David was an ex-captain in the Calvary and Milly told him, “Both of my husbands were sergeants.”

Betty and Maggy came over with their girls and the four kids had a ball. David now planned all of the work with Milly, and the farm was shaping up. The plowing went on unless it rained. The boys were making good money.

David asked Milly if she wanted to be married again and she told him she did, so he asked her to be his wife. Milly told him that she would be very happy to marry him. They both got close to 1,000 dollars from those two bandits, so David had the money to buy a new suit to be married in. When they got married, all of their friends came to the church and to the dinner after. It was the biggest crowd that had ever been in that church. The priest couldn’t have been happier. He sure was happy with his new found Catholics friends.
