Bound Together Page 11

by Lydia Rose

“Good night, Mom.” Taylor followed her mother down the hallway that led to the bedrooms. She flipped off her shoes and laid back on the bed with the phone in her hand.

“I’m sorry,” Jessica said into the phone. “I didn’t know what to say when they asked where we had met. I figured if I stuck to the truth, I couldn’t go wrong.”

Taylor chuckled. “It’s okay, Jess. Of course, my sister had a load of questions. I avoided most of them, but I’ll be with her alone tomorrow morning so the interrogation will continue.”

“What are you going to tell her?”

“The truth,” Taylor answered, wondering if she had lost her mind.

“Are you sure? They are going to think I seduced you into that room.” She took a breath. “Which I kind of did,” she said snickering softly.

“Jess, you couldn’t have gotten me into that room if I didn’t want to go. We are both adults and knew what we were doing when we walked into that room.”

“Yeah, but will your sister see it that way?” Jessica asked nervously.

“I’ve shared everything with her and her with me. Karen will be fine. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets jealous of us.”

Jessica grumbled. “To think that the day started out so well.”

Taylor laughed. “Tell me about your day.”

  CHAPTER 31

“I’m so glad you are here,” Karen said the moment she opened the door to Taylor. The baby laid in her arms fussing.

“What’s wrong?” Taylor asked coming into the house.

“The baby just wouldn’t stay asleep last night.”

“Is she okay?” Taylor asked as she took Rose from her sister’s arms.

“Yes. Unfortunately, this is typical with new babies.” Karen ran her hands through her hair. “I need a cup of coffee and a shower. Can you handle her for a little while?”

Taylor looked down at the baby who was looking up at her. “We will be fine. Go do what you have to.” The moment Karen left the room, Rose began to squirm in her arms. “What’s wrong, honey?” Taylor touched her little cheek and watched as the blue eyes followed her movements. She now picked up the pacifier that sat on the coffee table and put it in Rose’s mouth. Taylor was surprised as the little girl closed her eyes. “That’s it, honey. Take a nap,” Taylor said rocking the baby in her arms. When the baby settled, Taylor carried her upstairs to place her in the bassinet. “Sleep now, little girl.” She left the room with the baby monitor in her hand.

Taylor was nursing a cup of coffee when Karen came down the steps. “You got her to go to sleep?”

Taylor shrugged. “I think she was just exhausted.”

“Well, I hope she sleeps for a few hours.” Karen poured herself a cup of coffee and sat down. “This is harder than I thought it would be.”

Taylor laughed. “It will only get harder as she gets older.”

  “Don’t remind me.”

“It will get easier for you, Karen. I’m sure you are going to be a great mother.”

“I hope so because I felt so helpless last night.” Karen took a sip of coffee and then looked at Taylor. “So how is Jessica? Did we scare her away?” she asked still chuckling.

Taylor rolled her eyes. “No, but she was shocked speaking with you and mom last night.”

“So, are you ready to tell me the full story?”

“No,” Taylor answered. “But I know you will never stop until you’ve heard it. For my fortieth birthday, the girls from work took me to this club,” she paused a moment, “a certain type of club.”

“What kind of club? Spit it out, Taylor.”

Taylor could feel the flush on her face. “A sex club. You know, bondage and such.”

  Karen leaned closer. “Really?”

“Yes. I walked in and wanted to turn around and walk out.” Taylor shook her head. “Of course, the others wanted to stay. They were on the dance floor having a blast. I got a drink and stood against the wall.” She looked at her sister out of the corner of her eye. “That’s where I met Jessica.”

“Is that it? I thought this was going to be something I would be jealous of you about.”

  “Well,” Taylor said, then stopped.

Her sister’s head snapped to Taylor’s face. “What? What? Tell me.”

“The girls booked me a private room as part of my birthday present.”

  “A room?”

“Yeah. For privacy.” Taylor raised an eyebrow. “You know.”

“Oh,” her sister finally said. “For sex?” she asked in a whisper.

  “Yes.”

“Did you use it?” Taylor looked at her sister with a grin. “No?” Her hand went to Taylor’s arm. “You did.” It finally dawned on Karen. “You took Jessica into that room.”

“Well, it was more her idea. She wanted to see what was in those rooms.”

“What was in there?” Karen asked hanging on every word that came out of Taylor’s mouth.

“You know the movie?” Taylor watched as Karen nodded. “That on a smaller scale.”

“No,” Karen said with her hand now covering her mouth.

“It was really innocent,” Taylor said hoping her sister believed her.

“You expect me to believe that.”

“I can assure you that she didn’t tie me up and beat me.”

“What did she do? What did you do?”

Taylor blushed deep red. “We had fun.”

“How come you didn’t even get her name?”

“Because Julia drank too much and got sick. I rushed out of there and I had no idea who Jessica was. In that club, only the first initial of your name is used. I knew of her as J and me as T.”

“But she recognized you when you met again?”

“Yes. My eyes,” she said pointing to her face.

“How did you figure out who she was?”

“At first, I didn’t know why she was acting strange around me, but I heard her say something to a co-worker and I knew.”

  “What did she say?”

Taylor laughed out loud. “Holy fucking almighty. When I heard that, I knew she was J.”

“And you wanted some more of that?” Karen asked with a grin.

“We couldn’t date because she worked for the firm I hired for the software.”

“Apparently, it worked out and now you are into bondage.” Karen laughed. “Are you the submissive or is she?”

“It isn’t like that,” Taylor said again rolling her eyes. “We are having fun.” She pointed her finger at her sister. “Mom doesn’t need to hear this.”

“I’m not going to tell her. Whatever you two do in private is your business, but I may ask for suggestions after my body recovers from giving birth.”

“I’ll give you all the help you want,” she said laughing.

“You make sure when you get back down here, you bring Jessica with you.”

“If we are still together,” she said softly.

“You better be. It sounds like you finally found your match.” Karen stood up. “Why don’t you go hang at the pool at mom and dad’s house? I’m going to try and catch a nap while Rose is sleeping.”

“Are you sure you don’t want me to stay in case she wakes up?”

“Not necessary. Mom and dad will probably want to come back tonight.” She pushed her sister toward the door. “Go have some fun while you’re here.”

  CHAPTER 32

Taylor sat on the plane having enjoyed her time with her parents and sister. Everyone had insisted that when she returned to Florida that Jessica would accompany her. Her smile opened wide as she thought of seeing Jessica before the day was over. She pulled out her phone for a last-minute text before the plane began to taxi. On my way home. Can I see you tonight? Taylor didn’t expect to hear a reply before she was forced to shut off her phone, but an answer came quickly. Yes. I’ll come by your place after work. Taylor wore a smile the entire flight back to Newark Airport.

On returning to her apartment, Taylor starte
d a load of laundry and jumped in the shower. Her heart beat faster and faster as the clock indicated that Jessica would be there shortly. Sitting on the couch with a glass of wine, her mind drifted to the last time she made love with Jessica. She remembered how her skin smelled and tasted. How her hands caressed her breasts and how her mouth brought Jessica to new heights. Shaking her head, she knew if she didn’t start thinking about something else, she would be soaked by the time Jessica walked through the door.

The knock on her door caused her heart to race. Opening the door, she was met by a smiling woman. “Hey,” she said softly as she stepped out of the way so Jessica could enter the apartment.

“Hi,” she said kissing Taylor’s cheek. “So, your trip was fun?” she asked feeling self-conscious.

“Yes, and everyone wants to meet you. Would you like a glass of wine?” Taylor asked motioning for Jessica to take a seat in the living room.

“Yes, I think I need it,” she said with a grin.

“You’re nervous?” Taylor asked laughing. Jessica nodded her response. “Yeah, me too.” They both laughed easing their fears. “We are both pretty silly. It isn’t as though we’ve never met.” Taylor reached for Jessica’s hand. “I missed you.”

Jessica turned in her seat. “Oh, I really missed you too, Taylor.” She leaned closer and kissed Taylor softly. Within seconds, Taylor pulled her closer and deepened the kiss. Any fears either woman had were replaced with passion coursing through their veins.

“I know we just got back together,” Jessica said when they finally came up for air from a kiss that seemed to go on forever. “But I really want to take you to bed.”

Taylor smiled and stood up taking Jessica’s hand in her own. No words were spoken as they made their way to the bedroom. Taylor stood there slowly taking off the other woman’s clothes. As the last piece of Jessica’s outfit hit the floor, her hands came out as she undressed Taylor.

“I’ve missed seeing you and touching you,” she said as her hand came out and softly touched the underside of Taylor’s breast. “I promise not to shut you out ever again.” Her hand cupped Taylor’s chin and stared into the crystal blue eyes. “Never again.”

No other words were needed as their lips came back together tasting. They were now on the bed and Jessica was on top of Taylor allowing their bodies to touch fully.

“I’m never going to give you up, Jess. I love you.” Her words were cut off by another passionate kiss.

Tonight, only their bodies would be used to bring them pleasure. Taylor had captured her heart and she held it in the palm of her hand without the need for restraints. Touches and caresses were all that was required to bring both women to heights they had never experienced with other lovers. It was because of the love they had for each other that bound them together. The moment Jessica entered Taylor, she knew this was the way she wanted to spend the rest of her life. “I love you so much, Taylor,” she said as felt the first flutter of Taylor’s orgasm. Bringing her over the edge was something she needed to do forever.

“J,” Taylor screamed her name as her body floated in utter bliss. Her arms pulled Jessica tighter to her body. “I love you too,” she said acknowledging Jessica’s words.

After they were both sated, they laid in each other’s arms as if one or both would awake from this wonderful dream. “I don’t go back to work until Monday,” Taylor said softly as her fingers drew an invisible pattern across Jessica’s chest.

“I don’t either,” she said which caused Taylor to lift her head and stare at the brown eyes watching her.

“Will you spend the weekend with me?” she asked still watching the woman in her arms.

“My bag is in the car.”

“Why didn’t you bring it up?” Taylor asked grinning.

“I didn’t want to seem presumptuous,” she said half grinning.

Taylor chuckled. “I’m not letting you out of my sight this weekend.” She paused. “I think I could spend the rest of my life keeping you close.”

“You think?” she asked raising an eyebrow.

“No, that was wrong. I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Jess. Is that something you’d like to do?” Taylor asked still watching her eyes for doubt.

“I love you, Taylor, and I want to spend my life with you too. Forever.”

“Good. I’d hate to punish you at this point for disappointing me.”

Taylor laughed at her comment and another round of loving began. There would never be a need for punishment, but the two women would enjoy each other in all different ways because they were bound by this love.

  CHAPTER 33

Taylor and Jessica moved in together not long after their weekend together. Now six months later, they were on a plane to Florida. Taylor’s parents insisted on meeting the woman who had made their daughter so happy.

“Do you think they’ll like me?” Jessica asked grasping Taylor’s hand.

“Of course, they will. What’s not to like, Jess,” she said grinning at her future wife.

“They don’t know me like you do. Maybe they will think I’m not good enough for you.”

“Good enough?” Taylor laughed. “I’m the one that isn’t good enough for you.”

As the women walked from the gate, Taylor saw her father standing there. A smile filled her face as her hand came up in a wave. Now she was touching Jessica’s arm. “There is my dad.” Taylor chuckled at the bleak expression on Jessica’s face. “Relax, Jess and breathe.”

  “I’m trying.”

“Hi, Dad,” Taylor said reaching for her dad.

“It’s so good to have you back down here.” Sam turned to Jessica. “Hello, Jessica.” His hand came out. “I’m happy to meet you.”

Jessica clasped his hand. “I’m happy to meet you too, sir.”

Sam laughed at the frightened look on his daughter’s girlfriend’s face. “Please call me Sam.” He was now looking at his daughter who had taken Jessica’s hand. “Let’s get you two to our house so you can relax before Karen and the baby arrive.” Sam took his daughter’s suitcase and reached for Jessica’s.

“I’ve got it, Sam,” she said smiling. As they walked out of the air-conditioned airport, Jessica said, “Geez, it’s hot.”

Both Sam and Taylor laughed at the look on Jessica’s face. “Honey, it is Florida in the summer.”

“Yeah, but this is stifling.” Her hand went to her long sleeve shirt collar.

“You can jump in the pool when we get to the house,” Taylor said moving her along to the car.

The front door opened before the group exited the car. Andrea Jamison stood on the front porch with her arms open waiting for Taylor to step into them. “I’ve missed you.”

“Mom, I was here six months ago,” Taylor said squeezing her mother to her. She now held out her hand to Jessica. “Mom, I’d like you to meet Jessica Anderson.” Her smile opened wide. “The love of my life.”

“Well, that is certainly a long name,” Andrea said laughing. Now she held her arms out to Jessica. “Come give me a hug.”

“It’s nice to meet you Mrs. Anderson.” Jessica moved into her arms.

“Please call me Andrea and thank you for making my daughter so happy,” she said before releasing Jessica.

“She makes me happy too.” Jessica looked at Taylor before she was ushered into the house.

“You girls go get unpacked and then we will have lunch.”

“Okay, Mom.” Taylor pulled Jessica toward the bedrooms.

They had barely finished lunch when Karen, Chad and the baby came into the house. Taylor walked over to her sister and took the baby from her. “Oh, sweetie, you’ve grown so much.”

“Hello to you too, Taylor,” Karen said sarcastically.

“Hey, I came to see my niece. I talk to you all the time.” Taylor ignored her sister and rocked the baby in her arms.

Karen walked over to the woman standing near them. “You must be Jessica?”

  “I am. It’s nice to
meet you, Karen.”

Karen turned to her husband before he could escape. “And the man trying to leave is Chad.”

Jessica chuckled. “Too many women for you, Chad?”

He came over and shook Jessica’s hand. “It’s nice to meet you, Jessica.”

“You too, Chad,” she said before he disappeared outside. No doubt to find his father-in-law.

Andrea came into the room and took baby Rose from Taylor. “Hey. You get to hold her all the time,” Taylor said in a huff.

“Maybe Jessica wants to hold her, dear.”

Jessica began to wave her off. “No, that’s okay. I’m not good with babies.”

“Don’t be silly.” Andrea plopped Rose into her arms. “Just support her head and you’ll be fine.

Jessica looked at Taylor before looking at the baby’s face. Rose was looking up at her smiling. “You have beautiful eyes, Rose. Just like your aunt’s eyes.”

“Or her mother’s,” Karen said with her hands on her hips.

Jessica now looked at Karen closely. “Yeah. You two have the same eyes.”

“We got them from our dad,” Taylor said standing next to Jessica and touched the baby’s cheek. “Isn’t she so cute?”

  “She’s beautiful,” Jessica answered.

Karen and Andrea shared a look before Karen spoke up. “You two would make beautiful babies too.”

Taylor’s head snapped to her sister. “Karen,” she scolded.

“Hey, it was just an observation.”

Jessica spoke up this time. “It would be kind of hard for us to share our genes, Karen.”

“I know,” she said with a roll of her eyes. “You each could have a baby.”

  “Karen, please.”

“Okay. I’ll save this conversation for the next time you come down.”

Taylor and Jessica looked at each other and rolled their eyes. “Just ignore her.”

“Since you don’t want to talk about babies, how about a swim?” Karen asked as she took Rose out of Jessica’s arms.

“Have you had Rose in the pool yet?” Taylor asked as Karen picked up a duffle from the foyer.
