  Part I

“He actually did it”, said Sally as Todd paid the cab driver. “He actually went out and got himself a coliseum.”

Both stood in front of the huge mansion. Despite its rectangular shape, it was clearly designed to resemble a roman coliseum.

“Well,” said Todd, putting his arm around his companion’s waist. “I never doubted it. Mike’s crazy, that’s not news. He always said he would have liked to have owned one, now he does.”

Sally giggled, thankful for the closeness of his body. Her sexy maid’s costume looked great on her, accentuating her tall legs, curvy hips, and full breasts. But it wasn’t exactly warm, and the night was a bit chilly. She glanced at Todd, trying to gauge how he was doing in his ‘calendar fireman’ outfit (which was basically a normal fireman costume, but with the front open to show off his muscles). The cold didn’t seem to bother him.

The front door was open and unguarded, so they just stepped in. Inside Mike’s house, the costume party was in full bloom. Dance music was on, and there were people everywhere dressed in all sorts of costumes. Or undressed, in a lot of cases.

A quick Look around was enough for them to see how big the house was, yet it still seemed crowded. There were familiar faces everywhere. They knew a lot of their friends were coming, but apparently so was everyone they ever knew, or even met. Sally was glad they didn’t arrange to meet up with anybody in particular at the party. They might be able to see all kinds of people, but meeting any one person in particular? Forget it.

So they went around the house’s main rooms for a while, hand in hand. Greeting whichever of their acquaintances or friends they happened to run into.

Then Sally thought she spotted a familiar silhouette inside a toga. A sensual, blonde, and very sexy silhouette.

“Oh. Oh my God,” said Sally, pulling Todd behind her. “Lori?”

The figure turned as Sally and Todd approached her. Her face lit up as soon as she recognized Sally.

  “Sally? Oh my God!”

Sally let go of Todd’s hand and jumped towards Lori, who almost dropped her appletini as they squeezed each other in a hug.

“My God, it’s been so long! I’ve missed you so much!”

“I lost track,” said Lori as they separated, but still kept their hands on each other. “Six or seven years, I think. Too long.”

“Yeah…” Sally gazed at Lori, losing herself in the sight. She was as beautiful as she remembered.

Then a rough hand grabbed hers, and Sally remembered she wasn’t alone. She Looked at Todd, hoping that she didn’t embarrass him or herself. She needn’t have worried. His eyes were all over Lori too.

“Lori, this is Todd. My boyfriend.”

He put out his hand. “Nice to meet you.”

  Lori accepted it. “Same here.”

  “So… You two are friends.”

“Yeah,” said Sally. “We used to be college BFFs. Couldn’t keep us away from each other.”

“How come you haven’t talked in so long? You girls had a fight or something.”

“Hmmm…” Sally didn’t know what to say, so she was thankful when Lori came to the rescue.

“Or something, yeah. Things happen, you know how it is.”

“Sure,” said Todd, clearly with no idea of how it is, but trying not to let it show. “I like your costume. Roman?”

  “A roman goddess, yes.”

  “Which one?” he asked.

“Take your pick. Anyone’s good as long as I get an excuse to wear a toga and nothing else, know what I mean?”

  Sally giggled.

“Ah, oh-kay. Sure, yeah.” Todd shifted in place. Not so much that anyone else would notice it, but Sally knew him and knew what to Look for.

“Liking the red tones on your cheeks, guy,” Lori said. “Some fire going on under the collar there, Mr. Fireman?”

“Yeah. Something like that.” Todd made no effort to even pretend to care about his answer. “Honey, I’m gonna go around and see if I can find Mike, okay? I wanna say hi.”

“Sure,” said Sally while he kissed her cheek.

“You too catch up, though. I’ll see you later, love.”

As he walked away, Lori let out a giggle.

“That was mean,” said Sally, laughing as well.

“Oh come on. You know how I get when guys pretend they’re not checking me out. They’d get closer to something if they were direct.”

  “Yeah, I remember.”

The laughter subsided after a moment.

“So.” Lori made a show of checking out Sally’s body. “Boyfriend, is he? Is it serious?”

Sally nodded, being more careful while checking out Lori. She was as hot as she was in college. Maybe more so. The belt around the toga made nothing to hide her amazing shape. “We’re practically married.”

  “How practically?”

“Enough that we consider ourselves married already. All that’s left is the paper saying it’s real.”

Lori’s body language shifted, and her mannerisms became more closed.

“Is he good to you?” she asked.

“Yeah. Yeah, he’s amazing to me. I love him so much.”

“Good. That’s good. It’s great. I’m happy for you, I really am.” Her words were real, Sally knew her enough to know that. But her smile was as fake as they come.

“Thank you,” said Sally, and tried to change the subject. “How about you? Anyone special?”

“There’s always plenty of special people, you know me.” Lori crept closer to Sally, taking her hand. “Nobody like you were, though.”

  “Lori…”

“Shhh.” She caressed Sally’s hand slowly, bringing it to her lips for a courteous and gentle kiss.

  “Lori… I’m with Todd…”

  Lori smiled.

“I know. I just missed you, that’s all.”

  “I missed you too.”

“Come.” Lori walked away but pulled Sally behind her. “I’ll show you the place.”

  “You know the place?”

“Yeah. Mikey and I had a thing for a couple of minutes months ago. I know the house pretty well.”

They went around the house, their arms locked, pretending they cared for the layout and the decoration. The talk was all
about what happened in their lives since they last saw each other, but even that wasn’t important. They were together. They were close. They were touching each other, however chastely. That’s what both women were truly enjoying. The physical feel of one another.

“What’s that?” said Sally. A handful of guests, though nobody Sally recognized, was gathered around a door, peeking into it.

The two women got closer, peeking behind the others.

The door led to an office (it Looked huge from what little Sally could see). Framed by the doorway, a hand tied courtesan was being face fucked by a gladiator, and clearly enjoying it.

Lori covered her mouth in mock embarrassment. “Oh my God.”

  “You know them?” whispered Sally.

“I know who they are. Wow, I never figured them for the sort.”

Sally tried to walk away, but Lori kept their arms locked and didn’t let her go. With her index finger over her lips, she told Sally to be quiet and turned her attention to the couple.

The gladiator took his glistening cock out of the courtesan’s month, cut her free, and bent her over a desk. She faced forward, and for a moment, locked eyes with Sally.

Then the gladiator ripped open her skirt and fucked her from behind, and the courtesan no longer cared about anything else.

“Okay, that’s fucking hot,” said Lori, not even trying to keep quiet.

Sally didn’t say anything. Yes, it was hot. Very hot. In fact, she was starting to get wet down there. But the wetness wasn’t just for the couple fucking in the office. Sally knew that if she’d let herself get too worked up while she was with Lori, she might do something she’d regret for the rest of her life.

Then she felt a hand on her waist. She was so focused on the couple that she hadn’t noticed, but Lori had crept up behind her. Lori’s hands locked around Sally’s waist, pulling her back to Lori. Their bodies touched, Lori’s front on Sally’s back, her chin on Sally’s shoulder. Sally could’ve sworn she could feel Lori’s hard nipples beneath the layers of fabric.

  “Lori…”

  “Shhh.”

Her hands slowly crept up Sally’s belly, stopping under her breasts. One hand stayed there, teasing the breast. The other went lower again, creeping down until it passed the hem of Sally’s mini-skirt and touched the flesh of her leg. And as it reached to caress the inside of her thigh, the hand that stayed above cupped the breast.

  And Sally moaned.

It was happening. She was getting lost again, right there, in the middle of the party. Lori always did that to her.

Then the couple came out of the office, no shame in their faces. And Sally wished she didn’t love what Lori did to her so much.

With a sudden move, she pulled herself from the embrace and walked away from the other people.

  “No.”

“Sally, wait.” Lori walked behind her.

“This is what happened. This is why I walked away from you. You don’t respect my boundaries, and—

“Boundaries? You have to respect your boundaries. My part is testing them, that’s all. If you weaken, it’s because the boundaries aren’t there. Because you want to. You always did.”

“Yeah.” Sally sighed. “You’re right. I always did. I always wanted you.”

“You still do,” said Lori with a Look so sexy that Sally wanted to fuck her brains out right there.

“Yeah. I suppose there’s no way to lie about it, so why bother? Yeah, I still do. I still want you. But things are different now. I’m with somebody. Somebody I really love, more than anything. He makes me happy, and I want to make him happy too. And cheating on him is not making him happy. It’s not even loving him. He doesn’t deserve that. So no matter how much I want you, Lori, it’s not gonna happen.”

The two women stood in the hallway for a moment. Sally hugged herself, trying hard to not even Look at Lori.

If she did, she could weaken. And she was determined not to. Not this time.

  Then Lori broke the silence.

“Who said anything about cheating on him?”

  “What?”

“I don’t want you to cheat on him.”

  “But we were— you were—”

“Yeah, we were and I was. So?” Sally Looked up at her. Lori was sporting her naughty smile. “You know me. I like all sorts of stuff…”

“Oh.” Sally realized what Lori meant. “Oh, no. No.”

“What do you mean, oh no?”

  “I meant HELL, no.”

“Why not? You saw how he Looked at me. And he’s pretty hot himself, actually. He’d be more than welcome.”

  “Lori, no.”

“Why not? You haven’t given me a reason yet.

“Because he’s my boyfriend. Hell, he’s my husband!”

“Practically your husband. Come on, when has any man ever said no to something like this? Do you really believe he’ll say no?”

Sally didn’t say anything, She knew Todd would say yes. In fact, he’d shown interest in that kind of thing several times.

“Besides,” continued Lori. “Can you imagine the brownie points you’d win with this? You could ask him for anything.”

Sally couldn’t help but smile. Yeah. She could. In fact, she had a couple of fantasies of her own she hadn’t worked up the courage to ask him yet. If they did this…

“No. No!” She took two steps, turning her back on Lori. “If we do this…”

Lori moved closer, gently turning Sally to her. Just as tenderly, she pushed up her chin to Look her in the eyes.

“If we do this, then what? What are you afraid of?”

“Lori, I—I…” Sally sighed. “Lori, I want to have a life with this man. I want to be with him, be his, for the rest of my life…”

  Lori’s smile vanished.

“And you’re scared I’ll ruin it, is that it?”

Biting her lip, Sally nodded. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be. It’s not like I’ve never done that before. But Sally… I want you. I want you so much my body aches for you right now. And you want me too.” Lori moved closer, her faces mere inches away from Sally’s. And her hand went to Sally’s breast, rubbing it. “And I know you want me too.”

  Sally let out a moan. “I do… But I can’t…”

“How about this?” Lori whispered in her ear. “Give me tonight. You’ll talk to Todd, and if he says no we say goodbye like nothing ever happened, and you won’t hear from me again.”

Sally felt Lori’s hand on her thigh, and before she could control herself, she gave it room between her legs.

“And…Aaah… And if he says yes?”

“Then I swear you’ll both have the best night of your lives. And tomorrow we can go our separate ways, and neither of you will have to hear from me ever again.”

That sounded good. It sounded great, in fact. But anything sounded great coming from Lori right then. Sally was lost in her voice and in her touch.

And the truth was, in the back of her mind, she knew exactly how to spend the brownie points she’d earn with Todd. And it could make the night truly memorable.

“So what do you say?” Lori’s seductive voice whispered.

Sally kissed her, hard and longingly. Lori accepted the kiss, her eager tongue tasting Sally’s, both hungry for each other.

Then Sally pulled away from Lori, leaving her dumbfounded.

Sally laughed. “What do I say?” she said as she walked away. “I say ‘stay here, I’ll be right back.’”

  2+1

The dumbfounded look was expected. Todd’s answer, however, took Sally by surprise.

  “No.”

  “No? Honey…”

“Don’t honey me,” he said. “No. I'm not getting into bed with that… woman, and neither are you.”

Sally didn’t expect that. Some reluctance, yes, but outright rejection?

“Honey… Todd… You wanted this. I mean, you’ve asked me for this. I thought this was your big fantasy.”

  “Ask
ed? I begged!” Todd looked around to make sure he wasn’t speaking too loudly, but no one seemed to be paying any attention to the living room alcove they were in. “And you gave me all that talk about not wanting to share me with anyone else, and not thinking of women that way… And now out of nowhere comes this ex-BFF of yours that I’ve never heard of before, and you two not only fucked—”

  “—we didn’t fuck—”

“Excuse me, not only did you two have a fucking relationship in college, but you still have the hots for her even though you’re supposed to be in love with me? And to top it off, you want me to get into bed with the two of you? Are you insane?”

Todd was pacing the little space of the alcove, and could barely look Sally’s way. Her approach had clearly gone wrong. On the one hand, she could see his point. Sally couldn’t be sure she wouldn’t react exactly the same way if the situation was reversed. But that was different, because she never asked to be with two men, and Todd had been very clear on his feelings concerning threesomes. Still, she needed to calm him and bring him to her side somehow.

“Todd, I get you. I really do. And I do love you, I am in love with you. If you really don’t want this, then I’ll back off, and I’ll go back there and tell her I never want to hear from her again. But please, just… just hear me out, okay?”

He didn’t answer, but the pacing stopped and he sat down in front of her again. Sally took it as a positive sign.

“Look, me and Lori… Well, we’ve always had this thing, this… heat between us that I just can’t control. I never could.”

“Oh, joy. That makes me so happy.”

“Will you stop being a dick and listen to me?” Sally didn’t want to lose her temper, because she knew that deep down, she was the one in the wrong. But Todd wasn’t making it easy. “I never really lied to you, Todd. Not even about this. Aside from Lori, I’ve never been truly attracted to women, and Lori… Well, Lori just isn’t easy to explain.”
