He sneered at her. “You say that as if I am unworthy to be called?”
She stared back incredulously at him. He was kidding right? “No my Lord, I simply meant that I didn’t wish to suffer your wrath as the Unseelie had is all. I have exhausted every outlet but I am trapped here. I need…help.”
Amele looked down ashamed. She had never needed help before. Never. She had taken on every big bad ugly in the magical realms, except the Elementals of course, and had kept her head. But being trapped and unable to act, well it was like slow murder. She would storm the Unseelie castle herself, damn the consequences if she thought there was hope of rescuing her friend.
“You really care for the young immortal, do you not?” he looked at her curiously.
“I do. She has grown on me. And we need her to get back to
Bodhe to set things right.”
He hovered thoughtfully over the water for a moment, which of course gave her a chance to check him out in all his glory. His skin was blue tinged of course like all the water Elementals but it wasn’t at all gross. On the contrary, to her it made him that much more beautiful. Every muscle on his body was rippling before her and the package contained beneath the loincloth that he wore…wow. His massive thighs stretched out beneath him and a thin band wrapped around one of them. Bands also strained against the muscles on his arms and his wet blue-black hair spiked short and crazy around him. Men in this era would pay a great deal of money for that hairstyle, and it appeared that the elemental merely had to get wet and there it was. She licked her lips without noticing and watched as his blue eyes flashed black for a moment.
Startled she nearly jumped, but held her ground. She had not known anyone that had ever seen an Elemental’s eyes turn like that. Of course, the days of being on good terms with the Gods was long since passed.
“If I were to tell you that she is not the key to the worlds being mended, what would you ask of me then?”
What did he mean that she was not the one causing the veils to fall? But the prophesy!
“What do you mean? How can she not be the cause? It is written.”
“But by whom?” He grinned
“No one knows for sure, the prophesy just appeared one day.”
“Well, that’s not entirely true. There is one Sidhe that knows who wrote it. But that is not important right now. I am telling you that the worlds will be righted. What then shall you ask of me?” She looked at him. “And what of Isabel?”
“She is still alive, but the only thing she holds sway over is the eternal sleep that her mother is in. Her choice could have indeed fallen two kingdoms if she had chosen wrong, but she has nothing to do with the shadows moving freely. If she dies with the Unseelie the only repercussion at this point would be the loss of her mother.”
She deliberated through her head. Should she really make a deal with a God to save her? Any number of things could happen. But she could not leave her there. No way. Not with the rotting Uglies. She reached a quick conclusion.
“And your price Elemental? To return Isabel safely and to restore the balance of the worlds?” She walked defiantly closer to the edge of the lake. Closer to him.
Grinning he looked at her. He must really be enjoying this. “So, let me reiterate. You would like Isabel returned safely, unharmed or touched by the Unseelie…and you want to restore the balance of the worlds. Specifically the veil I presume since there is no such thing as balance when we are talking about the magical worlds. Chaos is the balance in the shadow realms. And you understand that the balance will be restored regardless?”
Amele nodded and spoke through clenched teeth. “Your price Elemental.”
He chuckled.
“I shall require a simple thing from you. Three months at my disposal. No more, no less,” he crossed his huge arms over his chest and looked at her.
“Will you let me say goodbye to Isabel?”
“That is not unreasonable. You may say goodbye.”
“So I am to be your slave for three months?’ Nothing could really be worse than the dragons. “And you promise you won't …alter me?”
He contemplated this with a wicked grin. “It would be a pity to change you in any way. I can assure you that your vanity and looks shall remain intact. You will not however be able to sift for those months. You must remain in a place of my choosing.”
Blood flooded her cheeks. Looking at him and trying to decide how he could deceive her she realized that it was futile anyway. She had to do this. “I agree to your terms Water God. Three months it is.”
Water spiked from beneath him in a surge of power and his gorgeous blue eyes closed. She watched as his magnificent arms rose from his sides and lightning crashed all around them. Rain pelted her skin and water spouts began circling the lake. Amele gasped wondering what fury she had unleashed.
Slowly, his eyes opened and he grinned. “You may return to Loveryn and you will find Isabel there with the Prince. You have one day to say goodbye little immortal. Then I shall come gather you. The veil will be reforged before the end of that time and the worlds shall once again be made right.”
Gasping and wiping the water from her face she glared. “You tricked me! She is not in the Unseelie kingdom then? How did she escape?” She yelled at him.
He chuckled. “You did not ask me if she was still there and I was not obliged to tell you. It was only a short time ago that the Prince found a way to go retrieve her, and it just so happens that they broke the curse while they were at it. So you may wish to give them a little while before you go barging in.” He winked at her.
“Son of a…”
“Careful little one. Angering a God can have unpleasant repercussions. I shall see you tomorrow. Wear something that you don’t mind getting wet,” he smiled at her and disappeared, taking all the rain, lightning and water spouts with him.
Chapter 23
When the darkness cleared, she felt Bodhe nuzzling her neck and holding her tightly to him. He was still inside her and God, he was still hard. The perfect full lips sought hers and she let the deepness of his kiss overtake her for a moment, forgetting her anger briefly.
“Bodhe, open your eyes,” she commanded softly.
He did. “Yes princess, we are home. And we are going to the bath but do not even think of removing your little body from mine, I am not done with you yet,” he growled softly.
Just his words were enough to make her clench around him in anticipation. “But I don’t understand how we’re back here? I thought we would certainly be killed by the Unseelie.”
He picked her up so that he was still deep inside her and she groaned as he walked towards the bathroom. Even the smallest movement caused that lightning that she had grown to love shoot off within her body. His teeth nipped at her neck and then ripped off her top. A luxury he didn’t have time for before.
“The curse states that consummation with love shall break it and return you home. This is your home Isabel and I am your partner,” he growled and flicked his wrist and the water warmed for her just before he stepped into the waterfall. Holding her under it a moment and allowing her to dip her head back and wash the hair that was still matted he smiled. As she arched back he went deeper inside her, shuddering and gripping her bottom firmly. The back stone of the waterfall was smooth and he could wait no more to take her again.
Hmph! Love? He did not love her! But why did he feel so good? She could no sooner make him get out of her than she could speak right now. The water felt so good on her skin and his shaft pressed her insides so perfectly. She wanted more. Liar or not.
She felt her back touch the cool stone behind the little fall and kept her legs wrapped around him tightly. Sliding out of her slowly he set fire to her sex again. She gasped and he brought his mouth to hers, licking her in slow circles before plunging hard her core. She screamed with ecstasy.
“Look at me,” he ordered her.
She opened her golden eyes and saw his own burning just as bright. They were both envelo
ped in a sphere of light from the passion they shared.
“I still hate you for lying to me Bodhe, but don’t stop right now. Please.” Her body clenched around him, begging for more of its own accord.
The massive length of him was nearly pulled out and then slammed into her again, making her squeal.
“We shall have words soon of this accusation Princess, but for now, I plan to remain in you until you scream my name with the same amount of passion and love that I feel. Do you understand?”
She nodded, what other response was there really to that?
“Good.” He brought her arms over her head with one arm and held her with the other under her ass. His fiery lips came down on her nipples, one at a time, biting and sucking until she was moaning inaudibly beneath his mouth and stroking her hands through his beautiful hair.
Isabel felt him pick up the pace a little, and watched as he pummeled her with his huge cock and licked his lips. Seeing his shaft slipping in and out of her looked as if it was driving him crazy. Was there no end to this male’s sexuality? Looking him over hungrily as his golden muscles rippled before her and saying his name aloud she saw him shake his head.
“Oh no, it will need to be much louder than that my dear,” he grinned wickedly and thrust inside her even harder.
She gasped as he stopped entirely. “Bodhe, please. Please don’t stop,” she moaned.
“What was that Princess? I don’t think I can hear you,” he smiled
“Bodhe!”
He just chuckled and started moving in a slow rhythm within her again. Deep and slow he moved, watching her writhe beneath him. He was going to drive her mad! Her body was boiling and she wanted him slamming into her. She wanted him to be rough. She felt like an animal and wanted one back.
“Harder Bodhe. Now,” she growled.
He just grinned at her through his own clenched teeth and continued the slow torture. Was he trying not to hurt her still? No, he was doing this deliberately. The heat began to rise from the pit of her stomach and extended outwards, apparently slow was working just the same. The thrusts turned more vicious as the heat rose and she could see him losing the battle.
“Oh yes Bodhe, that’s it. Harder even!”
He seemed like he wasn’t ready for the beast to overtake him but when she screamed at him he lost control, pumping himself hard and fast within her.
“Oh Gods Isabel, I want to stay inside you forever,” he panted. All she could do was moan. The fire was about to erupt and send her over the edge. She felt his hand squeezing her ass harder and the heat was about to consume them both. As her toes curled and the eruption came she did scream for him. Very, very loudly.
When his hot seed stopped pumping finally and she stopped shaking she received his mouth, warm, wet and inviting. He sat down on a small stone bench that was beneath the waterfall and kept her straddled to him.
Oh! Really? How in the world could he be grinning at her like he was ready to go again? For that matter, why was her body responding to it?
“Il weiren meyth” he whispered to her as she just looked as if she had been slapped.
Some of her senses returning to her she narrowed her eyes and looked at him. “You still have not explained about Rhonan. What is truth and what is lies that has come from your mouth? Is anything in that closet really mine or am I using her things?”
She crossed her hands over her chest defiantly and glared. His face softened even as he grinned a little.
“Isabel, listen to me. I did not ever lie to you. Everything is yours and always has been, including the gifts that I made for you. Rhonan has never been my ‘mate’. Your sword and dagger will return to you shortly as well. They cannot remain in a realm without you,” he smiled.
God he felt so good inside of her. Perfect even. The soft throbbing of his hard cock inside her wet folds was almost enough for her to forget that she was mad. Almost.
“But what about the vision? Bodhe, my mother. If this is true, take me to her and let me see her. She should be awake!”
Isabel practically flew off of him. Wait, holy shit, she was hovering. Dripping wet in more places than one she most certainly was not touching the floor where a small puddle was beginning. She looked back to a grinning Bodhe.
“The blood moon rises shortly Isabel. And it looks like you will be flying as we do after all.”
She set herself down by willing herself to the floor. Well that was going to take some getting used to! She grabbed a fluffy cloth and dried herself, racing to her closet. At least she hoped it was her closet. Choosing a simple white dress and satin slippers she hurriedly put them on and raced to the balcony. She watched as Bodhe put a pair of ripped jeans and a tunic just as quickly and never took his eyes off of her. She raised her eyebrows.
“What? So I like clothes from this era in the human world. The jeans are...comfortable.”
She looked at him and felt the heat rising again. Even in plain clothes that didn’t scream other worldly Prince, he could melt the garments off of any woman in an instant. Goodness and that bulge! Does it ever stop? But even as she thought it her own desires rose again. Never had she seen a more perfect ass in a pair of jeans. Ever.
Bodhe started laughing. “Do you like these my dear?”
Face turning crimson she shrugged. “They’re nice I suppose.” He furrowed his brows and crossed his arms over his chest.
“Indeed.”
Just then the dagger and sword appeared on the bed out of thin air and she gasped.
“Strap them on Isabel, we have had some unsavory beings cross into our world recently.”
She did as she was told and strapped the sword to her back then began lifting the skirt of her dress for the dagger.
Bodhe was on her thigh with his mouth in a second, his lips burning her skin as he licked and bit towards her ever wet center.
“Oh!”
She wrapped her fingers in his hair and looked down at the beautiful beast just as his mouth covered her little nub, sucking her greedily. Steadily he sucked and licked, bringing her to a raging orgasm before she could even protest. Had his hands not have been steadying her she would surely have hit the ground as she climaxed.
He took her dagger from her hand and strapped it to her left arm instead. He grinned at her as he stood, her face flush with passion.
“I wasn’t finished Princess. And the dagger there will not only be difficult to get to but it will have me commanded between your legs if you raise that skirt. Which would not be good if we are being attacked by a shadow being correct?”
She just nodded dumbly, still reeling from his mouth. No way she was his first. He was like a Don Juan of the Sidhe, she was certain.
“Please Bodhe, take me to my mother.”
He placed a fleeting kiss on her mouth and grinned triumphantly, racing to his own closet for his sword. In a blink of an eye he returned and gathered her into his arms, flying towards the cavern that had been the home of her sleeping mother for twenty-two years.
Chapter 24
Something was terribly wrong. If the spell had been lifted she should be free. She agreed that she would give up her child in exchange for her safety as she grew in the mortal realm. That was the deal. And if she chose the Prince then she would awake. She had been awakened, so why was she still locked in the cave, unable to sift?
Her dress had long since dried and been put on again. Had her own people put the spell on the cave or had the God Isura done it? And to what end? She felt the Prince approaching and though she could reach into his mind it seemed as if he was unable to feel hers. She gasped when she touched her daughter’s. Isabel was coming! She stood and tried to fuss with her tangled blond curls and make herself at least presentable. Maybe Isabel had to come to the tomb herself for the magic to be dispelled.
They landed outside. Oh Gods, her beautiful daughter was just on the other side of this stone. Placing her hands on it she tried to reach out to her and failed. Keiren would soon turn into a caged beast if
she could not get out. All this time and now to be teased like this!
“I don’t understand Isabel, the Cave should have opened when the curse was broken.”
Bodhe lifted his hands and tried to move the rock but it didn’t budge at all. He strained for another moment and then let out a breath heavily.
“It’s magically protected Isabel. We must go to the mages and return here. I don’t know why this hasn’t opened.”
Her heart hammered, dropped, flopped and felt like it completely stopped altogether in her chest. Blood was drumming in her ears and she could feel the heat from its’ rising in her chest and face. Her soul in that very second felt as if it shriveled up and died. She dropped to the ground and pounded the earth with her palms, shaking and squeezing her eyes shut.
Isabel finally looked up at him with a tear running down her defeated face. “Because you lied. She cannot wake until my heart has been given to the right one. Was anything you told me the truth? For that matter, why the hell did you come to me in the Unseelie kingdom? What did you win by bedding me? By making me love you!”
Keiren tried to scream but her voice did not carry beyond the cave. She was to suffer this conversation in silence, unable to tell Isabel what the truth is.
He looked at her as if he’d been struck. “Gods be damned Isabel! How can you still be unsure of me? What must I do to convince you that I have never lied to you and that you are my life! I do not know what magic plays here but it is not woven from the Sidhe.”
He came towards her but she backed away. “No. You will not touch me again until I know what has happened. Everything I have seen shows me that you have betrayed me. And now this too!”
She stormed off guided by only her feet, the aching in her heart and a guess of which way should go. She looked down and realized that it was not her feet guiding her at all, since they weren’t touching the ground anymore. She would’ve found this very cool if she wasn’t raging with hurt at the moment.
