I nod, my eyes still closed. "All they did was get a taste of the power. They're going to want it more than ever."
"What do we do?"
"There's only one way I know to win. And you stopped me from that harebrained plan." I smile.
"That’s not winning. We only win if we're together."
I close my eyes and breath her in. I don’t know if we can win this, but we haven’t lost yet. So I might as well cherish every small moment of happiness fate will allow.

THE SIRENS ARE COMING
—both from the sea and from inside Whitley’s own mind.
Her memories are fading. Her siren instincts are rising. And when she strikes, killing a pirate aboard The Freedom, she flees Bluff’s harsh reaction—into the sea.
Bluff tracks Whitley all the way back to New York City, in a race to reach her before the sirens. He must convince her to trust him again before she kills half of Manhattan. Which will be challenging, considering she doesn’t even remember who he is.

THE FIGHT FOR HER HEART will decide the battle.
The same power Captain Stede and the Siren Queen so desperately desire is the secret to Whitley and Bluff's survival. But first, they must uncover how to use it without destroying them both. One slip, and Whitley will be back under the control of the Siren Queen for good. So first, they'll track down the Witch that made the prophecy to start with and hope another betrayal isn't right around the corner.
The battle is coming, in fact it’s already begun—they just don’t know it yet.

Acknowledgements
First, thank you to my husband, Sean. Indie publishing is so much more of a commitment than what we’ve been used to (because I had to do nearly EVERYTHING myself). Thank you for supporting this dream of mine.
Thank you to my beta readers Kelley York, Stephen Morgan and Michelle Kollar for your suggestions, tough love and encouragement. And Chantal Ostroske for helping to polish the final version. Thank you to Kat Kenyon, for facilitating the Westside Writer’s group and Scribblers and Scribes to help keep me motivated and on track!
Thank you, again, to Kelley York for WONDERFUL covers that I adore.
Thank you to my editor Josiah Davis for your calm logic and patience. You helped to smooth out my writing without affecting the voice which is worth more than gold!
Thank you to every person who read Sea of Treason on Wattpad. Especially those who read the book in one night, voting for each chapter as you went. It was a wonderful feeling to know that—right then—my words were keeping someone else up late. When I wrote Sea of Treason I was in a huge writing rut and Wattpad really helped to pull me out of it.
Thank you to all of the amazing indie author Facebook pages and podcasts that helped me learn SO MUCH so quickly.
I’m certain there are more I’m missing and many more to come in future acknowledgements. Til’ then!
About the Author
Stacey Trombley is a casino pit boss by night, YA author by day. She lives in Ohio with her husband, son, and GSD Riley. When she’s not writing or reading her husband is probably dragging her along on one of his crazy adventures for this travel vlog or competing against him about who can pick the most Survivor winners in the first episode (hint: she’s winning). But mostly, she’s probably reading.
