“What do you mean?” he asked.
“Something happened?” Aunt Penny rushed him, her hands clasped to her chest. “Oh Trevor, did you fall in love?”
“In love?” His mother looked at his romantic aunt and shook her head. “He’s a Hawk, Penny. Hawks don’t fall in love.”
Trevor’s stomach churned. He’d known as much all of his life but to think his mother was under that assumption as well? It didn’t bode well for his future, did it? What if she knew of the happy Hawks he’d seen at Hawksfell? Would she still believe that they didn’t fall in love?
“Is that truly what you believe, Mother?”
She tilted her head to one side and smiled up at him. “You’re a sweet boy, Trevor. An ideal son. But I have no illusions about your steadfastness in regards to romance.”
His smile wavered just a bit. She certainly had a point there. Penny knew of his many liaisons but he never worried over what his mother might think of them. He’d never given a thought to hiding his proclivities from her or his aunts. But now? Now he felt lower than his father.
“Well, something is amiss,” Patty sniffed, her hands on her hips. “He is troubled.”
Trevor bristled to be the subject of the close scrutiny of all three of them at once. He struggled to keep his pleasant expression in place. To hide the truth of the turmoil swirling inside of him as they stared at him.
Penny stepped back, her big blue eyes watery. “Tell me you didn’t break her heart.”
His mouth dropped open. She couldn’t know a thing about Ivy. Could she? “Who are you talking about?”
“The woman whose heart you stole,” she answered.
“There is a woman?” his mother asked. “Oh, no.”
She fell to crying and he didn’t know what to do. “Mother, please don’t cry. I didn’t break anyone’s heart.” Even as he said it, he knew it was a lie. He’d broken more than Ivy and Grayson’s hearts. He’d broken their trust, not that he’d ever deserved it.
“I left Hawksfell with hearts intact.”
“Hearts?” Patty asked.
He realized what he’d said and that his shrewd aunt hadn’t missed his slip. “What I meant to say—”
“You fell in love with two, didn’t you?” Penny asked.
He gaped at his aunts. “I didn’t…Yes, there were two but love wasn’t a part of it.”
His mother shook her head, tears flowing down her cheeks. “I prayed you wouldn’t be like your father. And now you’ve broken not one but two hearts.”
“I didn’t do any such thing!” he protested. This conversation was rapidly getting out of hand and he fought to contain the danger he sensed coming straight toward him. Danger in the form of the harshest truth he’d ever known.
“Please, aunts. Mother. Don’t fret about my heart or theirs.”
“Why not?” Patty demanded, crossing her arms over her chest. “You loved both of them and left them.”
He opened his mouth to argue, then sank into the nearest chair. “I did.”
His aunts still stood together, Patty wearing a scowl while Penny’s face was wreathed in a smile.
“You fell in love!” Penny cried. “Oh, I knew it could happen! Again and again I told Patty and your mother that you weren’t like you’re father. She never believed me, but I was right!”
His heart skittered in his chest. “The three of you talked about me?”
“There is little else to occupy us, Trevor,” Aunt Patty put in.
He heard a sound to his right, a soft cry that made his breath catch. He turned, catching his mother’s awed expression.
“Mother…”
His mother fell to her knees before him, taking his hands in hers.
“You loved two women, Trevor?” she asked.
He looked into her blue eyes and slowly shook his head. “A man and a woman, Mother. I’m sorry if that isn’t something you expected.”
To his astonishment she waved his words away. “Love is love, if you truly felt it. Did you?”
“I did,” he admitted on a breath. “I loved them.”
“Well?” Patty took steps toward him and his mother. “Do you love them still?”
He gazed at his no-nonsense aunt, and a brand new truth burst through the clouds in his mind. “I… I do. My God, I do.”
“Then return to them,” Penny cooed. “Go back to Hawksfell and bring them home to Heatherton.”
He looked from his aunts back to his mother. Love showed in her eyes as she gave him a firm nod. “You love these people, Trevor. And they love you, of course.”
Somehow he found a smile. “Of course?”
“How could they not?” she asked, throwing her arms around his neck.
He hugged his mother to him, then pulled back. “Do you think they’ll come back with me?”
“If you do it right,” Penny said, her voice holding a musical lilt on the last word.
“And how is that?” he asked.
“Use that Hawk charm and sweep them off their feet,” Patty said with a firm nod.
He laughed out loud as he felt himself take the first real breath since he’d mucked things up last night. He hugged his mother again and stood. “I’ll go directly. I only hope it’s not too late.”
As he strode to the door his mother called to him. He turned to face her. “Yes?”
“You’re not your father, Trevor. And I couldn’t be more proud of you.”
Tears of a different kind gathered in his eyes and he hurried out to the motor that still stood on the drive. He had a lot to make up for if he wanted his two loves in his life. And he knew just the way to start.
With the truth.

Ivy sobbed against Grayson’s chest, unable to do more than that for the whole of the day. Now it was evening and she was still heartbroken. It was like half of her heart had simply ceased to beat. She breathed in Grayson’s fresh scent, finding some comfort in it.
“Were we nothing to him, Grayson?”
She didn’t think Grayson believed as much but Trevor’s actions could certainly be construed in that manner.
“No, Ivy,” he said. “That cannot be true.”
“Then why could he leave us so easily?” She bit her lip, then shook her head. “It’s because of my wantonness, isn’t it?”
Grayson stroked her cheek. “You are not a wanton, sweetheart.”
Her heart skittered. “Am I your sweetheart?”
“Yes,” he said, his gray eyes sparkling. “I know I cannot be everything to you but I shall try.”
“You are certainly enough,” she said with a nod. “I admit I’ll always miss Trevor, though.”
He held her close. “As will I.”
“Then come live with me,” Trevor said from the doorway.
Ivy blinked hard as she took in his disheveled appearance. “Trevor!”
“I’m so sorry I left,” he rushed out. He shut the door. “I all but flew back here, Ivy. Tell me I’m not too late. Grayson, please.”
Grayson leaned back a bit, keeping his arms around her. “That depends.”
The two men exchanged a long look of some import, then Trevor spread his hands wide. “I was very wrong to leave as I did, Grayson. I need you both in my life.”
“Both of us?” Ivy had to know.
“Yes, love.” He breathed in deeply and sighed. “I love you both.”
Ivy squealed and jumped out of Grayson’s arms and into Trevor’s. “I love you, Trevor. You and Grayson.” She buried her face against his throat and breathed in his spicy scent. “I don’t care if that makes me a wanton.”
“You are not a wanton,” Grayson said, coming to stand behind her. “You are the woman we love.”
Trevor and Grayson shared a lovely kiss and then Trevor settled her against him again. “You’re the woman we’re both going to have. Tonight.”
Her mouth fell open as she imagined everything they would do to her. “Now?”
Grayson chuckled and turne
d her to face him. “Do you want us?”
She didn’t even attempt to hide her excitement. “Oh, yes!”
Quick work was made of losing all their layers of clothes and she was soon pressed between her two men. They were hard and strong and hot against her straining body, and her pussy wept with need.
“I don’t know the way of these things,” she admitted between kisses to Grayson’s lips. “Show me.”
Grayson nuzzled her throat and settled her more fully against his erection. She straddled his thighs, aching for more as Trevor pinched and teased her breasts.
“I’ll take your lovely bottom, Ivy.” He ran his tongue over her back, making her shiver. “While you ride Grayson to heaven. What do you think about that?”
Their hands were all over her and she could scarcely think at all. Grayson shifted and his cock was tantalizingly close to her center. Trevor pressed against her, his hard length easing between her cheeks as he continued to stroke and tease her breasts.
“I want it all,” she admitted on a sigh, letting her head fall back against Trevor’s chest. “I want you both.”
Grayson nibbled the sensitive skin at the side of her neck. “Good. Very good.”
“I stopped by my guest room, Ivy,” Trevor said. “For the cream.”
She opened her eyes and looked at him over her shoulder. “Cream?”
“To ease his way,” Grayson answered for him.
“Oh.”
She put aside all thoughts of how big he was and how he would fit when Grayson began to finger her pussy. She was soaking wet, ready for him. And eager for what Trevor had in store for her. She didn’t have to wait long for her men. They seemed as eager as she was.
“I’ll go easy, love,” Trevor said with a touch of strain in his voice. “I’ve been dreaming of fucking your pretty little ass.”
“Trevor,” she sighed as he stroked her secret hole. “Oh, that feels…different.”
He kissed the back of her neck. A finger teased the hole again, making its way inside her. “Good, different?”
She felt her body ease his way as two fingers began to work inside. “Yes…”
The broad head of his cock was poised to enter the hole and she braced herself. With tiny, gentle movements he pushed inside.
“I’m in,” he rasped. “You’re tight, Ivy.”
“And sweet,” Grayson said as he worked his thumb over her clit. “Let Trevor in and I’ll join him.”
She closed her eyes, letting them take control. They were both so skilled, so delightfully naughty as they each began to work her. A thin sheen of sweat coated her body as Trevor moved deeper and faster. It was amazing but she needed more. She needed Grayson.
“Please, Grayson,” she said on a breath. “Come inside me.”
“Yes, Grayson,” Trevor groaned. “I want to feel you, too.”
Grayson shifted and in one smooth move Trevor withdrew a bit as Grayson pulled her down on him. Pleasure spiked through her as she was impaled by his huge cock. He held onto her hips and lifted her as Trevor sank back inside. As if they were made for such loving, they began to stroke in unison. In and out, alternating as they slid against her. Against her breasts. Against her back.
Their hard bodies were soon as slick as hers, moving and driving her higher and higher toward orgasm.
“I can’t hold on!” she cried.
“Then let go, love,” Trevor said. “Come as much as you’d like. I’m so very close.”
I am, too,” Grayson rushed out. “I feel you, Trevor.”
“I feel you inside her pussy.” He kissed her cheek. “This is amazing.”
Ivy soon could hear nothing but their harsh breathing and murmured words of encouragement. Her climax was barreling toward her, almost frightening in intensity.
“I’m coming,” she gasped, throwing her head back as she rode Grayson. “Hold me!”
“I’ve got you,” Grayson said.
“Me, too,” Trevor said. “We love you.”
That sent her over the edge. Wave after wave of pleasure pulsed as she collapsed between her men. They moved faster still, kissing and stroking everywhere their hands touched her. She came again, sobbing against Grayson’s chest as he exploded high inside of her.
“I can’t hold on,” Trevor said. He let out a shout of completion and held her tight up against him as he spilled his seed. “My God, that was incredible.”
She nodded her agreement. He withdrew and fell beside Grayson on her narrow bed. She was sprawled over Grayson, still holding him tight inside of her, and she opened her eyes and smiled lazily at the both of them.
“I love you, Ivy.” Trevor, kissing her lips. “And you, Grayson.” He kissed Grayson also. “Forever.”
* * * *
“Forever?” Grayson gently lifted Ivy off of him. “What do you mean?”
Trevor shifted on the bed, rolling onto his side. Ivy’s bed was so damn narrow. He faced them, seeing the wariness in their eyes and knowing he put it there.
“I want to take you both back to Heatherton House with me. Ivy as my wife, and Grayson as much a part of our marriage as I.”
Ivy leaned up, holding her hand over her mouth. “Truly, Trevor?”
“Yes. If you’ll both have me.”
Grayson smiled and Trevor felt it to his soul. “Tell him yes, Ivy. Put him out of his misery.”
“Oh, yes!” She threw herself at him. “Yes, Trevor. I want to be with you and Grayson forever.”
Trevor kissed her and they were a tangle of legs in her bed.
“I have a very large bed at Heatherton,” he observed.
“Good,” Grayson said. “We’ll need it.”
Trevor laughed and closed his eyes. He’d nearly lost his chance with his two loves because of a false truth he’d told himself. That Hawks can’t love. He should have realized he wasn’t his father’s son years ago. He loved his mother and aunts with all that he was. He found he loved Grayson and Ivy as much.
They were his and he was theirs and that was the only truth that mattered.
