Their Twisted Love (The Twisted Mosaic - Book 2) Page 12

by James, Amelia

If only Will was here, too.

Alex yanked his belt off, ripping a loop in the process. "You gotta stop lying to me."

"Did I piss you off tonight?"

"Hell yeah." He knelt beside me and grabbed my hair.

"Good. Fuck me like you hate me."

His eyes glittered as his gaze swept my body. "I hate your lying little mouth...." He reprimanded my lips with a biting kiss. "Your perfect tits...." He plucked my nipple with his teeth.... "Your greedy cunt." He stood, unzipped his pants, and released his beautiful cock. But he held it back, stroking it with his hand as if mine didn't deserve the pleasure.

I waited for him to lick me, stroke me, or fuck me, but instead he yanked me off the bed and sat down in a chair, pulling me onto his lap and forcing me to face the second man I'd deceived.

Jay dropped to the floor, and Alex pushed my thighs apart with his knees. "I hate when you spread your legs for any man with a hard dick or a fast tongue."

I rose off Alex's lap when Jay's tongue slapped my clit, but Alex slid his arms under mine and clapped his hands over my shoulders, pulling me down, and forcing me to take the other man's torment.

Jay sucked my exposed flesh. The gentle lover I'd enjoyed earlier disappeared, replaced by the man I'd wronged and who had the sexual expertise to discipline me for it.

"Oh please, please punish me." I raised my arms and slid down Alex's slick thighs, jamming my battered pussy against Jay's merciless mouth. He rewarded me with his ruthless tongue.

"Can't get enough, can you, baby?" Alex growled in my ear. "Let's see how much more you can take." He plunged his rigid dick into my pussy while Jay trapped my legs under his arms and assaulted my clit.

They held me motionless, completely at their mercy, fucking and sucking me while I could do nothing but quiver. But as I surrendered, power surged through my body, shattering my illusions about control and strength. I got the mind-blowing sex I wanted, but only after Alex had taken the authority from me.

My brain shorted out as electric sparks overloaded my pussy, melting me from the inside out. "Oh God, help me!" Someone grabbed my nipple, pinching hard while Alex slammed me from behind. I collapsed in his arms, hanging over Jay while Alex kept pounding.

His cock slipped out and he tried to jam it in my ass.

"No!" I slid off his lap and spun to face him. "Not for you. Not yet."

Alex grabbed my arms and yanked my naked body into him. "Why?"

I slid back and rubbed my ass against Jay's erection, still trapped in his jeans. "He can have it, Will had it. But you can't."

Alex's eyes turned black. His jaw twitched and he forced two words between his mashed lips. "Get out."

Jay grabbed his shirt and ducked out the door.

I sat down on the floor, one leg bent at the knee and the other splayed, while Alex glared at me from the chair. My breasts heaved as a challenge danced on my tongue. Don't say it. Don't test him. "Who's being punished now?"

He stood up and yanked me to my feet. My arm burned as he wrenched it behind my back and bent me over the desk, smashing my breasts on top of files and spreadsheets. He violated my pussy, slamming his cock in deep and hard while I clapped my hand over my mouth and swallowed the gloating laughter threatening to overcome me.

Indulgent satisfaction curled between my legs, tightening like a spring. Victory hummed along the coil, cranking up the tension.

Alex knew my body. He knew exactly when I needed release.

  "Ohh God, Alex. Youuu... bastard!"

And he knew exactly when pulling out would leave me in agony.

"What the hell are you doing?" I peeled documents off my sweaty skin as I stormed after him.

"Denying you." He jerked his pants up, stuffing his still stiff cock behind his zipper. He hadn't come either.

"Are you punishing both of us?"

  "We deserve it."

  "What are you talking about?"

He grabbed my shirt and shorts and threw them at me. "Get dressed. I can't yell at you while you're naked."

I crossed my arms under my bare breasts and left my clothes on the floor.

He snarled. "All right. I don't give a shit who fucks you—or your ass. That's not what pisses me off."

  "Then what?"

"Lying to me! You promised me you'd tell Jay about our plans, but you deceived both of us."

Why doesn't he get it? "I had to! We've never done this role-playing thing before, and I didn't know... I didn't know if pretending to cheat would appeal to me if I didn't keep it secret from one of you."

His voice dropped to a dangerous level. "Did it? Did you like cheating?" He waited, tension shaking him like a rattlesnake poised to strike while I replayed the evening's events.

"No. Not anymore. The thrill came from knowing you would walk through that door and find me naked with another man... and then join us."

"I almost came in my pants waiting and listening from the hall. We planned this together, but it was your idea. Why wasn't that enough for you?"

Don't tell him why. He'll never understand. I pulled my shirt over my head and slipped into my shorts. When I'd covered up, I sat on the bed and pulled him down with me. "All this playing dirty... it's fun, but something's missing."

  "Should we try something else?"

"Not something." I have to tell him. "Someone.

"If you don't like Jay, I can find a different guy."

"There's only one other guy I want." I looked straight into Alex's eyes. I didn't need to say the name.

Alex jumped up and tore his hands through his hair. "Jesus Christ! When are you ever gonna get over him?"

I bolted off the bed and marched after him. "I don't want to!"

"You can't have both of us."

"Why not? You don't have a problem letting me fuck another guy."

"A stranger. Someone I can pay to get you off and get out of our lives."

His admission punched me in the gut. "You hired Jay to fuck me?"

"What did you expect from me, darlin'?"

I held my hand over my churning stomach and braced myself on the bed as my knees gave out. "I should've known."

He crossed his arms and glared down at me. "Damn right. And now I gotta chase him down and give him the money for tonight's fuck-up."

"Yeah, but he'll be gone for good after that. Isn't that what you want?"

He turned and clenched his fists. "I wish I could get rid of Will so easily."

I jumped up and stomped after him. "Will is our friend!"

He spun and I retreated as he drove me across the room. "Yes! He is. And that's exactly why I can't let him into our bed."

I planted my feet and lowered my voice. "That's why I can."

"Fine. Go back to him! Let him fuck your sweet little ass, but don't think I'll want it once he's done with you."

"Bastard!" I slapped him and he stumbled back. "Do you care about me at all?"

A red welt rose across his cheek, but he refused to acknowledge it. "Do you care about me? All these other guys... Will, Jay, your pussy ex-boyfriend.... You can fuck them and then crawl into my bed. Does sex mean anything to you? Or do you crave strange dick that much?"

No. Not anymore. I'd enjoyed sharing my body with a new man. I'd enjoyed the rush of secretive sex. But variety and cheating no longer appealed to me. I craved something—someone—familiar and secure instead.

  Will.

Why not Alex? He's familiar. But he's dangerous. I want both!

I couldn't make sense of my turbulent thoughts so I lashed out at him. "You let me fuck them!"

"I gave you what you wanted!"

That was his mistake. "What I want isn't always good for me."

"I could be good for you." He held my face in his hands and searched my eyes, reading my aching heart and understanding more than I ever would. "But that's not what you want."

I turned away and pressed my hand to my mouth, holding back gut-wrenching sobs until I heard the door close behind him.
>
Good for me.... Why don't I want what's good for me? I'd rejected better men to pursue the man who abused my body and tormented my soul. And I craved him all the more. He'd committed to making me happy, but I couldn't do the same for him. I want to love Alex. I need to. But if I gave my heart him, I'd have to take it from Will. I couldn't be that selfish.

  Not That Woman

Damn it! I stuffed my phone in my purse and hurried down the jet way at O'Hare. The Midwest humidity enveloped me, and the heavy heat snuffed the air from my lungs as soon as I stepped off the plane. Will's dedication to his job had taken him away from me again. He promised he'd see me tomorrow, but I needed someone—anyone—now.

My phone chimed with a text message from Claire: 'Your return flight to Denver is confirmed for Sunday at 4:47 p.m.'

I typed a reply: 'Cancel it', but didn't press send. I couldn't close that door yet. Why the hell not? Alex had walked out on me—again. Why not just slam the door in his face and be done with that bastard?

I could be good for you.

  "How does he know that?"

The gate attendant blinked at me. "Excuse me, Miss?"

"Never mind." I need a fucking drink.

I elbowed my way through the crowd and headed for the terminal, skidding to a stop when my ex-boyfriend stepped off the escalator. Without a second thought, I ducked into a bookstore and watched Scott approach. He flipped through a file in his hand, ignoring me and everyone else around him.

Should I avoid him? Should I grab his cute little ass and kiss him silly?

I stepped into the corridor. "Hi, Scott."

He looked up and nearly fell over backwards as he tried not to run me over. "Talia. Hey, how are you?"

Not gonna answer that. "Where are you headed?"

He stuffed the file into his briefcase and slung the strap over his shoulder. "The company is sending me to corporate headquarters in Miami."

  "On a Friday night?"

"I have to be there first thing Monday, so I thought I'd enjoy the weekend."

"Nice." He'd never have noticed me if I hadn't stopped him. Why didn't I let him walk by? We couldn't have sex at the airport. Not Scott and me. Alex would've dragged me off to the nearest restroom and gotten us both arrested, but Scott was much too cautious for that kind of depravity.

"Do you have time for a drink?" Why the hell did I do that?

He twisted his wrist. "Yeah, actually, I do. I left straight from work and got here way too early."

"Great." Maybe some part of me thought he'd say no. But why should he? After all, inviting an ex for a drink, especially in an airport with little time and even less opportunity, didn't mean I wanted to have sex with him.

We walked to a nearby bar and he ordered beer for both of us. The place didn't offer much privacy. The entire front wall opened to the busy corridor, and the back wall was one big window to the airfield. But the interior looked like any other sports bar. Bears, Cubs, White Sox and Bulls logos decorated the dark wood paneling and waitresses in short skirts and tight tops served drinks and appetizers.

"At least the service is fast in these places."

"Yeah." I picked up the frosty glass and gulped it down, trying to think of something to say.

He tapped his thumbs on his glass. "Are you coming home from Denver?"

"Yeah, but I have to go back on Sunday. Still working on that case."

"I see." He gazed out the wall of windows as a plane taxied down the runway.

I stared at the neon liquor logos reflected in my glass until my palm turned cold and my beer got warm. "So... Miami. Fun."

"Yeah. I hope I can get away from the office to enjoy the beach."

"Oh, you have to. That wouldn't be fair."

He shoved his empty glass across the bar. "Uh-huh. Why are we doing this?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out."

"The last time you came to me, you'd been fooling around with your ex... and now I'm your ex."

Don't go there. "I got dumped, okay? I saw you, and I thought it would be nice to talk to someone... familiar."

  "Safe."

  "That too."

"So now he's the ex, and I'm convenient." He reached over and slid his hand up my thigh.

Metal chair legs screeched across the tile floor as I backed away. "I don't want to sleep with you."

"Then why are you screwing with me?" he snapped. A waitress stopped in her tracks, sloshing beer onto the table beside her.

I pulled my elbows into my body, trying to disappear in my chair. "I just wanted to be polite."

"Oh, so getting me drunk before you fuck me is polite."

"You're not drunk. And this isn't about you!"

He scooted close to me again, and a leering look danced in his eyes. "My company has access to a private waiting area. I'm sure we could find a place to fool around in there."

"No, Scott. Goodnight." I grabbed my bags and stood up.

"Come on. I thought you were easy."

I whirled, my hand raised to strike his smug face, but I pulled it back when he cowered. "I am not that woman anymore."

  "Too bad."

Not long ago, I might've agreed with him. "I'm not looking to get laid. I came to you for help."

  "Help with what?"

I'd met Scott not along after that one time Will and I fucked at our beach. I couldn't decide... questioning everything... my life, my work, even my sexuality. Nothing made sense. "Control. My life is so fucked up. When we met, I thought you could ground me. That's why I stayed with you for so long—even without sex. You were... dependable. I thought that's what I needed, but now I know I need...."

  "What?"

Danger, security, a nasty romp in the sack with a man who grounds me. Is that possible? "I can't explain it."

  "Then I can't help you."

I slid my laptop case over my shoulder. "You never could. I need someone who understands me."

Scott stood and collected his bags. "I hope you find him."

  "I think I already have."

He nodded. "If you see me again, just let me keep walking."

"Goodbye, Scott." I kissed his cheek, and we walked into the crowded corridor, heading in opposite directions.

I have already found him. But which him?

I grabbed my phone to call a cab and found the unsent text to Claire to cancel my return flight. Delete. I'm going back to Denver. A new message popped up.

Will: 'Case closed. We'll be together tomorrow.'

Maybe I wouldn't choose one him just yet.

  Proof

"Another round?" The bartender grabbed my empty glass.

"Keep 'em coming." I'd planned on spending Saturday night, hell, all weekend with Talia. But after I walked out on her, she spent the rest of the week working from her hotel room and then jumped on the first plane back to Chicago on Friday night. Claire told me she had a return flight scheduled for Sunday.

What the hell would I do when she came back? If she came back.

  Don't think, just drink.

The bartender slapped the whole bottle of whisky on the bar in front of me alongside a fresh glass. "You can pour."

"Thanks." I filled the glass and kept the bottle, hoping to drown out the mistakes flooding my brain. Most of them got saturated and sank, but the biggies kept bobbing on the surface.

Dating her. A mistake? We were happy for a little while. Both of us. Together. Not terribly exciting, but I thought we'd gotten close to something... something that could've worked for us.

Letting her fuck another guy—no—the wrong guy, according to her. But we'd had fun until she'd figured that out.

Loving her. What? No. I pushed that one under and circled back to the mistakes floating away from my flailing grasp like slippery life preservers. I finally snagged one and pulled my head above water. S.S. Will Barnett. Jesus.

My glass emptied and I poured another.

She's probably fucking him right now. Well hell, I could do that too. Not Will. That
hot chick at the end of the bar.

She sat by herself, nursing a drink and staring at her cell phone, tapping her frosted pink fingernails on the bar. Been stood up? Perfect.

I followed her gaze toward the door, and watched her sigh as the next person who walked through approached someone else. Her pale pink sundress floated over apple-sized breasts, slim thighs. Strappy sandals with four-inch heels dangled from her polished toes. Sweet, demure, and sexy as fucking hell. What idiot would ditch her?

She wore no jewelry except for a silver choker she occasionally stroked, and pretty pearl earrings framed by strands of silky brown hair that escaped from the knot she'd twisted on top of her head. I searched the files in my brain for a line that would appeal to an apparent innocent, but chucked them all and decided to go with the direct approach.

"May I buy you a drink?"

She looked up at me as I sat beside her. Her raspberry lips parted and she gasped. "Alex?"

  I blinked. "Claire?"

She blushed and her thick eyelashes fluttered. "I didn't expect to see you here."

"Wow. You look... completely different." And ready for a tussle in the sheets. "I've never seen you... so much skin."

Her dress pulled tight across her breasts as she sat up straight. "My after-hours secret identity. I can't wear this at work."

"Damn good thing. I'd have bent you over your desk a long time ago." She still works for you, idiot!

The Claire I knew—office Claire—would've crawled under the bar and cowered, but this woman— this sexual creature—smiled and drew a polished fingertip along my arm. "I know."

  "That obvious, huh?"

Her eyes sparkled as she nodded.

"You never answered my question. May I buy you a drink?"

She glanced at her phone and shrugged. "Why not?"

I ordered another round and slid closer to her. Stupid move, but if I was going to fuck up my life over Talia, I'd better fuck it good. "You're not keeping much a secret in that dress." Even in the dim light and the stuffy crowded room, her cute perky nipples made their presence known under the thin cotton.

"And you look pretty damn hot in that t-shirt and jeans. The girls at the office suspected you had a great body, but now I have proof."
