Sebastian pulled Grant back to him and kissed him again. “I want you,” he whispered.
Grant’s brows rose in surprise, while Elyse smiled widely. “Finally,” she whispered. Sebastian chuckled as she took both of their hands, leading them to the bedroom they’d moved into two weeks earlier and made their own.
Sebastian picked her up as they entered the room and playfully tossed her onto the bed. She giggled and dragged her shirt over her head.
Grant was already halfway to naked. No matter how many times they were together like this, the excitement, the need to come together, never dimmed. Sebastian understood this was the honeymoon phase, but damn if he didn’t pray it was always like this.
He began to shed his own clothing. Once they were naked, he crawled across the mattress to Elyse. Grabbing her ankles, he tugged on them until she was flat on her back in the middle of the bed. Then he parted her legs and bent down for a taste.
Sebastian loved the subtle ways Elyse told him when he hit just the right spot or did something that she loved. He enjoyed the not-so-subtle ways as well, like now, when her fingers were clenched so tightly in his hair he was surprised he wasn’t bald.
He stroked along her slit, stopping to tease her clit with the tip of his tongue. She had adorable sex sounds, high-pitched squeaks and little sighs.
When he dipped his tongue inside her, he was treated to a quiet moan, her hips lifting to meet his mouth. He thrust in several times, determined to make her come at least once this way before they advanced to the next stage. It had become a bit of a game between him and Grant, trying to see who could drive her out of her mind the most.
However, before he could produce the desired results, his lovers changed the rules of the game. Elyse scooted away from him, lifting herself until her back rested against the headboard.
Sebastian started to follow her, but was caught off guard when Grant grabbed his ankles and held him in place.
Sebastian glanced over his shoulder. “Grant…”
In the living room, he’d told Grant that he wanted him. And he’d meant it.
Grant wasn’t about to reject that offer. He stood at the foot of the bed, a tube of lubrication in his hand. “Change your mind?”
Sebastian considered the question for only a second before shaking his head. “No. I haven’t.”
Elyse placed a soft kiss on his cheek, drawing his attention back to her. “Kiss me, Seb.”
Sebastian suddenly understood what it meant to be on the receiving end. He and Grant had developed some sort of unspoken system, working together to drive Elyse out of her mind. Now the tables had been turned.
He remained on the bed, kneeling over Elyse. He cupped her cheek and kissed her as he held himself in position with just one hand and his knees on the mattress. He felt the bed dip as Grant joined them, claiming a spot near Sebastian’s feet.
Grant pressed against his knees, encouraging Sebastian to open his legs. While he put Sebastian into the position he desired, Elyse distracted him with some of the hottest kisses he’d ever indulged in. Her tongue tangled with his and her teeth nipped at his lower lip. She tasted so damn sweet.
Sebastian jerked when he felt the first cool drops of lube hit his ass. He’d never—not once in his life—imagined being with another man. Then Grant had crawled into bed with him and Elyse, and Sebastian had been able to think of little else.
Grant worked the lubrication in with one of his thumbs. Sebastian grunted, trying to decide if he liked the sensation. Then he made the mistake of imagining Grant replacing his thumb with his cock. His reticence must have shown.
Elyse placed soft kisses on his cheek before whispering in his ear, “You’ll love it. Promise.”
He decided she wasn’t going to merely be an observer. “Lean back.” She did as he requested as he moved down a few inches. The new position put him closer to her breasts. Parting his lips, he sucked one of her nipples into his mouth at the same time Grant replaced his thumb with two fingers.
Elyse and Sebastian groaned in unison. From that point on, Sebastian marked time not by minutes, but by sensation and sound, taste and touch.
He continued to play with Elyse’s breasts as Grant slowly prepared his body. When two fingers became three, the slight twinge of pain he’d felt at the beginning faded away, replaced by the burning need for more stimulation, more strength, more friction.
Sebastian released Elyse’s nipple with a soft pop when he felt the head of Grant’s dick prodding for entrance.
He held his breath, but Elyse shook her head. “No. You need to breathe. Slow and easy.”
Her quiet reassurances worked their way through his system, allowing him to relax as Grant pressed deeper.
When Grant was seated to the hilt, Sebastian rested his head against Elyse’s breasts for a moment, trying to soak in everything that was happening. Grant’s hands held tightly to Sebastian’s hips, but he didn’t use that grip to produce or hinder movement. He simply held on.
Sebastian was the first to stir. As the pain of the initial penetration faded, he was overcome by need. He pulled away from Grant, not stopping until only the head of his lover’s cock remained. Then he slammed back fast. Hard.
This time it was Grant who grunted, who groaned. “Seb…”
He knew Grant was looking for reassurance. Confirmation. “So fucking good.”
And then it was game on.
The room was silent except for the sound of their flesh slapping together and their demands for more. Grant’s fingers tightened, found purchase in Sebastian’s hips. Sebastian used his arms to propel himself faster. Elyse still lay beneath him, her hands stroking his arms and chest.
“I can’t…it’s too…” Grant fell first.
If Sebastian hadn’t been so shocked by the feeling of his friend’s come filling him, he would have gloated a bit. It was rare for him not to be last man standing. Sebastian and Elyse had less self-control when it came to holding off, to denying themselves the ecstasy at the end of the road.
Sebastian felt a strange sense of emptiness when Grant withdrew. For the first time in his life, he began to understand how Elyse must feel when they left her body. To go from full to empty was disconcerting. Though his muscles ached, he wanted Grant back. He wanted more.
Elyse cupped his face, capturing his gaze. “It’s incredible, isn’t it?”
His cock had been rock hard throughout. Despite having just had one of the most incredible sexual experiences of his life, he still wanted more. They’d be lucky if they got out of this bed anytime in the next century. Sebastian had never felt so overwhelmed, hot, hungry…horny.
Grant had lit a fire inside that threatened to rage a damn long time. So much for his straight lifestyle. He’d never put himself back in that confining box again.
He pulled Elyse more fully beneath him and thrust inside with more force than he’d ever used.
Elyse’s head flew against the pillow and her back arched. “Oh my God. Yes. Fuck me, Seb. Please.”
His hips moved almost of their own volition, pounding as deep and as hard as he dared. Elyse’s nails scored his shoulders as she screamed for more.
Through it all, Sebastian was aware of Grant’s gaze on them, watching. The knowledge that his lover was there drove Sebastian even crazier.
“Take her, Seb. Let her feel how much you want her. Need her.”
He wasn’t sure who tipped over first. It seemed as if they both came at the exact same second. One minute he was thrusting as she clawed at him, begging for more. The next, they were motionless, their mouths open but silent.
Sebastian fell to her side. Mere seconds had passed before he heard Elyse’s gentle breathing. He lifted his head and grinned.
“She can fall asleep faster than anyone I’ve ever met,” Grant murmured.
Sebastian chuckled. “Yeah. Although I’m not going to be too far behind her.”
“Amen,” Grant said.
Their eyes met and held for a few moments.
/>
“Okay?” Grant asked.
Sebastian nodded. “I’m okay. I’m better than okay. I…” It was on the tip of Sebastian’s tongue to tell Grant he loved him. In three short weeks, the guy had become a best friend, brother and lover all rolled into one. But Sebastian sucked when it came to talking about his emotions, and given that so much was still up in the air, he wasn’t sure this was the right time anyway.
Grant gave him a crooked grin that said it all. “Ditto, Seb.”
Sebastian smiled and fell back to the bed, sleeping claiming him before he could even consider what had just passed between them.
Chapter Fourteen
Sebastian awoke several hours later, surprised to find only Grant in the bed. He lay there for several minutes, expecting Elyse to return. A glance at the clock told him it was only seven p.m. They had a knack for mixing up their days and nights. At some point, they were going to have to come up with a sex schedule. Sebastian chuckled at the thought—then he heard soft voices coming from the living room.
Who the hell was here?
He sat up and tugged on the pair of jeans he’d shed earlier. His movements woke Grant.
“Where’s Elyse?” he asked groggily.
Sebastian shrugged. “That’s what I’m going to find out. I think someone else is with her.”
Grant sat up and began to dress as well. They hadn’t had a single visitor since they’d moved into Elyse’s condo. Ever since he’d come clean about the secret sect, and Grant’s ancestors’ involvement in it, they had dedicated themselves to the investigation. Given the break-ins at Grant’s place and the hotel, none of them had wanted to venture too far from home.
Sebastian entered the living room after Grant, surprised to find Juliette sitting on the couch next to Elyse.
Juliette’s narrowed eyes zoomed in on Sebastian. “Apparently my secret identity isn’t very secret.”
Sebastian took in the room. The coffee table was piled up with all the information he, Grant and Elyse had attempted to gather on Jessica Breton and the map. The incriminating evidence revealed the secret the three of them had been harboring about Grant and Elyse’s participation in the investigation.
“I didn’t…” Elyse bit her lip. “You guys were dead to the world up there. I figured you’d be hungry when you woke up, so I thought I’d order a pizza. When the doorbell rang, I thought…”
Sebastian really had been out of it. He hadn’t heard the doorbell.
Juliette was white with rage. “I thought I’d stop by and pay you a visit, Bastian. See how my old friend was doing.”
Oh yeah. She was pissed.
“You told them?” If he thought Juliette had been hurt by his years of deception as a CIA asset, he’d been wrong. He hadn’t seen true pain until now.
“No, Jules. I didn’t.”
“We guessed,” Grant said, clearly hoping to diffuse a very dangerous situation. “It was obvious Sebastian was close to the new Grand Master given the way he chased you out of the altar room and returned to tell the tale, the way he delivered the map to you.”
“You knew…” Juliette began.
Sebastian shrugged, the action stiff given the tension in his shoulders. “They followed me to the library the morning I brought you Grant’s section of it. And Elyse recognized your voice during the binding ceremony.”
“I’ll have to work on disguising it better.”
“This is my fault.” Elyse looked devastated. “She saw all the files. I was trying to find a way to explain. I—”
Juliette crossed her arms. “She apologized to me. Said the three of you would never betray the Grand Master, never let me down.”
Sebastian walked over to Elyse to put a comforting arm around her. She was trembling. “It’s okay, Elle. We shouldn’t have left all this stuff lying around.”
“No,” Juliette said. “You shouldn’t have.”
Sebastian understood Juliette’s anger and while she was entitled to it, he couldn’t hold back a bit of his own. “That’s the pot calling the kettle black, isn’t it, Jules. There are more than a few legacy members who have keys to our shared house. You weren’t being very discreet either.”
Her eyes narrowed angrily, then slowly, she released a long, tired breath. “No. I haven’t been.”
Juliette had been running full steam ahead since assuming the position of Grand Master. The stress of uncovering the secret sect and attempting to discover the lost legacies was clearly starting to take its toll.
“What are you doing here?” Sebastian asked. All his meetings with Juliette had been held at the headquarters or the legacy house. She’d never visited him at Elyse’s condo.
Juliette didn’t reply at first. “I hadn’t heard from you in a few days. And I…” She clearly had news to share, but she wasn’t comfortable talking in front of Elyse and Grant. Sebastian didn’t offer her an out. They were a part of this. They had been for weeks. He was just as exhausted as Juliette. Sebastian figured it was time they widened the circle of trust. The tasks she’d inherited as Grand Master were too big for one woman. They were even too big for just one trinity.
When it was clear he wasn’t going to dismiss his lovers, she huffed out a heated, “fine.” She gestured for them to all take a seat. Sebastian claimed the chair closest to Juliette, while Grant sat down on the love seat with Elyse.
“Before you walked in, Elyse said you’d discovered something. Something about Katherine Wythe.”
Sebastian took a few minutes to fill Juliette in on the conversation Elyse had shared with Katherine earlier in the day.
“You said something about a plan,” Juliette said to Elyse.
Sebastian didn’t have time to react before Grant was up and out of his chair. “Elle is not taking part in this investigation in any way.”
Juliette laughed. “Really. Because it looks to me like she’s been in it up to her neck for weeks.”
Elyse’s eyes narrowed as she stared down Grant. Sebastian had always been the one whose temper rose quicker than the temperature in New Orleans in August, but Grant had him outmatched by a mile.
If Grant felt the heat of Elyse’s glare, the fool ignored it. “Elle’s not taking part in anything that will put her in danger.”
“Elle is also sitting in this room,” Elyse said through gritted teeth. She stood tall though Sebastian could see the action didn’t give her as much power as she might have hoped. Grant looked like a mountain next to her. The height disadvantage didn’t stop her from putting up a fight. Their woman was scrappy. “And she’s not a child. Dammit, Grant. You know how much this caveman attitude of yours pisses me off.”
Grant put his hands on his hips, Elyse’s anger not quite getting through to the idiot, who seemed determined to dig himself into a deeper hole. “I haven’t even started to go caveman yet. You keep insisting on putting yourself in danger and I’ll drag you to the bedroom, tie you to the bed and keep you there forever.”
Elyse was completely unfazed by his heated words. “That threat is getting old. And I dare you to try.”
Grant looked as if he was more than willing to do that, so Sebastian stepped between them. “Can we just focus on the issue at hand? We suspect Katherine Wythe is a member of the purists. I’m sure Juliette has plenty of members in the organization she could send over to feel out Mrs. Wythe about her possible involvement.”
Juliette gave him a bemused look and shook her head. “I just took over as Grand Master, Seb. It’s not like I have an arsenal of trusted members up my sleeve.”
“What about your brother?” Sebastian asked. “Harrison could talk to her. After all, he was the one who asked Mrs. Wythe to mentor Elyse in the first place.”
“You’re joking, right? I suspect that request was made in writing, not person. No one is supposed to know who the Grand Master is. Remember?”
Juliette was still super-pissed that Grant and Elyse had discovered her secret identity.
“I know. Which is why Harrison could talk to her
.”
Juliette rolled her eyes. “I’m pretty sure Katherine is fully aware of the fact Harrison was the former Grand Master. There’s no way in hell she would talk to him.”
Sebastian paced as he tried to think of the members he knew, but he couldn’t come up with any suitable suggestions. Finally, he stopped and faced Juliette.
She gave him a sad smile. “Ready to admit that Elle is our best—and only—chance at uncovering the truth?”
“Katherine is ninety years old, Seb,” Elyse added. “It’s not like I’d be in physical danger.”
Grant scoffed. “Nice try. But I’ve already come face-to-face with the thugs and their guns.”
Elyse threw Grant’s words back in his face. “You said you didn’t believe they’d use them. That they were only searching for the map.”
“They still bashed me in the head pretty good.”
“I’ll be careful. Besides, I’m pretty sure her mentorship has been all about trying to recruit me for membership into her little sect. Why would she hurt me if she thinks I want to join them?”
“And why would she suddenly think you’d be interested in joining them? Won’t that tip her off?” Grant asked.
“I don’t think it’s Elyse’s ideals that matter to Mrs. Wythe, so much as what Elyse would bring to the table financially,” Juliette replied.
Sebastian realized Juliette had discovered something new. “What are you talking about?”
“It’s why I came to see you. Harrison stopped by yesterday. I believe I told you I have him working to decipher our father’s journals.”
Sebastian nodded.
“I called him a couple of weeks ago and told him to be on the lookout for anything in them that referred to Richard and Jessica Breton or a map. He found a passage that caught his eye.”
Sebastian sank back down into the chair. Elyse and Grant followed suit.
