  GLORY CARTER

Life was full of uncertainties but Glory Carter was very certain of one thing; there was a man out there for her. She was sure he was also looking for her. Somehow, deep down in her heart, she felt like she had seen him before. She could only picture his face when she closed her eyes, but she would recognize him if their path ever crossed. Sometimes, she cried herself to sleep because of him. Why was it taking her forever to meet him? Often times, she found herself laughing when she imagined being with him. And there were some nights she could hardly sleep as thoughts of him sailed through her mind. Whether she was happy or sad, he was always at the back of her mind.

It was a beautiful full moon night. The rayon curtains at her window were swaying lightly in the night breeze. The cold breeze caressed Glory’s skin, sending jolts of shiver down her spine. It felt like a lover’s touch, light feather-like touches. The wind got fierce, and a gush of wind blew into the room. She lifted up her head, letting the wind caress her face. She wondered what plans life had for her and what her dream guy was doing at the moment. Was he also laying up in bed thinking of her? Did he feel his body go warm just thinking about her? Did he dream of her the night before and the many nights she couldn’t remember? She wondered if he was doing fine and if he was also counting down to the day their paths would cross. What would she say to him when they finally meet each other? Would she laugh and pull him into her arms? Or she would stand by awkwardly, watching him talk to some other girl? It wasn’t easy. Each day felt long without him and the nights were colder without him by her side. Maybe if she wished harder enough, he would appear in her room one night and make sweet love to her. Would he kiss her aching boobs, lightly pinch her nipples or spread her legs apart and drive his hard length into her? She would kiss his sweaty back, lick his ears, and slip her tongue into his hot mouth.

Sometimes when she dreamt of him and woke up all alone in her bed, it made her feel like someone had wrenched out her heart and thrown it into a lake of fire. Dreams were the place she could be with him but how could she be with him when thoughts of him made sleep evade her?

She sighed as she pressed her pillow against her face, wishing she was cuddling with her lover. They would lay in each other’s arms and just listen to each other’s heartbeat. She would memorize the sound of his heartbeat and when alone, she would play it in her head like it was a song. No man had been able to take her breath away and make her want to build her life with him.

She wasn’t weird as many of her friends believed. She was a girl who believed in true love and she knew her true love was out there. She had seen many girls fall by the wayside because they gave their hearts to the wrong guys. Many girls had also lost their lives because they were betrayed by the men who vowed to love them forever. However, her own lover would be different. She would keep her body for him. Every day, she would hope and dream of him. Yes, there was truly someone out there for her. Someone who would sweep her off her feet, buy her roses, and they would both carve their names and initials on trees. Sometimes, she was scared that she would never find the ‘one’. Sometimes, she doubted herself and fear would creep up on her. However, she held onto only the good thoughts in her head; she would find the man of her dreams, marry him, and have his babies. When girls approach her for a relationship, she politely turned them down. Even guys too. She was a beautiful girl and also smart. Many people want to be friends with her. Sometimes her flesh put unnecessary pleasure on her but her heart keeps telling her to hold on.

‘Would I ever find him?’ She wondered. ‘Would I find a guy who would treat me like a queen and remain faithful to me? Would I ever find that happiness I seek or would I spend the rest of my life as an old boring maid?’

Tears stung her eyes and she brushed them away with the back of her palm. To everyone, she was a girl with no worries. To everyone, she was the girl who always smiled and laughed the hardest. But deep down, there was a storm of fear and insecurities brewing up in her. She
was lonely and scared. She could easily date one of her numerous admirers, but that wouldn't give her the fulfillment she desired. She closed her eyes, picturing the face of the man of her dreams. She found herself smiling as she imagined dancing with him as he circled his arms around her. She wrapped her arms around herself and gave herself a hug.

Her lover dipped his head slowly and kiss behind her ear. She wanted to make him happy and she wanted to please him in every way. Looking into his eyes, she got on her knees and unbuckled his pant. She slipped out his manhood and gently kissed its beautiful head. He moaned loudly, sending a sea of pleasure to her. He was so wet and hard for her. She licked the tangy wetness on the tip of his shaft and then ran her tongue down his hard length. She loved being bad for him and making him so hot for her. She loved that she could be everything for him. She opened her mouth and sucked him. He groaned loudly, gently pushing his shaft into her mouth.

She pushed him onto the bed and straddled him. Slowly, she lowered herself onto his hard-on. The walls of her slit gripped him as she started to bounce up and down. She started by slowly riding him while his fingers played with her pebble-hard nipples.

She started bouncing up and down his cock while she leaned over and pushed a nipple between his lips. He flicked his tongue on her nipples making an intense pleasure run through her.

The scenes changed so quickly in her head and she was on a dancing floor with her true love.

He placed a hand under her jawline and placed a soft kiss on her lips. She exhaled and slightly parted her lips. He ran his hands along her thighs as they danced, pressing his manhood against her buttocks.

He pushed up her dress and slipped his hand into her panties. She groaned when one of his fingers found her inflamed clit. He kissed her neck as his fingers explored that sweet part of her. He gently cupped her arching breasts through her blouse, pinching her nipples. He twirled her about on the dance floor and before she realized it, they were making their way into a secluded corner.

His warm tongue suckled one of her swollen nipples through her blouse, leaving a wet patch on the spot. She moaned softly, pressing her body into him.

He glided his tongue into her mouth, and kissed her passionately while sucking her tongue and gnawing on her lips.

“Please…make love to me,” she begged.

They were now in a magnificent room with a huge bed. His hands unclasped her bra and his tongue circled her exposed nipples. He bit, sucked, and licked them until she begged him for more. He slipped two fingers into her wet slit slowly, twisting it in and out of her. She cried out his name as a wave of pleasure washed over her. He kissed her breasts, belly, and stuck his tongue into her navel. He squeezed the sides of her breasts as he kissed his way down to her slit. He gently widened her legs and licked her swollen slit. She cried out, jerking her legs. He placed a hand on her belly in a comforting way and then started to lick her feminine core.

“You are the only woman for me,” He murmured, slowly trailing his tongue up and down the length of her wet mound.

“You are the only man for me too,” She moaned out.

He glided his tongue along the crease of her pussy while he rubbed his thumb on her clit in a circular motion. He plunged his tongue into her as he used his fingers to separate her soft folds. He probed his tongue deeper into her as his hand closed around one of her breasts. She climaxed immediately; it was so fast that she could hardly breathe.

“I want to…” She said as she reached out and tentatively touched the tip of his penis. He groaned and then gently removed her hand. He placed the head of his shaft at her wet entrance and slowly drove into her. She cried out, staring into his beautiful eyes. He made love to her gently, slowly, and delicately until she cried out his name.

Glory opened her eyes, panting heavily. It felt real as she had a dull ache between her legs. The insides of her thighs felt wet when she pressed them together and her nipples were really hard. She had a gorgeous body and a flawless skin. She knew her body very well and she knew that it ached to be loved. But only that man who was truly meant for her could quench the fire in her. She decided that she would keep waiting for him. Even if it takes her whole life, she would wait. When she finally meets him, she would surrender her body, mind, and soul to him. Love would be their boat and they could sail wherever they want, finding happiness along the way, and creating it when they found none. Until she finds him, she would comfort herself with the thoughts of him and hope to see him in her dream every time she closed her eyes.

  Chapter One

  The President’s Relative, or not

“Glory, are you really the grand-daughter of former US President Jimmy Carter?” asked thenaïve, brunette Deborah Summers, as she sat opposite Glory Carter during lunch break in the canteen at the University of Chicago, Illinois.

Glory Carter, the 20-year-old final year planetology student, gripped the fork in her right hand even tighter.

“Do I look like a peanut to you, Debbie?” responded Glory, with reference to Jimmy Carter’s days as a peanut farmer outside of his political career.

"For the hundredth time this year, I am not Jimmy Carter’s grand-daughter, or even related to him."

Jennifer Ellis, who was seated next to Deborah, grinned with satisfaction. She wasn’t the leader of the Glory Carter fan club. The feeling was mutual because Glory didn't like or trust Jennifer that much either. Fashion-conscious Jennifer, wearing the latest Levis jeans and Lipsy Cold Shoulder blouse that left very little still covered.

In Glory’s mind, Jennifer Ellis was the poor little rich girl who got everything that she wanted in life. Few people would put up with Jennifer’s bitchy attitude, so she had found a way to stick to Glory like a leach.

Jennifer decided to stir things up even more.

"So who are you going to the prom dance with, Glory?"

Glory sighed and pushed her black hair away from her face. She was dateless but not desperate. After all, with the facial figures and body she has been blessed with, almost every guy at the University of Chicago had tried to hit on her, but with no luck.

"Oh my gosh! Glory, you don't have a date! " Jennifer summarized.

Deborah Summers, a year younger than her two student colleagues, rallied to Glory’s defence.

"Please Jen, Glory has got more guys texting her in a month than you have had in your lifetime."

Jennifer was a firm believer in the philosophy that 'two is a company and three is a crowd’.

"I did not ask for your opinion, Miss ‘'I suck up to the Professors’," retorted the red-haired Jennifer.

Jennifer, turned her attention back to Glory.

“I wasn’t trying to be mean, Glory,"

“It’s just that you are never seen with a guy and some people might think that you are, well…"

Glory’s left hand took a firm grasp on her plastic cup. If Jennifer even suggested that some students thought that Glory was possibly lesbian, the student queen of glitz and glamour was about to have her expensive clothes covered in orange juice.

Jennifer spoke in the nick of time.

“What about that archaeology student, Adam Kennedy? He is always staring at you."

  “Kennedy…" chipped in Deborah.

“Is he related to the late US President, JF Kennedy?"

  Glory sniggered.

First, it was her surname in connection with Jimmy Carter and now, Adam Kennedy and the assassinated US leader of the 1960s.

“Well, if you don’t want him, I will move in,” Jennifer said with reference to the good-looking Adam.

  “He is quite a catch."

Glory had to choose her words carefully. She had noticed 22-year-old Adam Kennedy and he had definitely noticed her. She was playing the hard-to-get game her mother had taught her.

‘"Don’t let any man think that you are easy, Glory." Robyn Carter had once told her daughter.

“Be my guest with Adam," Glory told her giving Deborah a side wink. Glory might only be 20 years ol
d, but she was streetwise and knew that Jennifer’s money and expensive clothes would not net a guy of Adam’s calibre.

“All right then, Glory. I will leave you to keep on looking down your telescopic lens and maybe Mr Right will magically appear for you someday," Jennifer” said as she, Jennifer, rose from her seat and headed off with her lunch tray.

“That bitch," Deborah remarked once Jennifer was out of earshot.

“You said it, I thought it," said Glory.

Adam Kennedy stood in conversation with a fellow male student at the far side of the canteen, but it was clear that he had his eyes firmly on Glory, but not for long though.

The moment he saw Jennifer Ellis actioning her sexy hip-moving walk towards him, he knew what was coming next and his sprint from the area would have made 2016 Olympic double gold medalist speedster. Usain Bolt looks sluggish beside him

Glory and Deborah burst out laughing but hid their faces behind their university textbooks to avoid Jennifer seeing that they were laughing at her and not with her.

What Glory didn’t know was that she was being watched by another interested party. Alan Falcon, 23, son of a billionaire pharmaceutical businessman, Rex Falcon. Healso has eyes for Glory and wanted her as his girl. Although, he knew that time was running out as the university year was about to end.

Both Adam and Alan had a common thought with regards to Glory prom night; it had to be prom night. Neither of them planned on asking Glory to accompany them to the prom. Both planned to make their move when they saw her at the function.

“So who are you really going with to prom night?” Deborah asked Glory again as the girls packed away their lunch trays.

  Again Glory just sighed.

How she wished that for once in her tertiary life, she could say that she had a date for a major function. It seemed that true love and relationships were not for her. Goodness knows it was not for lack of trying on her part or the guys who had literally stalked her over the years.
