The Easily Defeated Hero's Monster Girl Adventure Page 11

by Amanda Clover

Somewhere far away, you hear Morelle saying, “Goodbye, Lucas. Thanks for the meal.”

  Darkness closes in around you...

  The End?

Receive the Judgment of Veleda >

  Begin your quest

You give the sword in your hand a last look, shove it into the sheath, and say to Theora, “I am ready to begin the quest.”

She raises an eyebrow and looks at you dubiously. “You are certain?”

“Of course not,” you say. “But I don’t think you are going to get me more ready in one night. It’s time to kick some monster girl ass.”

“That’s the spirit,” she says, giving you a playful punch in the arm that really, really, really hurts. “That sort of positive attitude will really help when you’re being eaten alive by a monster girl.”

“Ah,” you say, rubbing the arm and feeling particularly stupid. “Is there some reason why you can’t just go fight the monster girl yourself?”

“There is a very good reason,” says Theora. “It’s against the rules. Servants of the goddess like me are not allowed to directly fight with mortals, which includes monster girls.”

“I thought angels were known for smiting,” you say.

“Smiting is a different department,” says Theora, waving her hand as if that should explain everything. “I handle world-saving-hero-affairs. Believe me, one day I will be promoted to smiting. Maybe if you actually manage to save the world.”

Theora grabs you by your shoulders, turns you around, and points you roughly north from your farmhouse. She reaches an arm over your shoulder and points across the field and into the darkness. In the direction of the Woodley and Cardin farms about a half a mile away.

“That way,” she says. “I feel her evil. She is a demon type.”

“D-demon?” Your guts flip-flop at the thought of facing some horned, red-skinned giant like a demon from sermons.

“Don’t be afraid,” whispers Theora, her lips against your ear. “Demon type monster girls are no more powerful than any other type and this one feels low level. She is there, I know it, and I can also sense humans in grave danger. Their life force has faded while we have wasted time here at your farm.”

Theora’s last words fill you with determination. You grip the handle of your sword.

“I will defeat her,” you say.

“That’s the right attitude,” says Theora, giving you a smack on the back. “And if you can’t, fear not: Veleda will bring you back from any unfortunate ending and let you try again. This is your first monster girl. Even the goddess is expecting it to be a struggle. Now go!”

She gives you another smack and you stumble forward. You glance back at her over your shoulder and she waves encouragingly, gesturing for you to continue. You take a deep breath, push down your fears, and set off through the darkness and toward the Woodley and Cardin farms.

Both houses are quiet and dark in the night. The Cardin farm is slightly nearer, so you approach it first. The Cardin livestock is still in the field and there is an overturned wheelbarrow of turnips near the door to the two-story farmhouse. You approach the front door, your heart beating wildly in your chest. You knock lightly and call out in a quivering voice, “H-hello? Mr. Cardin? Mrs. Cardin?”

You hear a faint moan from inside the house. Whoever is inside is in grave danger. You back up, set your shoulder, and charge towards the front door. Just as you are about to slam your shoulder into the door, it swings open and you barrel into the plump body of Mrs. Cardin. She cries out as you both spill onto the floor of the rustic house’s dining room, knocking over chairs and spilling a bucket of water.

Mr. Cardin is already sprawled on the floor with a folded, damp washcloth on his head. He looks deathly ill, his eyes dark and sunken and his skin pale. He weakly lifts his head to look at you as you untangle yourself from Mrs. Cardin, accidentally placing your hand on her large, soft bosom in the process.

“Lucas?” She looks at you with confusion. “I was hoping you were the country guard. What are you doing here?”

“This is no place for you, boy,” groans Mr. Cardin. “Evil is on the loose.”

Mrs. Cardin gives the sickly farmer a cross look. She shushes him to quiet and eases him back onto the floor, cushioning his head with a pillow and ladling more water over his forehead. You hear another moan from the upstairs.

“Was that Benny?” You ask, remembering the Cardins have a son and a daughter.

Mrs. Cardin takes your hands and walks you away from her husband. She keeps her voice low as she explains.

“A traveler came in the evening, a beautiful woman in a cloak who said she needed our help. My husband, gods forgive him, he saw that girl and he couldn’t resist. He let her into the house. But… she was evil.” Mrs. Cardin looks as if she is going to cry. She squeezes your hands for strength. “Once she was in here, she kissed my husband seemed to suck up his life force. When she saw my daughter, she did something to her.”

  “Did something?” You ask.

Mrs. Cardin covers her face with her hand, struggling not to cry.

“I couldn’t stop it,” says Mrs. Cardin. “This woman, this temptress, kissed my daughter and turned Morelle… she looks different now. She looks, like a harlot. Like a beautiful harlot. And a demon.”

“What about Benny?” You ask, flicking your gaze upstairs.

“He is alive, but the traveler, she took my boy’s innocence,” says Mrs. Cardin. “I heard them upstairs, but Morelle wouldn’t let me try to save my boy. She kept whispering horrible lewd things in my ears and grabbing me inappropriately. It was like she was enjoying hearing her brother being defiled. Then the woman left.”

“What about Morelle?” You ask, your grip tightening on your sword.

“Gods help her,” cries Mrs. Cardin. “She left about an hour ago. She said she was hungry and… and she set off for the Woodley farm.”

“I will find her,” you say and start to turn towards the door.

Mrs. Cardin grabs you suddenly and with such violence that her hands feel like claws digging into your arms.

“Don’t hurt her, Lucas,” cries Mrs. Cardin. “Promise me you won’t. She’s a… she’s a good girl!”

“I will do what I can for her,” you say, shaking your arms loose of the woman’s grip. She stares at you in despair as you leave through the door. You glance back at her over your shoulder, but the door has already swung closed. You can hear Mrs. Cardin sobbing through the door.

As you set off for the Woodley house, you mull over the story that Mrs. Cardin told. A beautiful traveler wearing a cloak nearly killed her husband and son and transformed her daughter into a demon, possibly a succubus. That traveler must have been a powerful demoness and one that you hope you will not have to face in battle.

Dale and Ernie Woodley are bachelor brothers in middle age. Their farm is the largest and most prosperous in the area, with a large herd of goats that earns them ample money every harvest time. You can hear the goats bleating in the night as you approach the Woodley house. No candles or lanterns burn behind the house’s windows. Dale and Ernie are both quite ugly and coarse and neither man has managed to find a wife. They built the house together to grow old and fairly rich growing corn and raising their goats.

They are not bad men. When your father died, Dale offered to marry your mother. She declined, but he gave her a large amount of corn and goat’s cheese anyway.

You climb the steps to the porch of their house and warily approach the front door, your hand on your sword.

“Ohhhh, please, I can’t bear anymore,” you hear a man’s voice moan.

“Quiet,” replies a woman. “I know you’ve always wanted this!”

Your heart pounds as you quietly push open the door and slip into the dark house. You hear the weak moans of a man emanating from the back of the house. You pass through a kitchen with a bottle of wine on the table, and pass a bedroom where Ernie lies on his bed, wide eyes sunken into his head like Mr. Cardin.
He was always a heavyset man, but now he looks unhealthily so, with his paunch sunken in on his stomach and his chubby face seeming to hang loose from his sunken eyes and yawning mouth. He groans weakly and you see his shriveled cock is exposed.

“Pllllease,” you hear Dale weakly moan from the bedroom next door. “You’re killing me.”

“Yes,” laughs a woman’s voice. “I spared your brother, but I don’t think I am going to stop for you. I know you always wanted to feel my little pussy on your cock. Now drown in the pleasure, Dale!”

The lewd words and the strange, sensual tone to the voice makes your cock twitch in your trousers despite your fears. You round the corner, stepping to the doorway of the bedroom, and you are confronted with a sight of shocking erotic horror.

Morelle is locked in carnal embrace with Dale Woodley. The young, red-headed woman was always a freckled beauty, but her beauty has burst forth to full, demonic bloom. Her slender physique now boasts shapely breasts and wide, sensual hips that seem to swallow up Dale’s shriveled body. He is beneath her, even more pale and sunken than his brother, and Morelle’s juicy quim is dripping with his spunk as she rides atop him. She is facing the door and sees you immediately.

“What is this?” She laughs, stopping her ride atop Dale. Her eyes flash violet and it is only now that you see the demonic details of her transformation. She unfolds batlike wings from her back and reveals a fleshy tail with a thick tip with a glistening opening at the end of it. Horns curl from her forehead, making her seem more demonic, but not lessening her terrible beauty.

“Lucas LeBlanc?” She laughs and dismounts from Dale with a lewd slurp of her soaking quim. She hops easily to her feet, her breasts cradled in delicate lingerie, but her cunt bare and dripping. “What a pleasure to see you, Lucas. I was planning to pay you a visit when I was finished with the Woodleys.”

“Hellllp me,” croaks Dale from the bed.

“Quiet,” snaps Morelle. “He’s not going to help you. Are you, Lucas?”

“What are you doing to these men?” You demand.

“Doing?” She laughs and runs her hands over her creamy cleavage and down to her wide hips. “I am giving them what they desire. The Woodleys lusted after me and I gave them a pretty young girl to drain all their cum and send them away to their dreams.”

“Their dreams or their death?” You demand, your grip tightening on your sword.

“I don’t care, either way,” she laughs. “I need their power to ever be like Lady Rachelle. She is a truly powerful succubus. I am only a novice.”

“Lady Rachelle… that demon nearly killed your family!”

“They don’t understand the pleasure I can give.” She runs her fingers between her thighs, stroking her creamy cunt and pushing two fingers into her pink pussy. She bats her lashes and coos, “You understand, don’t you, Lucas? You want to know the pleasure of a succubus.”

She saunters towards you, her wings flexing and her tail curling around her wide hip.

  “Stay back,” you warn.

“Aw, but I have to get close to give you what you want,” she gasps, running her hand over her pussy once more.

You finally draw your sword, the blade lighting the dark hallway with its glow. Morelle takes a step back, her eyes wide, but her smile not fading.

“I’m sorry, Morelle,” you say. “But you have been turned into an abomination and I must strike you down. It is the only way for you to be saved.”

“So it’s a battle?” She bares her perfect smile in a predatory manner. “How exciting! Lady Rachelle said some boys might want to fight. I always assumed you would be a pushover. Now I get to use some of the power I sucked out of the Woodleys!”

Far from being afraid of you, Morelle seems delighted that she gets to fight. And you are less certain of your abilities than ever…

  What do you do?

  Wait

  Parley

  Attack

  Special Ability

  Surrender

  Give them the money

Your hands are tight fists that you want to swing in Johan Gedry’s smug face. He spits at your feet, practically daring you to split his lip or bust his nose. Your mother’s voice rings in your head, part of a memory from years ago of her holding a washcloth over your swollen eye as she softly scolded, “Fight if you must, Lucas, but there is nothing to be gained from starting a fight you cannot win.”

These three boys are armed and waiting for an excuse to use their weapons. You would likely lose your life if you tried to fight them over the money in your coin purse. What good would that do Genevieve? At least if you survive, you will still have some small chance of coming up with the money for her tuition in the next few days. With a slump of your shoulders and a grimace of anger, you accept your inevitable defeat.

“That’s right, Lucas,” says Johan Gedry. “Haven’t got a chance. Now hand over the money. That’s the absolute last time I’m asking.”

You tear the coin purse from your belt and toss it to Johan. He catches it and hefts it in his hand.

“A bit light, isn’t it?” He says to his brothers, “Search him.”

They grab you and shove you to your knees. One of the pudgy Gedry brothers knees you in the side. The other grabs your hair and pushes your face down in the dirty road. They find the apple you bought at market as a gift to yourself for your hard work. You hear them snap into it and begin eating it.

“Hardly even worth robbing you,” sneers Johan.

“I need that money to put my sister through school,” you say, your voice fraying with anger.

“Genevieve?” Johan and his brothers laugh. “No worries. She’ll make a fine whore, your sister will.”

“Yeah, can’t wait to stuff my cock in that pretty mouth,” says one of the pudgy brothers.

“Yeah, I’ll fuck her good and suck on those juicy tits,” agrees the other with a lewd guffaw.

“I’ll fuck her arse so hard she won’t be able to sit down,” boasts Johan. “She’ll beg for my seed on her face, the little tart.”

They give you a last kick and loudly smack your donkeys, sending Old Joe and Betsy racing off down the road with your cart clattering behind them. You groan in despair as the Gedry brothers disappear with your gold into the forest. After a couple minutes, you push yourself up on your hands and manage to clamber to your feet.

Your body aches, but nothing seems broken. You set off towards home, staggering from the pain as you slowly emerge from the dark forest and walk to your distant farmhouse. Your mind fills with images of your beautiful sister being defiled by the Gedry brothers. Worse than even these images is the fact that your thoughts excite you. Loneliness is a terrible thing for the soul.

It is dark by the time you arrive at your little farmhouse.

You are relieved to see Old Joe and Betsy drinking from the water trough outside the barn. The cart is still carried between them. If you had lost your donkeys and your cart you really would have been left with no chance. Not that you have much of one heading into winter. A few turnips and enough wheat to get you through the cold, but nothing to trade that hasn’t already been traded out of your tiny farmhouse. You’ve even sold the lanterns and resorted to using cheap candles you made yourself.

Rather than letting despair set in, you get to work freeing the donkeys from the yoke. You lead them through the gate and into the small pasture. Your lone dairy cow, Ida, lifts her head from the brown grass and moos plaintively. She looks to need milking.

You’re incredibly sore from being beaten, but you know the agony Ida will suffer if you leave her overnight. You ladle yourself some water, dump more over your sweat-stiffened hair, and grab a stool and bucket to milk your cow.

“Hey, girl,” you say, patting her skinny shoulders. “Let me take care of you.”

She eats some alfalfa hay out of your hand as you sit on the stool and milk her. You give her another pat before straining and sealing the milk in one of the bottles for the ce
llar. You head out of the barn, the night dark and the moon hidden by clouds. There is a chill in the air despite the late summer warmth earlier in the day. You can faintly see your breath.

You head towards the house, already mentally skipping a bowl of porridge so that you can sprawl exhausted in your bed. After a day like today, at least you have that bed.

As you are shutting the gate to the pasture you happen to look up and notice a strange star glowing brightly in the sky. It takes you a moment to realize the star is getting bigger and brighter. It swells until it is nearly as big as the moon you can faintly see.

BOOOOM! The sound splits the night, startling your animals and somehow echoing from the open fields. A moment later, the glowing star streaks over your barn, flashing bright white as it collides with a tree just outside your pasture. The tree splits with a tremendous crack and disappears in a fountain of earth and a cloud of smoke.

You stand there for several seconds, staring in shock and not even believing what you have witnessed. It is on the very edge of your property. There is no ignoring something like this on your own land. You hurry into the barn, fetch a pitchfork, and head out to investigate the smoldering hole in the ground.

  Get some training from Theora

“I think I had better learn how to use this sword before I try to fight a monster girl,” you say, looking at the sword you hold in your hands.

“It’s a sword,” says the beautiful angel. “You swing it at them. But, I suppose you are right. You are just a little farm boy. You have never faced a foe like a monster girl before.”

She claps her hands together. With a flash of light, she summons a long, faintly-glowing staff into her grasp. She whirls it with ease and begins to circle you. It’s hard to pay attention to her weapon as your eyes are drawn to her jostling breasts and the surely intentional sway of her shapely hips.
