Toxic (The Therapist #4): An Alpha Male, Relationship Coach, Erotic Romance Page 2

by Ws Greer

  “You nervous?”

“Eh, a little,” I reply with a shrug. “It’s always a little nerve-wracking getting a new couple in because you never know what their dynamic is. I’m sure it’s the same when you have a new patient, right? You don't get a little nervous for the first session?”

“Oh, I definitely do, but you're dealing with something more difficult, I think. When you get a new patient, it’s two new patients. I don't do couples. You're being ganged up on.”

“Yeah, it’s a little bit of a gang bang,” I joke, and Evelyn giggles while wagging her fork at me.

  “Eww. No.”

I laugh before explaining further. “I understand what you mean, and I guess you're right. Dealing with two different people with different personalities definitely has its hardships, but I guess I’m used to it.”

“How do you do it, Malcolm? I heard your name probably two years before I met you, being mentioned in psychologist and therapist circles. You're very good at what you do, and people in this city definitely know it. I guess I’m just curious what makes you so good at helping other people’s relationships.”

“Ah, I see. You want to know how I’m so good at other people’s relationships, but I’ve struggled with my own.”

Both of us laugh again. “No, that’s not what I mean. Talking through other people’s problems is much easier than working through our own. I definitely understand that.”

“I know, I’m just messing with you,” I say with another chuckle. “I honestly don't know why, but it’s just something I'm good at. I think I’m fortunate to have an open mind and an infatuation with the truth. A lot of times, people just need to hear the truth, even if it’s something they don't want to hear, and it’s easier to hear it from someone they don't know.

“It’s mainly just getting people out of their own way. There are so many stigmas and taboos out there, people forget how to be open-minded because they're so busy trying to please everyone but themselves. Lies and concern for the opinions of strangers are the most common issues in my office. If I can tell people the truth and get them to stop caring about everyone else’s perception of them, I usually find success in what I'm doing, no matter who the patient is.”

“People get stuck in their heads,” Evelyn says after a sip of her white wine. “I've found the scariest place in the whole world for some people is inside their own minds. I try to think of my therapy as sort of a GPS for a patient whose mind is a maze. I’m just trying to help them find their way out, but there are so many walls and blockades up, it feels impossible.”

  “That’s a great analogy.”

“Thank you. But I’m still curious about the sex part, Malcolm,” Evelyn goes on. “You manage to fix people’s sex lives. Now that takes real skill.”

I can’t fight away my smile, and it overtakes my face. “Yes. Yes, it does. That part definitely has its challenges, but most of the time it’s the men who can't get it together.”

“I know. I’ve had a few encounters I’d love to forget. So, how do you get them on the right track?”

“By trying to teach them to be as open-minded as me,” I answer. “Lots of men are incredibly closed-minded. They think they know everything, so when things aren't right, they place blame instead of taking blame, or mix their arrogance with their insecurity and try to downplay things. They shrug off issues that are actually important to their relationship because it’s easier than being told they don't know what they're doing. My job is to get them to understand they don't know women very well, and that's okay as long as they are open to learning. The problem is that men think they know women so well, and actually don't know shit.”

Evelyn looks deep into my eyes, locking me in a trance with a smile taking over both our faces.

  “What?” I ask, grinning.

“You're incredible, you know that?” she says. “I love how brilliant you are. You're a man saying men don't know shit about women. It’s like you're an alien or something, because there is no way you can be this amazing and still be from planet Earth.”

“Oh, I’m definitely not human. I couldn't possibly be human and still be this much of a beast.”

Both of us erupt into laughter that draws the attention of some of our well-dressed neighbors, but we don't care. It feels good to laugh with her, and I won’t let strangers shut that down. Fuck society.

“Excuse me, Dr. Colson,” a voice suddenly says from behind me, followed by a light tap on my shoulder. I spin around to find an old patient of mine standing behind me with a smile on his face.

“Oh, wow. Hi, Danny,” I exclaim as I stand up to greet him and his girlfriend, Isabel. “Wow, it’s nice to see you two. How are you?”

Danny shakes my hand, followed by Isabel pulling me into a soft hug.

“We’re doing great,” Danny says while Isabel smiles next to him. “I didn't mean to interrupt your dinner. We just saw you sitting over here and wanted to come say hello. We also wanted to tell you we’re getting married.”

  “Congratulations!” I chirp.

“Yeah, November fifteenth,” Danny says with a nod. “We’re going to send you an invite because you helped us so much, Dr. Colson. You saved our relationship.”

“We talk about you all the time,” Isabel chimes in, still smiling.

“Wow, I’m really happy for you guys. You deserve all the happiness and love in the world,” I say.

“Thanks, Dr. Colson. We’ll let you get back to your evening, but be on the lookout for that invite. Have a good night.” We repeat the handshake and hug process all over again before the happy couple waves to Evelyn and walks away. When I sit down, Evelyn is smiling at me.

  “What?”

“See? You're incredible,” she says, and I see something hidden in the look on her face. Something I like. “You have this effect on your clients that resonates with them more than any other therapist I've seen. You're something special, Malcolm. I hope you know that.”

I’m not sure what to say, so I just blush in silence. It’s such an amazing change of pace to have someone compliment me for something outside of the bedroom. I really appreciate it.

“So,” Evelyn continues, dragging the word out. “I was thinking maybe we could get out of here.”

“Yeah? You done with dinner already?” I look down at her plate and see she still has just under half of her steak left, and when I look up again, I realize what’s going on. It’s not the steak she’s hungry for.

“Yeah, I’m done with dinner,” Evelyn says, biting her lip without knowing what it does to me. “I think it’s time for dessert.”

“My pleasure. Your place or mine?”

Evelyn raises one eyebrow and licks her lips. “Yours.”

  Chapter 4

  ~ MALCOLM ~

We kiss our way up the stairs. As we step, trying our best not to fall down, my body wants to pull me in the other direction. I don't mind going up, but I really want to go down—down into the basement, where all of my toys wait impatiently, begging to be played with.

In our time together, Evelyn has hinted at going into the Black House, but she can't bring herself to do it. After three months, she is still too nervous about giving herself to me completely. I understand it takes a lot of trust to let someone tie you up and hit you. One slip and everything we built could go up in smoke. So, as we reach the top of the stairs, I’m compelled by my understanding, and I anticipate the day she's ready. Until then, it’ll be baby steps, and I look forward to every one of them.

We stumble our way into the bedroom, and I don't bother turning on the overhead light. Once we enter the room, Evelyn pulls off my shirt and starts for my pants like they're on fire and she can't get them off fast enough. She moves with hunger and aggression, and the second my pants come sliding down, Evelyn is on her knees, taking me into her mouth.

I gasp like I’ve just dived into freezing cold water, except her mouth is warm and literally takes my breath away. Evelyn uses her mouth and hands to send me into a
frenzy of exclamations and convulsions as the sensation overtakes me.

“Holy fuck,” I mumble, trying to keep my composure, but it’s harder than it sounds. Evelyn moans as she sucks me, and all I can do is nod and shake my head at the same time like I’m confused.

After giving her the time she desires, I lift Evelyn up by her shoulders and pull her into a kiss. Our tongues dance together, and I’m in heaven. Anyone telling you not to kiss your woman after she takes you in her mouth or vice versa is a damn fool. I love that she tastes like me. I can't wait to taste like her.

After our kiss, I grab a fistful of Evelyn’s red hair and give it a slight tug. “Are you ready?”

Her breath is shaky with anticipation as she answers, “Yes.”

Yes. Not yes sir. I know Evelyn isn't my submissive, and we haven't established any sort of rules whatsoever, but I want it so much. I want to command her. I want to control her. I want the ability to make her come at my command. I want it so much it hurts.

“Listen to me,” I whisper in her ear as I keep my grip on her hair. “Tonight, you are mine. I’m going to drive you wild with my touch and every inch of my cock. Tonight, you’ll listen to me. You’ll surrender control and accept the pleasure I’m giving you. Tuck your fear away, because I would never hurt you or do anything you don't want to do. Trust me, Evelyn.”

I don't ask her if she understands, because I don't want to give her a chance to hesitate. Her breathing becomes heavier, and I can tell she likes what she hears, she's just anxious about it. I’m fine with anxious.

I push Evelyn onto the bed and she giggles as she bounces on the mattress. It’s adorable, but I’m in Dom mode, so I don't laugh with her. I lick my lips in anticipation of having her wetness on my tongue, and Evelyn’s smile fades in a hurry. I position myself between her knees and look up at her.

“Close your eyes,” I tell her, and she exhales before following my command.

Once her eyes are closed, I get up as quietly as I can, and grab a blindfold from my nightstand. When I place it over her eyes, Evelyn gasps.

“Relax,” I whisper. “It’s a blindfold. Its purpose isn't just to block your vision, it’s to teach you to let go and trust me. I'm not going to bind you in any way, so you can still use your hands to pull the blindfold off if you feel uncomfortable. If you don't feel uncomfortable, leave it on.”

Evelyn exhales to calm herself before settling her head onto the pillow. “Okay,” she whispers, and I smile as I secure the blindfold and slide myself back between her knees.

“Do you trust me?” I ask before doing anything else.

Evelyn lets out a breath before answering, “Yes.”

I whip my tongue out and run it across her clit, and she moans.

  “You trust me?”

“Yes,” she repeats, and I lick her again. Evelyn’s back arches as her hands move down to the back of my head and she forces me forward, but I resist.

  “You want it?”

“Fuck. Yes, I want it now. Please.”

“That’s the magic word,” I say behind a smile she can't see, and I go full throttle into her pussy.

Evelyn lets out a series of gasps and moans as I work with my tongue, kissing and sucking her clit like I’m in love with it. My tongue glides and dances as if it has its own choreography, and after a few minutes of work, Evelyn is on the verge. I don’t stop or slow down as her breathing peaks and she falls into bliss.

“Oh, god! I’m coming!” she blurts before exploding onto my tongue. Her juices soak into my mouth and I lap it up. It’s just what I have been waiting for.

Once Evelyn is released from the grips of orgasm, I lift myself up and move toward the end of the bed frame, where I slide open a drawer filled with leftover toys that didn't make it down into the basement because they’re not black. I grab a blue vibrating dildo and bring it with me as I get in position between Evelyn’s legs again. I smile when I see she hasn't touched her blindfold and is waiting for me as she tries to coax her breathing back down to normal.

“Do you trust me?” I ask again.

She clears her throat, licks her lips, and answers confidently. “Yes, Malcolm.”

I bring the vibrator to life, and Evelyn lifts her head when she hears the noise, but she doesn't remove the blindfold. I pause to give her anxiety a chance to subside, then I rub her clit with the tip of the vibrating dildo. She gasps again as her hands fist the covers.

  “Do you trust me?”

“Yes … oh, god. Yes, Malcolm.”

I slowly push the dildo inside of Evelyn’s wet pussy and watch her fists tighten around the covers. I move the dildo in and out and let the ribbed nub caress her clit. While I use the dildo on her, I move my body up so we can kiss. Evelyn’s hands wrap around the back of my head as she pulls my mouth into hers. She alternates between moans and kisses as I fuck her with the dildo, and after a few more minutes, she is rocked by another orgasm, and I revel in the sound of her screams as they escape her mouth and make their way into mine. My cock flexes with excitement as she slowly comes down and releases me from her grip.

In one swoop, I slide the dildo out and slip a condom on my cock, before flipping Evelyn over onto her stomach. She squeals with excitement, but her voice sounds exhausted. Sweat beads on her shoulders and her skin is still flushed, but I don't hold back. Once I’m in, I work hard, pounding Evelyn’s pussy with every inch of me. She feels so good and tight on my cock, it doesn't take long before I’m on the verge myself.

I position my hands between Evelyn’s legs and waist and use it as leverage to lift her ass up toward me. Her midsection is suspended in air as I fuck her with the savageness of a beast and she screams like she’s being attacked. Sweat drops off of me and lands on the bed as I fuck with everything I’ve got.

“Jesus Christ, I’m gonna fucking come!” Evelyn bellows. Her hands fly out and snatch up the pillow in front of her, and she yells into it as she comes a third time.

“Oh fuck yeah!” I growl as the sight of her coming makes me come. Both of us convulse and spasm together, before collapsing into a heap of sweat and euphoria.

The sound of ragged breathing fills the room as I pull off Evelyn's blindfold before lying on my back with my eyes closed. It takes ten minutes before either of us can move again. We take turns using the bathroom to get cleaned up, and when I come out, I find Evelyn asleep on the bed. Sleepovers aren't something we do, but seeing her on my bed wearing nothing but the shirt she pulled off of me puts a smile on my face. She’s stunning, even in her sleep and after being fucked into oblivion.

I walk over to the light switch by the door and turn on the ceiling fan so we don't start sweating again, plus the room smells like sex and needs the air. In bed, I position myself behind Evelyn and wrap an arm around her waist, and she responds by unconsciously grabbing my hand and pulling me in tighter. The last thing I remember before dozing off is breathing in the scent of her hair, and smiling.

  Chapter 5

  ~ KIMBERLY ~

“Hi, you must be Trent, and you must be Kimberly,” the therapist says upon opening his door. The first thing I notice about him is his attractiveness and confidence. He’s about six-feet tall with broad shoulders, caramel skin, and the most mesmerizing green eyes I’ve ever seen.

“Just Kim is fine,” I correct him, and while Dr. Colson smiles, I can feel Trent’s eyes boring into the side of my face. He doesn't hold his gaze long, but I feel the heat of it for the half second it’s on me.

“Okay, just Kim it is. I’m Dr. Malcolm Colson. It’s nice to meet you both. Let’s go inside and get to know each other.”

Dr. Colson’s voice is calming yet commanding. He steps to the side and allows Trent and me to walk into the room before him. The inside of his office is beautiful. A dark walnut wood desk rests in the corner of the room, with a matching coffee table in front of the black and brown couch Trent and I will sit on for the first time today. The seat Dr. Colson will occupy is a black arm c
hair directly across from the couch. He takes his seat and we take ours. The couch is comfortable with a black pillow that I instinctively grab and pull to my chest. Once we settle, the thudding of my heartbeat reverberates in my ears.

“So,” Dr. Colson begins, his eyes wandering over the two of us. I try to smile, but I don't know what expression Trent has right now, because I don't want to look at him. “What brings you in to see me?”

Neither of us respond, and Dr. Colson lets out a soft chuckle that makes me giggle a bit. I don't really know why. I guess it’s just because this is relationship therapy and we’re supposed to be talking, so to sit in silence feels silly to me. However, when I giggle in response to the therapist, Trent snaps his head in my direction and glares at me before returning his gaze to Dr. Colson.

“Okay,” Dr. Colson says lightheartedly. “Let’s start with something simple. How old are you both?”

  “Twenty-two,” I reply.

“And you, Trent?” the therapist asks.

  “Same.”

Trent doesn't sound anywhere near as cordial as Dr. Colson, which is part of why we’re here. He’s not happy, which makes me unhappy. I know he loves me, but he just doesn't seem happy these days, and I think it’s my fault. It is. It’s definitely my fault.

“Okay, cool. Twenty-two for you both.” Dr. Colson says, keeping the conversation light. “Are you married?”

“Yes,” Trent says the second the last word is out of the therapist’s mouth. “Two months.”

“Oh, okay. Well, congratulations on your recent marriage. How long have you known each other?”

Trent lets out a huff like he’s already annoyed by the questions. He didn't really want to come here to begin with, but he did it because I wanted to. I wanted to fix us, and Trent loves me enough to give me what I want. I need Dr. Colson’s help.
