Not So Casual: Part 3 Page 3

by Harper, Kelly

He gave her a cautious look, then nodded.

  “For you.”

Bre wasn’t sure how she felt about it, but she understood. She knew how the current situation could get in his head. Hell, it was getting in her head, too. He wasn’t the only one dealing with conflicting feelings. She’d been doubting their casual fling since the first time they hooked up.

Maybe that meant it was time to actually do something about it…

“What if we didn’t have just a weekend fling?” Bre suggested.

  Collin’s face resolved.

  “What do you mean?”

She wasn’t really sure where she was going with this but, now that she was talking, she didn’t want to lose the momentum.

“What if we keep seeing each other when we get back home?”

  “Like we’re dating?”

  Bre shifted, restless.

“I mean, we don’t have to start labeling it…”

  Collin, again, looked cautious.

“While we’re not labeling it, are you going to be hooking up with other men?”

Bre tilted her head to the side and bit her lip, as though giving it serious consideration. She meant it to be playful and hoped he didn’t take her hesitation as something negative.

“You’re lucky you’re so good in the sack,” she said, finally.

Collin let out a growl, pushing her back on the bed. Clearly, he’d taken it in the right way.

“There’s plenty more where that came from.”

  “Show me.”

  Chapter Six

Collin crawled on top of her and pressed a deep kiss into her mouth. Her lips parted just enough for his tongue to find hers. Bre’s heart pounded harder and harder as the weight of him press her into the bed.

His sensual kiss engaged a primal part of her. When he embraced her that way it was impossible not to think about having him inside of her. She’d never once thought she’d be able to have this kind of experience in her life. She never thought it was possible to completely lose control.

His lips fell to her neck and worked their way along her shoulder until they reached the neckline. His tongue traced the line down to her collarbone. He pressed wet kisses down one collarbone and up the other. Bre’s nipples got so hard she could feel them pressing against the soft dress.

Collin’s strong arms supported his athletic frame as he navigated his way down her body. His lips and tongue glided over the soft dress, making Bre squirm in anticipation. She needed to have him. Soon. Now.

Her back arched when he reached her tummy, allowing his hands to slide under her. He pressed into her back, bending her pelvis and thrusting her chest forward. He put her body on display, and Bre loved it.

Was she really taking this back to New York City with her? Were they really going to have this kind of hot sex after they left the mansion?

It almost sounded too good to be true. It tightened her chest. She’d never done this kind of thing before. She’d always kept to herself, never letting anyone get close. Collin Hayes was knocking down all of her defenses like they weren’t even there. She’d never let a man have that kind of control.

  Not since him…

Collin’s lips pressed into Bre’s panties, forcing her back to the real world. Ecstasy expanded throughout her body, driving out her fears and worries. They were distant compared to what was happening right there and then.

Bre spread her legs even wider as she forced her crotch into his face. She grabbed the back of his soft, blond hair and pulled his head in circles against her. Somehow, in the haze, Collin’s lips slipped past her panties; they immediately locked onto her clit, like they had some kind of magnetic attraction to one another. It wasn’t long before the bud of an orgasm tightened in her depths.

She moaned, loudly, still trying to drive away distracting thoughts of what the future might bring. None of that mattered. The only important thing right then was Collin’s heavenly tongue making her come.

He must have sensed that he was losing her because he redoubled his efforts. His head wagged back and forth more fiercely as his hands slid their way up her body until they found her breasts. He pinched both of her sensitive nipples at the same time, sending another wave of pleasure through her, ripping her open.

That was all it took to put her over the edge.

An orgasm erupted from within her like a destructive torrent. She felt like a bottle of soda that had been shaken too many times. The pressure exploded out of her, violently, making her shriek in delight. Her body convulsed for a long time.

“God, it’s hot when you come,” Collin said, after she stopped writhing.

He was grinning from ear to ear and she could see her juices smeared across his chin.

“You’re the one doing it to me,” she said.

Her smile better not have been as dopey as his. She made a point to keep it under control or it might come back to bite her in the ass in the future.

“Well, I hope there’s more where that came from,” he said. “I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of seeing it.”

She sat up and pushed him back on the bed with a devious smile on her face.

“Slow down, Wall Street.” She licked her lips while she traced her hand down his chest; it came to a rest on the huge bulge in his lap. “You’re going to have to learn how to take turns. I have some needs of my own.”

  He cocked an eyebrow.

“And what kinds of needs are those?”

“The kind that involve you coming in my mouth.”

His cock lurched so hard there was a noticeable shift in his pants.

“I think I could get used to this whole taking turns thing,” he said.

Bre was too busy ripping his pants open to respond. The time for talking was over.

  Chapter Seven

Another round of intense sex happened before Bre finally collapsed next to Collin. Both their bodies were covered in thin layers of sweat and their breaths came in deep gasps. She wasn’t sure how long they’d been going at it—everything blurred together.

Collin wrapped his arms around her and held her close. She could still hear his heart pounding in his chest. Knowing she was responsible for that felt incredible. Knowing she could do that to him felt nicer than she’d ever wanted to let herself feel.

And that thought brought up all new worries…

Was taking this back to the city really a good idea? They had such a good thing going; how could they ever hope to continue it? She was probably just setting herself up for more disappointment. Some things were just too good to be true, and this felt like one of them.

Bre knew she was working herself into full freak-out mode, but there wasn’t anything she could do about it. This was just how she acted when things started getting serious with a guy. It had been a long time since she’d ever felt comfortable with the idea of allowing a man into her life.

“I have an idea,” Collin said, interrupting her line of thinking.

“What’s that?” she asked, taking the opportunity to snuggle a little closer to him. He smelled good.

  “Let’s get out of here.”

“Is there some place in this mansion you forgot to fuck me?”

“I don’t mean that… Let’s go back to the City.”

Bre sat up and looked at him. He had to be joking, but his face was serious.

“What about everyone else? Aren’t we all flying back together on Logan’s ridiculous helicopter?”

  Collin waved a hand.

“I’m not worried about them. I don’t know about you, but I get restless when I’m cooped up all weekend. It would be nice to get out and get some fresh air.”

She couldn’t argue with that. Logan’s helicopter was extravagant, but she’d been there and done that and didn’t really feel like being stuck with all of them for the trip back.

“But how would we get back? That’s one hell of a taxi ride…”

“We can order car service. Logan does it all the time; it’s a regular business expens
e.”

Bre didn’t want to think about how extravagant it was to have car service as a regular thing. She’d never get used to having that kind of money to throw around. It would cost at least a few hundred dollars, if not more, and Collin talked about it like it was nothing. She didn’t even want to start thinking about how much it cost to fuel the helicopter for the roundtrip.

  However, when in Rome…

“Okay, let’s do it!” she agreed.

  Collin’s face lit up.

  “Seriously?”

“Do you really want to give me the chance to change my mind?”

  He shook his head.

“Go get your stuff. I need to speak with Logan really quick to square everything away, but then we can get out of here.”

She gave him a playful nudge.

“Gotta go be a good lapdog, huh? Don’t want to forget your place.”

“You know he’s my boss, right? Besides, it would be rude to just disappear without saying anything. I’m sure you want to tell Aimee we’re leaving…”

Bre got a sinking feeling in her gut. Where was her head at? She’d totally forgotten about Aimee. Hadn’t she just finished given Aimee shit for threatening to bail on her?

“I’ll let her know while you’re talking to Logan.”

She’d have to figure out what to say. Aimee was not going to like this.

  Chapter Eight

Bre packed her things and changed into a simple tee and her jean shorts faster than expected, leaving her with time to kill while she waited on Collin. She hung the elegant, green dress on its rack and returned the coral necklace to its jewelry box. It wasn’t clear if they were meant as gifts or provided as rentals and she didn’t to face the embarrassing situation of a billionaire tracking her down to return his stuff; not that he couldn’t afford it.

She’d hoped it would take longer to get ready to leave, but she had no such luck. She made her way to Aimee’s room and knocked on the door a few times before poking her head inside. The room was empty and Aimee was nowhere to be seen. For a moment, Bre considered sticking around for a few minutes to see if she showed, but then thought better of it.

She went back to her room, feeling pleased with herself. At least she could say she’d tried…

She immediately felt bad. Ugh. She couldn’t just ditch Aimee. She’d been pissed earlier when she thought she’d been ditched and she couldn’t turn around and do the same thing. She just didn’t want to see the look on Aimee’s face when she found out Bre and Collin were going back to the City together. Aimee would make a huge deal out of it and Bre just wasn’t in the mood for any extra pressure.

Collin showed up a few minutes later with his luggage in tow. He’d also changed, and was wearing a pair of khaki shorts and a pink polo. Surprisingly, the color looked really good on him; but then, everything looked really good on him.

  “Pink shirt?” she teased.

His forehead tightened as he glanced between her and his shirt.

  “It’s peach.”

“If that’s peach then I’m from Jersey.”

Collin scowled at her, but didn’t take the bait.

  “You all set?” he asked.

Bre finished scribbling a note on a piece of paper before nodding.

“Just need to leave this for Aimee and we can head out.”

He gave her a suspicious look.

  “Couldn’t track her down?”

“I’m sure she’s off having fun with some guy whose name starts with an L. It would be rude for me to interrupt.”

  “Mhm,” he grunted, judgmentally.

She scowled at him before leaving him standing there. Who did he think he was? She didn’t have to justify herself. She could leave her friend a note if she wanted.

Bre marched to Aimee’s room and stooped to slide the note under her door when a voice from down the hall made the hair on the back of her neck stand on end.

“Bre, what are you doing here?”

Bre stood to find Aimee coming down the opposite hall, straight for them. Great. Figured she would show up just as they were trying to sneak away. This was all Collin’s fault, somehow.

“I didn’t know when you were going to be back,” Bre said.

She flashed a nervous smile before holding the note out to Aimee.

  “You’re leaving?”

“We wanted to spend some time alone in the city. You know, before the week starts…”

“And you weren’t going to tell me?”

Bre waved the piece of paper in her face. Was she blind?

“I was leaving you a note.”

“A note? Why didn’t you just text me?”

God! Didn’t she know how to keep it cool?

Bre grabbed Aimee by the arm and pulled her a few feet away so they could talk privately.

“What’s going on?” Aimee asked. “Is everything okay?”

“It’s nothing,” Bre said, quietly. “It’s just… we were hoping to get some quiet time for ourselves.”

“And you didn’t want me to know about it?”

“I didn’t want you to talk me out of it.”

  “Why would I do that?”

Ugh. Was she really going to make her say it? Bre was in way over her head and she had no idea what she was doing… is that what Aimee wanted to hear?

  Fine.

“It’s just… I don’t know. I’m new at this.” Bre gave her an uncertain look. “I don’t know how someone is supposed act, you know, when they like someone.”

  “Like?”

Bre’s face erupted into the angriest scowl she’d ever given anyone. Aimee knew what she meant; did she really think this was the right time to play dumb?

“You don’t have to make a big deal of it!” She glanced at Collin, ensuring he was keeping his distance. He was. At least one of them had some sense! “I’m just trying to take it slow and figure things out.”

The smile Aimee gave her was far too big.

“I’m happy for you. I’m sure things are going to be great.”

  Bre rolled her eyes.

“Don’t get your hopes up just yet… And don’t you dare tell Stephanie.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it.” Aimee pulled two fingers across her lips, promising to keep her lips sealed.

Bre held the serious look for a few extra moments to make sure Aimee knew she meant business. Annoyingly, the smile on Aimee’s face didn’t waver. Well, all things considered, this was as good a reaction as she could hope for. She’d have to take it.

Bre finally dropped it and asked how things had gone with Logan since dinner. As it turned out, it was a good thing they had run into each other: Aimee had somehow managed to create even more drama for herself since dinner. She was now convinced she’d uncovered some big scandal. Collin jumped in and was able to shed some light on it, but mostly he was all vague and annoying because he still didn’t want to get involved. Bre couldn’t really blame him, though she put up a good front for Aimee’s sake. Not that it really mattered, anyway. Aimee would just find some way to make things worse.

Finally, it was time for Bre and Collin to get out of there.

“Don’t hesitate to call me if you need anything,” Bre said. A part of her was secretly hoping that Aimee would give her a reason to stick around.

  “Thanks. I won’t.”

They hugged and kissed each other before Aimee took off in pursuit of more drama. Now it was just Bre and Collin and the rest of the afternoon together. She was starting to have doubts.

“Ready to get going?” Collin asked.

  “You called the car service?”

“I did even better than that…”

A devious grin spread across his face. He pulled a pair of keys from his pocket and jingled them in front of her. Bre’s heart leapt into her throat when she saw them.

“You better not be fucking with me.”

  He shook his head.

“It’s all ours to take back to the city.”

  “Shu
t. The. Fuck. Up.”

She slugged Collin on the arm and held out her hand, demanding he turn over the keys. He winced and gave them to her.

“You know how to drive stick right?”

  She rolled her eyes.

“Please… You’re in for the ride of your life.”

  Chapter Nine

The ’69 Chevelle COPO roared to life as soon as Bre turned the key. She revved the throttle a few times, basking in the guttural sound of its fully-rebuilt engine. She beamed an excited smile at Collin as it settled into a throaty purr.

Never in a million years did she think she would be behind the wheel of one of these things. It had always been a pipe dream, not something that would actually come true. This car was basically priceless, and she was about to drive it across Long Island.

“You sure you know what you’re doing?” Collin asked, not for the first time.

“You’re welcome to get your own car service if you don’t trust me.”

  He let out a laugh.

“Logan would have my ass… He must be in a really good mood; I was surprised he agreed to let us take it!”

“I’m sure Aimee is keeping his mind focused on other things.”

Bre let the engine idle for a minute or two to warm the oil, and then she was ready to see what this beautiful machine could do. She dropped it into gear and gunned it out of the garage, down a long, paved driveway, through a pair of huge gates that opened before she got to them, and out onto the open road. She had no idea what the speed limit was, and she didn’t care. She left the window down and wished her hair was longer so it could blow around. This drive was going to be fun!

“You weren’t kidding. I take back ever doubting that you could handle this thing!”

Bre had almost forgotten that Collin was sitting next to her. She shot him a sideways look.

“You should know better than to doubt my ability to handle things…”

  He held his hands up.

“Point taken. It won’t happen again.”

“Good. Or you might not be getting handled, again.”

Collin shot her a knowing smile.
