02 Wrath of Flames Page 39

by Jr H. Lee Morgan

“Interesting.” He said while Kanade was furious and asked “Why did you hurt my angel, Mother? You could have told him I was busy, but not mad over somethin’ that wasn’t his fault.”

“Doesn’t matter. He tore my clothes off too and whether he was in control or not is beside the point. No one can see my nipples other than Mikhale and if I weren’t so stunned I probably would have given him a second death, or a near one at least.” The way she said it lightly also spoke she would have definitely followed through. “If you wanted him not to worry you should have told him he wasn’t in trouble. I’m not into playing childish nonsense by passing notes.”

Kanade looked down after being chastised. She knew it was true, even if she was afraid he’d read her plan. Kanade nodded, realizing she wasn’t being smart.

A hush came about as Jormungandr slithered out of the moat and snaked his massive body over the snow and nearly encircled every inch around the area. His huge green eyes stayed alert and eager.

Over the speakers Thor’s voice boomed throughout the entire area to silence the whispers further. “Thank you all for coming to see our parents finally find each other. Please sit down and not talk loud so everyone may experience this fantastic day. Afterwards we will have food and games. Until then please be patient. Brothers, sisters, stepbrothers and stepsisters, we all know our parents will be happier if we get along.”

“Father wouldn’t care whether we did or not. Floa is the same. As long as we don’t kill each other they don’t care.” One man’s voice to the front said with a chuckle.

“Too true, Baldr.” Thor humored his younger Ogre brother with a six inch long spiraling white horn. “But for one day, play nice.”

“Coming from you? Shocking!” Baldr laughed along with the rest of his siblings. Many others did as well, easing the anticipating tension in the air while broadcasted all over the area.

“The wedding will start in five minutes. Get comfortable and stay warm. I need to ask all those standing with the bride and groom, come on up.”

“That’s my cue. This dress is a bit breezy, can you keep me warm?” Kanade said as she kissed his cheek and sensually walked away with the rest of the women in azure. Real warmth immediately surrounded her so her bare arms lost the goose bumps. Kanade, still in his mind, added more sway to her hips for his eager viewing pleasure.

The groomsmen all went up too, none from Ethan’s team, but the rest of the men with Reevy and Vitalli sat over on the bride’s side in the second area with all the house heads, kings and queens of different races and countries.

Kanade up on stage was by far the most beautiful in her alluring gold dress with flames artfully sewn into the fabric. Beside her was her mother who was a close second with the remainder of the feminine half of the team. He had seen the dress stay put as she walked away and was happy she got to wear dresses outside for once rather than to arouse him in private. Her outfit was gorgeous.

Time for the wedding of the millennium had come.

A stallion’s mighty whinny had heads turn east as the sun rose, outlining Pegasus and his only rider. All alone they came. It was timed perfectly for how the sun made them seem a silhouette caught in a picture. But before long, Pegasus swooped down in front of the stage.

Odin dismounted wearing pure gold armor that looked like fish scales. He still carried the broadsword at his hip and the wicked Gungnir firmly in his left hand. The spear was polished more than usual, glinting thanks to the sunlight. He patted his steed’s thick neck as two giant white wolves came around either side of the stage. They were none other than Geri and Freki, his old hunting buddies and legendary Shifters. They were his original team, the five of them, including Jormungandr. Both were five feet tall in the shoulder and embodied nature’s fierce lupine beauty.

Ethan got to meet the two wolves who ran the Eleventh House together the day before. In human form they were husband and wife of Viking stock as well. Tall, athletically large, loud, drunk more often than not and a riot when laid back embellishing old stories to young children. Especially Freki when she acted out scenes.

Odin’s single blue eye took everyone in and eventually gave Ethan a nod as he warmed up over a three hundred foot wide area with his power so that the fires would not interfere with the recording of his day. He walked up the steps with the two giant, calm white wolves and Pegasus coming up behind. They took position with two other groomsmen. One being Crait and the other Kiroq so the two sides balanced. Thor stood center and clapped his father on the back proudly.

The All Father grinned and stood solid like a pillar.

Cameras were rolling and even without music, the crowd awaited the bride.

The wait wasn’t long nor let down.

Almost coming from the sun itself seemed a flock of tiny birds, but were in fact hundreds of fluttering Pixies dropping fragrant flowers over the crowd and on top of Jormungandr. Many reached up to catch a flower and sniff. The flock of tiny green women then settled down, most being Floa’s children and descendants who all gathered happily together near the front since they were so small they all could get closer and not take up much room. Blossom though, after dropping her flower, settled on her Uncle Ethan’s shoulder.

  And then came the bride.

Floa instantly appeared on stage in a deep royal blue dress with thousands of sewn in genuine sapphires of top quality. The dress was almost form fitting, displaying her ample evergreen bosom to full alluring effect with glinting diamonds enhancing them in a one of a kind necklace no human billionaire could dream of affording. The wedding dress specifically was made for a plunging neckline to show off the silver patch between her round breasts that said she found her soul mate. It is the only revelation it was real since the rest of her was vegetation green. It was classy and risqué at the same time without being raunchy. Men couldn’t help looking and even straight women wouldn’t mind spending the night at least once. Navy blue heels made her slightly taller, but not by much. Her black hair was woven tightly in a French braid with tiny white flowers for contrast. A lace veil barely covered blushing emerald cheeks and violet eyes beneath. Large monarch butterfly wings flapped back and forth slowly and spoke of how happy she was. Her five and a half foot height was diminutive next to his seven foot one bulk.

Odin’s lone eye was speechless as it admired her. Ethan knew the feeling.

Thor came forward as his father’s left hand took his mother-to-be’s right. The Cameras were capturing every moment and so began the simple wedding filled with extravagance. No vows were spoken since soul mates didn’t need to promise to be together forever. They were one and inseparable. The wedding was more a show to let the world know of how they both lived, especially Floa since she was older than Odin’s two thousand years though she didn’t let anyone know her true age. She had over seven hundred children, not all still lived, but those children had more children who had more and so on.

The ceremony was beautiful in its simplicity and as it came to a close Pegasus came forward to say a few words. As Matron of honor, Kanade finished the speeches upon the stage saying “Floa is my dearest girlfriend. Has been since I first moved to live in the Nineteenth House when I was just five years old to begin my trainin’. She played dolls with me and was there every time I missed my parents or was teased by the other children because I was so shy. She got me to experience so many things in life and showed me how to live and enjoy even the ugly sides of the world. She always smiled and I love her for it and every single day we share. Even if her patience is shorter than even the average Pixie. First I like to say she was like a second mother, but now is a sister. We laugh, cry, bicker and get on each other’s nerves on a daily basis. What else can family be without fightin’.” The crowd chuckled, knowing exactly that was the exact definition of family. “Floa and Odin loved each other far before the Spirit King returned to him the piece we all have to bond with our soul mate.

“When I was eleven I was fixated and miserable I wasn’t able to do a spell
correctly and she took me campin’ for just the two of us to get away. I resisted, but if anyone who knows Floa knows you either humor her or she’ll make you do it anyway.” More chuckles filtered through the area. “While it was late that night and we lay together near the fire, she always tells good stories. This is the one I vividly remember. She loved him dearly and told me about the first time they met eleven hundred years ago. Even out of all of her boyfriends and lover girlfriends, she loved him most. She loves tellin’ this story and I know most, if not all of you know it already, but bare with me.” Again the crowd chuckled, already ready to hear it again.

“Floa was bein’ chased by Bugs through the forests of Italy, but managed to get away by hidin’ in a hollowed out tree. She figured she was all alone after an hour of nothin’ and went to cool off. Floa knew she was alone for the moment and was… sort of. At that time, Odin went by Belleophon and both he and Pegasus were in the area when Pegasus heard her singin’ in the forest and told him to check it out because the forest was dangerous, especially for women.” She grinned. “And we all know Odin can’t sit back when Pegasus lets it slip he hears a woman’s voice by water. Odin is all too willin’ to peep on women near water since it was a hot summer’s day and that meant she’d be skinny dippin’.” The crowd chuckled some more. “We’ll he wasn’t disappointed… for long.

“Floa was indeed bathin’, but when he cleared his throat to get her attentions she Translocated him several feet up and skewered him in a tree thinkin’ the bugs were back. Then she screams, belivin’ she killed an innocent human till ‘Belleophon’ laughed and cut off the limb with a swipe of Gungnir, fell dozens of feet and pulled the limb out of his chest to heal instantly. Floa was standin’ buck naked, and shocked. ‘Belleophon’ laughs as tells her she was the first woman to give him wood, thereby accidently givin’ men another reference to call their shame.” Now many were laughing. Kanade didn’t stop. “And Floa being Floa looks at the one eyed man’s chest after he ripped the ruined tunic and gets aroused like all Pixies when they find something pretty and shiny. Just look at her weddin’ dress.” She gestured to the bride’s gem aplenty dress. “So she says ‘I wouldn’t mind getting’ some wood myself.’ and I’ll skip over her more visual elaboration.”

“But that is the best part!” Odin interrupted.

“Behave you. I’m tellin’ the story. Scare others on your own time.” Kanade returned to the outright laughing crowd. “Where was I… oh right! After they embraced that first time she told me about that night that no other man had made her half as antsy to bed again. But at the time she had a girlfriend so she decided to share her new shiny boy-toy. Thus was how Thor was born since Floa’s girlfriend was none other than Thor’s Nagai mother was Frigga… Their relationship was off and on over the decades and they had sixty two babies together, more than Floa has come close to havin’ with another man. Even without becomin’ soul mates, Floa knew she loved Odin more than any person alive. But now her love has found a permanent home at long last. A love as intense as she. This is my fondest memory of her growin’ up with her. And if Odin retells his version of the story, run or you’ll have nightmares for the rest of eternity. I know I will.”

Out loud laughing erupted through the crowd as Odin nodded up and down with promise he’d certainly tell it in specific details.

“I now present eternal soul mates Odin and Floa!” Thor shouted as he lifted Mjolnir up, and out of the cloudless sky struck a bolt of blue lightning upon the ancient hammer.

People got to their feet and cheered.

Floa let go of Odin and approached Kanade, instantly shrinking to fly and hug her tightly. “Thank you, Girlfriend. That was a perfect close to my wedding.”

“Close?” Odin shook his head and thumped his armored chest. “Not yet, Wife. Now the games begin. There will be drinking and fighting this Winter Solstice. First to entertain us are Thor and Ethan.”

  “What?” Kanade inhaled sharply.

“Aye, the lad and my son have a brawl left unsettled. It will be one interesting match.” Odin said.

“Aye, Father and I cornered him yesterday and didn’t give him a choice.” Thor spun the hammer around playfully.

“Yeah, I did.” He thought as her mind asked if he was going through. “I needed a release before I worked with Celestia yesterday. I didn’t know if I was going to see you today and so I said yes. Besides, Thor wants to return the favor for me slugging him after the Crescent Mirror incident.”

“He is known to hold a grudge. I’m coming to you.”

“Ready and waiting.” She saw him smile as he stood taller than nearly everyone in the crowd and followed after the bride and groom to go to her man. Cameramen followed the happy couple into the throng.

Before long she waded through the masses and threw her arms around him. “How did I do?”

“Amazingly as always.” He smoothed out the wrinkles between her delicate eyebrows with a kiss. “You should have seen Floa as you retold that story. I swear she couldn’t be happier. Her veil hid the tears well, but her wings flapped with joy. I think your surprising close to this made them all love you even more. Even Val laughed as you told it in your own way. You were the perfect matron.”

“So how long do we have before your fight?” She didn’t release her embrace as she missed physical contact greatly and especially how his hands on her hips ignited her belly pleasantly.

“Less than five minutes. Jormun is making the ring with his own body around us as we speak.” He said and she looked to see the giant serpent slowly encircling over five acres of space to make an arena. Odin and Floa, hand-in-hand, were making their way over along with their families, grinning from ear to ear.

“But can’t we leave? At least for a little while?”

“Are you kidding? You mean to say you’ve spent days making this stunning dress and don’t want to show it off? I don’t think so. I want to show you off and admire today. Celestia and I are taking tonight off so we’ll go to our island. Morgane also gave us a free pass and since we didn’t have a wedding, I want to at least be around this one since you worked so hard arranging, planning and organizing it all. You’re too gorgeous to want to leave now and I’ll keep you really warm since your arms are bare.”

In his mind she screamed “But I’m so damn horny! I’m in a dress without underwear and can hardly think straight looking at you without takin’ you right here and now.”

“As much as I would love to do just that, we have a few more obligations to fulfill. Just hold off for one hour and we’ll skip out.”

“Fine! One hour. No longer.” Her serious golden eyes didn’t waver. “I don’t care if it’s rude, but I’ll have you in me even if we are eatin’ with everyone else. I’ll hike my dress up and sit right on you.”

“Even if you know I’ll not be able to stop from killing everyone? That is selfish.”

“I can’t fuckin’ help it. It’s your fault!”

  “What is my fault?”

“These changes we are goin’ through. My estrogen levels can no longer be counted, just like your testosterone levels. Remember how I said I’d go insane in three months without sex?” He nodded, unable to forget. “Right, well I can’t go two weeks now without having your sperm. I found out last night after my scan and blood sample. It has steadily built stronger and stronger. My instincts to couple are harder to resist than ever before. No Spirit Guide ever has come close to my estrogen levels. It is worse when I see babies. My nestin’ instincts are barely resistible. Durin’ these three days were not only torture for you, but for me as well. I had to send Blossom away because lookin’ at her made me want to come to you so we can make a baby. Your blood has put me in constant heat not even a Nymph can comprehend and will drive me more unstable if I must wait another day. If I don’t have you at least once a week I’ll lose control like Merlin did to you, but I’ll seek you and rape you till I return to normal. It’s why I’ve become so sexually voracious.”

  Ethan’s
hands came off her hips and laid on her shoulders to calm her. “You should have told me. And I’ll never let it happen. I can tell you are scared so I’ll do all in my power so you do not hurt anyone. And never think you’ll rape me. I’ll always consent. One hour and I promise we’ll go to our island and I’ll take care of you. For now, strut your stuff.”

Kanade liked that and kissed him thanks before threading her fingers with his and walking over to where Jormungandr left enough space from his tail to where his neck lifted so people could enter. Some walked up his tail or climbed his warm scales. Floa, Odin and a cameraman somehow got the best seats, right on top of Jormun’s scaly head.

The team had split up and Blossom went off with her older sisters. Mikhale and Valande went their separate way to speak with other old friends.

As expected, Kanade loved the looks of admiration her fiery gold dress drew attention to. So she did as he wanted and straightened her back and sashayed at his side while he had male swagger. Moving and relishing in the awed attention did in fact ease the sexual strain and tension in herself. She thought “Thank you for stoppin’ me. I feel pretty.”

“Me too.” He chuckled and she shoved her shoulder in his arm, still awed by how hard his muscles are. “Wish me luck.”

“You don’t need luck when you have me.” She said and kissed his cheek as they funneled in. He rumbled low and deep in his chest she felt it more than heard.

Kanade stood up in front of the gathering inside the World Snake’s circle. Thor stood alone inside four burning bonfires that made up an imaginary square. His long tan tail swaying while the famous hammer spun round and round as if it weighed less than a feather. To anyone else it was more than twenty tons of fury. Ethan approached, pulling his black gauntlets from his belt and putting them on. His large body had started making the crowds hush and pay full attention.
