Tribe Master 2: A Fantasy Harem Adventure
Page 27
Ownership of new land takes ten minutes to complete, regardless of size. Removal of the flag from the land will result in failure of the ownership attempt.
My eyes scanned the warnings in a quick reminder to myself. It had been a while since the first occasion that I last absorbed land into the tribe’s ownership using a flag, that being the Rourke Homestead.
None of it made me worry. It didn’t apply.
I pressed accept and the flag appeared. I admired the simple item for a moment.
‘This is a huge turning point,’ Alorion said. ‘You just vanquished an enemy tribe, or gang, whatever we’re calling them, but technically-speaking they’re a tribe. Now you’re claiming their land. You’re a real leader.’
‘Hopefully I won’t turn into a warlord anytime soon,’ I replied, sighing deeply. ‘Are you coming with us tomorrow?’
‘I would be honored. It would be a pleasure to get outside of the land for a little while.’
We headed back outside and bid each other goodnight. Alorion scuttled off to his home in the northern lookout post. I headed halfway up the staircase to my treehouse and stopped. I looked out over my peaceful lands in the sunset, then looked down to the flag in my hand.
This wasn’t a friendly claim. Alorion was right. I was claiming the land of an enemy tribe, and taking their resources for my own.
And I liked the feeling.
It had been a week since I had killed Werger and his men, and tomorrow we would head there to claim ownership and take it all for ourselves.
I headed up to my treehouse and closed the door behind me, looking to my beautiful wives. Santana was already fast asleep next to Lara, who was dozing off herself. My more exotic wives, Elera and Ariadne, were examining each other’s bodies in the fading light.
They had been fascinated with each other ever since our time in the hidden cave.
They turned and beckoned me over. After pulling off my clothes I climbed into bed between my wives.
They fell asleep next to me atop the sheets, their warm, naked bodies pressed together and pushed up to mine as I rested my head against the headboard and relaxed.
There was one thing that I hadn’t accounted for, though. It was rule number 2 of land-claiming.
Any and all sentient beings within lands selected for ownership will be informed of the attempt to claim the land.
Werger’s imp was somewhere in the nearby forest, that I was already confident of.
But there was something I had missed.
There was another person on the land that I hadn’t accounted for, a person that I wasn’t even remotely aware of, who had remained hidden the entire time and was still hidden there now.
And they weren’t going to leave without a fight.
