“You have all her knowledge, as well as Peter and Prime’s. What do you plan to do with it all?” Koenig asked.
Alpha smiled; he knew exactly what he was going to do.
“Persephone wanted to control the city, make it bend under her command. Her anger towards the city was based on her lack of control when she was a clone. I’ve seen everything this city has done to all the other versions of me, from being a clone with no choices, as well as a leading scientist at CyBio that was cast aside for my ideals. I even died protecting this city from Yuri, yet the city never welcomed me. Perhaps it’s time for a fresh start, a rebirth. From the ashes of the city, we can build a new one. But first, it must be cleansed.”
Alpha walked to the window and looked out at the chaos that was starting to brew. It was already kindling; he just needed to fan the flames.
