As I turn, I fix my gaze directly on Olivia and her eyes are pleading with me to stay quiet. She’s silently begging me to ignore what’s happening here, but I can’t do that.
This is the moment that I’ve been waiting for since I found out who she was.
“Welcome to the family, little sister.” I dead pan and my heart thuds frantically in my chest. “Now the fun can really begin…” I tell her and a devilish grin creeps onto my face. I try to sound as encouraging as possible for the sake of my sorry excuse of a father and his whore, but Olivia has already sensed that this isn’t me being nice.
She’s figured me out enough to know that the dangerous games are only just beginning.
Make no mistake, Olivia Greendale will be mine, and I’m going to enjoy every last second I spend while I set to work on destroying her untarnished soul.
One way or another, little Livy and her momma are going to live to regret the day they stepped onto Egan territory.
