by Angel Black
“Err…” Connor felt more and more out of his depth.
“Don’t worry. Humans aren’t that convoluted. She still likes you. Just remember, the date is a gift of an adventure. She has no idea what you are yet, and the fun for her is unraveling the mystery.”
Falon just nodded and made mental notes. He had a lot to learn, apparently. The bartender kept throwing out bits of advice, until it was time for Falon to leave. He handed over his card and the bartender quirked an eyebrow. “Hmm…”
“Hey, how about you let me pick a restaurant and make a reservation for you… at the kind of place men with these cards go.” He chuckled. “You call the girl and tell her you’ll be making the reservation and picking her up.”
* * *
That wasn’t just alcohol.
Falon realized that as soon as he left the bar, although he was still a bit tipsy, the swimming sensation of peace had left. Instead, the emotions of infatuation for Alexandra, and the fear of Elemanias’s father had started to tear him apart again.
Angel switched between calling me Falon and Connor. And he kept making references to ‘humans’ and how they act.
Falon realized that his little pocket of the world had sheltered him from things he could not begin to understand. There were things outside of the Pax Gloria that he had never read about. Things like Angel.
Although the bartender had not smelled like dragon blood, now that Falon thought about it, he didn’t exactly smell like a human either.
Chapter 11: Sex at Night
Alexandra felt nervous as she fussed over her dress. She didn’t know this guy very well, but the connection between them was clear. She had been very relieved when he had decided to pick a restaurant and she felt a lot more comfortable. She had picked a simple, elegant dress and heels, her hair styled loose and in simple waves. She felt ready, but she still couldn’t believe that she was going out with a man like this—a man who was so successful, who also happened to be incredibly handsome, and who she had a connection with to boot. It felt too good to be true.
Alexandra shifted her weight and was startled when a knock came from her front door. She hadn’t expected him to be so punctual, but he was right on the minute. Smoothing out her dress again, Alexandra grabbed her bag and headed to the door. She opened it up and was greeted by the sight of Connor.
He was in a black suit this evening, his shirt a crisp white, his tie white to match. He was well-dressed and he was smiling in a way that sent shivers down Alexandra’s spine. For one insane moment, she felt the impulse to just invite him in and let him take her right there and then. Alexandra blushed at her own impulsive thoughts. That wasn’t like her, but there’s a first time for everything.
Take me.
She smiled instead. “Connor, hello…”
“Alexandra…” Connor pulled out a bunch of flowers and Alexandra was awestruck at the beauty of the roses. They were red and there were at least two dozen of them. She took them with trembling hands. “Connor, thank you.”
He smiled and shrugged like it was nothing and Alexandra hurried to put them in a vase, filling it up with water. She hurried back to the door and he smiled. “Ready to go?”
Alexandra nodded and Connor offered his arm. She took it and a few moments later, he was opening the door up to his limo and helping her inside. He joined her and the limo sped off through the streets.
“Good evening, Madame,” said a British man up front in the driver’s seat.
“Good evening!”
“My name’s Gerald, and this young gentleman has been quite the nervous wreck over you.”
Falon made a sheepish grin towards her.
“Don’t let his calm demeanor fool you,” Gerald said. “This gentleman’s been grilling both me and his day driver for tips on how to treat an American woman. Trust me, you’re going to have a good evening, I suspect. Just don’t hurt him, he’s my favorite customer, although half the time I can’t understand his accent…”
Without even a goodbye, Gerald lifted up the window divide, giving them privacy.
Is there anyone he can’t charm?
Alexandra shifted, and suddenly became aware of the quiet little space that barely separated them. He was sitting next to her, and she could not keep her thoughts straight. Something about his cologne, which smelled like a freshly showered male, made her body scream to touch him. What did you say to a guy like this when you had thoughts like that? How did you start a conversation and what was the proper way to behave? It scared her, how powerfully the visualisations hit her, especially the way her desire tightened and coiled liquid within her.
Falon being Falon, seemed completely aware of the sexual tension, but completely comfortable with it. His eyes simmered into her. Blue chips of ice that burned into her soul.
“So, Alexandra…” He smiled. “Have you always lived here?”
His lips were full and sensuous, distracting. What did he just say?
Alexandra shook her head. “No, I used to live in a small town called Hanover, but I moved here about seven years ago to study, and then work.” She smiled softly.
He spoke with an easy air, letting the small talk flow through her, but his eyes showed that he was acutely aware of her desire. She could have sworn she saw him sniff the air when she started to get wet from thinking about him inside of her.
He nodded and Alexandra added, “What about you? Where are you from? I can’t pick your accent.”
Connor laughed. “My parents believed in a cosmopolitan education, so I was raised in several different countries. South Africa, Sweden, Britain, Spain. I picked up a strange accent from it I think.”
He changed the subject quickly, his eyes lighting up with curiosity. “If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?”
“Here. I love this city. It’s called Charm City for a reason. I love the harbor, I love the melting pot of people and the cost of living here is much lower than most cities. It’s like a dream, almost.”
Connor nodded and she could see genuine interest in his eyes, in the tilt of his head and the questions that he was asking. He seemed genuinely interested and Alexandra found herself opening up to him more and more with each question he asked.
He leaned forward a little and Alexandra found that she didn’t mind that he was in her space. He rested his hand on hers and Alexandra was startled by the way his beautiful blue eyes were burning. There was something about him. Something intense, forward. He was charming, almost regal, and yet… he was genuine. There was something direct and open about him, something so very real that Alexandra was drawn towards.
“Alexandra, are you happy?” The question was forward, bold and personal and Connor was holding her hand. She felt the distance close between them. His other hand brushed the hair from her eyes and stroked her cheek.
He was so intimate, so soon. Alexandra had never known so clearly that someone wanted her. It was exhilarating, it was overwhelming. It left Alexandra feeling a little bit breathless.
“Well, I’m happy right now,” she answered honestly, and Connor’s eyes seemed to light up.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Alexandra was struck by how fancy it was. It was easily the most expensive restaurant in the city and Alexandra felt chills. Did he really think she was worth spending all this money on? She bit her lip, feeling a little shy.
Oh wait, he doesn’t really think of money like that.
They were immediately escorted to their seats, in a private room called the Royal Suite, where they could hear the buzzing of everyone from the rest of the restaurant in a low pleasant hum. It felt like she could spy on the rest of the world there from their little cove in the fancy restaurant. The atmosphere was regal, no other way to describe. Low, dim lighting with the ambience of exotic foods and flowers wafting through the room. She couldn’t imagine Connor eating anywhere else.
The food was amazing and the conversation was intimate. Connor reached across the table often, touching her hand, or her arm. His legs bru
shed hers and Alexandra felt a combination of arousal and wine go to her head. She couldn’t remember when someone had showered her with this much genuine attention. He was forward, he didn’t play games, and he knew how to treat a lady.
They had just finished a creme brulee, which Connor seemed to find amazing, like someone who had never had it before. Dessert was done, and she was already on her second glass of wine, when she suddenly wondered what time it was and realized she hadn’t checked her phone once.
She glanced down at her purse, realizing that she had ignored several calls and had forgotten to respond to them. She had heard it vibrate, but it was hard to concentrate on anything other than Connor.
“Excuse me a second,” she said, leaving to check her phone in the bathroom instead of being rude and doing it in front of him.
It had been four hours already. It was already eleven o’clock and she wasn’t even close to tired. She really didn’t want to leave him.
Standing at the washroom sink, Alexandra thought about everything that had happened in the past few days. It had been a whirlwind, an absolute rollercoaster of emotion and incredible feelings. She had never felt these heavy lows and soaring highs before, and now she was feeling them all together.
The strange thing was, the lows didn’t seem to matter. She had been suspended, well no, not even. She’d been given a week’s vacation, something she should have done years ago, but decided instead to work eighty hours a week which was probably causing her the stress she was in now. She had found out that she couldn’t give birth, but she could still walk, still talk, still see, and could still afford a comfortable life. Besides, if it had Connor in it, maybe he could afford a surrogate?
Wow. Already thinking of a future with him?
She smiled shyly at herself in the mirror.
Fuck, I got to text the girls back. Let them know I’m safe.
Lynn and Rashonda were dying of curiosity about the “Foreign Businessman.” Rashonda said she wanted pictures of his Red Room, and Lynn said she wanted to have a little Godchild in nine months.
These girls are savages.
She couldn’t shake the feeling of being comfortable around Connor, the feeling that she knew him somehow, that he was familiar in a way that she couldn’t quite place, that being with him felt like coming home.
Alexandra freshened up and then touched up her makeup. She adjusted her hair and smoothed her dress back out, after reapplying her perfume, leaving a subtle, but pleasant scent.
Alexandra bit her lip as she thought about Connor, thought about the way his hands had found new ways to touch her, the way he had brushed against her, the intensity of his eyes and the way he made her feel inside, the arousal, and the comfortable, pleasant emotions that were rising inside her. She felt both excited and comfortable, aroused and with the heady rush of pleasant warmth in her heart.
She would do it. She would sleep with Connor. Alexandra didn’t usually sleep with men she had just met. In fact, she had never done it before in her life and she never thought that she would, but it was getting harder and harder to ignore the emotions and the desires inside of her. The thought of going home alone with those dreams, the thought of being away from his clean scent was just not realistic.
She wanted him. She hadn’t been with anyone since her last breakup and with the rollercoaster of a week she had had, this seemed like something she needed. She couldn’t get pregnant anyway and she had nothing to lose, and some fun to gain, if nothing else.
She decided that she would return his advances when she got back to the table, and stop playing so coy. She wanted him and he had made it very clear that he wanted her. Who was Alexandra to argue? She headed out of the bathroom, feeling fresher and secure in her choice. However, she didn’t get the chance to even sit down again. Connor was waiting for her at the table. He had her coat over one arm and there was something in his eyes that had changed, something that sent electricity jolting through her and zapping her heart. She knew, even before he spoke, what he wanted.
“Everything is paid for. We can leave whenever you are ready to go.” He moved closer to her, grabbing her hand, sliding one hand up her back. He was close. The electricity was moving like a current between them, the tension building and burning between them. His voice was low and hushed, “Alexandra… I want to go now. I want you. I can’t wait.”
The passion in his voice was raw and very, very real. It was absolutely intoxicating, the feel of his hands on her skin, his eyes staring so deeply within hers, his voice resonating through her body.
Alexandra felt like a feather in a hurricane, caught up in his power. His will dominated hers, overlapping hers, until she was but a burning flame caught in the wildness of his fire.
Take me.
He sniffed, subtly, at the air. Then a dark machete smile spread itself across his face.
* * *
Alexandra all but tumbled into the limo, feeling Connor slide in beside her. Doors were shut and the limo screen was put up, dividing them from the driver. Alexandra felt her breath leave her in a rush and Connor slid his hands around her body, pulling her in against him. She could feel her heartbeat quicken at the touch of his hands against the fabric of her dress.
She needed him. She wanted him. She was drawn to him and there was no escaping the pull. When his lips found hers, Alexandra saw stars exploding across her vision. She kissed him back, feeling the searing passion move between them, the pleasure rising, intoxicating and deep. She shuddered and slid her hands across his shoulders, running her fingers through his hair, so blonde it might have been frost.
She felt a shudder move through her and she tightened her grip. His kiss was like fire, moving through her body and leaving her dazed. She pressed against him, feeling the tight angles of his muscles beneath his suit.
His hands were in her hair, running through her waves, sliding down to brush her back.
Alexandra gasped as he lifted her, and pulled her into his lap. No, that can’t be his… It’s that big?
She could feel something like a spear pressing against her, causing her wetness and desire to mix with fear.
He kissed her harder, his lips moving to suck at the curve of her throat, his tongue tracing patterns along her skin that made her pulse jump and her heart race. Her breathing was coming in quick gasps and Alexandra realized that she couldn’t wait to get out of the limo and fall into bed with him. He caressed the bare skin of her legs that were exposed from her short skirt, his large hands kneading the muscles of her thighs. Hiking her dress up, he brought his hands up to cup her ass while he assaulted her mouth with his tongue.
Alexandra couldn’t ever remember feeling this good, feeling the endorphins rise inside of her. He felt incredible and it was impossible to resist the pleasure building up. When the limo finally parked, it was a wretch to pull herself away from him, to leave the feeling of his arms.
He caught her, though, imprisoning her by the arms.
Alexandra was breathless, flushed, and Connor looked the same way. His eyes, so inhumanly blue, were shining and incredible. She realized that she could easily lose herself in the way he looked at her, in the way he murmured her name.
“Not yet,” he said. “In sex, you are mine, and you will obey me.”
What is wrong with me that this turns me on? I passed the bar! I should hate this.
He moved her arms so that her hands were behind her back, and he easily chained her wrists together with one of his hands, forming a vice she could not escape from. She tested his grip, trying to wiggle from it, but it just caused him to smile. She could feel her eyelids sulking low from the sheer sexual deliciousness he exuded.
“You are mine,” he continued, using his other hand, running it up her back and into her scalp. He massaged her skull with a light caress at first, then took hold of her hair by the roots, tugging her head back while he pushed their bodies together. The feel of his hard muscles against her soft breast was intoxicating, while his large erection was intimid
ating.
“Open your mouth,” he said. As she obeyed, he assaulted her mouth with his tongue, claiming her mouth with his.
He let go of her hair with his right hand, while still using his left hand to hold her against him. For some reason, the lack of stimulation from the hair pulling made her hungrier for more, and she pressed her face even harder into his kiss.
He murmured as she dominated the kiss, as she pushed and gyrated her hips into his sex. She felt his right hand move slowly down her back and grip her ass again. This time, though, his hand didn’t stop there. Instead, he moved his caress until it rubbed her wet lips, teasing her as he grazed the sides of her clit while he stroked her lips.
She moaned at his ruthlessness, ready to swear at him for teasing her needs.
She drove her tongue in deeper into his mouth, giving him the hint, and he obliged, moving his hand from behind to her low cut bust line, and freeing one of her breasts. Suckling at it, he brought his right hand to her pussy, and fingered her, pushing two long thick fingers inside of her and forming a come here motion.
Holy shit! It’s… It’s…. She couldn’t believe it, somehow this man was already on the cusp of making her come. He had found her g-spot and stroked it in that come here motion, and between the sensation of his wet tongue on her nipples and his strong fingers inside of her, she felt her walls start to clench against his fingers.
She tried to fight it, to hold on even longer to the moment.
“Fuck me,” she said.
He laughed, and murmured against her nipples in her teeth, “Say please, baby.”
“Please fuck me,” she said.
“I’m going to fuck you in a limousine. Because you’re mine, Alexandra.”
He pulled his fingers out of her and unzipped his pants, while his left hand still held her captured. In seconds, his huge thick smooth cock stood naked at full attention. He saw the trepidation in her eyes, as he rubbed his head at her entrance, teasing her, as he stroked the velvet of his corona against her moist wet lips.
