“You like to be my naughty girl. But you will do as you’re told.” He stressed the last words pushing into her with a grunt. Slamming her into the bed with his fierce and frantic need, he had held it too long. All day long. When he saw the video, he wanted to rush back and take her. It had taken some restraint on his part to first discipline her and then tie her up, but it was worth it. She was on the edge of ecstasy, and he was following closely. Their bodies rocked with raging arousal. Finally, as he was on the edge of his own release, he commanded her to come. Shuddering hard she experienced an intense orgasm after holding it back all day. As she choked and arched into him, he plunged into her and found his release.
Afterward, he untied her and held her close. Picking her up he carried her to the tub and eased her in, gently rubbing her back. He carried her back to the bed, keeping her in his arms where they held each other and slept. Neither of them wanting the next day to come when they would have to separate for a time with so many unanswered questions.
Chapter Seventeen
Her apartment seemed small and grungy compared to the accommodations she had grown accustomed to and missing Lawrence she felt dejected and blah. She faked a smile but got tired quickly of talking about her recent articles. Beth guessed right away something was wrong.
“You should be thrilled. You just had the best professional week of your life. This is it.” She danced in excitement for her friend. Then abruptly she stopped and stared at Selena, mouth agape. “Eee!” She screeched. “You met someone! Tell me all about him.”
Selena tried to look shocked. “I did not.” She protested.
“Oh come on Selena. This is one thing you cannot lie to me about, so spill or I will find out my way.” Beth threatened with a wicked smile on her face, and she was right, Selena could not lie to her.
Sighing she replied. “Kinda.”
“Kinda. What the hell is that?” Beth took a step forward.
“Okay, you got me. Was it that obvious?” Selena asked, stalling.
“Nope. Only to me. I have radar for that shit, and you got some. Something. So spill.” Beth laughed.
“There is nothing I can spill. I crossed the line getting personal while I worked, it could never work out. But I will say, it awakened in me, long lost…well something.” Selena repeated Beth’s words and blushed. Usually, she would tell Beth anything, and she was the one friend she had who was at least accepting of her quirkiness and had a bit of a kinky streak herself.
“Ooh, girl. We need to sit down and break out the wine for this one.” Beth clapped her hands and gestured to a chair for Selena. Pouring wine for both of them, she sat and waited for Selena to respond.
Shaking her head, she didn’t know what to say. “No really. It was not a fun experience and yes we will need much more wine.”
“Not fun?” Beth said with concern.
“It was supposed to be a bit of fun but became much more intense…I can’t really talk about it.” Selena said simply. There was a knock on the door and Selena jumped at the chance for an interruption.
Opening the door Lawrence stepped inside, closed the door and grabbed her to him, kissing her long and hard. Selena’s legs went weak, and she did not pull away, even with Beth sitting, mouth agape, a few feet away. Finally, Lawrence pulled away long enough to register they were not alone.
“My roommate Beth,” Selena said, still holding onto Lawrence for balance, wondering what he was doing there.
“Oh, I was not informed about a roommate. We will catch up later then.” And with that, he turned and walked out the door.
Selena was too stunned to chase after him and too overwhelmed to discuss it with Beth, who fortunately was soon distracted by her boyfriend coming home. Selena left them in the living room and went to try to call Lawrence, to message him, but she got no response. She spent a sleepless night wondering and wishing she had an excuse not to see her family the next day.
Sitting down, listening to her siblings argue about who had the most exciting week, Selena shifted in her seat. All she could think about was Lawrence appearing at her apartment last night. It was a strange obsession, but he seemed to not be able to stop himself. Lawrence was drawn to Selena, and she was overwhelmed with arousal, excitement, and intrigue. Could he really be feeling what she was feeling or was he just taunting her, knowing how much she wanted him? Staring at her uneaten food, she realized everyone was staring at her. They had asked her a question and were waiting for a response.
Tentatively she responded “yes” and everyone nodded in approval and went back to eating their meals. Selena laughed as she started to realize that the best lies were simple and vague. The lie and her secret relationship made her excited. Thinking about their time together and how he ravaged her was a memory she pushed away for it was inappropriate for a family dinner. Fortunately, Selena assumed Beth could keep the secret.
As they ate, the doorbell rang. Her father insisted they ignore it as interrupting the family dinner was the worst offense. The doorbell ringing offender did not give up easily and rang the bell three times in quick succession. Looking annoyed her father almost got up when silence filled the room. Everyone looked behind Selena mouths open. Finally wondering what everyone was staring at Selena began to turn around when she heard a voice speak.
“Sorry to interrupt but I need Selena. It is urgent.” Lawrence’s voice was deep and demanding and hearing it caused Selena’s stomach to do flips. She sat still for a moment, forcing her face to remain neutral, calming the giddy shaking that was starting.
Pushing her chair away from the table, she whispered an “excuse me,” and moved to get up.
“Wait. Can’t your friend join us?” He dad asked. “You know how your mother dislikes supper being interrupted.”
“Dad. That is Lawrence Scriva.” Her brother spoke, still staring. Selena’s body froze as her eyes darted between Lawrence and her family.
“My apologies. I will wait until you are finished.” Lawrence spoke, his tone lowered. He stood aside and looked on.
“No. Please sit down. We will push over, and you can slide right in beside our Selena. Maybe you can talk to her here.” Selena’s mom spoke up.
Lawrence sat down looking bemused. He replied “Thank you. I didn’t realize Selena had such a large family.”
“And we didn’t realize she was on a personal name basis with the richest guy in town.” Her brother spoke up again, and Selena shot him a look.
A plate was put in front of Lawrence, and he was invited to eat. Selena was sure he obliged to keep everyone quiet, and he looked ready to flee. Of course, only Selena noticed to everyone else he was a poised as ever. Finally, after supper and an excruciating dessert of apple pie a la mode, Selena escaped into the backyard with Lawrence.
“What are you really doing here?” She asked.
“I am here for you Selena. I need you.” Lawrence sighed, whispering into her ear. “You didn’t tell your family about me?”
“No. I couldn’t. They are so different from me. Plus, what was to tell. Everything about you is mine, for me only.” Selena said.
“Have you thought about the contract?” He asked, his dark eyes pleading.
Oh, how she wanted to kiss those pouting lips. She looked toward her parent’s house, the house where she grew up. "I cannot talk about that here. What am I going to say to my family about why you are here? My dad hates it when dinner is interrupted.”
“I am going to ask him permission to take you on a date.” He replied simply. “Now are you going to answer my question? I need you to be my naughty girl Selena.”
Chapter Eighteen
Lawrence stood looking at her. She knew he would not speak until she answered him. A small smile tried to sneak up her face, and she forced it down. Didn’t he know that she was his? Signing the contract excited her and made her nervous. Never in her wildest fantasies when she first saw Lawrence Scriva did she ever conceive it could really happen. Even now, after all, that happened between t
hem, it would be easier to believe she fell and hit her head and was now caught up in some wet dream.
Chewing on her lips, she felt pressured to say something. “Yes, Maestro.”
Her words were almost inaudible as she stepped closer and bent her head down to speak. Wrapping his arms to embrace her, he stopped short as he looked up at the dark house.
“My timing couldn’t be worse I suppose. With all the lights on at the house, it looks like we have an audience, and not the fun kind; the nosy family kind.” Lawrence said, straightening out and trying to keep from touching her. “Well let’s get back in there so I can get you out of here.”
He held her hand as they walked back toward her parent’s house. Once inside he let go of her hand and followed her to the living room where her family was having coffee. Everyone stared as they entered and Selena was trying not to blush. Lawrence strode into the room and sat down on the edge of a sofa, across from Selena’s dad.
“Mr. Grier, I would like to ask your permission to take your daughter out.” He said pointedly.
Almost spitting out his coffee, her dad sat up and looked at the man, ten years younger than himself. When he didn’t say anything right away, Lawrence continued, “After getting to know her professionally, her unique personality and fresh thinking have piqued my interest, and I seek to pursue a relationship with her.”
Laughing on the inside Selena watched with interest as the whole room was rapt on the conversation.
Rubbing his eyes for a moment, her dad looked at Lawrence quizzically. “And why would a man of your profound reach be interested in Selena.”
Before she could mutter a sarcastic, thanks, dad or throw something at his head, Lawrence spoke up speaking in his authoritarian voice. “As you know, Selena is an amazing woman. Her intellect and talents have intrigued me, and we share a similar sense of humor. We enjoy each other’s company immensely. And so, out of a sign of respect from one man to another I wanted to state my intentions. As a man of ‘profound reach’, as you put it, there may be media coverage that shows us together. So, to be honorable, I am here to ask your agreement.”
“Well, er. Fine. Yes. Very respectable of you.” Dad muttered not knowing what to say.
“Wonderful. Now I must be off. Selena, can I give you a ride home?” He looked at her and she just about melted.
You can ride me alright, she thought to herself and instead replied, “Oh yes, please.”
“It was nice meeting all of you, and I expect to see more of you. Have a wonderful evening. Oh, and sorry for interrupting supper, how about if next time, it is on me.” Lawrence said, garnering smiles from everyone. He touched Selena’s shoulder and said more quietly to her, “I have to return a quick call so give me ten minutes before meeting at the car. Ok?”
“Yes.” She said, and her stomach flipped. He wasn’t supposed to be back yet, and he seemed to have come just for her. She hoped they could make it out of the driveway before she jumped him.
Lawrence left, and her family began all speaking at once.
“He is a keeper.” Her mom said.
“Selena,” her sister whined. “He’s gorgeous. Does he have a brother?”
“That guy is loaded, Selena!” Her brother said.
“Grant, she has been writing articles about him and his company all week, she knows who he is.” Her dad responded sternly, looking concerned.
“You must be really good on your knees to have gotten him interested.” Her other brother quipped. Their mom smacked him upside the head and dad demanded an apology. Selena bit back a smile knowing he was the closest to being right.
She needed to get out of there. Her family was making her crazy and would never know the real her anyway. If a blowjob was too risqué for them, the real fun stuff was best not mentioned at all. Families sure complicated things, and if this continued the way it seemed to be, she might have to meet Lawrence’s family, though he never mentioned them, not once. Selena told herself it was because they were always naked, and in fact, she wanted to get him naked again just as soon as she could. Too bad she had to go home and then to work tomorrow, and he had to go, wherever.
Chapter Nineteen
The car Lawrence had waiting was a limo, but he had had the good sense to park it around the corner. Good, she didn’t need her family running out, screeching and making a scene. Knowing Lawrence was in the back seat she climbed in facing him, locked eyes on him and straddled him, wiggling suggestively while he finished his phone call. Yes, she was asking for it. She hoped he would hang up and bend her over.
Hands on her waist, eyes on her chest, he ended his call and kissed her pushing her off him with his lips and hands. She slid in beside him; lips still locked on his and saw where he gestured to the bench across from him out of the corner of her eye. A man was sitting there, dressed in black, mouth open, watching her. Immediately she closed her legs, loosened her lips and adjusted her clothing.
“Sorry about the intrusion. My business partner dropped by unexpectedly. We have to make a stop before I take you home.” Lawrence spoke, his voice cold.
“Ok. I am sorry. I thought you were alone.” Selena said, shrinking into her seat.
The man across from her leered at her before speaking. “Sorry for interrupting.”
Lawrence insisted she wait in the car when they stopped in a back alley. It was dark, and she was nervous but he assured her the driver was there, and he would be right back. Well, he was not right back, and she fell asleep, stretched out on the bench before he arrived back. Exhausted, she barely noticed when he slid in and lifted her head onto his lap. She sighed smelling his comforting scent and fell back asleep.
The next thing she knew she was being carried up her stairs. She shook her head with a start and found Lawrence’s chest, her arms wrapped around his shoulders. They were climbing up to her apartment.
“Time to get you home.” He whispered in her ear, “Though I’d rather take you with me.”
“Mmmm,” she mumbled into his chest. “I’d rather you take me anywhere.”
He set her down at her apartment door, and she fumbled for a key. Grabbing her he kissed her, pulling her tight. “I will have a car pick you up from work tomorrow. We need to finalize our agreement.”
“Always the romantic.” She teased.
“Are you talking back to me?” He groaned as she opened the door.
“Yes, you better spank me.” She giggled. Lawrence growled and chased her into the apartment, pinning her to the kitchen table.
She put her bum on the table and wrapped her legs around him, locking him into her. Eyes wide he pulled her dress off in one rough motion, running his hands up and down her body.
“No, I am going to enjoy you.”
He kissed her face, neck and breasts following with his hand. When she tried to pull off his shirt, he slapped her hands away. She moved to his pants, and he grabbed her into his arms and pinned her against the wall, arms above her head. She rocked into him moaning with desire. He unzipped his pants, and slipped into her, mostly still clothed. Quickly and frantically he touched her soft skin, while she bounced on top of him. Tasting her breasts and stimulating her nipple with his tongue, she cried out and then clasped a hand over her mouth to stop her from screaming in ecstasy. He rocked into her harder moaning deep and low and grunted his release.
“Come to bed with me.” She begged.
“Oh Selena, not tonight. I should already be long gone.” He scratched his head and looked toward the door, still holding her naked in his arms. Looking her in the eyes for a moment, he eventually put her down in front of him. Adjusting himself, he watched as she crawled to the floor to retrieve her dress. Seeing her on all fours made his heart jump, and he wanted to take her home to play. To his home, where she belonged.
“Who the hell are you?” A male voice boomed in the darkness.
Lawrence didn’t move; Selena jumped up with a shriek. It was Beth’s boyfriend, Ted. And his jaw dropped when he saw Selena, naked, hold
ing her dress up to cover herself. Beth appeared beside him and turned on the kitchen light.
“Oh My God!” Beth shouted as Selena snuck behind Lawrence and slipped on her dress.
“You must be the roommate, Beth right, and Ted? Selena has told me so much about you. We will have to get together for dinner soon. Maybe this weekend.” Lawrence smiled his billionaire, I-can-do-anything smile and Beth and Ted nodded, awestruck. “Well, it has been lovely to meet you. Selena my dear, you get some sleep, and we will talk in the morning.”
Kissing her gently on each cheek he waved to them and left the apartment. Selena turned to the stares of Beth and Ted. They didn’t speak until they were sure he was gone.
“Lawrence Scriva is the guy?” Beth spoke in a hurry. “He is gorgeous, rich and amazing. How on earth did you end up with him?”
“Long story and I am tired. Can we talk about it later?” Selena asked.
“You are lucky Ted is here, or I’d make you stay up all night and spill it all.” Beth wagged her finger and pulled Ted back into the bedroom.
Chapter Twenty
In the morning she messaged Lawrence, asking him to call before she got to work at 9. She didn’t hear from him until 10:30 after an awkward staff meeting where she had to detail her most recent assignment (without visualizing her wrists in restraints). The articles spoke for themselves, or that is what everyone kept saying, and now she was being moved from court to business, which was technically a promotion. Rubbing her eyes, she tried to catch up on emails and get back into the routine of work, but she was feeling drained. Her phone rang at 10:30 when she was at her desk debating if it was better off to join everyone in the coffee room, or stay at her cubicle in silence.
