"Because you have yet to give in to me."

  Chapter 10

  ..soon to be lost..

"Wh'eh is he?" Gracie said to herself, sitting uncomfortably in her old green desk chair. She stared at the bright computer screen, seconds away from tracking the phone of her close friend. She took a breath, trying to soothe her nerves. "Allen, y'ah bett'ah be okay."

  -

Hours passed and still no one happened upon the body lying limp in an old alleyway. If anyone had come across the place, they would be in for a gruesome sight.

Allen lay bloodied and cold on the dirty, wet ground. To anyone glancing upon the scene, they would assume him to be dead and leave him there, in fear of being involved. But had they ventured closer, and took a moment to see, they would notice the faint light in his grey eyes, the subtle move of his chest as he struggled to breathe, and the fire of determintion spread across his bruised face.

Soon the sun set, and Allen was cast into splintering cold, and eerie darkness. Had he really been left to die, in a place like this? So close to happiness, yet with it still out of arms reach. Luna was gone, his honor was gone, and soon, he feared, so would his life.

  Chapter 11

  ..twinkle, twinkle, little moon..

Antonio brushed his lips against mine for a second, and I squeezed my eyes close, fearing what was going to happen next. I felt his breathe hot on my neck, as he pressed a slow and deliberate kiss along the delicate skin.

"Stop." I murmured, trying to pull out of his grasp. He tightened his hold on me, kissing my neck harder, running his tongue along the soft flesh, before pulling away to stare into my face. I opened my eyes, and stared back.

"Why should I?" He asked smugly, smirking at me, pulling me closer again. I glared back, refusing to play into his stupid game. "You tried to kill me, therefor I have a right to claim you."

"I don't see your logic." I stated, disgusted. He leaned back against his seat, smirking at me as if he knew something I never could. I frowned back, and he only smiled more.

"You're mine now chica." He stated bluntly. How arrogant his gaze seemed, so self-entitled.

"I don't belong to anyone, Mr. Marquis." I said smoothly, glaring into his brown eyes. "Especially not someone like you."

"Really?" He said lowly, leaning closer to me. "Then prove it darling." I glared at him more, pulling against the rope and handcuffs that were restraining my arms and legs. I really was at his mercy, wasn't I? I hadn't any hope at all, I concluded silently, not a single hope in the world.

  -

I stared deep into her piercing blue eyes, seeing a hint of fear in their depth. Luna Reyes, the Lady Messiah, was scared. A smirk began to stain my face, as I looked down on her with the eyes of a hunter.

"So, little moon, how does it feel to have no control, to be at the mercy and will of another person?" I said lowly, smirking devilishly. She only frowned in her fiery way, remaining silent. After a moment she blinked, shivering, staring into my eyes. What could she have seen, that made her shiver so? '...unimaginable depth, such animosity, such evil, I bet she thinks..' I thought to myself in place for her silence, as I watched her scoot as far away from me as she could. 'And his smile, she wants to say. Such a cruel smile spread across his handsome face.'

"What are you going to do with me, Mr. Marquis?" She frowned at me. "After all, you have a captive audience."

"Oh, don't worry about that dear, you will see soon enough what I have planned for you." I chimed, venom seeping from every word. "Besides, you have more important things to worry about than that." I smirked. "Like your friend back there." Her eyes lit up at once.

"You didn't have him killed, did you!?" She gasped, biting down on her bottom lip. I ran my tongue over my lips, seeing her eyes well up with tears. She stared at me, silent. I smiled back smugly.

"No, I haven't killed him." I spoke smoothly. She remained silent, staring into my eyes. I could tell that my coldness repulsed her. My darkness and mystery intrigued her. I bet she wanted to get into my head and see how I worked. She took a breath and swallowed her tears to keep from crying. I paused for a moment, before speaking again. My voice darker, animosity blazing my eyes. "At least, not yet of course."

"PLEASE DON'T!" She cried fervently, crystal eyes pleading.

I smiled back cruelly, listening to her beg. I grab her by the collar of her shirt, roughly pulling her into me, venom dripping from my tongue as I whisper: "Why shouldn't I?" I could feel her heart beat faster, her body pressed against mine, her jacket would tightly about her shoulders.

"P-Please...please...just don't hurt him." She nearly cried, beginning to quiver like a leaf in a rain storm. "Please... I will do anything..."

I stared into her pleading eyes, never before have I seen her, the Lady Messiah, so helpless and vulnerable, shaking with fear. I grip both sides of her head tightly yet gently as to not bruise her. "And what will you do for me little moon?"

"Anything... anything..." She began to cry, the tears rolling softly down her pretty face. She was at my complete mercy. My will, my power, would determine whether this little vixen would live or not. "Please... Antonio... I will do anything..."

I smirked in amusement. I really did like the way she said my name. "Then you will work for me, my little moon, and if you cross me," I balled my hand into a fist, pointing my thumb up against my neck, moving it like a knife. "Your friend dies."

She stared at me, gasping past her tears. I tangled my fingers in her hair gently, as she nodded.

"Good puta." She looked away angrily.

"Don't call me that!" She growled, her fire blazing up, refusing to dampen. "I thought you weren't going to break me yet." She mumbled beneath her breath. I laughed, sadistically, cruelly.

"Oh, I haven't broken you let my sweet." I spoke, her face inches from mine. She raised her eyes back to me, glaring with such a look of hatred.

"Prove it!" She growled in my face. I pushed her back harshly, away from me.

"SILENCIO PUTA!" I yelled at her tangled form. She gasped, wincing in pain, unable to move from the uncomfortable position.

"..m-make me." She stuttered out. I growled in frustration, slapping her roughly across the face.

"I don't want to break you yet Luna." I said, collecting myself. She winced again, sitting up as much as she could.

"Then prove you don't!" She spat at me, glaring daggers. I wiped spit from my face, ferocity and anger seeping from me. I restrained myself, talking smoothly, rage and anger clearly in my voice. "Not yet."

"Not yet!? NOT YET!?" She glared at me, eyes full of an unexpected anger, threatening her already obscured sanity. "I dare you to try!" I reached out to her, wrapping a hand around her neck, surely bruising the creamy skin.

"Why?" I growled through gritted teeth. She coughed, unable to speak. She glared at me, face paling, before turned red.

I smirked sadistically, letting go. "Are you going to behave now?"

She stared at me, giving me only silence.

I glared at her, beginning to lose my patience. "So you're going to play it that way?"

She remained silent, narrowing her dazzling eyes at me angrily. I smirked at her stubbornness, leaning into her, talking into her neck.

"Now don't be this way, little moon~" I could feel her heart begin to beat faster, and she shivered.

"Get away from me." She growled. I smiled devilishly, leaning closer into her, looking up into her eyes.

"Should I? Or do you want me to finish off your friend instead?" She looked down at me, desperation written across her face, clouding her anger. Her fear dissolving her fire. I laughed lowly, seeing her fire die.

"Now," I tilted her head up, looking at her, eye to eye. "Are you going to be good my little vixcen?" She closed her eyes and pulled her head away slowly, out of my touch.

  "Yes sir."
