She stood next to him as he hovered above the ground, his red eye focused on the screen. Looking at the screen she asked, “Who is this?”
“A new inmate. He is the son of my maker. We need to watch this one carefully. I want you to report all your sessions with him directly to me.”
“Yes, of course,” she said and touched the screen. “He doesn’t look like much?”
The floating orb turned to stare at her with his burning eye the color of blood. “Looks can be deceiving. This one is going to be trouble. I am running predictions and extrapolations through my programming and things are not in our favor.”
“What’s his name?”
“Zeek Star.”
