John took a step towards Braedon and shook his hand. “Thank-you for helping us Braedon, and for getting us back on our feet. As Jenny said, there are a lot more questions than answers now, but we do appreciate your help.”

Braedon gave them both a long deep look into their eyes. “Don’t worry, the answers will come,” he said. “But come now, let’s get back. It’s almost time for dinner and maybe you would like a few minutes with your friend Frank on our way there?”

“That would be great,” John replied. They headed back to where they had started, near John’s room, and entered through a door on the opposite side of the corridor.

Just then Traedon appeared from behind a door on the other end of the corridor and walked up to them. “A word brother?”

“Please excuse us for a minute,” Braedon said as he nodded towards John and Jenny, “you can go ahead and spend a few minutes with Frank now.” The two brothers walked down the hall out of earshot while Jenny led John to Frank’s room.

“Spending quite a bit of time with the humans?” Traedon asked with a sly smile.

“And what business is it of yours brother?” replied Braedon.

“I’m just wondering why you keep toying with them. We have the last key so why not just eliminate them?”

“You’re a fool Traedon. The Sura is strong and meant for the path he has taken. I can use him for the great work.”

“Yes, and the female? My guess is she’s still here because of her resemblance to…”

“Silence!” Braedon bellowed. “Her name will not be mentioned in my presence!”

“And what about the other one?”

“I will use him to keep the rest of them here. As long as he‘s in a coma they’ll want to stay. Once they understand what is really happening they won’t ever want to leave. Then I will have to decide what to do with the other one, but for now he is serving a purpose.”

“In regards to the female, just remember the bonds with her mate can be severed,” said Traedon with a cruel smile.

“Mind your tongue! Can we get to business now? Is everything ready for the meeting?” Braedon asked.

“Yes, everything is set, the stage will be yours brother.” Just then Jenny and John made it back from Frank’s room. Traedon stared at Jenny over Braedon’s shoulder as they approached.

“I can see why you like her,” Traedon whispered, “the resemblance is quite startling.” He finished with a sly smile. “See you at dinner brother.” Upon finishing his last word, Traedon took a left and headed down the nearest corridor.

Braedon led John and Jenny to the end of the corridor where it opened up into a massive hall. There was a large group of several hundred seated along tables in rows. Everyone stood up as they entered the room. The three of them walked to the other end of the hall and Braedon raised his hand for silence. He sat at the head of the center table and gestured for Jenny to sit on his right and John to sit on his left. Jenny felt as though all eyes were on her as everyone in the room sat back down. John suddenly noticed two rows of women dressed in white, entering the hall from either end. They were carrying plates and on top of the plates were loaves of bread. They fanned out alongside each of the tables and simultaneously set the loaves in front of each person seated. Traedon stood up. He picked up his plate and held it above his head. He turned and held it out towards Braedon. Braedon then stood and everyone in the room repeated Traedon's words in unison. Not knowing what else to do, and not wanting to feel out of place, John and Jenny lifted their plates towards Braedon too. Everyone in the room began to chant:

Son of the Father, we take today our daily bread from your hands that you have provided

You are truly a great and merciful leader

May it nourish us and give us a longer life to serve you.

As soon as everyone sat down, the room was stirring with conversation. They all began to eat, and just as they did, the same women in white brought wine. They poured everyone a glass, left the bottles on the tables and quickly exited the room again. Jenny looked at the bread and then at John with a ‘Are we supposed to eat this?’ kind of look.

“I assure you,” Braedon whispered to them as he sat down. “It’s everything a body needs.” They each took a bite and melted into the delicious taste. It was the freshest, best homemade bread one could imagine eating, and it was still a bit warm. John and Jenny immediately felt energized and soon were also drinking the wine. The mood of the room continued to become more cheerful. Another round of wine was brought out, and along with it came music and dancing. The women in white reappeared and performed several sensual dances. They moved closely in pairs as their robes flowed across their bodies.

Jenny began to feel light headed. “I think I’ve had enough for one day,” she told John.

Braedon overhead her and stood up raising his hand. The room became silent again. Braedon raised his glass. “Here is to our new dawn coming, we are on the eve of seeing all our plans unfold. Celebrate my friends, my family! Tomorrow is a new day and a new dawn!”

There was a thunderous outburst in response to Braedon’s toast and everyone was on their feet cheering. Braedon drained his glass and motioned for John and Jenny to follow him. The music started up again as they made their way to the doorway, although the cheering did not subside until they left the room.

“I’ll take you back to your room,” Braeden said as they followed him down one of the long hallways.

“Wow that was different. And the bread and wine, it almost reminded me of communion at church.” Jenny said to John with a little giggle as they made their way to their room.

“Where do you think you got that little ritual from?” Braedon asked with a wink. John and Jenny walked the rest of the way to their room in silence. The wine had gotten to them and they both felt exhausted. They stopped outside their door and Braedon turned to say goodnight.

“Good night Jen. You don’t mind if I call you Jen do you?” Braedon asked her.

“No, I don’t mind,” she answered. “Oh and by the way, the women were beautiful tonight,” she added.

“I only saw one beautiful woman tonight, and I’m lucky enough to still be in her presence,” replied Braedon.

“Oh, and he’s charming too.” Jenny responded, smiling.

John felt a twinge of jealously run through him, but he extended his hand towards Braedon, who shook it firmly as he said good night.

“Thanks again for the help with our wounds, and for the hospitality,” John said.

“You are both very welcome, now get some rest. We have a big day planned tomorrow.”

A New Day A New Dawn

Lucas startled awake as his chin hit his chest, realizing he fell asleep in front of his computer again. He had been working feverishly to translate whatever he could get his hands on. It was frustrating because Frank could make this job so much easier with the codex on his phone, and they still hadn’t found him. The rescue team was into the second day of trying to re-open the chamber underground, with little success. Hosea walked into the room and set a cup of coffee on Lucas’s desk. “Good morning Lucas!” he said with a big smile.

  “Why are you so chipper?”

“Well, I just found out that they finally opened it up, the room we were in! Come on, come on, we’re going to miss it. They’re going in to get John, Frank and Jenny!” Hosea led him to the main operations room where they had spent the last few days, pouring over pages of data and ancient texts. There were images on the large screens on the wall, showing a live feed of the opening they had gone through days before. Another screen showed movement inside. It looked like a small group of military personnel were entering into the first room.

“Clear” John heard someone in the room call out through the audio feed. They continued on into the second, larger room and fanned out. The bright spotlights that were carried in with them lit up every inch of the cavernous room, but there was no one there.

“It’s empty Sir,” came a voice over the intercom
, “and no other visible exit other than the way we came in.”

“Got blood! Over here,” yelled a soldier in the background. The camera moved in closer as Hosea and Lucas watched with a sinking feeling in the pit of their stomachs. There was a large area of what was obviously blood on the floor. Lucas sat down and stared intently at the screen.

“Get a sample of that back to the lab,” said the man in charge to a medic standing next to him. The man turned and looked into the camera.

“Gentleman, I can’t explain it but there’s no one here.” A voice came from the other side of the room Lucas and Hosea were in.

“Affirmative, get that blood sample analyzed and keep us updated with any developments.” The screens went black as the feed was turned off.

“Where the hell could they be?” Hosea asked Lucas

“I don’t know, none of it makes sense, and we have to present to the twenty-eight most influential world leaders shortly. I don’t even know what I’m going to tell them. We don’t really know much more than we did a few days ago.”

The countries' leaders and delegates had been arriving all through the night and they were already in closed meetings.

“We’ve learned all were going to learn for now,” Hosea said “Let’s head down and see if they’re ready for us. “They made their way down a corridor to a set of double doors and took a seat against the wall. It was not long before one of the doors opened and a short stocky gentleman came out.

“They’re ready for you now.” They followed him through the large door and into a grand meeting hall. The twenty-eight leaders were seated in a semi circle towards one side of the room. The U.N. Secretary General was at the other end in a large chair, presiding over the meeting. The room must have held two hundred people between security, ambassadors, aides and translators. They all stared at Lucas and Hosea as they entered the room. They took their place at a table off to one side and spread out piles of notes and papers. Once they were finally settled, Lucas nodded towards the U.N. Secretary General.

“Are we ready then gentleman? What are we dealing with here?” he asked them.

“Honestly,” Lucas responded, “in regards to the Annunaki, we don’t really know much about them. Even if we assume all of the ancient texts are correct, we still don’t really know anything that would be helpful.”

“Just tell us what you do know, and we’ll decide how helpful it might be,” the Secretary General replied.

Lucas stood up and addressed the crowd. “Ladies and gentleman, what we are dealing with here is like nothing we have ever dealt with before in our known history. If we assume the old texts are correct, then we are about to be visited by the Annunaki. An ancient race of humanoid-like creatures that visits this planet every 7200 years, when their solar system swings around ours.” The room erupted with murmurings as the translators relayed the message amid several astonished expressions. Once the noise died down Lucas continued. “We are going to assume the ancient texts are accurate, I will go through a brief history based on what our ancient ancestors wrote.” He paused for a moment to allow the translators to catch up as he poured a glass of water from the table in front of him. He took a long drink and continued.

“The Annunaki live on the sixth planet in their system, which they call Eridu, not Nibiru the seventh. The reason Nibiru is more prominent in the ancient writings is because it’s the planet that ventures the closest to ours, being that it is the furthest from their sun. Nibiru is the one that crosses directly through our solar system, and the paths of our planets. It’s the one that causes us all the trouble. However, Eridu, the sixth planet, is where the Annunaki actually live. By all accounts, this alien race first came here millennium ago, once their technology advanced to the point of interplanetary travel. They were then able to explore the planets in our solar system, including Earth, whenever their solar system’s orbit brought them close enough. They found gold here and mined it for thousands of years. Eventually there was a rebellion within the ranks. The Annunaki got tired of the arduous task of mining their own gold. This is when they decided to use the existing homo erectus race as slaves.” Lucas paused as he walked back to the platform where Hosea was still seated. He shuffled through some papers and then once again addressed the assembly. “This is where things begin to get fuzzy. We’re not exactly sure what they used the gold for. There are accounts that they used it in some sort of machine and ionized it into their atmosphere in order to save their planet from some unknown disaster. Other accounts tell of them preparing it for ingestion and this is what is responsible for their long life spans. According to texts, the Annunaki live tens of thousands of years, and some of their kings have been known to live as long as sixty-thousand. I realize this seems impossible, however to put it into perspective, if the fruit fly could speak I’m sure it would be just as amazed at some of our race living over one-hundred years, compared to their thirty day average life spans. Just because we have not seen it for ourselves, does not mean it is impossible.” Lucas paused and took another drink of water from his glass.

“We’re also not exactly sure how they manipulated the indigenous population for their purposes. It would seem that they created a new race of beings by changing their DNA somehow. The new race was more intelligent, as well as bigger, and stronger. They also made sure that the females were sterile so that they could not pro-create on their own, allowing for population control of the slaves. When more slaves were needed, more were created, and carried by Annunaki surrogate mothers. This new race was much more suited for the purpose of mining and went on successfully for a long period of time. However, it would also seem that they made this new race a little too much like themselves. They were very intelligent. Intelligent enough to realize their unfair treatment and the in-justness of their bondage. There was an eventual uprising and rebellion of the slaves. War broke out, and many lives were lost on both sides. The Annunaki’s plan was to wipe out the entire slave population. They realized their mistake of making the new race too much like their own and wanted to start over, but some of the leaders felt compassion for the new race. They were so similar to themselves, some felt it would be like murdering their own kind.

There was war among the Anunaki peoples. Finally they allowed them to go free to live out their days. With no possibility of procreation, the Annunaki knew that they would eventually die off. This seemed a more humane way of taking care of the problem. However, there was a problem that arose. The new race was so much like themselves, almost identical, and they were irresistible to the Annunaki, sexually. This kind of union was of course forbidden, however, for reasons unknown, the Annunaki females could not resist the new Earth males and the Annunaki males could not resist the females. This attraction was mutual across species and the Annunaki leaders could not stop the inevitable from happening. The new Earth females were sterile so no offspring could be produced, however the males were quite virile, and soon hundreds of Annunaki females began to give birth to Annunaki half breeds. The leaders saw these half breed creatures as an abomination. They sought out these children and killed them by drowning. This is actually a popular story and can be read on hieroglyphs even up to Egyptian times. We used to think the Egyptian glyphs were telling a story that happened during Egyptian times, but we now know that this was actually a historical account being retold. It is a more ancient story of the Annunaki firstborns being drowned in the rivers by the local rulers. The Annunaki mothers and Earth fathers were able to hide, and protect many of their children in small colonies around the globe. The Annunaki leaders found some of these colonies and were enraged, destroying entire settlements with a weapon of fire, released from their ships in orbit above the Earth. There was also another problem. The female Annunaki gave birth to both male and female offspring, and within a few decades they realized that this offspring could breed successfully with each other. Somehow the new half-breed race could pro-create. According to the ancient texts, this offspring, this new half-breed race is what we now know as
the human race today. We don’t know why but the first people of our species were placed in a protected garden called E-Den.”

There was another outburst from the assembled leaders as the translators whispered Lucas’s words in amazement.

“That is almost everything we know. From there, accounts are spotty at best. We know there was a great flood when the Annunaki visited in approximately 5000 BCE. They called it the great deluge. Additional corroborating stories of this flood are also written in almost every ancient text from every religion found in almost every corner of the world. Based on the writings, my friend Hosea and I came up with a theory. As best as we can figure, Nibiru came so close to Earth that it caused tides to rise thousands of feet, flooding most of the Earth’s landmasses. This is similar to how the moon causes tides of several feet today, only this was on a scale hundreds of times more powerful. The water rose so high into the cooler air above it caused unfathomable and immediate condensation. This brought torrential rains across the globe, exacerbating the flooding problem over the continents. Almost all life on Earth was destroyed. However, our race did recover, although only approximately one hundred breeding pairs survived. The ones who were left were taught how to take care of themselves. They were taught agriculture, farming, medicine, astronomy and even mathematics. These people began to spread out into different settlements. One of these settlements became the Sumerian race. Sumer is where we have found many of the ancient writings we have today, which is now known as Iraq.”

Lucas paused again making sure the translators did not get too far behind. He seemed to still have everyone’s undivided attention as the entire room continued to stare in his direction, hanging on every word.

“That my friends is where this story quickly comes to a close. It would seem, since that time, humanity has forgotten about our ancient history, and the Annunaki along with it.”
