Two weeks after we started dating officially, we were spending a Saturday together. I offered to take him out to eat. Richard said he wanted to spend time with me and didn’t want to go out.
We ended up sitting in my living room and watching old crime detective shows together. I thought it was funny how he didn’t understand what was going on in the show. He would ask me questions and I would explain it to him. Police procedure. Evidence tagging. Investigations.
My arm draped over the back of the couch. Richard leaned in against me. I could feel his head resting against my side near my chest. He had his hand on my chest.
“Victor. Have you ever had a secret that you wanted to tell someone, but you didn’t know how to tell them?”
I was not sure where this was going. I had secrets but I was never shy about telling them to someone I trusted.
“I’ve never had a big secret I couldn’t share it with someone. Especially someone that I trust.” My fingers lowered from the couch to touch to his arm and shoulder. “Is everything alright? Something that you want to tell me?”
Richard shrugged his shoulders. “I was thinking about something. Something that I need to tell my roommates. I’m not sure how they will react when they find out. I mean, I know they will find out eventually, but I don’t know how to tell them.”
Was he talking about me? He hadn’t told his roommates that we were dating? Come to think of it, he had never asked me over to his place and I had not met his roommates.
“Don’t worry about it. They are your roommates. I’m sure that whatever it is you need to tell them, they will understand. They trust you to make good decisions. You’re a bright and intelligent young man. Just tell them. If they care about you, they will support you.”
I felt that answer was sufficient. He would be able to go to his roommates and tell them about us. I did not want him to worry about our relationship. My feelings were not going to change any time soon.
Richard turned his head toward me. He shifted on the couch to face me and then put a hand on my cheek “You are right. I should tell them, but I’m scared.”
His eyes were looking into mine. I could get lost looking into them. My hand reached up to take hold of his hand. I gave it a gentle squeeze.
“I’m here for you. You don’t have to be scared. Tell your roommates and I will be here for you.”
With a smile, he leaned forward to kiss me on the lips. I brushed my hand across the back of his head and through his hair. We lost all interest in the show after that. We made out on the couch. I never pushed him to go further than he was comfortable with. I wanted him to be sure it was what he wanted.
Richard left after that to return home. I locked the door behind him and went to lay down on my bed. When he told his roommates that he was dating me, I hoped the news would go over well.
I had my phone in my hand and scrolled through the text messages he had sent me. A lot of them were similar. Miss you. Want to see you. When are you coming by work? It had been so long since I had been in a relationship, I forgot what it was like. It was nice. Pleasant. I enjoyed the fact that he worried about me and wanted to see me. I wanted to see more of him. I closed my phone as I drifted off to sleep.
Chapter 9
Richard
Victor was right. I couldn’t hide this from my roommates. I needed to tell them the truth. When I got home, my roommates were still awake. Todd was watching television. Jason was at the kitchen table with a computer. He would do programming in an attempt to get some extra side income.
Sitting down at the table next to Jason, I watched him work for a bit before he turned his attention toward me.
“What do you need Richard? I’m trying to get this program working.” He had a programming book in his hand, which he put down while he talked to me.
Taking a deep breath, I did my best to muster up my courage. “Well, Jason. I have something very important to tell you.”
Jason’s eyes were fixated on me. I could see him getting impatient as I pieced together what to say.
“Well, what do you need to tell me?” He leaned back in his chair. His arms crossed over his chest.
Swallowing my anxiety down, I blurted it out. “Jason. I’m pregnant.” My eyes watched him. I could see the shocked expression spread across his face. He stood up so quickly that the chair got knocked backward and fell to the floor with a loud bang.
“You’re pregnant? It was David, wasn’t it? That is why he hasn’t been over here recently. You knew that he would tell us.” His voice was so loud that it carried into the other room.
Todd came into the room, looking directly at me. He had his hand covered over his mouth. “Richard, you’re pregnant?” I thought you were going to get married before you had kids. Is it David’s?”
Their reactions had me sinking back into the chair. The cat was out of the bag and there was no way to stuff it back in. They now both knew.
“Yes, it was David. I didn’t tell you about it because I knew you would both be mad.”
Jason walked back and forth through the kitchen. His hands going over his head and resting on the back of his neck. He stopped pacing to look at me.
“You told him, right? Is he going to marry you? Is he going to take responsibility?”
Clutching my hands in front of me, I shook my head. “I told David. He broke up with me after I told him. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with me or the baby.”
I could see how visibly upset that Jason was becoming. He was mad. His hand reached into his pocket to pull out his car keys.
“I’m going to go find him and ask him what is wrong with him. He doesn’t want to marry you and be a man. He should take care of his child.” He started to storm toward the door in an angry huff.
I rose from my chair to intercept him.
“Jason! Don’t you dare go talk to him. I don’t want anything to do with him. He threw me away after I told him. Do you really want him in this house after he was so cold to me?”
Jason’s upper lip trembled as he tried to deal with his emotions. He wanted to vent his rage. I knew it would be trouble if he left the house.
“You should have told us sooner that this happened. We could have talked to him. Made him see that he should be responsible. Now there is a child that is going to grow up without a father.”
My bottom lip began to tremble as I heard his words. I knew that he may be right. David would never be in my baby’s life. There was a chance that things would not work out between Victor and me. The fact that Jason twisted the situation around to place the blame on me and not on David was what hurt the most. Tears started to stream down my face. I ran out of the house without saying a word to either of my roommates.
Once in my car, I was driving down the road back to Victor’s place. It was the only place I knew that I could go. The only place where I knew I would be safe.
Standing outside, I knocked loudly on his door. Tears were still flowing down over my cheeks when Victor finally opened the door.
“Richard?” He saw me standing there with the tears on my cheeks. He reached his hands out to wrap me up in a hug. “Is everything alright? Come inside.”
Victor guided me into his house and toward the living room. It took me a while to finally calm down. Sniffling, I wiped the tears away from my face.
“Sorry for waking you up. I had a fight with my roommates. I couldn’t stay at the house. I needed to get away from them.”
Victor’s hand caressed across my head and down over my back. It was calming and reassuring.
“It’s going to be okay. Friends don’t stay mad forever. They care about you. Even they mess up. Give it some time. You will see.”
Feeling calmer about the situation now, I gave a nod. It was already late at night and there was no way I was going back home. Not after that. Victor offered to sleep on his couch and give me the bed. I didn’t feel that was fair to him though.
“No, don’t do that. Not because of me. I can sleep in th
e bed with you. It will be fine.”
We both went into the bedroom and turned out the light. The soft glow of the moon illuminated the room. I took off the shorts I was wearing to leave me in my boxer shorts and t-shirt. Victor had stripped down to his briefs. We didn’t say anything to each other as we climbed into bed together.
I laid on my back, looking up at the ceiling. I was tired. I wanted to sleep but my mind was still racing with the events from earlier that evening. Looking over at Victor, I could see that he was not sleeping either.
Rolling over on the bed, I straddled across his hips. My chest pressed down against him and then my lips connected with his. My hands caressed across his scalp and through his brown hair. I could feel his hands against my sides and sliding around. His rough fingers moved across my back and then down over my buttocks to squeeze.
I could feel the desire for this man rising inside of me. Breaking the kiss, I lifted up from him to grab the bottom hem of my t-shirt. I tossed it aside as I looked down at Victor. We had been going out for a while, but he had never made a move on me other than kissing or that first time we were together. If he wasn’t going to make the first move, then I would. I was tired of waiting. I wanted him.
Victor looked up at me. His hands were resting on my hips and thighs. In the dim light, I could see his chest rising with every breath.
“Richard. You are beautiful.” Those simple words spoken by him caused my spirits to rise. A rush of happiness spread through my body. My heart beating rapidly as I pushed back down into him. My chest pressed into his. It tickled slightly to feel his hair against me, but I could endure this to be with the man I loved.
Victor let his hands roam across my back. His lips kissed me once more. I could feel the passion and the desire for me. His tongue slipped into my mouth to circle around my own tongue in a French kiss. He must have gotten excited for me because he gripped my bottom and then flipped me over on the bed. He was taking charge as an alpha should and I was happy to be his omega. Now on my back with him over top of me, I let a long exhale of breath escape from my lips. Trembling with excitement, I felt his hands gliding over my sides. Upon reaching my boxer shorts, his fingers hooked into the material, dragging them down my legs.
My cock sprung free, already erect and excited because of him. I blushed a deep crimson. There was no more hiding. I was fully bare to him. All of me on display. He shifted on the bed, pulling his briefs off. I had never seen him naked.
The intensity of the moment was building. I wanted him so badly. I could feel it deep down inside of me. His hands caressed across my legs. He was kissing me. Light pecks of his lips across my knee and up my inner thigh. When he got near my crotch, I could feel his hot breath on my cock. My hips rolled on the bed, begging, needing his touch.
His tongue licked up the underside of my cock. His warm lips wrapped around the head, plunging down around it. I groaned in desire. This is what I wanted. My hand drifted through his brown hair. Victor kept sucking on my cock. His warm tongue slid up and down over the shaft. I was seeing stars.
My back arched up as I felt a wave of pleasure coursing through me. Warm spurts of my orgasm flooding into his mouth. Victor took it all too. He swallowed down my offering of love. His mouth popped off of my shaft after that.
He slipped past my cock and kissed across my stomach. Then his lips kissed over my chest. I trembled underneath of him. I’ve never wanted someone so much before. My first time had been rushed. It was frantic and inexperience made it not as romantic. With Victor, I felt like this was the most romantic and erotic thing that I would ever experience in my life.
Now over top of me, I felt the hairs of his chest pressing down against me. His manhood nestled between my legs and then I could feel him nudging against me. A sharp gasp escaped my lips when he pressed inside. It was unlike anything I had felt before. He was moving into me so slowly. I could feel myself being stretched to accommodate him. It was not an invasion though. It was a welcome embrace. My slick walls squeezed around his member.
Gripping at the bed sheets with my fingers, I tugged on them when he sank into me even deeper. This wasn’t just sex between the two of us. It was more. I could feel the gentle way he moved. His soft whispers in my ear. The warmth and protection that his body offered to me. He desired me as much as I desired him.
The fire inside of me grew with each passing moment. His movements became steadier as he pushed in and out of me. My hands rested onto his shoulders now as he made love to me.
I could hear his labored breaths as he took me. My eyes rolled back in my head, slowly closing. This intense sensation of pleasure was building into a crescendo. A tidal wave that was going to break its crest and come gushing down.
Then it happened. The wave of pleasure finally broke. My mind was blown away at how good this felt. I was in a state of euphoria, calling out Victor’s name as I experienced an orgasm like I had never had before. My legs wrapped around Victor, pulling him in deep.
The tight squeeze of me around him must have been too much for Victor. I could feel the warm spray of his hot desire filling me up inside. If I had not already been pregnant, I might have asked him to use protection. It was the heat of the moment though. It felt great and I never wanted it to end.
Victor pulled out of me and rolled over onto his back. I curled up next to his side.
“That was amazing. I’ve never felt anything like that.”
Chapter 10
Victor
Richard surprised me when he showed up at my house. He had been crying and looked upset. I don’t know what had happened between him and his roommates, but I wasn’t about to turn him away. The night we spent together was amazing. We fell asleep in each other’s arms.
That morning, we woke up and I fixed some breakfast for Richard and myself. Nothing special. Eggs and sausage with biscuits. Richard looked happy. I wanted him to remain that way. He was an amazing man. I can’t imagine what the argument was about.
I wanted to be there to support him. I had to know what was going on though. I didn’t mind being his support crutch, but I couldn’t help him if I didn’t know what the problem was.
“Richard, I know you had a fight with your roommates last night. I don’t want to pry into it, but was it about us? Did you tell them that you were dating me and they got mad?’
My sweet Richard crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back in the chair. He shook his head. “No, it wasn’t about you. I haven’t meant to keep you a secret from them.”
“If the argument wasn’t about me, then what is going on? You came over here looking really upset. I want to understand but you need to tell me.”
I rose from my place at the table to clear the dishes. I placed them into the sink and would clean them later. I turned around to lean against the kitchen counter.
Richard sighed as he uncrossed his arms. His hands perched onto his lap. “Okay, but I didn’t want to tell you because I really like you. I thought it might change the way you feel about me.”
This was news to me. What kind of secret was he hiding that would make me think differently of him? I leaned against the counter more, my hands gripped onto the edge.
“I doubt anything you say will make me change my opinion of you Richard. I love you. That hasn’t changed since we started dating. You can tell me.”
Leaning back into his chair, he exhaled before he started to explain. “I. Well, you know that I had a boyfriend before you. David. He and I. It was foolish and we got together one night when my roommates were out. I was stupid and thought he loved me.”
This wasn’t new to me. He had told me about David before. I knew of him and, so far, he had not come around to try to win back Richard’s affection.
“Is this about him? Did he come back and that is why you had the fight with your roommates?” I was trying to follow where this was going, but I didn’t see the connection. Why would this have made him so upset?
“No, it is not about David trying to get me back. I
messed up. I spent the night with him. Before I met you, I found out that I was pregnant. David didn’t want anything to do with me or the baby. I told my roommates last night about the pregnancy. They said it was my fault for not telling them first. That they could have talked to David to change his mind to stay with me.”
The news hit me like a ton of bricks. I staggered over to the chair to slide down into it. The man that I had been dating for the past month was pregnant. I didn’t mind spending money on Richard, but he was going to have a baby. I wasn’t sure that I would be ready for that kind of expense. I managed to save a little bit when I could. Supporting Richard and a baby. Could I really handle that?
My hand lifted to my head to run through my hair. I let it rest on my head, scratching my fingers over my scalp. “Pregnant? You’re going to be a father?” I inhaled deeply, leaning over to stare at the floor. My hands rested on my knees as I took all this in.
“Yes Victor! I’m pregnant! That is the important part, but my roommates didn’t see my side of it. They turned on me when they found out about the baby just like David turned on me. Are you going to turn on me too?”
Richard looked like he was on the verge of crying. I shook my head a few times. “What? No, I would never turn on you. It is heavy news to process is all.” I sat up straight to look at Richard. He had stood up from the table. His hands placed on his hips.
“You say that you love me but then you act like this. I’m going through a really tough time right now Vick. I need someone to be there for me. I thought I could depend on you. Not because I was looking for a father for my baby. I thought because you loved me that you would be there for me.”
He turned away from me and started to storm off toward the door. He was misreading the situation completely. “Richard, wait!”
Following after Richard, he was going outside to his car. I caught up to him and put my arms around him. He let out a scream, turning around to beat his hands against my chest. I did my best to calm him. My fingers caressed across his head. After a few moments, I heard him sobbing. His face buried against my chest. My shirt soaking up his tears.
