his and allowed him to help her to her feet. “I need to brush my teeth.”
He used his free hand to rummage through a sleek cabinet mounted over a stainless steel basin. The rectangular device he handed her had a hole at one end and bristles on the other. Torkel demonstrated its use by sliding it over her forefinger and pressing the base until it buzzed.
“Nifty.”
He released her hand to wave his palm in front of a plastic black circl
Faye took care of her breath and teeth then set the neat toothbrush on the rim of the basin. When her weight shifted, she realized she wore a man’s white long-sleeved button down shirt with only two buttons done up. She grabbed the ends and tugged the hem down, though the material came well pass her thighs.
Torkel noticed her actions as he grasped her hand again and led her back into the bedroom. Apparently he liked dragging her around. “Your things arrived last night but you insisted on wearing my shirt to sleep.”
Faye glanced at him and his red cheeks. “I’m sorry if I was difficult. I don’t know what came over me.” She didn’t drink alcohol often and when she did, Faye was a harmless drunk who became klutzy from what she recalled. Last night had been different.
She frowned, pulling forth the hazy memories. An image of her begging Torkel and climbing all over him came to her. “Oh no!”
He glanced at her while standing near an electronic black box with flashing lights on a sleek desk. He hit one of the switches and spoke into a speaker. “Send food for my Chosen and I.”
“Yes, Torkel.”
He flicked the switch back and the blinking lights stopped. When he approached, Faye backed up until her thighs hit the edge of the bed. He stopped inches away. “I don’t mean to frighten you.”
Sincerity gazed back at her from his deep brown eyes.
“I’m not frightened.” A lot. “I was all over you last night.”
He sighed. “Do you have regrets?”
Now that she could answer without doubt. “No.”
“Good. We should talk. Last night wasn’t a good time to discuss our situation. No one expected you to react…”
“Horny,” she cut in with a self-deprecating smile. It wasn’t in her to blame him for her actions. The drink had been offered when she was thirsty and if they weren’t used to humans how would they have known?
“Yes, horny.”
He braced his hands on his hips and Faye tried. She really did. But in no way could she stop her eyes from dropping down and studying her new husband’s body.
Her attention focused on his genitals. She remembered distinctly having a conversation about the differences between human men. “You’re not Enotian?”
“No. I was raised by Enotians but my origins are Marenian.”
The brochures talked about Marenians. Slavers. Faye gasped. It was one of the other reasons she’d discounted selecting him. “You keep slaves?
“No,” he roared, taking a step back. “I would never enslave another.”
Faye winced from the volume of his statement. “That’s good.” She glanced down at his ringed shaft and it thickened beneath her gaze.
“I should dress.”
Faye moistened her lips. “Um…yes. If we’re to talk without distraction.”
He turned away to open the middle drawer of a dresser built into the wall. The flex and pull of his tight ass had her swallowing. Torkel pulled out a pair of black drawstring pants and donned them without boxers or briefs.
Faye sent a quick thanks heavenward.
“How am I a distraction?” he asked when he turned around. The bulge had grown substantially and the fabric looked stretched to the limits.
Faye didn’t answer immediately. Was he serious? A man as attractive as him had to have women all over him. It surprised her that he’d still been available during the debacle at the arena.
He ran a hand through his shoulder length hair. “How am I a distraction?”
“Because you’re a delicious hunk of man,” she blurted and waited for his reaction.
He stilled, his hand falling to his side. Their eyes met across the expanse of the bedroom. Torkel folded his arms over his chest and tipped his head to the side. “I didn’t understand everything but you’re complimenting me.”
This time it wasn’t quite a question but the brief flash of insecurity gave her pause. Maybe he was as nervous as she was about their new start together. Faye nodded.
He reached up and grasped the medallion in his hand. “I’m honored that you find me pleasing, Faye. I…I have longed for a woman of my own. To have a Chosen is a gift and I vow to care for you.”
Faye rubbed at her eyes to force tears back at his pledge. Everything in the last few weeks was worth it to bring her to this point. With tentative steps she closed the distance between them. Her arms wrapped around his waist. His big body tensed but she laid her head on his chest and hugged him tightly. The thump of his heart beat a reassuring rhythm under her cheek.
Torkel’s arms took a while but came around her and pulled her up tight against him until only the tip of her bare toes touched the floor. They must not have hugs as he squeezed the breath from her. He rubbed his face against her hair.
The knock at the door broke them apart.
“That will be breakfast,” Torkel rumbled above her.
Faye reluctantly let him go, her hands adding a firm pat to his taut abs before moving out of his way. Torkel stared as if unsure what to make of her. Faye dug her toes into the carpet to keep from fidgeting.
Finally, he took her hand in his. “Come.”
She followed him into another room. Unlike the bedroom where Torkel’s bed took up most of the space, his living area was huge and practically empty. Low slung couches in red backed up against white walls but no tables or pictures added to the decor. Sliding doors led to a stone balcony which faced off toward city lights and other buildings. The morning sun sent shafts of light throughout the room. Faye headed in that direction while Torkel opened the front door.
She undid the latch and slid the glass to the side. Her feet made contact with the rough stone floor and Faye wished she’d brought her shoes out. She tilted her head up and closed her eyes as the warmth of the sun heated her skin.
On Earth the bio dome kept anyone from feeling true heat. Going outside without protective layers became hazardous after the ozone layer deteriorated. Scientist around the world had eventually finished a protective dome that projected from strategically placed satellites around the planet.
Enotia didn’t seem to have that problem.
“Would you like to eat out here?”
Faye spun on her heels. Torkel leaned against the door jamb, hands in his pockets and an indulgent smile playing about his mouth.
He really was handsome. Gold skin stretched taut over a defined chest, smooth torso with a six pack that Earth men would envy. The cotton pants hung loose on his waist hinting at the powerful flesh it hid.
Faye knew first hand about what those pants hid. “Yes. If it’s okay with you.”
He straightened. “It pleases me to make you comfortable, Faye.”
Torkel left to return with a large pillow at least four feet wide. He tossed the blue accessory on the floor and left again. When he returned, he carried a large dish laden tray. Faye scooted away from the railing but Torkel directed his head at the pillow. “We will sit and eat there.”
Faye went down to her knees and rested on her haunches. Torkel balanced the tray and joined her. He set the tray beside him with a rattle and spread his legs wide. “Would you sit with me, Faye and allow me to feed you?”
At his unusual offer, her cheeks burned. “Is this cultural?”
He cocked his head to the side. “I want to touch you while we eat and talk if it doesn’t offend.”
How sweet. She could grow to like their ways. Faye slid over until she sat between his legs, her back to his chest. The tails of the shirt shifted, revealing more leg than she was comfortable flashing. Faye pushed at it but Torkel placed the tray over her lap. His thick arms bracketed her as he pointed to each item.
She didn’t recognize anything but she’d expected that when she made the decision to leave her world to take up residence with an alien on another planet.
Faye tasted everything he slid on the small white plate. Most of it was fruit of some sort. The meat made her nervous but after her first bite, she eagerly accepted more. She cleaned her plate and noticed he put a dent in the portions as well.
When she could eat no more, Faye leaned back against him with a sigh of contentment.
“Did you have enough?” he asked.
“Absolutely.”
“Good. We should talk about our union.”
Since Faye agreed, she peeked over her shoulder and spoke. “I think that’s a good idea to get to know each other better. What do you want to talk about?”
“First, I would apologize for last night. If my men had known your reaction to soku, they would not have given it to you.”
Faye waved her hand. “Live and learn.”
Torkel tucked her hair behind her ear. “You have a generous heart, Faye. Some women would not be so forgiving. If you’re up to it, Jaron would like to apologize also.”
“It’s really not a big deal, Torkel.” And Faye preferred to forget her embarrassing performance.
“Your things arrived last night and I placed your clothing in the drawers and closet with mine. If you need space or would like to purchase additional items, I can make funds available.”
Faye thought of the twenty thousand she now had in her account. Hopefully she wouldn’t need his money. “I’m fine unless there’s a dress code I don’t know about.”
Faye thought of the ugly clothing she’d been given for the choosing and hoped it wasn’t the norm.
“I will set you up with access to my communicator. It has video logs and you can view anything of interest to you.”
“That sounds reasonable.”
Torkel lifted the tray and moved it to the side. His hands curled around her middle and he hugged her close. His head lowered to whisper in her ear. “I have longed for a Chosen for the last seven years. You can not know the joy in my heart to have you here. If I do something you disagree with, be honest and tell me.”
Faye tensed but he continued in that deeply graveled voice. “I value honesty and integrity the most. My job is a dangerous one where I see the worst atrocities committed by people. It will be a relief to come home to your goodness, Faye.”
