“It wouldn’t be the first time,” Cassie exclaims.
“I’m glad you’re finally seeing it for what it is,” Jenna allows me to help her into my car that is parked nearby.
Touching her is bringing back old memories. I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving her, but I can’t keep a love that doesn’t belong to me. I understand she’s made her decision and I have to accept it and move forward.
BENNETT
It’s a gorgeous sunny and warm day in Nashville. Dusk is upon us and I’m still waiting on my beautiful wife-to-be. Nerves have hit.
“What if she ran? What if she changed her mind?”
“She’s here,” Braxton approaches me.
“Fuck, finally,” I sigh.
“Don’t get too excited,” Braxton’s face is sheer worry.
“What do you mean?”
“Noah is with her,” he takes a deep breath and my mind starts reeling.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me,” I punch the tree nearest me.
“Calm down, man, don’t already think the worst.”
“Like you didn’t,” I point out the obvious mentioning the look on his face.
Slowly easing towards her prepared for the most unexpected, she surprises me by running straight into my arms. She’s wearing her wedding dress looking absolutely stunning, dropping a big jacket she was wrapped in.
“Shit,” Cassie interrupts our intimate moment, “you’re not supposed to see the bride,” she sighs.
“It doesn’t even matter anymore,” Jenna cries into my chest.
“What happened?” I pull her back looking into her eyes.
“There was an accident,” Noah answers for her instead.
“I didn’t ask you,” I huff through gritted teeth.
“Don’t,” Jenna looks up at me, “there was an accident, Noah found us and helped us get here.”
“Are you okay? What did you do?” I yell at Noah.
“He didn’t do anything babe,” she’s still in my arms, “Some Grandma ran into us, it wasn’t that bad, shocked us more than anything.”
I pull her back looking her up and down checking every inch of her body, “You’re so gorgeous,” I mumble as I admire her in the beautiful white dress.
“Can we get married now?” she stutters.
Watching Noah walk away I can’t help myself, “Hey, Noah, thanks man,” I utter as I see him turn around nodding his head.
Part of me feels remorse and before even thinking about asking Jenna I ask him to stay for the wedding. I know it might be a sting to his heart watching it, but I had to make sure he was offered the chance to stay. Jenna looked at me with confusion never stopping my offer. “I’m serious, man,” I remind him.
“I’m not really dressed for the occasion?” he points out his work uniform.
“That doesn’t really matter, there’s not a specific dress code,” I lie.
“You sure?” Jenna whispers as I just nod towards her.
“What are we waiting on, let’s get you two married,” Noah walks back towards the barn joining us, “I just have to make one quick phone call to let work know I’ll be late.”
JENNA
“I do!”
“I do!”
Once upon a time there was a girl who chose the wrong boy. She thought she loved this boy, but boy was she wrong. She didn’t know what love was until she met the boy’s best friend. He was the one she was destined to be with. He’s the one to marry. And today, that girl did.
I’m in love, so much in love with this man. He’s the better part of me. He’s my forever. We fit perfectly. We connect on a level far deeper than I could’ve ever imagined. We match each other. We love endlessly.
My beautiful bride,
You are the most exceptional woman I have ever met. You’re classy. You’re wise. You’re elegant. You’re sexy. You’re sensual. You are stunning. YOU ARE MINE.
I am one lucky man to be able to call you my wife. My significant other. My partner and soulmate.
I get the honor of waking up next to you every morning. I get the honor of kissing you good night before we close our eyes to rest for the night.
You make me the man I always wanted to be. I will cherish you. I will love you. I will take care of you. I will be there for you when you’re feeling sad. I will jump for joy with you when you’re happy. I will share every moment with you.
I will love you for always.
Your husband,
Bennett
Tears stream down my face as I read the note he wistfully slid into my hand while devouring our wedding cake at the reception. Surprising me with his words and thoughtfulness. I knew loving him for the rest of my life would be easy, but I didn’t think it would be this easy. All I could think about after reading the note was making it through the reception to finally be alone with him.
All the partying.
All the traditional wedding things seemed to have taken forever.
I was thankful for such a beautiful ceremony and reception, but what I wanted most was to be in his arms and enjoy my first night of being his wife.
WEDDING NIGHT
The ceremony was perfect, a dream day made real for me. My husband Bennett carried me into the honeymoon suite and I felt a strong pang of sexual excitement. I could feel my skin flush and nipples harden. It’s the greatest arousal I had ever felt with Bennett.
“It must be the context,” I mumble to myself.
A girl only gets married for the first time once, and this being the only time.
Bennett sat me down with a grunt and smile. I smiled back, moved over to the bed detaching my train. Bennett’s eyes fully adjusted to watching me. Staring back, I noticed his pants tenting. There’s a hunger in his eyes.
With a fixed and determined look I stare back into his eyes. My fingers play and roll my ring he had placed on my finger making me his. I feel his fingers slowly caressing my fingers and across the ring as he whispered the words into my ear, “Yes, you are mine,” as if he could hear the thoughts on my mind.
As we sat at the edge of the bed, I could feel the arousal mount. I ran my naked hands over my bodice and began to sway to and fro. I gyrated to an imaginary beat as my hands fumbled with the buttons behind my back.
“Let me help you,” he mumbled as I felt his hand unbutton the bodice. Revealing more and more of my breasts as the dress loosens, I see the desire in his eyes.
“You are the most beautiful bride,” his lips gently touch mine.
Bennett shifted impatiently in his seat. I noticed he had to adjust his boner, and I felt my panties getting wet at the thought of what my body was doing to him. Revealing my white lace bra. A drop of moisture slowly trickles down the inside of my left thigh.
“Could you undo my bra, please?” I politely ask as he nods.
“With pleasure,” he winks.
His fingers on my shoulder felt like tiny lightning strikes. The bra fell loose and Bennett started to hold up both my breasts with his hands. Kissing his way down my spine, leaving me shuddering with each hot breath he let out. He massaged each of my buttocks for a few seconds before unceremoniously ripping my panties down my legs. Squealing at the sudden motion made me lean into him for balance. I was hot and bothered and starting to get dizzy. I pushed away from him and threw myself prostate on the bed. The cool sheets felt ice cold against my skin, “I’m burning with desire,” I whisper as I watch Bennett undress.
Bennett, my handsome husband, I study him. I study his every move. His chiseled chin. His scruff. His beautiful brown eyes. After he stripped all his clothing, including his socks, he knelt beside me on the bed. His hands started to roam all over my body, like he was getting to know me all over again. His touch soon turned from exploring to deft. He kissed the sides of my rib cage, caressed my neck, and tickled my elbows.
As Bennett’s hand slid down the back of my thigh, I knew I would go wild with lust if he touched the back of my knee. Just as his fingers got there, they curled up and mere
ly tugged the fabric of my stocking tops, passing with the lightest of touches to the sensitive skin on the back of my knee. He has me growling in unladylike frustration. Bennett smiled and turned his attention to my breasts. He gave them a couple of clumsy squeezes before refining his touch. His touch was perfect. He rubbed them in all the right ways, with just the right amount of pressure, and I couldn’t contain my moans.
Panting in breathless excitement and my body squirming of its own accord. Bennett kissed me passionately. It was a tender kiss and contrasted with the passion I felt, “Holy crap. Being married really makes a difference,” I tease.
Bennett’s timing and the way his hands roamed all over my body set the pace of growing arousal. I felt like a bomb was going to explode inside of me if I didn’t get fucked soon.
Begging him to fill me. Begging him to give me exactly what we both want, Bennett’s triumphant expression on his face tells me everything, he’s here to play. He wants this as badly as I do, but the slow movements prove to me how much he loves and wants to take his time devouring me.
His cock rubbed across my pussy lips and I became as taut as a bowstring. Every part of my body tingled with anticipation. Flicking his cock over my clit twice has me moaning with sheer anticipation for more.
His thrust was forceful and my breath escaped my body unbidden. I was seeing stars behind tightly clenched eyelids. He twisted around a little and started to thrust in and out, hitting all of my pleasure spots. The perfect rhythm of his thrusts was mirrored by my screams of ecstasy. The repetitive motion was seesawing across my clit.
Nearly a thrust away, Bennett suddenly changed his grip on my arms, pinning them above my head, and pulled out. The emptiness came at the crucial moment, and I teetered on the edge of orgasm for what felt like an eternity. I felt like a volcano was going to erupt. There was no touch. I let out a shriek of frustration as my pleasure started to slip away from me. Looking into Bennett’s eyes I see the grin. I tried to grind myself against him, but he knelt up and put himself out of my reach.
“Wait,” he demanded leaving me flabbergasted.
Sucking in desperate gasps of air as he smiled broadly. Inching closing to me I feel my pussy lips open and close, eager to cum. But Bennett was taking his time sending me over the edge. The heat in my loins threatening to consume me. Holding my hips down with one arm tickling around my clit with the other. His mouth kissed all over of my tits, just not my nipples. Inarticulate groans left my mouth as he kept me exactly on the edge of orgasm, never letting me peak, but never letting me fall either. My perception constricted to just that cycle. Nothing else mattered. A big part of me wanted his torture to go on forever, but also lose myself.
“I love you,” he whispered as I felt him enter me hard.
“I love you too,” I groaned as I felt him hit me just right.
“I love you,” he continued to moan with each thrust.
A radiant smile split my face as I gazed adoringly up at the face of my Bennett. I sniffled. Tears of joy were drying on my cheeks. I felt such serene happiness; I could not imagine my life without Bennett. The fire in my loins reminded me whom I belonged to.
Forever it would be B&J.
A SPECIAL MESSAGE:
Relationships aren’t always easy. There are ups and downs. There are battles to fight to get to where you want to be. Often or not, they are easy battles.
We made it.
We made it because love found a way to one another.
We made it because we never gave up.
And you shouldn’t either.
If there’s something you want, someone you want, go get it/him/her.
Be brave.
Love can conquer all!
Never think because you may have lost everything, that it’s the end. It’s not!!!
You will live through it, past it, and you will find someone again, most likely in the most unlikely place or time.
It’s never ever too late!
Love's Language
By Ella Wheeler Wilcox
How does Love speak?
In the faint flush upon the telltale cheek,
And in the pallor that succeeds it; by
The quivering lid of an averted eye--
The smile that proves the parent to a sigh
Thus doth Love speak.
How does Love speak?
By the uneven heart-throbs, and the freak
Of bounding pulses that stand still and ache,
While new emotions, like strange barges, make
Along vein-channels their disturbing course;
Still as the dawn, and with the dawn's swift force--
Thus doth Love speak.
How does Love speak?
In the avoidance of that which we seek--
The sudden silence and reserve when near--
The eye that glistens with an unshed tear--
The joy that seems the counterpart of fear,
As the alarmed heart leaps in the breast,
And knows, and names, and greets its godlike guest--
Thus doth Love speak.
How does Love speak?
In the proud spirit suddenly grown meek--
The haughty heart grown humble; in the tender
And unnamed light that floods the world with splendor;
In the resemblance which the fond eyes trace
In all fair things to one beloved face;
In the shy touch of hands that thrill and tremble;
In looks and lips that can no more dissemble--
Thus doth Love speak.
How does Love speak?
In the wild words that uttered seem so weak
They shrink ashamed in silence; in the fire
Glance strikes with glance, swift flashing high and higher,
Like lightnings that precede the mighty storm;
In the deep, soulful stillness; in the warm,
Impassioned tide that sweeps through throbbing veins,
Between the shores of keen delights and pains;
In the embrace where madness melts in bliss,
And in the convulsive rapture of a kiss--
Thus doth Love speak.

FIVE YEARS LATER
Pushing the button on my minivan key fob, I grab my three-year-old by the hand and latch my arm around the handle of the baby carrier. Walking into the daycare I’m greeted by my friend Sarah who took my three-year-old son, Jacob, by the hand and led him right into the playgroup. I never got a goodbye hug – that’s how much he loves being here. “I won’t be but an hour,” I state as I check on my baby girl, Savannah, sleeping in the baby carrier. “That’s fine,” Sarah hugs me, “How’s my little angel?” she stares into the car seat as I brag about how great my children are.
Lucky to have been blessed with two little angels, only two years after Bennett and I got married, I say my goodbyes as I head to the pediatrician for Savannah’s three-month checkup.
Perfect five years lie behind us. As I’m driving to the doctor’s appointment I reminisce all the good that has happened. My magazine has taken off and it’s run so smoothly with the staff I had hired, there’s no need for me to show up very often. Bennett’s career has taken us by surprise when he was made Chief a few months ago. He’s proud of his team and everyone is satisfied with his leadership. I’m beyond proud of my husband.
Cassie has finally found the one for her. She’s been dating a guy for the past three years now. Neither of them is serious about marriage just yet, which I agree with. They’re too busy traveling the world, enjoying their life, before settling down. I envy them, but only on days it gets stressful with the kids, which isn’t all that often.
After the wedding, I never saw Noah again. I’m not sure where in life he’s at, I’m not sure if he’s happy somewhere, sad, or even still alive. Not another thought was shared on his behalf since that day. I don’t wish him ill will, but I also do not want to ever cross his path
again.
After Savannah’s checkup, she’s my healthy fourteen-pound baby; I go back to the daycare to pick up Jacob. The only time I ever drop him off is when I have appointments and don’t have anyone else to watch him. It’s usually not more than hour. He enjoys the time to play with some of his friends, especially Sarah’s daughter Melina.
“How was the appointment?” Sarah greets me as I walk in with Savannah in my arms.
“She’s healthy as can be,” I cuddle my brown haired, brown eyed, smiling little angel.
“Perfect. So, I met a guy,” she strikes up a conversation.
“Oh really?” we sit at a table in the corner watching the kids play as she pulls Savannah from my arms to cuddle her.
“He’s handsome. He’s my age. He loves kids, but doesn’t have any of his own, he’s a gentleman, a cop, and totally hot,” she’s beaming.
“How many times have you two gone out?”
“Enough to have wild sex,” she smirks.
Sarah is a single mom and hasn’t had much luck with men since Melina’s daddy passed away right after she was born.
“Dang, when do I get to meet this lucky guy?”
“Actually, we’d like to take you and Bennett out tomorrow night, I was telling him about Melina and Jacob being such great friends and how much I adored your little girl. I kinda brag about my friends,” she jokes.
“I’ll ask Cassie if she can watch the kids,” I actually look forward to a night out.
“Awesome.”
Back home I’m met by Bennett cooking us a fantastic lunch. Jacob runs straight to his daddy’s legs latching on talking about how his morning went with his best friend Melina. I breastfeed Savannah as I tell Bennett all about the dinner we’re invited to with Sarah and her date, whose name I never even caught. “Sounds good,” he whispers as he kisses my forehead while smiling at our baby girl.
