It was not safe for an Omega like me, young and dainty in appearance to be hitchhiking. Trevor and Ethan had warned me of the dangers of pretty young things like me who felt the need to run away and catch a ride to a new place. Some, Ethan said, returned with scars that would never heal. And others didn’t return at all. Remembering that should’ve deterred me from my destination, but I was determined to get away from Garret! I could smell him all over me now. I wish I had perfume to disguise it. It drove me mad as the temperature started to drop and I became cold.
Why now, I thought. Why the chilliness? One car tried to stop, but his partner became jealous when seeing me. “No. I won’t have you picking up such a pretty wolf!” The Alpha obeyed. How unusual to witness. I came away from the window and walked down a little more, a little teary now when I thought back to the night of passion with Garret and how he had made me cum like no other.
My God, it was the icing that needed to melt. It was a sure-fire stirring down by my jimmy-wagon and I didn’t want to deliver myself behind a payphone. The horniness would die as I became sad. The sadness killed it for me. I had to put him out of my head! Bury Garret! Bury him whole!
An Alpha that I had seen at the lodge a few times didn’t recognize me as he just kept his head straight and drove on past with an embarrassed strain on his face. That had to be the tenth car, and I was starting to curse my luck when numbers twelve, thirteen, fourteen and fifteen did the same. I needed the green leprechaun to come and sprinkle some emerald dust on me. How can anybody’s kismet be that awful?
I rubbed my chest, smelt under my arms, cupped my palm around my mouth and blew to see if not brushing my teeth was detrimental to why heads backed off and squinted in horror. But no, everything was near enough close to hygienic. There was absolutely nothing wrong with me and they could all go to hell! And I dropped onto the ground; crossed my legs and closed my eyes.
My head was pounding from the hunger in me. And I had to get that dizziness picked from my skull and eyesight. I wasn’t too sure how long I waited there like that, but I heard the passing zoooooom of cars…and then when I thought I would hear it again, a change came in the sound of an engine that stopped. And I opened my eyes.
The Alpha that stopped wasn’t the ugly sort, he just had black patches over his face, just like a cow. They seemed like burn marks, but I didn’t stare to long at him. His hair was a low fade with the top half that was gelled-black with streaks and a short fringe. It was very short. Very fat. And his eyes had no sense of concentration. Well, he did on my nuts. And when he spoke, an unwitting chill came upon me. “What’s a cute and young thing like you doing out here so late?”
To me, a voice that toneless should be watered for air. He could pass out! “I’m just waiting for my mate to pick me up.” I had to lie.
“They should know better.” His eyes fell to my crotch again.
I tried to close my legs or knot them, so he couldn’t see a thing.
“Anybody could come and try and pick you up. Give me a number and I’ll call them up to say that I’ll drop you to where you need to go.”
“I’m perfectly fine. Thanks.”
“No. You’re not.”
I was beginning to wish I had stayed in my wolf form. But that hadn’t stopped prowlers before.
“I can wait here if you like? Come and sit by you?”
I squirmed for air, even though I was out in fresh air. This man was…he had nothing good about him. Trevor said that these types, should politely be let down. “I’m actually going to walk up ahead and call him from that payphone.” I got up. “Thanks though. For offering me a lift.”
The man said nothing. He just…creepily glared at me with no smile, a somber and past-caring-what-civilization-thought-of-him gaze was what he carried on that face of his. I started to walk. His ride started to follow, the wheels turning with a road-roller pressed-down noise. My heart quickened. But my pace didn’t. I had to maintain my composure and not show fear. I tried to. But when my eyes flicked rapidly to the left I could tell that he knew exactly what I was trying to convey. I had enough!
“Can you stop following me?” There were no other cars around.
“Get in the car.” He demanded impassively. It was an order.
“No. I don’t need a lift. But thank you.”
“Listen, I’m not asking you. I’m telling you. Get in my car or I’ll come out and fetch ya.” His brows and entire face grew darker. The shade of his car which was a cloudy grey got bigger than the four wheeled ride that it was. I felt smaller…miniature. And a part of me wanted Garret to be here. Not Ethan. Not Trevor. But the one who had hurt me recently.
I wasn’t too far from the Alpha’s car, so when he reached out to grab me and dragged me, he was strong. That tug almost had my front banging into the side of his door – I was retracting with my wolf canines and my claws that made him let go, but didn’t stop him from opening his car door aggressively on me – I bounced back, he unstrapped his belt and leaped out the car before I had time to recover from that attack and then gripped my entire bottom arm.
I scratched him again, my paw hadn’t returned to normal, but he slapped me across my face with his backhand… I flinched, which gave him time to grip the back of my head violently and sling me into his car, run to the front seat, lock it and drive off. I kicked up one hell of a riot in the back, and he would stop and throw back some slaps on me.
“You better stop it, kid. Or I’ll park this car over there and give you a lashing!”
“Let me the fuck out!” I became petrified with tremulous shakes, unable to understand why life had been so cruel to me lately. This man’s car was rinsed in tobacco and alcohol. The seats seemed soggy and the roof was peeling off. It was an old banger. The gearstick was ruddy and cranky whenever he changed gears. The brakes made an odd pzzzt, pzzzt, pzzzt sound, close to electrical and giving up. Not only was he unsafe, so was this contraption.
“Let me out!”
“Shut up! Do you hear me, shut it!”
If there was a devil, it was in the shape of this Alpha. Never had a voice, apart from Aaron, Garret’s father, made me feel so close to cutting myself. It had a vague hint of desperation and loneliness. A close to madness extinction, and no longer able to be compliant with another. This was an Alpha who had pretty much not been able to have what he desired. And now, here I was, being taken to the north that I was headed to originally. I got my lift.
I had dramatically expected a dungeon, or even murder on the highway and a sliced head on the mantelpiece. I had made my peace with everybody who had done me wrong, but found that I would have to hold off writing the will when the Alpha had taken me to a pretty normal looking home. Almost like a cottage, only smaller with a tinfoil roof and white paintwork. It was a secluded home.
There was a stick with a broken chain at the front, but no dog. A few empty kennels, a tin bath that was suffering from erosion, and some spare tires that were the same size as his wheels were piled up next to his front door. When the Alpha came to take me out, I remained silent. Said nothing and went along friendly with no complaints. It didn’t make him any gentler. Quite the opposite, it propelled him to shove me inside his door when he unlocked it with his key until I fell upon a carpet that was filthy enough to make me sneeze.
“Achoo!” I could still see the small dust particles settling.
The Alpha got me up by my shirt’s neck and I saw more of the room as he hurled me to my feet and up-the-stairs.
A few cages were in the living area, but he wasn’t taking me there. Inside was traps of all kinds like mouse, rabbits, deer, bears, a few dismantled radios. Plenty of car parts, an oily tinge and dog mess that lingered with me as the Alpha took me upstairs. His bathroom toilet hadn’t been touched. Judging by the look of his home, he had long given up on cleanliness. When we got to his room all was normal with a bed, black and white vintage TV, cd system, and a cage. I rewound that…blinked, and saw that yes, there was a cage that he was taking me to.r />
He clasped my arm and it was beginning to hurt. The keys to his cage were attached to a keychain on his car keys. The cage reached mid-length to the celling, black bars that I could fit my whole arm through, but not myself if I tried. And the only comfort it offered was being on-top of his fitted, but stained beige carpet.
“Get in!” He pushed me in and I fell again. I didn’t need laces to trip me up.
He locked it. I stayed down. I didn’t want to look at him.
“Ignore me all you want. That only makes you evergreen. I find you sexy, boy. So, it’s only turning me on more and more. You should ask me why you’re here.”
I kept inaudible.
“If you don’t ask me, you’ll only get freaked out by what I have to bring into this room.”
This Alpha must not know that only being a few inches away from him was a blackout. I still stayed lower than my mood. He was gripping the bars. It made me crawl to an early grave as I closed my eyes, like I used to do as a child, and count to five, hoping that by five the feeling of terror from the dark would go away. Ten was far too long. But five—
I counted, “One, two, three, four, five—”
“I do that to.”
I hadn’t realized I’d done this out loud. The bastard could hear.
“When I grab hold of my suede flogger whip with the strips, I count down the intensity, and make sure that it leaves a red bruise on the flesh of whom I’m doing it to. I found it quite hard to find an actual whip. So, these replicas will have to do. I think with you, I might count to twenty. Whip that ass until it bleeds.”
Whatever he was going on about, it made me yearn for home even more.
“Come – come. Talk to me. Ask me. At least give me the pleasure of telling you a small story.”
He needed to shut up, so I opened my mouth for him. “Why am I here?” I said it dryly. It seemed to add some water to his unemotional tone.
“It all began when I was voted as the most beautiful Alpha in the world.”
I cringed sharply. My eyes squeezing themselves tightly.
“And then one day, I found the prettiest Omega that never wanted the most beautiful Alpha in the room. He found that Alpha creepy! A stalker! Unattractive! Vile! And the worst of all, a bondage freak, who got turned on the most by pain and suffering done to his lovers. But that Alpha never had a lover who was ever into that, so, how could he know? He was perfect. And for months the Alpha stalked him and stalked him. And you know what, the Alpha became all the things the Omega had made up. And he even added on a new trophy to the niche, slavery.”
“You made the Omega your slave?”
“There are blood marks that I had to wipe clean. All the evidence of slavery in that cage has gone. And that Omega, well, he’s in a ward or someplace where I can no longer follow. But my depression has ended, and up pops a similar looking lad who can take his place. And I’m nice enough to ask you to willingly accept my invitation?”
I shake my head at this madness. “And what difference does it make if I say yes to being your slave? There’s no point of us having this conversation.” I managed to stay fervent as I spoke. But my guts became soft like trimmings from various meats. I fooled my confidence, but it was working.
“It just makes me feel better about myself. Knowing that I at least asked you to take part in what I like. I am an Alpha after all. You Omegas are like the weakest of fairies who need a dominate partner. I’ll satisfy you alright. I can sense your gland signaling its want. It’s been your lucky day.”
This Alpha was the first of his kind that I had dealt with. There were these types around, who enjoyed belittling their mates and subjecting them to cruelty and nightmarish acts for only their pleasure. There were tales of William, of what he did to his ex-partner. And now he was dead. And that brought me to act. To bring in the survival instincts when you’re faced with a life-threatening situation.
“You’ve gone quiet again.”
I tried not to move. It gave me no pleasure that he could get a full view of my ass as I laid on my belly. It was too risky to try and check for my mobile phone that I had forgotten was in my pocket. It had been there since the date with Garret. I brought my arms to my side, so I could lay straight. My real reason was to tap the side of my thigh and see if my slime-line iPhone was present… It was! I breathed a sigh of relief and hoped for another godsend.
“I didn’t get your name?” I heard the Alpha’s voice becoming distant, he was moving away from the cage. “Not that I need it. I think I’ll name you. Because you will certainly be a good slave. Well behaved. Attentive. And if you get out of line, then I’ll have to beat you senseless.” He scoffed to himself. “Don’t go anywhere. I’ve been needing to pee for the past two hours.” The Alpha left the room, but he didn’t shut the door: I listened out for that. It would’ve made things easier.
But I still had a chance to act fast! I flip-over and scramble my phone out of my left pocket. Thankfully, there was thirty-five percent charge left, with a few missed calls from Trevor and Ethan, and a couple of friends. It was Garret’s number I needed to text. I hadn’t saved his number to a name, but I remembered the call log as I scrolled down and found it, then pressed it and brought up the options of either messaging or calling.
I messaged Garret briefly, In trouble, please come and help! It conveyed the message directly.
“Oh, little Omega!” The Alpha was coming back…
My thumb touch screened the top to find the location. I didn’t need to do that, I was quite backwards with phones.
The Alpha was walking up the stairs, his bathroom was on the lower level. “Did you miss me already?”
I sent the location via the message. Pending…pending…pending …
“I can’t hear you! Are you wanting to open your mouth yet? Are you wet down there?”
Pending…pending…pending…
The Alpha was at the door.
The message sent. I stuffed it in my back pocket. I was sure I sweated out a bucket!
“A part of obedience is answering when you are spoken to.” The Alpha could see that I was sweaty when he came over to the cage. “Oooooh!” He outlined my lips with his eyes, drawing a picture for his memory down below the gages. “I think you like to be stuffed like a cheap turkey. Do you enjoy being spanked and ridden like camel?”
“I don’t.”
“Well you will. Because I said so.” He smiled.
It brought a Dawn of the Dead awakening into my bones. I wished it would end.
The Alpha came over and applied a padlock. “Just in case you get any ideas of shifting and trying to escape. He clipped it locked.
This was a stupid mistake by the Alpha. He had shown me then that this cage was not impenetrable.
“I think you are ready. That defiant answer needs knocking out of you. Like pliers applied to teeth as they get ripped out. I have those in my basement to.”
I gulped. But I said, “You’re a sick man. And a pathetic one at that.”
“That’s what my ex said.”
“The way you told your childish story, I would think that was just a fantasy. I suppose he never agreed.” I wanted him to hurry up and leave! Go and get whatever it was. Give me the chance to escape. “I think you’re lying about him being in a ward. You probably killed him.”
“And what if I did? Then you should be worried. Because the same thing could happen to you. And that’s another black mark to your name.” He checked his watch. “I’m horny now. And that means it’s time for me to disappear and get the equipment, which includes a chainsaw, rope dipped in wax, whips, nipple twisters, fetish belt, a sixteen inch dildo that we can mess around with. And the grand finale, which comes after we use each and every one of those. You’re going to have one sore anus!”
The Alpha left the room and closed the door this time. I strained my cochlea to the maximum to hear him walk down the steps…he was doing that. Then I hoped that he would go outside…he surely did. But it was very faint when it
shut. I had no time to spare and got to my feet and shook the cage like a wild Tarzan with unlimited power. The cage stayed put. I could see why, he had drilled the four points through the carpet.
I was switching in and out of my alter-personalities. The wolf and Ian were competing at who had the best ability to open that padlock. I opted with only transforming my hand into a paw so that I could lengthen my nails which could be both sharp and of better use to pick a lock with.
I sharpened them against the bars first, all five of them. It was tedious, the sound of nails upon ice and having sensitive hearing. But it did the job, and I then slid my arm through and was able to rotate my hand enough with my nails as they fiddled around. I was no lock picker, but I had to apply more strength than combination when it came down to working out a strategy. The clock was also against me. I didn’t, for a second, think that Alpha was going to be long.
There was a hunger in his eye. And I didn’t want to see it again. One of my claw nails broke. So, I tried another, they always rapidly grow back. But I was getting nowhere and needed to speed up before that death-wiener came back. In my head I was counting to five, and then reversing it and counting to one. I did this process each time a nail broke and I needed to start again. It was settling me down and stopped the quaking in my fingers that made it near impossible to get it right.
“Argh!” That was out of frustration. “Fuck!” I was so close. “Dab-fuckery!” I just had it. My nail worked the magic, but broke. I only needed to apply my nail one more time and that unlocking would be undone. A little more. Just a few fractions to the left and click-click, the padlock came undone; and I burst through the cage. I was out! I was out! And immediately knew that with my stroke of luck, the Alpha would be coming through that front door with a box full of his sickening memorabilia used forcibly. I imagined he didn’t clean it either. I cared not about that. But I wouldn’t be running out of here in my normal exterior. It was wolf-mode and zooooooooom down the stairs as he came through the front door with the predictable box of sex toys that I had expected him to have.
