"Premier, it is good to see you again," said Oszul to his superior as he entered the palace throne room. Kezon was there too, but no one else apart from the guards at the entrance to the large adorned, luxurious room.
"I am glad you arrived back safely. I had complete faith in you. I must congratulate you on being fated to such an impressive woman as well. You will enjoy a long time together, which is saying something for our species."
"Thank you, Sir," replied Oszul. After running through a debriefing of the mission that was just completed, they turned their attention to current affairs.
"Kezon here will be heading a new mission," the Premier began to say. "It is the last leg of your recently successful mission. He will be putting a stop to the havoc these escaped prisoners are wreaking on the Vada System. Kezon, you are to travel to Earth to pick up an AI Biologist Specialist. They will help implant a virus in these cyborgs our enemy are creating on Arthexei. Rather than try to stop them with force—we will stamp them out with cunning. This virus will stop the implanted AIs in their tracks."
"And what about the poor souls who have been given AIs against their wills?" asked Kezon. He had always seemed like a compassionate warrior to Oszul.
"This is a way to stop the AIs without harming the hosts," said the Premier. "And thus, we can render the threat to King Thras, all of Jatra, and the very Vada System itself—harmless."
