“You might want to… I don’t know… maybe study magic yourself a little more. Maybe just a smidge. I don’t know. You could consider it,” he said and sashayed out of the room.
“Whatever,” I mumbled under my breath.
“Whatever,” he called back from the kitchen. “Since I solved the whole magic thing, could I get some bacon?”
I started to get up, but Thorn patted me on the leg. “I’ll go. You just watch your zombie clowns. It’s not really my thing anyway.”
“Thorn Wilson, are you scared of clowns?” I asked as he made his way out of the room.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” he said. “But if I never saw another clown in my life, it would be all right with me.”
