She breathed raggedly, said nothing.
“Repeat it.” That order was accompanied with another reprimand.
“Her death.” She gasped after each strike. “Was not.” Her ass jiggled. “My fault.” She made a hurting sound. “Sir.”
His female required that absolution. She also needed to confess.
“What was your fault?” He demanded she state her error while he continued to spank her, his palm heating from the contact.
“I lied.” Her breathlessness aroused him. “About my damage.” His illogical little human thrust her ass upward, presenting that part of her body to him, seeking the pain. “Sir.”
“My role is to safeguard you.” Some of the containers of beverage remained under the tree. He moved toward them. “I can’t fulfill my role if you lie about being damaged.”
When he first spotted her bravely confronting the human male, her beautiful face and lush form covered with blood, he had almost howled with anger, with grief, with pain.
His sense of smell had communicated the blood wasn’t hers, but his vision system had reported the opposite finding. His female, his baby, his everything looked as though she had been severely damaged, and that cut through him deeper than any blade could have done.
That experience was permanently burned into his processors.
He would never put her in danger again.
“I’m sorry, sir.” Her voice was drowsy, her body limp.
His female was floating. He lowered her, cradling his little human in his arms. “You will be good in the future, baby.” He gently kissed her forehead. “As good as you can manage.”
She would always be a little bit bad, and he would always have to reprimand her. That prospect filled him with joy.
“I will be good, sir.” She smiled up at him, her eyes slightly unfocused. “I love you.”
He stared at her, unable to trust his auditory system. “Repeat what you said.”
“I love you, sir.” She said the human love words to him a second time.
That couldn’t be a malfunction. She loved him.
An explosion of joy burst inside Chuckles, surpassing every other happiness he’d ever experienced. His female had deemed him worthy of the highest level of caring.
“I think I loved you from that first time I talked to you. That was why I abandoned Smarts’ rules and took so many risks.” Her smile was adorably sheepish.
“You won’t take those risks again.” His voice was gruff with emotion.
She was too precious to him. He would protect her, ensure she behaved, didn’t place herself in peril.
And he would take the best care of her. No one, not even her dad’s friend Duggar, would find fault with how he administered to her needs.
“Drink.” Chuckles opened the container of beverage and pressed it to her lips. Liquid consumption was required to offset her exertion this planet rotation.
His female obediently drank, gazing at him with wide eyes as she swallowed. When she was done, he set the container aside.
All the time, his processors spun.
His female loved him.
Her words replayed in a continuous loop. She loved him. Every repetition caused a wave of happiness to sweep over him.
It was too much and not enough during the same interval. Chuckles needed more, more contact with her, more connection. He had to be inside her hot pussy, had to feel that physical representation of their caring.
“Take off your garments.” He set her on her booted feet before him. They would breed and breed hard. He’d merge with her body, her mind, her soul, be one with the female he adored.
“Does it bother you, sir, that I took off my garments for another male?” She unfastened her flight suit, revealing the deep valley between her wondrous breasts. Her gaze lowered as she completed that task. “I couldn’t think of any other way to distract him.”
“It was a clever battle strategy.” Most males would be distracted by her form. “I was proud, not bothered that you used it.”
It had kept her alive, and that was most important to him.
She shimmied out of her flight suit. There was no longer any sparkle on her chest. She didn’t need it. Her pale skin glowed. Her nipples were taut and pink.
“You’re not angry with me, sir?” She wiggled, the movement jiggling her curves. The action was enticing. Her chattering indicated emotional damage.
“If I was angry, I would be bothered.” He frowned. “I’ve already communicated I wasn’t bothered by your battle strategy.” He narrowed his eyes at her. “Are you doubting your sir, baby?”
“No, sir.” She stopped moving.
“Because your sir is a cyborg, and when we weren’t in use, the Humanoid Alliance stored us naked.” He whipped her with his words, seeking to repair her damage over her actions. “I don’t have your foolish human concerns about nudity.”
Her head bowed but her form relaxed.
“The way the human looked at you did bother me.” He told her. She was his. No other male should gaze at her as though he wanted to breed with her. “But I reprimanded him, severely, for that error.”
Although the human had lost consciousness before Chuckles could rip out his heart, he had felt that part of the male beat in his palm…before squeezing it into mush. That had given him great satisfaction.
The male had sought to damage his female, had killed many of Chuckles’ brethren, wanted to do the same to the furry beings. He had earned that painful death.
“I thought that was why…that was why…” His female’s voice trailed off.
“Finish your communication.” Chuckles required more input. Her processors operated differently from his own.
“I thought that was why you didn’t say you loved me, sir.” She gazed at his chin. “I’m a bad, bad female. What male could love a female like me?”
His female doubted the level of his devotion.
“That is illogical.” He hadn’t said the human love words but he had shown her his caring. Many times. “I love you because you are a bad, bad female—my bad, bad female.”
She peered up at him through her long thick eyelashes. “You love me, sir?”
“Are you doubting your sir again?” He gazed at her as severely as he could manage.
“No, sir.” She assured him hastily.
Silence stretched. Her lips moved.
“I love you.” He told her again. “Repeat it.”
“You…love me?” Doubt continued to frame the words.
“Repeat it again.” He would replay that order until she believed the words.
“You love me.” She said it with less hesitation, more warmth.
“Again.” He would ensure she never doubted it.
“You love me.” A smile curled her lips. “You love me.” His female said that without prompting. “You truly love me, sir.” She beamed at him, her beauty hitting him like a punch to the stomach.
His female would be the death of him. He shook his head.
“I truly love you.” He was a cyborg. He didn’t lie. “Bend over and grasp the trunk of the tree.” His patience was at its end. “Show me your reddened ass.”
“Yes, sir.” She hurried to obey him. The scent of her arousal flavored the air. His female was anticipating more than his perusal.
He swept his hands along her back, delighting in the smoothness of her skin. She trembled. He cupped her ass. It was warm and tinted pink from his reprimands.
He had marked her, claimed her. That pleased him.
He kicked her boots wider apart. A tremor rolled over her. Her hips tilted upward, a silent plea for more touching.
She was a menace. His lips twitched.
He slipped one of his palms between her legs. His fingertips touched wet flesh, her juices soaking his hand.
“You’re dripping.” He bent down, kissed first her right ass cheek and then her left, tasting the salt on her skin. “Did my bad, bad female like her reprimand?”
“Your words t
urned me on also, sir.” She squirmed, eager for breeding and not at all repentant about being bad. “When you told me you loved me, multiple times, grrr…” Her sexy growl made his cock bob.
His female warranted being locked up. Permanently. She was a danger to every male in the universe.
And she was his. Chuckles stripped off the remnants of his body armor, rendering his form as naked as hers was.
“I’ll show you how much I love you, baby.” He clasped her hips, relishing her softness, and he positioned himself with cyborg accuracy at her entrance.
She wasn’t willing to wait, swaying backward. He sank into her heat up to his rim. They both groaned.
“Behave.” He tightened his grip on her, preventing her from moving, and he waited, not venturing forward, not pulling back.
That reprimand punished both of them. His circuits pulsed as he fought the urge to thrust, to envelop his shaft with wet female. She quivered. Her fingers curled against the bark of the tree.
“I’m sorry, sir.” She finally apologized for her impatience.
“I’m in charge of our breeding. Always.” He drove forward. Hard.
His hips smacked against her ass. Warmth surged up his cock. She shook, her arm and leg muscles flexing.
He was home. His eyes closed for a moment, the experience divine. He was whole. While inside his female, he had no damage. She completed him, the connection between them perfect, right.
He could have happily stayed like that forever. His bad, bad female, however, was as impatient as always. She squeezed him, almost stripping his restraint bare.
Fraggin’ hole. He gritted his teeth, barely holding on.
Moments passed. His control returned.
As did his ability to speak. And to reprimand.
“I said, ‘Behave.’” He retreated to his tip, paused, then slammed his hips forward, retreated to his tip, paused, then slammed his hips forward.
Her already pinkened skin brightened with that erotic spanking. Her curves rippled.
He reinforced his dominance with his female, and his illogical little human appeared to love it, her pussy growing slicker, her lips curling into a smug smile. Stars. She was glorious, wild and wet and willing.
And she loved him.
“Say the words.” He pounded into her. “Say them to me.”
“Love. You.” She processed what he wanted, didn’t hesitate to reaffirm her feelings for him. “Love. You.”
“Yes, you love me.” He layered his form over hers, clutched her shoulders, and ravished her to the edge of her tolerance, giving her all she could handle and not a bit more. “Say it.”
“Love. You.” Her skin glistened with droplets of moisture, a natural glitter their breeding had given her. “Love. You.”
He plunged into her again and again, as energetic and as reckless as a newly manufactured cyborg. She loved him and he’d seen what she would do, would sacrifice, for the beings she loved. He could trust her, put all of his faith in her, wouldn’t have a moment’s delay in doing so.
She was his and he was hers. For the rest of their almost endless lifespan, he would protect her, care for her, supply her with nourishment and beverage. He would watch as she bundled her brightly colored hair on top of her beloved head and painted her lips unnatural hues, processing she did that for him.
Because she loved him.
His joy threatened to burst out of his chest. He couldn’t remain silent.
“Love you.” He added his voice to hers. “Love you.”
Insects hummed. In the distance, furry beings chattered. Transmissions between his cyborg brethren flowed through his processors.
His focus was his female. He propelled himself forward and fell back, moving in and out of her with an increasingly erratic rhythm. She quivered more and more, her pitch rising as she sang of her caring for him.
The exquisite pressure formed within him, warning him his release was close. He hooked his right arm around his female’s waist, threaded his fingers through her private curls, found her clit.
She inhaled sharply. His clever little human processed what was coming. Yet she didn’t fight it, trusting him to bring her to satisfaction.
They would both complete that mission. Together.
He thrust deep, burying himself in her and tapped his right index finger against the tiny collection of sensory nerve endings. She screamed, driving her body backward, clenching hard around his shaft.
Pleasure rushed through him. He roared, surging into her, crashing against his female. Hot jets of cum shot from his tip, the release downing his systems. His world went dark and silent. All his processors could handle was his bliss.
He blindly held her to him and emptied all of himself into her. She gyrated under him, a rolling wave of softness. He gave and she took, his energy flowing to his female, until he had nothing left.
A shudder shook him. His legs weakened. But he didn’t fall. He had a fragile little human to safeguard, would die before damaging her…permanently.
She became still. He kissed the back of her head, inhaling the sweet fragrance of her hair. She was all that was beautiful and right with the universe.
“I love you, sir.” Her voice was drowsy.
He straightened, taking her with him. “I love you, baby.”
She swayed. His little human required sleep. Ignoring the throbbing pain in his battered knee, he swung her into his arms.
“Rest.” He pressed his lips against his female’s forehead. “I’ll protect you.”
That would be his task until the end of time and he relished it.
Chapter Eighteen
The next planet rotation, Bettina sat in a circle on the ground with Old Mother and some of the less able-bodied furry beings. They wrapped twisted vines around the hilts of the honed-from-stone daggers they’d earlier crafted. The vines would allow the warriors to grip the weapons more effectively.
They chattered as they worked, telling stories of older times and sharing tips about raising children, dealing with males, finding shelter. She understood enough words to follow the conversation. Every so often, she’d glance at her cyborg, her sir, the male she loved.
He was teaching the furry beings how to throw the primitive daggers. His back and head had healed completely, that skin a shade of gray lighter than the rest of him. He claimed the three breedings they’d enthusiastically enjoyed over the rest cycle had hastened his repair.
Cyborgs couldn’t lie. That had to be the truth. But it sounded like a statement he would reprimand her for making.
Her ass wiggled. She loved his reprimands, loved him.
And he loved her also. Her cyborg had repeated the words with every breeding. He showed it in the way he prepared fruit for her to eat, sourced safe beverage for her to drink, held her after each reprimand, gently kissing her forehead.
With her sir, she felt cherished, protected, valued, safe.
“Furless being.” Old Mother snagged her attention.
The older female chattered. Most of the words were unknown to Bettina. The female pointed to her, to Chuckles, imitated their sex noises, and then made a rocking motion with her arms.
All of the other beings laughed.
Bettina sheepishly grinned, her face heating to the surface temperature of Vega R’s single sun. She deserved the good-natured teasing. They had made no attempt to be quiet during their encounters.
“Why are they talking about furless offspring?” Her cyborg gazed down at her.
“They’re curious about human and humanoid offspring, sir.” A lie was preferable to explaining that everyone in the community was talking about their sex life.
“Hmmm…” He didn’t sound like he believed her. “Truth will be arriving soon.”
Excitement clashed with fear and sadness inside Bettina. Truth had been one of the cyborgs Chuckles had told her about. Her male respected him. She wanted the newcomer to like her.
And she would miss her new friends.
She turned to
them. It was only right that she warn them of Truth’s arrival. “Friend.” She pointed to the sky, flattened her palm and lowered it, miming a ship landing.
The females chattered and hastened toward the tree line. Even Old Mother hobbled at a quicker than normal pace.
She frowned, gazing after them. They hadn’t said good-bye to her.
That might be a cultural difference. She tried to remain positive. Maybe furry beings never said good-bye to anyone.
“What is your emotional damage?” Chuckles gazed down at her.
She scrambled to her booted feet. “I’m a mess, sir.” She ran her fingers over her hair. The tendrils were frizzy. The ends stuck out all over her head. “Your friend will meet me for the first time with me looking like this and—”
“He will like you.” Her cyborg sounded certain about that.
“He might decide you deserve someone better, sir.” When she researched his kind, she’d seen images of them. None of the males were as handsome as her sir, but they were all good-looking and perfect.
“That lacks logic, baby.” Her male clasped one of her hands. “There’s no one better than you.”
He said that as though it was a fact, as though he didn’t have any doubt that was the truth. Her worries disappeared, her love for him warming her chest. “Thank you, sir.”
They held hands, waiting for his friend’s arrival. The sound of a ship’s engine grew louder. The vessel lowered, the wind blasting them.
The ship landed. The engines quieted.
The doors opened and the ramp lowered. A male with the same coloring and build as Chuckles swaggered out of the ship. A grin lit his face, the cyborg as lighthearted as her sir was stern.
“Did I miss a battle?” Truth looked around him. Debris from their enemy’s ship littered the site. “If you hadn’t asked me to pick up supplies, I might have arrived in time for it.”
“I had the situation handled.” The gruffness in her cyborg’s voice communicated his affection for his friend.
The two males slapped each other’s shoulders, the impact shaking both of them. Truth circled her cyborg. “The state of your body armor tells me you barely had it handled, you grumpy bag of bolts.”
