“You are still bleeding. You need to go to the hospital,” said my savior.
“No need. I can’t,” I said.
“Of course. Do you want me to look at it instead? Well, I am a paramedic by day,” offered my savior. “If you are willing to go back to my place, I can treat it.”
I raised my brow in interest. I had been to so many blind dates when I was younger. This mysterious man was the replicate of Xavior and on the plus side, he was a superhero instead of a villain.
Plus, a little bit of networking wasn’t going to hurt, especially when I just lost my job and wanted to go full time as a vigilante.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to,” said my savior.
“If only it is not going to be inconvenient for you,” I said.
“Of course not. Can you walk?”
“A little bit.”
“Let me help you.” My pulses raged in my blood when he slipped his tree trunk of an arm around my waist to support me. My body squirmed with the excitement of the warmth of his touch grazing my skin.
“Are you alright? Does it hurt?” asked my savior. He was so close to me, I could feel his warm minty breath brush my face, smothering me with his essence.
“A little bit,” I said, pretending to lose my balance. To be fair, feeling his presence all over me made my knees weak.
I slumped over him so that he held me tighter in his embrace. My face blushed as my pussy clenched. If it wasn’t for the leather, the alley would smell of my pussy already.
“This is so embarrassing,” I muttered.
“It’s alright. Let me help you get in my car.” I nodded as I slowly leaned my head against his shoulder, sinking myself into the comfort of his body.
I was supposed to be meeting the hottest supervillain in the world. Who would have thought I was now going home with the brooding superhero? Life could be funny sometimes.

You might say this is a sign from above, probably a subliminal message telling me to go back to the good side?
But I’d be logical and thought that this was the average financial status of a vigilante with a day job. My savior, his name was Vylan, happened to live in the same block as I did.
My brain raced to recall the faces and names of the neighbors I knew. Nothing came out. Most residents here were young college students.
I couldn’t recall anyone whose name was Vylan or any seven feet tall hunky. My curiosity was burning me from the inside. I still had no idea how Vylan looked like without his black mask.
We both knew and respected the first rule of vigilante that was no removing of face masks, even if it meant we were going to hook up real soon.
Wait, what?
Did I just say hook up?
I wasn’t really sure what Vylan thought of me. Maybe he already had a girlfriend? Maybe he just wanted to help and had no means of fucking me in the end? Maybe he was gay?
Questions filled my head as Vylan cut open my catsuit to examine the wound.
“I need to remove the bullet. Do you trust me enough to do it?” Vylan asked me.
Sweat puddled in my leather suit. I was boiling inside and it didn’t help my leg was on Vylan and his hand was stroking my thigh, so close to my pussy.
I wondered if he could smell it. I wondered if he wanted to take a bite. My head was spinning so quickly I was drowning in my own lust.
My hand itched to reach for my phone and tell Cecily everything that happened. She could at least help me find out how Vylan really looked like through her expertise in social media investigation. I felt like in high school again and we were sharing crush secrets.
To be fair, I was never this close to Cecily in high school. This made the perfect chance for us to relive high school, hopefully with a happy ending this time–no puns intended.
“Miss Kitty?” asked Vylan again. “If you don’t trust me, we can send you to the hospital. But you have to get it out before it gets infected.”
“Okay well, I trusted you enough to follow you home,” I mouthed and swallowed the burning lump in my throat. I barely heard what I just said.
“That is true but this is going to hurt a little,” said Vylan as he started cleaning my wound with antiseptic.
I cringed as the acid burned my flesh. “That’s what he said.”
Vylan hushed me and went on gently with the scissors.
The lounge room dropped to a shrill silence when the alpha superhero maneuvered the forceps in my flesh, stretching and making way for the bullet to come out.
It wasn’t a pretty sight but Vylan looked unperturbed, his focus was laser-sharp.
I clenched my teeth and balled my fists, trying to distract myself from looking at the bloody pulp. Sweat dotted on my face and I fanned myself with my hand.
It wasn’t helping when Vylan’s arm was pressed against my crotch as he angled himself to pick at the bullet. I knew it wasn’t deliberate but my pussy protested for attention. He was so focused as though he was trying to disengage a bomb.
My breathing raced, I wasn’t sure if I was dying from the blood loss or the fact that he was killing me with his body heat against my skin. My whole body squirmed, my pussy throbbed with desire, begging to be taken by this hunky superhero.
“Are you alright? Does it hurt?” he asked.
I bit my teeth and shook my head.
“Oh, that’s good. Tell me if I hurt you.”
Damn, I was dying for him to hurt me in sexual ways.
“Just a little bit more to go.” He stretched his arms. His arm muscles ballooned up as he flexed and rolled his shoulders.
My mouth watered and I gulped greedily, craving for those strong biceps to wrap around me. My inquisitive mind wondered what he had to offer beneath that leather suit.
My wandering eyes kept traveling towards his crotch. With his legs spread wide as he sat next to me on the couch, his pants were pulled taut. His dick print was so prominent and looked massive as his junk was pressed against the tensed fabric, screaming to be unleashed.
My head was spinning so quickly I could just pass out right now. Losing bucketful of blood didn’t help either.
I massaged my forehead and focused on evening my breath. The silence was getting uncomfortable so I racked my head trying to come up with something.
Nothing but a lame topic hit me. “So you work as a paramedic as a day job?”
“Yeah.”
Okay, maybe I should let him focus. My mind wandered to Xavior, wondering what he was doing right now. I hated how much I missed his giant beast.
Now that I got a taste of him, I wasn’t sure if anything else would satisfy me anymore.
But he had to be a villain? Why couldn’t he be like Vylan right here?
I had no idea when or how my eyes were feasting off Vylan’s hot bod. The mental pictures of this brooding alpha superhero stripping me off my leather catsuit and start making out with me danced in my head.
My fingers crept up to my collarbones to pull the leather suit, trying to give my chest a bit of airing.
I couldn’t take my eyes off him. My gaze smothered over his strong, broad shoulders, his muscles chest heaving and falling gently, and the imprint of his six-packs abs pressing against his outfit.
My mouth went dry. I licked my tongue over my lips. I wished he would talk to me again. I wanted to hear his voice again, especially when he was fucking me from behind and calling my name–no stop!
I shook my head to purge out the thought.
“You okay?” Vylan froze and turned to me.
“Yeah.”
“So, what about you? What do you do?”
My head momentarily went blank. My hand itched to pull out my phone to call Cecily. “Uh, me? I am like a research scientist. I work in a lab. Pretty boring stuff.”
“That’s really cool.” His gaze lingered on my face, his blue eyes piercing into my core.
Vylan looked like in his lat
e forties, probably a little older than me. I checked his fingers and noticed no rings. Was he single? Maybe he just took them out on the job?
“I don’t think I know any scientists in real life. I thought they were fictional.”
I fought so hard not to roll my eyes. Why did he have to act like Cecily? Anyway, I wanted to jump straight right into the point. “So what’s your vigilante name? I don’t remember seeing you around.”
I knew a couple of vigilantes but we never really hung out with one another. There weren’t any clubs or memberships that we had to join.
Vylan smiled sheepishly. “I am not really that popular like you, Mysterious Kitty. It’s really an honor to meet you in real life.”
“You still have a name, right?”
“Well, a few friends call me the Beast.”
“Your friends know that you are a vigilante?” My eyes almost popped out of my skull.
“Yeah, all my friends and family know.”
“Did you know that you are putting their safety at risk?”
Vylan shrugged matter-of-factly. “Yeah, I know it’s sorta breaking the vigilante code but you know I am not really a big shot like yourself so it doesn’t really matter.”
“What about when you get famous?”
“I am not really trying to make it big. I am just trying to use my skills to pay off some bills.”
I nodded in understanding. “Yeah, me too.” Nostalgia filled me. “I still remember why I first started. I saw an ad in the newspaper offering rewards for anyone who could capture and turn in this serial rapist. I thought I would just give it a go.”
“You caught and turned him in the next day. You got the name Mysterious Kitty because you wore a catsuit.”
We both fell on the lounge and laughed.
“I didn’t think of it at all. I just thought wearing something body fitting might help during fights. And I just happened to have the cat mask from my last Halloween party. I wouldn’t have thought it would become my personal brand.”
“It’s amazing. I read about all your stories.”
“Really?” Like this hunky hot superhero had been stalking me even from before? Could we just agree that he was interested in me already?
“Yeah, you are the Mysterious Kitty. You are like the celebrity vigilante.” It felt like a dagger straight through my heart. I couldn’t forgive myself for what I did with Trixter and Xavior.
If the people knew what I did, would they still look at me the same way?
I heard a clank and saw the bloodied bullet in the metal tray. “It’s out. Now I need to stitch it.”
“You’re really good,” I said, craning my neck to check the hole in my thigh. It had at least stopped bleeding now, though the pain stung like hell. “Thanks.”
“It’s really an honor to be at your service.” I let Vylan focus on the stitches until he was done. “It’s all done.”
I lowered my leg on the floor and straightened myself on the lounge. “Thanks, Vylan. It looks perfect.”
“It will take a few days to heal. Just avoid getting it wet and remember to change the bandage every day.” Vylan dropped the scissors in the tray and wiped his hands with the antiseptic wipes.
“Sure. I hope to see you more in the city after this,” I said.
“That means there will be more crimes, right?” laughed Vylan.
“Or we can go for a drink sometimes.”
“Yeah, sure.”
What did that mean? Was he interested?
I glanced around his apartment, seeking hints. It looked much of a muchness to mine, except it was immaculately spartan. “So you live by yourself here?”
There were only three items in the lounge room–the lounge we were sitting on, a glass coffee table, and a bookcase decked with books. It looked like he just moved in and hadn’t got around to full up with the furniture.
At least he read. No photos of his potential girlfriends or signs that someone else was living here.
“Yeah. How rude am I! Do you want a drink? Something to bite?” asked Vylan, jumping up from his seat. “Uh, I don’t have much to offer. Water and chips?”
“Just water will do, thanks.”
Vylan smiled sheepishly and disappeared into the pantry. “So where do you stay? Do you need a lift home?”
He reappeared a minute later with two glasses of water. He put mine on the coffee table in front of me and drank his.
Should I tell him I was his neighbor? Oh Cecily, why couldn’t you be here for me? Oh gosh, what the fuck was wrong with me?
I had decades of dating experience but why were the fucking butterflies fluttering in my stomach right now? I couldn’t really blame myself, could I?
I mean, Vylan was really hot, despite I only saw him with his face mask on. That was better right? Leaving something to the imagination? But look at him.
His muscles poking through the tight outfit. Especially his manhood. I thought he was as big as Xavior’s, if not bigger. Sweat pooled in my catsuit as I thought of it. Not to mention, he was a fucking superhero.
Where could you find superheroes nowadays? It wasn’t like vigilante was a popular field at all. Vylan was like the replica of Xavior, only not as smooth but double as good. And plus point, he was a fucking superhero. I couldn’t emphasize this enough.
“It’s alright. I will hail a cab,” I said, barely breathing.
“Vigilante code, huh?” Vylan laughed. “So is it alright to get your number then?”
I smiled to myself. He was fucking asking for my number! That was a big sign he was interested right?
“That depends on how badly you want it,” I said, playing hard to get. I was the Mysterious Kitty, right? At least I had to pretend I wasn’t desperate, though my pussy was so drenched I needed to send my catsuit to dry cleaning.
Though I tried to muster up the best disinterested look, my heart was beating so quickly Vylan might hear it now.
“What can I do to earn it?” asked Vylan.
“Well, you have to think about it.”
Vylan somehow caught the meaning in my eyes. Our eyes interlocked for a full minute, then he turned away, avoiding my eyes. “Excuse me. I–I need to refresh myself. If you don’t mind, I’ll just be away for a while.”
My heart sank but I said nothing when he scurried from the lounge. When his shadow disappeared from my sight, I quickly whipped out my phone and texted Cecily.
Cecily! I need yo help!
Cecily replied almost immediately.
Wassup???
I glanced up to make sure Vylan wasn’t back. My fingers were trembling as I typed.
Long story short. I am at his hunky hot guy’s house.
He does the same job as I do.
Not sure if he’s interested.
What do I do now?
Ten seconds after I clicked ‘Send’, my phone rang. It was Cecily. I picked it up and whispered, “What do I do now?”
“What the fuck is going on there? Where is he now?” Cecily screamed from the line.
“He ducked away to–I don’t know–he said he’s gonna refresh himself. I don’t know what that means. Is he interested? It was all going so well and suddenly he just disappeared. What should I do now?”
“Wait, how did you suddenly end up there? I thought you were going to Xavior’s?”
“I will give you the rundown tomorrow when we meet for coffee. But right now, I want to know what to do?” My heart was racing when I glanced back every now and then, expecting him to suddenly turn up at any time.
“Hello? Hello?” I checked my phone and realized that my battery went flat. Oh good, that’s what I need right now.
How the hell was I going to hail a cab now? Maybe Vylan had a charger? It wasn’t too rude to ask him for a charger, right? That also meant I could hang out for a little longer and plan on my next move.
I chugged my glass of water and took the glass to the sink. The pain from my w
ound was already gone, except if I accidentally brushed my hand over it. That burned like hell.
At least I could walk now, without my heels. From the pantry, I heard the sound of water. I craned my neck and saw the silhouette of Vylan in the bathroom.
