SHY MEETS MAFIA Page 7

  I felt alive again.

I got in the shower and relaxed when the warm beam of water poured down on me.

I abruptly turned around when I felt two warm hands on my waist.

‘Jesus, Gio, you scared me to death.’ I scolded. He just gave me his charming smile and I was sold. ‘Sorry babe, you’re just so irresistible. I couldn’t stay away.’

He kissed me softly on the lips and I opened my lips for his tongue. I felt a deep want come up and I circled my legs around his waist and felt his manhood press against my stomach. I moaned deeply when I felt him kiss my neck and give a hard squeeze to my bum. He slowly entered me and my walls tightened around him. We both moaned loudly and lost ourselves in each other till he brought me to a mind blowing orgasm.

Gio looked up at me and kissed my lips. He gave me one of his naughty smirks and asked,

‘You in for a second round?’

  Chapter 20

‘Giovanni! Stop, you’re getting me dirty.’

Gio and I were in the kitchen baking. Until he thought it was a good idea to crack an egg on my head. A raw egg...

As my revenge, I poured the floor over his head. But, as his revenge for my revenge. He rubbed the whipped cream in my face. And my hair.

So, at this moment, we were having a food war in the kitchen.

I squealed loudly as Gio picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. o my holy. How did I never saw how delicious his ass is. ‘Gio!’ I slapped his bum and giggled loudly as he slapped mine in return.

It has been a month since my father and his ‘gang’ showed up in Gio’s mansion. Gio and I were becoming closer and so were his siblings. They were often around here and hanged out with us. Even though Raffaello was here more for business than to hang out I liked him really much. He was really protective over his little sister and brothers. I see him as my own brother. He told me I’m part of the family from now on, so, I’m om the list of people he needs to protect. The triplets were the fun brothers. They often play games with me on the ps4. I’m becoming a pro if you ask me. Camilla was my new improved sister. She and I were really close and gossiped often about her brothers and her boyfriend, who’s name is Jake by the way. We went shopping last week and we bought some new clothes for the upcoming warm weather. And some lingerie for Gio. Also, after Camilla came to know about that Gio has ‘finally’ deflowered me, she got me on birth control. Just for safety and all... to not get a baby.

When the ground changed from tiles to grass and the warmth changed to cold. I had a bad feeling about this.

‘Giovanni?’ I began calmly. ‘What are you planning to do to me?’

‘Nothing.’ I felt his shoulders shrug from laughter. ‘Just.. walking around.’

I looked from behind his legs to where we were walking. My head began to throb a little because all my blood keeps going to my head. I’m going to explode.

I saw the pool from my upside down few and began to panic.

‘Giovanni LaRosa. Don’t you dare throw me in the water!’ I screamed when we stood in front of the big, not heated pool.

‘And why shouldn’t I miss Belmonte?’ He mocked me. Fuck, this is so not going to work.

‘No, please. Gio, it’s way to cold. Please, don’t do this.’ The second option, beg.

‘Begging won’t help, this time, babe.’ He said and threw me in the cold water. The cold water froze my Muscles and my brain for a second before I could move again.

I didn’t know what to do.

I never learned how to swim after my mother died.

I opened my eyes and saw my hair floating around me. The cold was bearable, but the lack of oxygen was not. I felt my lungs crave for air. When I opened my mouth water filled my lungs. I felt two hands pull me out of the water into the surface. I coughed up water and clung to Giovanni as he held me steady from behind.

‘What the hell were you doing?’ He scolded.

Gio turned me around in his arms and I circled my legs and arms around him. Afraid I would go under again. ‘I forgot to inform you that I can’t swim.’ I snapped. Still angry with him for throwing me in the first place.

His eyes softened and turned to regret. ‘I’m sorry. I didn’t know, babe.’ He gave my face little pecks and murmured sorry over and over again.

I knew it wasn’t his intention to ‘let me drown’, so, I forgave him.

‘It’s okay. Just, get me out of here.’ I tightened my grip on him and pleaded him with my eyes.

‘Yes, of course. Sorry.’ He swam us to the edge of the pool and sat me on it. He pulled himself up and stood behind me, grabbed me by the waist and tilted me in his arms. My legs went around his waist and my arms on his shoulders.

  ‘Let’s get a warm shower.’ I suggested.

He nodded his head as I played with his wet hair.

We showered together and changed into warm clothes, we were cuddled up on the black leather couch in our bedroom making out. Our bedroom door was pulled open and Lucas was standing in the doorway, he closed his eyes and sighed loudly, ‘I so, don’t have to see this.’ Gio and I laughed at Lucas’ face and Gio pulled me closer to him kissing my forehead.

‘What’s the matter, Lucas?’ Gio asked.

  ‘They found him.’

  ‘Found who?’ I asked.

‘Your father.’ I sat up straight at his words and listened closely when he explained the situation. ‘He was found in a cheap motel here nearby with a blonde woman named Priscilla. We are keeping a close eye on him, looking at every action.’

‘Good, keep that up and double security around here, make sure he can’t break in again.’ Gio said.

‘Of course. By big brother. Go on with doing the dirty deed.’ He winked at me and walked out.

‘So, what are we doing now?’ I asked about my father.

‘I don’t know. Just wait for him to make the first move, I guess’ He said kissing my forehead. ‘We’ll make sure he won’t hurt you, ever again. I promise.’

‘Thank you Gio, so much. For everything.’ I kissed his pink full lips. ‘I love you.’

  I love you too, babe.′

  Chapter 21

It was Sunday morning and Gio was out for the day. He had to leave the house and go to the family business somewhere in town.

I didn’t even know they have a family business...

Back to the point, everyone was out and I had the house all to my own for the day. Gio had protested for an hour before Raffaello him finally convinced that I was completely safe with all the security around. But even though it was safe. Gio made them double the security around here. Again. So, there were ten people in the house and twenty-four around the house. I counted them myself when I walked around the garden.

I walked into the living room and put on some music to lighten up the house a bit.

My favorite song started playing when I sat on the couch reading Hamlet from William Shakespeare.

I murmured along the lines and tapped with my fingers on the book along the rhythm.

’You said that you’d never hurt me

Be the band-aid when I bleed

But I guess that that band-aid was all made of paper

Cause you never stuck to me

And you say that you conquered the lion

  Without even tryin’

  But she only gets stronger

She only bites harder and I only fighting

you can run, you can run

But you know that I know just what you’ve done

You can run, you can run

But save those words for one on one

So when the lights go down

  And the sun hits ground

You should know that I won’t back down

  I’ll be waitin’ for you

Knuckles out and the guard in my mouth

When you’re hungry for the next round I’ll be waitin’ for you

  Oh-oh, oh-oh-ooh, I’ll be waitin’ for you

  Oh-oh, oh-oh-ooh, I’ll be waitin’ for you<
br />
  Oh-oh, oh-oh-ooh

  Mmm’

The house phone started ringing and I turned down the music.

  Unknown number.

I didn’t know what to do. I mean, this wasn’t my house. It would be weird if I picked up. But at the same time, no one was home and what if it was important. I sucked it up and picked up the phone.

  ‘Hello, Gracelyn Belmonte speaking.’

  ‘Hello, baby girl.’

  Father.

I stayed silent afraid to talk. My hands were trembling and my head started spinning. I gripped the wooden table and held myself steady until I made my mind clear and straightened up.

‘What do you want?’ I snarled.

‘Oooh. My little girl is talking back? Should I learn you some manners, babygirl? I’ll do it for free.’

A shiver ran over my spine and nauseous washed over me.

‘You’re sick! What do you want!?’

‘I want you back. You are mine. Come to me or your little friend over here won’t see the daylight again.’ He snickered.

  ‘What? Who?’

‘Grace! Don’t do it!’ I heard a girl voice scream through the phone.

‘Shut up you bitch.’ My father snarled and a loud slap was followed. I heard the girl scream and cry out from the pain and I realized who it was.

  ‘Camilla?’ I whispered.

‘Yes, baby girl. Camilla LaRosa. All here because of you. So, if you want her to live, you would have to come here.’

‘Where?.. I’ll do everything you say, just don’t hurt her.’ I said. ‘Please, father. I beg you.’ I whispered, ashamed of myself for begging to that cruel man. My father’s laugh was deep-throated and sounded like my own personal hell.

But I would do everything to have Camilla safe. She is my sister. My family.

‘I’ll text you the address.’ He spoke his last words through the phone and hanged up. ‘You have twenty minutes.’

I pulled on my shoes, grabbed my phone and checked my messages.

The address was fifteen minutes from here.

  I could do this.

  I have to do this.

I walked to the front door and walked out. Two security guys stopped me from going any further when I was walking to the black mustang I could borrow from Gio.

‘I’m sorry miss, but you can’t leave the house.’ The blonde guy spoke.

I made up an excuse for leaving. I had to hurry. Otherwise, Camilla wouldn’t survive. ‘I’m just going for lunch with Giovanni.’

The two guys looked at each other and nodded. ‘Alright, miss. Drive safely.’ They went out of my way and I fast walked to the black mustang. I got in and speeded off.

  Chapter 22

Fifteen minutes later I arrived at my childhood house. It was old, ugly and abandoned. The wood has rotten away and broken off at some points. It looked like a hell hole, to be short.

I pulled out my phone and dialed Gio’s number and pressed call. I put my sound on zero so that when he wouldn’t hang up my father wouldn’t know I was ‘calling’ my boyfriend for help.

I checked the knife I put in my boot after I hang up on the phone and walked to the front door. I pulled at the doorknob and the door opened with a loud creak. The house was dark and dirty from all the years it stood her empty.

I didn’t saw anybody so I walked carefully to the stairs. I walked up the stairs softly to my old room.

I had some feeling Camilla would be in there. My father loved to torture me in that room before I moved to the small, crappy room.

I cracked open the door to my old room and walked in. Camilla was tied up on a chair in the middle of the room. Blood was dripping from cuts on her face. And her shirt was ripped at the side.

I sprinted towards her and took her beaten head in my hands. ‘O my god, Camilla. Camilla. Wake up, Cam.’ She opened up her eyes and gave me a soft smile. Her eyes turned to panic after a second, though.

‘No..’ she rasped out. ‘Run.’ She whispered. ‘Before it’s too late.’ Her eyes widened with fear and looked right past me.

‘Already too late.’ My father’s voice said from behind.

I turned around and was met by my father pointing his gun at me.

I took a step back and placed myself in front of Camilla to protect her.

‘I’m here now. You have me, let Camilla go.’

‘Now now, don’t be so rude young lady. I raised you better.’ He took a threatening step forward with his gun still pointed at my head.

‘You didn’t raise me.’ I spat. ‘My mother did. And after she was gone, I did it myself. You’re nothing to me. You sick bast..’ my last words were stopped by his hand slapping me in the cheek. The content was so big I felt to the floor with a loud bang.

I groaned loudly as my arm and hip were stinging from the fall and my cheek was throbbing from my father’s hit.

‘You don’t speak to me like that, bitch. I never liked you. Because of you, Selena is dead. You aren’t even my daughter. Your mother cheated on me.’ He spat out his words and I felt his saliva dripping on my face. His face was red and his fists were trembling from all the anger.

Oh no, this is not going to end well.

Camilla was screaming and begging my father not to shoot. hut he already made his decision.

  He never missed.

And neither did he this time.

The gun was pointed at my head and he was ready to shoot when Camilla kicked him on the shin and screamed harder than she ever had before.

My father lost the control on the gun for a second but he still managed to pull the trigger. Pain interrupted in my left leg and blood flooded out of the bullet wound. Camilla kept screaming as I moaned in pain. I pushed the pain away and crawled closer to my father.

‘You fucking bitch, I will blow your head up.’ He shouted at Camilla. I took on big leap and jumped on my father before he had the time to shoot Camilla between the eyes. I wrestled with him on the ground and screamed for Camilla to run. Even though I knew she was still tied to the chair, I hoped she could have the strength to get out of it and run.

I kicked, punched and scratched my father, hoping I could win this. But I could never win. I already knew that. My father overpowered me and took the upper hand. He grabbed his gun from the ground with his right hand and held my hand above my head with his left hand.

‘I hope you burn in hell!’ I spat when he pointed the gun at my head.

‘Oh no. You’ll be the one burning.’ A stranger’s voice screamed from the doorway. A gun was fired when I closed my eyes. A heavy weight fell down on me and cut off my air pipe. I heard my father breathing out his last breath and tried pushing off the heavy body of my father but I didn’t have the strength. I felt warm liquid over my left arm. My father’s blood. He’s dead.

The body was pulled off of me and I took a big bite of air. I coughed for a while and was pulled up by two strong warm hands. My leg was still hurting and blood was still flooding out of the bullet wound. I looked up and looked at the two most mesmerizing green eyes.

‘Gio.’ I whispered before I let darkness consume me.

  Chapter 23

I woke up after 2 days of sleep in the hospital. They took out the bullet and stitched me up. I was going to be fine but I had to keep some rest for the upcoming month. Gio has been very worried about me. He hasn’t left me alone since he found me in my father’s house after I was shot. He got my phone call, though. He tracked me down with the chip he placed on my phone. I didn’t know that. And after I passed put the paramedics brought me to the hospital for surgery. They cleaned my wounds I got from my father and put a cast on my wrist because I sprained it.

Gio walked in with some water and hospital food. Which is gross! I only get soup that tastes like my own piss. And then I get some jelly. Which looks like soap.

‘I got you a hamburger.’ Gio grinned at me. I looked up at him with all the admiration I held for me.

  ‘You did?’ I squealed.

‘Yes, I did, babe.’ He placed the plate of food on the table next to me and kissed me cheek. I threw my arms around him and pulled him close. ‘O my god, I love you so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.’ I said. He laughed his beautiful laugh and told me it was his pleasure. I stroked his jaw and looked into his green eyes. A few strokes of his black hair fell over his forehead and kissed his tanned skin. ‘I really love you, though. Even without the burger.’ I whispered. I placed my lips on his and gave him a sweet, soft, long kiss full of all my love. I pulled away for air and he placed his lips on mine for a second kiss. I giggled softly and he took that as his chance to invade my mouth with his tongue. He placed his hand on my neck and tilted my head to the side for better access. I moaned softly and pressed myself closer to him. He pulled away and pecked my lips for one last time. ‘I love you too. Even with the burger.’ He smiles. I kissed his nose and scooted to the left. I patted the place next to me and he climbed in under the covers with me. He pulled me close into his arms and gives me my hamburger. I looked at it and took a big bite. I moaned loudly and throw my head back on Gio’s chest. ‘This is soooo good!!’ I moan. Giovanni laughs and whispers in my ear, ‘better than me?’

I looked up at his green eyes, full of longing and want. ‘No. Definitely not. But at this moment. Yes. I choose my hamburger.’ He looked at me with fake hurt and gave me an Eskimo kiss. ‘I would choose the same’ he said before taking a big bite out of my burger. I inhaled sharply and looked at him like he was Voldemort from Harry Potter. I’ve watched those movies with Lucas and Romano a few weeks ago. ‘How dare you?! That’s my burger, you ass.’ He laughed at my face and holds up his hands. ‘Sorry, ma’am. Won’t do it again.’ ‘Ma’am? Ma’am?! Are you calling me old, Giovanni LaRosa?!’ I fake scolded. His eyes showed some fear when he opened his mouth to say something but closed it again like a fish. ‘W-what? No. I-I... I didn’t mean it like that, babe. I swear. You are young. Like super young. No, not super young like a baby but good young like a...’ I kissed his lips to shut him up and looked playfully at him. ‘I’m just fucking with you, Gio. No need to be such a pussy.’ I laughed.
