I love to do harmless April Fool’s Day pranks, and I made this cover for my readers, even going so far as to make a book blurb and fake Amazon book preview image for Facebook.
But the joke’s on me and this, of all of the books I have planned, is the one I have the most readers clamoring for!
I am not writing it. I am not writing the scene where Anita plays Simon Says and makes Frank stand on one foot forever. I am not plotting the chapter where they are dancing around the empty ballroom. I am not researching all the flamingo jokes on the internet.
