by Violet McCloud

I hoped she returned. She was the most darling little girl I’d ever seen.

  Eric would’ve thought so too.

I packed up my cart and went home, pleased as punch about selling out.

I went to bed that night secure in the fact that Richard’s killer was behind bars. Even Tippy wasn’t so fussy as she usually was.

  Life was good.

Thank you for reading A Pie in the Hand, Book 1 of the Pacific Cliffs Cozy Mysteries. Next in series is Fried Pie Fiasco, coming May 1

  Coming Soon! Fried Pie Fiasco

Summertime is fun time in Pacific Cliffs…until someone dies.

The beach walk is humming. Vendors of all kinds providing everything from food and drink to souvenirs and psychic readings to the summer tourists. Entertainers stroll along as well, and the atmosphere is everything a summer visitor could dream of.

Chloe Cotton’s hand pies, sweet and savory both, are selling as fast as she can make them, and her ginger peach pineapple has even been written up in the newspaper as “the flavor of summer 2021.” Her yelp reviews are great, too!

  What could possibly go wrong?
