  Chapter 50

“Damn,” Chad said as Hailey climbed off him. “Is that what you had in mind, Tom?”

Tommy shook his head. “Not really, but that worked just as well. I wanted to try an oral circle. Her sucking your dick and me eating her out, Crystal sucking me and you eating her out. Something like that.”

“Maybe next time,” Chad suggested with a sly grin.” He turned and got to his knees. “Baby, careful.” He took my hand and put a hand under my other arm. Together, he and Tommy lifted me up. I was placed on Chad’s lap. He looked into my eyes. His hands framed my face. “This was better than I dreamed, because I shared it with you.”

I couldn’t help but smile. “Really?”

“Yeah. This was so much better than that thing with you and Amy.” Chad leaned down and kissed my lips. “You did this for me. She did it for herself, more or less.”

I stared into his eyes. “I did it for us.” Both of us got something out of the encounter. “We do this our way.”

He held me close and nuzzled my neck. “Don’t compare us. Please.”

“I’m not.” I sighed. “OK. I am, but not in the way you’re thinking. I meant, I don’t want to do things the same. I want us to find our own way.”

He smiled against my skin. “We are.” He lifted me and set me on the bed. “Let me get rid of the condom.”

I looked around and finally noticed Tommy and Hailey were gone. Then I heard Hailey giggle in the hallway. Chad had disappeared into the master bathroom. A bit worn out, I dropped onto the nearest pillow. I considered an attempt to go to the bathroom, but I worried my legs wouldn’t support me.

My eyes closed as memories surfaced. So much had happened in the past few months. Much changed, yet so much stayed the same. It was bittersweet to share my life with Chad. After all the pain, we had made it work. I winced, as a headache began. It was late, so sleep would likely rid me of it. They were rare thankfully. Since the accident, I had a few issues. We learned to work around them.

“You a’right?” Chad asked when he strolled back into the room. “You look exhausted.” He approached me slowly. “You’re flushed too.” He leaned over the bed and brushed my hair back before he kissed my forehead. “You feel OK?”

  I nodded. “Headache.”

“Want your pills?” He tilted his head, and his eyebrows went up.

I didn’t want to depend on them. “No. I’ll be fine.”

Chad shrugged and kissed my forehead again. “OK.” He walked to his dresser and threw on pajama pants. I’m gonna get you some water.”

Before long, Tommy and Hailey entered the room, showered and dressed. Tommy grinned at me. “That was fun.” He slid an arm around Hailey’s shoulders. “We should do it again soon.”

Chad walked in and grinned widely. “Yeah. Real soon. But next time I want more girl-on-girl action.”

“Hell yeah.” Tommy winked at me. “You shoulda seen them in my shower that time. Me and—Uh, never mind. Sorry, Crystal.”

I waved a hand at Tommy. “We can’t just stop talking about him. He died and nothing’s gonna change that.” I struggled to sit up then leaned on my left hand. Chad held a glass of water to my lips as I took a few sips. “Thanks.”

“She’s out of it.” Chad set the glass on the nightstand. “Physical therapy takes a lot outta her. Well, so do most things lately.” He looked at me with concern.

I sighed. “I’m fine. Stop worrying.”

“We’re gonna head out.” Tommy moved toward the bed. When Chad stepped back, Tommy kissed me on the cheek.

Hailey crawled on the bed and gave me a fierce hug. “Glad we did this tonight. Maybe next time we’ll work on your fear of restraints… If you want.” She met my eyes. “Or anything else I can help with.”

I had forgotten about that part of the night. We had connected after I freaked out when restrained. Tommy and Giovanni felt bad, but she was beyond concerned. I saw in her eyes she understood. She didn’t reveal how, but I was glad to have someone who got the fear.

“One day, you and I will have a talk,” Hailey whispered. “I don’t like talking about my past, but I think we have some things in common. And I think we both need to get it out.”

I smiled. “I’d like that.” Her dominant side overshadowed how sweet she could be. I wondered if it was also the reason she couldn’t commit to Tommy. “Maybe we’ll go out without these two one day.”

“Uh-uh.” Chad had come closer. “You know why we don’t let you go out alone.”

I swallowed. “But—” My throat clogged, as memories surfaced.

“I’m a lot tougher than I look,” Hailey assured him.

Chad sighed. “Crystal, don’t get mad. Hailey, you don’t understand. A fan attacked her. We get all kindsa creepy messages from guys on the website. I’m not ignoring them ever again.”

“Oh.” Hailey lifted my chin. “I’m sorry. I thought it was someone random.”

I forced my lip not to tremble. “It was almost a year ago. I’m fine. Maybe we can get rid of them and hang out here?” My laugh was unexpected but helped me relax. “Couples need some time apart.”

“True.” Tommy patted Chad on the back. “Strip club night?” When Chad scowled, Tommy cracked up. “Exactly what I expected. You are so predictable.”

Chad rolled his eyes. “She’s better than a stripper I can’t touch.”

“Last one took your dick out,” Tommy reminded Chad. “That was interesting. Thought she was gonna swallow you right there.”

That made me jealous. “No stripper’s sucking my man off.” I winked at Hailey. “You of course are a completely different story.”

“Yeah. I get that.” Hailey’s gaze settled on Tommy. “I’m not out to steal your man. I already got my own.”

Tommy grabbed her and hauled her off the bed. “I think I need to get my woman outta here before I bend her over your bed. Love her filthy mouth.”

I smiled. He was most defiantly in love. “Safe trip home.”

“Let me walk you out so I can lock up.” Chad left the room.

Tired, I lay back down. I wanted to change the bedding but couldn’t do it alone. When he entered the room again, I grinned. “Wanna help me get new sheets?”

“In a minute.” Chad climbed onto the bed and sat next to me, his right hand closed into a fist. “Baby, I have something to give you, but I don’t know if today if it’s the right time for it.”

“Why not?” I had no clue what he meant.

He sighed. “After the night we had, I don’t wanna ruin it.”

“It won’t.” I wished I had something for him, too.

He exhaled loudly. “OK.” Then he picked up my right leg and put it in his lap. After a bit of hesitation, he opened his hand to reveal my ankle bracelet. “I got it fixed and a bit modified.” He carefully clasped it around my right ankle. “Hope you like it.”

I tried to see what he meant, but I couldn’t move my leg closer. “Let me see.”

He carefully bent my leg and slid the chain around. It said, “CHAD’S BABY.” Tears filled my eyes, more happiness than sadness though. I smiled and looked up at him. It was perfect.

“I thought it’d be safer than putting my name on your body.” He hugged me and breathed deeply. “I love you so much, my baby girl.” He trembled with emotion.

I sniffled. “I love you too.” Instinctively, a hand went to my left leg, where Giovanni’s name was written. “I wanna have this changed.”

“No,” Chad whispered. “He doesn’t deserve that.” He pulled my arms around him and stroked my hair. “I know you’re mine forever. No reason for you to prove it. I’ve always loved you and always will.”

she has been writing risqué stories about musicians for many years, she has just recently taken these tales to the next level revealing, through her protagonists, the hold some of these men still have on her. They have inspired more than they ever imagined.

Now living in Florida with her three sons, she juggles domestic responsibilities, a social life, her career as an IT professional and her writing as carefully as possible. They do cross paths as you have seen in her first collection of short stories. Her life is busy and full, yet very fulfilling.

The few limits Bella puts on her love life may be found as but a shadow in her writing. She draws from life, fantasy and inspiration to create each tale.

Bella has broadened her horizons to include short stories, Insatiable Appetites, with many more to come, some just a sentence at this point. The subjects range from military men to biker chicks to naughty doctors and much, much more.

She is also expanding the Triple Threat world to include bands that readers have met in the original novels. Soon enough you’ll get to know Silverblade and Brass Monkey, too. So many hot rock stars, so little time to bring them to life.
