Until he sucked her clit the same way and her arousal shot through the roof. He brought her close to orgasm and backed off a dozen times before he kneeled between her legs, naked. She didn’t know when he’d lost the boxer briefs and didn’t care.
“I can’t handle latex,” he told her, showing her a condom still in the wrapper. “These will keep you from getting pregnant, but they don’t stop every disease. You probably know shapeshifters can’t carry diseases, but I want to be upfront with you.”
She got depo shots, which kept her from getting pregnant and stopped her periods — and she knew about shapeshifters. That probably meant they didn’t need the condom, but she wasn’t in the right state of mind to make that decision. She nodded. “Okay. Makes sense. Put it on already.”
Damn, he was huge. Not too much longer than average, but he was bigger around than anyone she’d ever been with.
He put it on, scooped his arms under her legs, settled his palms under her shoulder blades, and lifted her so she was in the air, aimed at his lap. Somehow, he sat her down on his huge cock, with her legs up and out of the way so she had no control over how quickly she slid down his fatter-than–a-coke-can cock. The head wasn’t too big, but it grew in size rapidly and she tried to breathe in and yelp at the same time, but it didn’t work.
He filled her, stretched her, opened her — and he let gravity do the work. At first.
As soon as her body stopped sliding down, he popped his hips up. She went up a few inches and slammed back down onto him. He did it again, and she wanted more, and harder.
Whether from her scent, or moans, or something else, she wasn’t sure — but he knew. His hips pulsed harder, his cock drove deeper before she was bounced up and came back down. Over and over, and before long he’d opened her up so she was taking all of him, every blessed, thick, soul shattering inch of him.
There was no taking charge, no considering what he might need. He filled her mind and worked her body until thoughts weren’t possible — all she could do was breathe and take in the sensations. Her mouth was in a permanent O, her eyes opened wide — held by his gaze. Ensnared. Spellbound.
“Fuck, you feel good.” He moved faster, and faster, and when she could finally make a sound, it was to chant, “Yes, yes, yes, fuck yes, yes, yes,” over and over.
And then her world shifted. She saw Vic, and Vickie, and Victoria. All of him. All of his parts. She saw his mom standing up to his grandfather the first time he dressed as a girl to get a part in a play. Saw him experimenting with eyeliner in middle school and nearly getting kicked out of school because when the bully attacked the sissy-kid with eyeliner, the peacock shifter wiped the floor with the bully. She saw his first full attempt at creating his alter-ego, watched the transformations as he developed Victoria and got better with makeup, saw his disappointment when he tried Vickie on for a special event and discovered she was so much more popular than Victoria. He got over it, pushed Vickie harder, went to New York, made a name for himself. She saw the women he’d dated who’d quickly tired of him and moved on. The two times he’d tried a relationship with a man, only to discover it wasn’t for him, even if it was a daddy/little pairing. She saw every hope and dream he had for his career, his life, his future.
And she saw the way he felt about her. He loved her, which seemed too much in such a short time, but their hearts beat as one. They danced to the same music. It was as if their souls had always known each other, and their earthly personalities were just now finding the other.
DESPITE HER DECLARATIONS about not liking rough sex, every cue she was giving him told Vic she needed it hard and feral, so he gave her what she’d have begged for if he hadn’t pushed her so far past verbal she didn’t even remember words were possible.
He thrust hard, deep, tore a passioned cry from her, her sounds begging him for more, harder, faster. He drove them both higher and higher, faster and faster. He wrapped his arms around her and held her shoulders down with his hands while he pummeled her from below, and he finally leaned forward, slammed her to her back, and pounded her into the mattress.
Her face, her eyes, her moans, her smells told him she needed this as badly as he needed to give it to her.
And then the world shifted. He recognized it as the mating bond his grandfather had told him about, but had no idea it was possible so soon in a relationship. He saw Sandy as a child, excelling in school, trying to fit in with the popular kids, giving up and making friends with the other smart kids, and eventually understanding the popular kids were shallow morons. Saw her with a cocker spaniel named King, watched him get run over by a kid on a bicycle, saw them at the vet, who wanted to put him down. Sandy pitched a fit, promised her parents she’d agree to it in a few weeks if she hadn’t found a way to make him okay again. The vet was pissed that her parents took him home, said it was cruel. His back legs would never work again, and dogs can’t understand paralysis.
But Sandy made him a little buggy and harness, so his back end was supported with wheels under his legs, and he could drag himself around with his front legs. She kept making adjustments, she read books on mechanics and engineering.
And she demanded her parents let her have one of his puppies when they were born. They’d studded him out a few weeks before he was hit. She named the puppy Prince, and she made sure King was never jealous of the new puppy. She kept both dogs happy — a dog figuring out how to deal with his new life, and a puppy new to life who got into everything.
When King died, it was of old age, and it broke her heart, but Prince was there, licking her when she cried.
He watched her struggling to figure out how to pay for college, watched her stripping, saw her reach a deal with the RTMC. Saw her crying after the first couple of nights, and gradually becoming jaded. Saw Kate take Sandy under her wings and help her. Saw both women become stronger because of their friendship, because of the things they taught each other.
He picked up on her entire life in a matter of minutes, and the mating bond slid into place as if it had always been there. She was his now, and he was hers.
The vision ended and he was back in the room, his hips still pounding. They both gasped in shock, their eyes wide open, and then Vic’s closed when an orgasm ripped through his body, and he felt his baby-girl spasming below him.
They held each other as they came — a violence of passion that tore through his body and heart, soul and emotions. She gave him everything, and he gave her all that he was.
When she was spent, he slid down beside her, boneless, tangled in the sheets, but nothing mattered except holding her and making sure she was okay.
Chapter Ten
It was several long moments before Sandy could breathe again, and when she could, she asked, “What the hell just happened?”
“Language, baby-girl. You agreed not to cuss in the bedroom, and especially not in bed.”
A sigh. “I’m sorry, Sir.”
“I know. We’ll handle it later, because we have to talk about what happened. My guess is, we both saw each other’s lives in a rapid download of data. Peacocks are one of the few species with a spontaneous mating bond. We’re connected now.” He hadn’t completely caught his breath yet, so he breathed in and out a few times before continuing. “It only happens if both are open to it. My peacock initiates it, but your psyche has to accept it, and then my human psyche has to accept it, too.”
“And all of that happened?”
“I saw King. That’s why you chose biomedical engineering?”
“Yeah.”
The mating bond had taken a lot out of Vic. He needed food, but they needed to talk. They’d seen so much of each other’s lives and it seemed important to verbalize it.
An hour later, he couldn’t put it off any longer. Plus, she needed to study.
And still, they talked, as if they were each a drug for the other, an addiction more important than sustenance.
Finally, he sat up and tried to break the spell. “You need to study, and we both n
eed to eat.”
She looked at the clock. “I do. You’re important, but I can’t take shortcuts right now.”
“I know,” he assured her. “The final few weeks of a four year marathon. Don’t you dare let me affect even a single grade negatively.”
“I won’t, but I’m glad you’re going to help make sure I don’t. It’d be tempting to spend the day in bed, talking, but I can feel your hunger.” She stroked his arm. “It should feel odd, but it doesn’t — feeling you in the back of my mind. Kind of an echo of what you’re feeling? More than an echo, but I can’t explain it.”
“Mirror? No, that isn’t quite it, either. I feel it too. I can tell your emotions by your scent, but I like getting the information from both places now.” He blew out a breath. “We have to get moving. I’ll get food started. You get organized while I cook, then we’ll eat together, and I’ll leave you to study.”
SHE CALLED HIM AT TEN that evening to let him know she’d finished, and to point out it didn’t make sense for him to come back.
He could sense her, knew she was disappointed, but also knew she was being sensible. She wasn’t pushing him away.
But he couldn’t just let her go without knowing when he’d see her again. “I was going to check out a sale in one of my favorite boutiques tomorrow, but otherwise I have no plans.”
“My last class gets out at four, and I have to be at work at six.”
“Okay. I don’t like leaving corrections so long. We have two things to address, and I’ll deal with both together. Do you know what they are?”
“I cussed?”
“Yes, and you fidgeted the entire time you were in the corner.”
“Of course I fidgeted! I was standing in the corner!”
He picked up on her righteous indignation, and chuckled. “Get a good night’s sleep. I didn’t pay the pet fees when I rented the condo, but I’ll call the management company tomorrow and take care of it so Prince can spend the night when you do. I’d love it if you could spend the night here tomorrow night, even if we just sleep together. At least I’ll be able to feed you before classes Tuesday.”
He picked up on her general unease, doubting herself, doubting... something. When she didn’t say anything, he asked, “Something wrong?”
“Do you really want to see me right after a shift?”
Ah, coming to him after work. He needed to nip those thoughts in the bud. “I need you to stop worrying about it, baby-girl. I saw you at work when the mating bond hit, and I know you gave me a part of yourself you’ll never give anyone when you’re working. We’re good. You’re mine. Take care of your customers. You don’t need my permission, but you have it.”
A sob tore through her chest, and her anguish was clear as day.
“I’ll be there in five minutes.”
He hung up before she could protest.
She opened the door when he knocked, and fell into his arms. “I’m sorry!”
“No talking. I’m not here to disturb your sleep, but to make sure you get it. Set your alarm for twenty minutes later than usual. I’ll walk Prince in the morning and get him to your neighbor. Into bed with you, baby-girl. I’m just here to sleep beside you. Nothing else.”
As promised, he made her morning flow easier. He made coffee, fixed breakfast, and walked Prince. He also put together a go-cup of coffee and made sure she had everything she needed before she left.
And he packed the things she’d need when she spent the night with him — makeup, clothes, dog food.
SANDY’S FIRST CLASS was fine, because Vic went back to sleep. He woke during her second class, and she could sense him at the back of her mind. She lost perhaps twenty minutes of class while she figured out how to ignore him and focus on what was in front of her.
By the time she got to work, she thought she had it mostly under control. He was there, and she could check in on how he was doing, and felt certain she’d know if he had any major emotional reactions, but she could block him out of her consciousness and function.
Still, work was odd. She faked every orgasm and was certain no one realized it, but she got none of the enjoyment she could sometimes sneak out of sex with her customers.
Nothing could compare to Vic. Ever.
When her evening was finished and she went to Gramps for her envelope, she asked him, “Can you see if someone can take my appointments Wednesday? If you can’t fill them, I’ll come in, but...” You can’t lie to a shifter. She started to tell him school was too much, and while that was a partial truth, she could handle it okay if she wasn’t trying to fit Vic in, too.
“It’s my last Wednesday. I can swing it if I have to, but it’ll help me out if someone else wants the appointments.”
Gramps pulled up the schedule and looked at it. “I can move two of them, but your first appointment specified back-door size play. I don’t have anyone else available who can provide what we both know he wants.”
Ah, right. He’d stretch her ass until she told him yellow, give her a few seconds relief, and do it again. If she said red, she was probably done with stretching for their session, or at least for five or ten minutes, but the caution-word just meant he had to back off a few seconds. She charged a small fortune for those sessions, and he readily paid. Plus, if he could get the giant dildo in her he brought, she got an extra thousand dollars for a tip.
“Okay, first appointment is fine. It’s for an hour, right? I can come in and handle that, and I make megabucks for size play. If you can move him from six to five, or even five-thirty, it’ll help, but I can be here at six if he can’t come a little earlier. Thanks, Gramps!”
“We need to talk about upping your hourly base rate. With you working less hours, you’ll be more in demand.”
“Okay. What do you recommend?”
“Let me ask Shadow to run some numbers. Any problems tonight?”
“No, it was a pretty easy night.”
“I asked Shadow to run background on Vic.”
Sandy froze. “Why?”
“You’re special. Wanted to be sure he’s on the level.”
“He is.”
“Yes, and I like him. Raised by his mom and grandparents, because his mother was so young when she gave birth to him. There wasn’t much money for clothes and extras, but there was always enough food. He’s changed his fortune as an adult — he grossed nearly three hundred thousand dollars last year, and is on track to make even more this year. He has a lot of expenses, but he was still taxed on a hundred and fifty grand. He’s invested in real estate and precious metals, but before he invested anything, he bought houses and dependable vehicles for his mom and grandparents. Shadow can forward you what he found out, if you’d like.”
She’d learned the gist of those things when the mating bond slid into place. Not specific dollar amounts, but she’d seen the houses and vehicles he bought his mother and grandparents — and she’d known most of his clothes in childhood — male and female clothes — had come from Goodwill and other secondhand stores.
She shook her head. “Thanks for looking out for me, but I’d rather find out things as he tells me.”
Chapter Eleven
It was Tuesday before Vic had a chance to address the fidgeting and cussing.
“You have an hour for us to deal with this?”
“Yes. I only have one appointment tomorrow. I have some breathing room.”
“Okay. Why don’t I want you to cuss?”
“Because I’m your baby-girl, especially in the bedroom. I’m a grown woman, but I’m also your little girl. Out of respect for the relationship, I won’t cuss in the bedroom or anytime we’re being intimate, and I’ll try to keep it to a minimum when I’m around you. If I don’t do a good job of policing myself outside of the bedroom and sex, we’ll revisit the subject.”
She basically repeated what Vic had said, but that was okay.
“And why shouldn’t you fidget in the corner?”
“I have no effing idea.”
“
Minced oaths count too, baby-girl.”
She crossed her arms and glared at him. “Well, I don’t.”
“It’s about self-control. Cornertime is for you to gain control of yourself. We’ll work on it and I’ll help you learn, and today’s your first lesson. Let’s fasten your wrist cuffs on and go to the bathroom.”
He’d bought the wrist cuffs from a local leatherworking couple yesterday. Buttery soft leather with soft faux fur inside, and tan, close to the shade of her arms.
Vic could smell her arousal while he fastened her cuffs behind her back, and then her fear and dread when she realized he was going to soap her mouth. He could sense it all, too, but he focused on her scents. Sometimes, her emotions overwhelmed him and he couldn’t afford that while he was disciplining her.
He’d nearly gone crazy earlier, while she was at work. It’d taken him a while to figure out how to block what she was feeling when she was feeling so much.
Now, he ran the brand new bar of soap under warm water until the outside was soft, and told her, “Open.”
No more baby-girl. Not until punishment was over. He wouldn’t tell her this, but she’d figure it out.
Her eyes watered as soon as the bar of soap went in. He rubbed it on her tongue, scraped it on her front teeth — top and bottom. He also angled the bar so it scraped against her back teeth and soap would be embedded in them. He peeled soft bits off and ran his fingers in her mouth with it, coating the insides of her jaws, under her tongue.
“Wider.”
The word was an order, and she responded to it with another spike of arousal despite the levels of dread and revulsion she was feeling.
She stretched her jaw with a whine, and he was merciless in his quest to be sure her entire mouth was touched by soap. He worked up a decent sized froth on her tongue, and finally stuck the bar in. “Close. Sink your teeth into it. You’ll hold it in your mouth during cornertime.”
