Moments later, I was nutting all up inside of her.

Falling down onto her body, we kissed nastily for a minute before I pulled out.

  “Where the bathroom?”

“No, Houston. I will go because my mama or her girlfriend may see you.”

“And do what?” I raised a brow, scoffing. “Ain’t gon’ do shit to my ass, and I know for damn sure they ain’t gon’ do shit to you, or it’s gon’ be an issue.”

  “Straight across the hall.”

I found the bathroom and then used some of the paper towels with warm water and soap to clean my dick. After washing my hands, I dampened another towel and then took it back to Camarih’s room.

“Nah, I got it.” I pulled my hand back when Camarih tried to get the towel from me.

“You’re disgusting.” She giggled, watching me take my time wiping her pussy.

“I like looking at it. Yo’ shit is pretty.”

  “Is it?” she quizzed sarcastically.

“Yeah. Needs to be on a pussy runway or some shit.” I smirked when she chuckled. “All this.” I kissed between her breasts, then her stomach, hip, pussy, thigh, then the top of her foot.

Getting up, I went back to the bathroom to toss the napkin, and Camarih joined me so she could pee. We both washed our hands, and while rinsing the soap, I kissed her lips, making her simper.

“Stop.” She screeched when I grabbed her bare ass as she reached to dry her hands.

“Aye, be quiet for you wake up Ving Rhames and I have to shoot her ass.” I gripped her hips from the back and kissed her neck.

Camarih covered her mouth as she began laughing, pulling me out of the bathroom and to her room.

“Don’t talk about my mama’s significant other like that.” She shut the bedroom door.

“You don’t like her, so I don’t like her big ass either.” I put my boxers back on.

  “You leaving?”

  “You want me to stay?”

“Actually, no. I don’t need to be getting more attached to you. It’s like driving on a road that leads nowhere.” She started putting back on her silk set after getting a new pair of panties from her dresser.

“Come here.” I pulled her to me since I was seated on the edge of her bed. “Why can’t shit just be like this?”

“Because I don’t want this. I wanna be in love. I want someone that I can be with and build a life with. I’m not built for this type of arrangement.”

“You shouldn’t even give a fuck about me smashing other hoes because they ain’t you.”

“Well I do. Wouldn’t you care if I had sex with another man?”

“Nah… I just bet not find out. I told yo’ ass that.” I was lying like a muthafucka. I definitely cared, and if Camarih gave the pussy to another nigga, I’d probably kill her ass. And that nigga would be dead fasho.

“See, and shit doesn’t work like that. Plus, if you don’t care if another man fucks me, you also shouldn’t care if we don’t talk.”

“I’m not built for the type of arrangement you want.” I used her words.

  “Then you need to go.”

  “Ca—”

“Bye, Houston.” She walked to her bedroom door to pull it open. I put on the rest of my clothes, and she led me to the front door. “I want you to leave me alone. If you care about me even a little bit, don’t bother me anymore.”

With that said, she shut the door in my fucking face.

  Camarih

  A week and a half later…

Today, I was excited because I was going to an African American Women’s Beauty expo, which would give me the opportunity to sell some products. I’d been posting about it on social media too, so I was hoping that some of my regular customers showed up to support.

I knew most of my followers were only following me because of my looks, but that kind of worked to my advantage. If they wanted to look like me, skin-wise, they needed to buy my products.

I had been seeing an increase in my sales, so I was more motivated than ever to keep that going. I knew I was far away from being on the shelves at Target, but it would happen one day.

I arrived downtown at this large ass glass building where the event was being held, and parked right outside, giving my name and keys to the valet worker. Taking my cart out of the trunk, I put my two baskets full of products in it and headed inside. It would be so embarrassing if I left with as much as I came with.

Once off the elevator, I spotted all the ladies setting up their tables. Some had clothes, others had oils and perfumes, and also hair products. I was slightly intimidated seeing there were about twenty other vendors here. I expected a much smaller amount of competition.

I found the table with the name of my business, Whipped by Camarih, on the front, and headed over to start setting up.

“Umm, do these belong to anyone?” I pointed to a humongous bouquet of red and white roses. I knew damn well one of these bitches weren’t using my table for their shit.

“I think they’re for you, baby. A flower shop delivered them, and when he asked for a Cameron, I think, the director told him this was the table.”

“It’s Camarih, and thanks.” Hoe, my damn name is on this table sign.

  “Sorry, sweetheart.”

I just gave her a soft smile and put my eyes back on the flowers. I didn’t know anyone who would have sent these to me other than maybe Shanece, and that was a big maybe. This bouquet was much larger than something she might’ve sent to be supportive. I mean, unless she was trying to tell me she had some other type of feelings for me.

No one else in my life cared enough about me or what I had going on, so I was confused. Finally, I spotted a little white card tucked in the back of the roses.

  Congrats, Buttascotch. - T.W.

I read the card about five more times before pocketing it. I would be throwing it and the roses away as soon as I left here.

Tony hadn’t talked to me in over a week, since the night he slithered through my damn window. Then had the nerve to send me these flowers. I told his ass to leave me alone, and I thought he understood that until now. He must’ve seen that I was gonna be here from my social media page.

Irritated, I set up my table to look all nice and pretty, making sure to use my business colors, and then sat back to wait for the attendees.

The event ended up lasting about five hours, but that was because the shoppers had to attend a seminar and have lunch. However, I sold out of everything I had, so it was well worth the conversation I had to make and all the convincing I had to do.

I was a walking billboard for my products, so once most of the ladies realized I used my own shit, they were happy to pay for it. I left the event with $4,500, and I was surely going to celebrate by either getting some orange chicken or Chik-Fil-A.

I had nothing to pack up, so I put the flowers in my cart since I would throw them away once I got home. When I stepped off the elevator, I spotted Tony at the bar, waiting like he knew I was coming down at this moment.

“Did you want to take these before I throw them out?” I pointed down to them.

“Why you gon’ do that?” He polished off his drink and got up to walk over to me. “The first flowers I’ve ever bought for a bitch, and you gon’ trash ’em?” He tried to get my sympathy.

“Because, I don’t want them.” I felt myself becoming short of breath as he neared me. His gorgeous face never got old. “And I’m not a bitch.”

“You not. At least take this.” He handed me a gift bag.

  “Tony, no.”

“Woman, you better take this shit. I spent a lot of fucking bread on it and almost had to bust a bitch in her mouth over this shit.”

I wanted to ask questions, but I declined as I took the bag. Digging inside, I removed two small boxes that people usually put jewelry in. One was pink, and one was purple. Opening the pink, I saw a pretty gold necklace with a locket hanging from it. I loved it, but I remained stoic. Placing it on my cart, I opened the purple one a
nd saw a beautiful gold bracelet.

  “Thanks.”

“Let me help you.” Tony removed the bracelet from the box so he could put it on me.

I was about to say no, but he gave me a look, so I knew he’d make a scene, embarrassing me in front of all of these people who’d just purchased from me.

I allowed him to put the bracelet on me, along with the necklace, and when I turned to face him, he stole a kiss from me.

“Well, I appreciate the gifts. Goodbye.”

Stopping me from pushing my cart and walking off, he said, “Let me come by later. I got some shit to handle, but after that.”

“I told you to leave me alone, Tony. So no, you can’t come over.”

“I’ve decided I don’t give a fuck what you say.” He shrugged, slipping his hands into the pockets of his track pants. His outfits were always so simple and hood, but it was what made him so alluring. The way the white t-shirt he wore hugged his body, but not too tightly, had me very hot and bothered. My eyes traveled down the tattoos covering both of his arms, until they hit his watch.

  “Oh really?”

“I like you, and I wanna spend time with you, so that’s what the fuck is gon’ happen. Now you can cooperate, or we can do shit the hard way.”

“Fuck you.” I hurried off, and when I looked back over my shoulder, he was in the same place I left him, watching me with his handsome ass.

As soon as valet brought me my car, which took about sixty seconds since the lot was only a couple feet away, I threw my cart in the trunk, trashed the flowers so Tony would see, and then sped off to celebrate as planned.

  Later that evening…

I was currently whipping up a new batch of face moisturizer, when my phone rang on my table. Rolling my eyes because I knew it was Tony, I looked over at it to see Shanece’s name.

“Hey.” I answered, laughing at myself.

  “Hey, how are you doing?”

  “Great, you?”

“Perfect. I was thinking maybe we could hang out tomorrow? I’m off work and thought we could chill or maybe get lunch.”

“Sounds good to me. Just text me in the afternoon. I should be done working out, and with this new batch of stuff.”

“Okay, great. And that’s perfect since I need to make a purchase from you.”

“I got you. How are you doing?”

I didn’t know much about Shanece other than the fact that she had a husband, but I’d only seen him in photos. And she hadn’t posted any recently. By saying that, she was kind of mysterious to me. I didn’t want to delve too much into her business because I was sure she would expect me to return the gesture, and I just didn’t trust anyone enough.

  “I’m doing great, Miss Wacko.”

“Eh!” I made a buzzer sound, causing her to fall into a fit of laughter. “Absolutely not. After the club, it’s been a downward spiral, so we’re done.”

“Oh damn. You never told me what happened, but it must’ve been bad.”

  “Bad enough.”

Shanece and I talked for about ten more minutes, changing the subject from Tony, thankfully. I was trying to rid myself of him, so talking about his ass was not going to help.

Once I hung up with Shanece, I got back to work, playing music on my phone so I could drown out the sound of my mama and her girlfriend fucking. I didn’t even know what the hell they could be doing that would cause for all of the hollering and moaning. I’d had some really good dick, especially since I met Tony, and I never felt the need to scream. I definitely wasn’t quiet, but my moans didn’t travel outside of the damn room.

My phone rang once I was finished scooping the first batch into its jars. Without looking, I answered immediately.

  “Hello?”

  “Buttascotch. What you got on?”

  “Nigga, get off my phone.”

“Nah, I’m about to roll through.” I heard him moving around, and I also heard voices in the back; some were surely female.

  “Roll through where?”

“Yo’ crib. I told yo’ ass I wanted to see you tonight.”

“Tony, I told you no! Stay with them hoes in your background.”

Chuckling, he said, “You jealous as shit. These hoes ain’t for me. I mean, they could be; they chilling in the studio and shit. But I’m not checking for ’em. I’m checking for you.”

I wished he’d stop moving around while on the phone.

“Well don’t check for me. I’ve moved on, and you need to do the same.”

“You got on the necklace and shit still, right?”

“Actually, no.” I lied. “I removed it when my new nigga came by. That’s why you need to get off my phone before he comes back to the bedroom.”

I was smirking, waiting on Tony’s reply, but I only got the dial tone. Shrugging it off, I got back to work.

Only twenty minutes later, there was a little bit of ruckus in the living room, and I could hear Bobi, my mama, and Tony kind of going at it. I hopped up to unlock and open my bedroom door, but before I could step out, Tony barged his big ass in, gun in hand.

“Where cuz at?” He started looking all through my closet, under my bed, and every other area that a person could fit in. I hurriedly slammed and locked my door when I heard my mama and Bobi coming toward it like a herd.

“He’s not here! He left already! Tony, go home!”

“Who you think you fucking with, Camarih?” He hissed, scowling as he pressed me up against the wall. I was praying his gun didn’t go off.

“Tony, go.” My voice was much calmer as I stared up into his angry eyes.

“You got a nigga you fucking?”

“Yes. He’s been interested for a while, and since you and I weren’t going anywhere, I gave him a chance.” I made up a whole story. “Now you gotta go. I don’t want him hearing about you being over here.”

“I swear to God, Camarih, if I find out who that nigga is, which I will, I’m killing his ass. And once I do, I just might do the same to yo’ stupid ass.” He was right in my face, looking down at me like a demon. I was afraid yet turned on, but I refused to show him either of those emotions.

“Should’ve made me your woman, now I’m his. So get the fuck out.” I sneered.

“Fuck you.” He moved me out of the way before storming out of my bedroom.

“Nigga, ne—Ah!” My mom tried to reprimand Tony but got a gun in her face as a response.

“Bitch, it ain’t nothing for me to push yo’ shit back. Keep it fucking moving.” Tony spoke through clenched teeth as my mama and Bobi stood paralyzed.

Tony walked out after locking his gun in his waist with his sexy hood ass, and before I could close my door good, my mother had barged in, slamming it behind herself.

“Felisha!” Bobi called her name. “Let me talk to her.”

“No. I got this, baby!” She shouted over her shoulder before turning her attention to me. “Camarih, let me tell you something right now. If you think you’re gonna be opening your legs to these psycho ass street niggas and bringing home babies, you can get the fuck out!”

  “I’m not with him!”

“Who the hell are you hollering at!” She grabbed a handful of my hair, glaring down into my eyes since I was sitting on my bed.

  “Ma, let my hair go!”

I was too old for this. I swear, now that I had some money saved, I was going to have to get an apartment or something. I couldn’t deal with this shit anymore.

“Stupid bitch.” She let go of my hair, flinging my head in the process. “Think you so cute and that these knucklehead niggas are gonna treat you differently. Well let me tell you, Ari, they won’t. You’re not even that cute; you just got a nice body and one damn sad ass dimple in your cheek.”

“Okay, Mama.” I just wanted her ass to leave because, in a minute, I was gonna hit her. Had I not needed a place to stay, I would’ve been beat her up.

As soon as she left, I locked my door just in case Bobi’s ass wanted to come back. Putting up m
y products, I lay down on my bed and opened up my apartment hunting app.

  The next afternoon…

“That was so good. I love a good fucking meal.” Shanece patted her stomach as we crept down the crowded ass 405 freeway.

We’d just gone to lunch in Manhattan Beach and were on our way back to my house. I really didn’t want her meeting my mother or Bobi, so we’d have to find some other shit to do once we got to the neighborhood.

“Same, girl.” I chuckled. “I could go for a donut though. I’ve been craving them. There is a Krispy Kreme near my house.”

  “That sounds so good actually.”

The simple thought of me getting a donut had improved my mood and made me feel okay, despite what happened yesterday with my mom and also Tony. He didn’t text me goodnight like he’d been doing way back, which had me feeling some type of way, but it was for the best.

Shanece and I decided to go inside of Krispy Kreme, but when we got there, we noticed there was a video shoot of some sort happening. After getting our donuts, we came back outside, trying to see what was going on exactly, and that’s when I spotted Tony along with his friends Eitan, Rahim, and two others. There were women dressed in barely anything, cameras, and a big ass crowd of people.

“A hood nigga video shoot.” I rolled my eyes before Shanece and I laughed.

“You should go be in it. They gon’ need a pretty bitch amongst these mud ducks.” She nudged me.

“Umm, no. I do not do videos.” I adjusted my dress. It was clinging to my body, showing everything, and the niggas were definitely taking notice.

“Whose video, I wonder?” Shanece stretched her neck, trying to see through all the gang bangers, hoes, and filming crew.

“This guy named Eitan. His music is pretty good; great lyrics and dope beats.”

  “Nice. It’s usually either or.”

“Exactly. Tony is a perfectionist though, so I’m not surprised,” I added, looking on with Shanece. Tony being good at what he did was attractive to me for some reason.

As Shanece and I walked closer to the curb and out of the Krispy Kreme parking lot, the guys began salivating over us, calling out things. We politely smiled, not wanting to upset them in the slightest.
