I smile, “You jealous?”
“No, why would I be?” she laughs and walks to the fridge.
“Well because I’m late, and didn’t call an-.”
“I called, Madison,” she pulls a platter out of the fridge and sets it on the island.
“I knew it,” I say and grab her hand pulling her against me, “Jealous.”
Her brows knit together, “No.”
“It’s okay baby,” I grab her hips and squat so I am getting one on one time with emerald city. “Jealousy is healthy.”
“Well I sure wouldn’t want you to ever feel jealous,” she shrugs. “It’s not-.”
“No reason to ever be,” I say trying to un-fuck it up.
She looks at me, and nods once, “Dinner is ready. If you don’t mind, I’m going to go to bed.”
“You already eat?” I ask not wanting to let go.
“Yes, cramps and cravings,” she says looking down.
“Cuddle week is upon us?” I smirk and she tries not to, but she does. “Look Tales, the jealous thing was stupid okay. I just sometimes need to know I’m not the only one head up ass here.”
“Sorry, I’m just really tired,” she says.
“Good, get in bed, I’ll scarf this down-.”
“You don’t scarf chicken parm,” she says with a little more spunk than usual.
I hold up my hands, “Then I will eat slowly and savor every bite, then I’m coming to get my cuddle on.”
When I go into our bedroom, she’s just walking out of the bathroom. Her face is washed, hair is up, she looks totally gorgeous as usual, but kind of angry, which is not my Tales, not anymore.
“Baby, you need to tell me something?” I ask pulling my shirt off knowing damn well the minute I get naked she’s gonna all but melt.
I’m right; she shakes her head and tries not to smile. “What?”
“I heart cuddle week,” I say forcing a big smile.
She laughs as she climbs in bed.
“No, seriously I do. It’s like a slumber party. Like I’m one of the girls. Like-.”
“I’ve never been to a slumber party and woke up to something poking me in the back.”
I jump in bed laughing, “I can’t help it. You’re my favorite thing to poke from behind.”
“You know that should make me mad right?”
“Oh Tales,” I pull her back snug up against my chest. “You’re my favorite thing…period.
Wednesday
On my way home I look beside me. Tales is usually right there. This week I have been busting ass and staying late, so she’s been riding with Mads or I’ve been riding with one of the guys.
I miss the hell out of her. I suppose I just take for granted that she is always there. I’m sure the only reason she hasn’t stayed late with me is because she’s tired, girl thing.
When I walk in she is pacing, “My Mom left me a note, said she was going to see your mother in Greece. Just took off without saying a word. Why would she do that?”
“You’re asking me? Baby, I have no idea why women do what they do.” I kiss her cheek and laugh pulling her into my arms. “But you and Madison used to do crazy, off the wall things.”
“But my mother isn’t like that,” she whispers and looks around to make sure no one hears us. “She doesn’t just decide she needs to go away and get on a plane to Greece. I mean your mother and her are friendly, but they don’t vacation together.”
“I know what all you women do have in common,” I laugh as I grab POW! and pull her tighter to me, cause I know she is going to pull away. “You all overthink things.”
“Is that so?” she laughs and squirms in my hands.
“Hell yes it is.”
“Well, I can promise you I don’t take twenty minutes to pick out the outfit I’m wearing for the day, or thirty minutes doing my hair.”
“Tales,” I squeeze POW! tighter. “Not everyone can jump out of the shower and look as perfect as you do.”
“Aw,” she says and wraps her arms around my neck tighter. “But so do you.”
“One of us doesn’t have to work on it.” I nuzzle into her ear, “And we both know that someone is you. Always has been, always will be.”
“It was always us,” she says and I hear her voice catch.
I run my nose up her cheek and across her face, then back and forth against hers, “No sad baby. No sadness between you and me. Just love.”
“I’m not sad,” her hands grip my hair. “Just wish I could be closer to you.”
“Yeah?” I press my lips to her head. “I have no problem with that.”
Thursday
“Baby, wake up.” I kiss her over and over on the head.
“Is everything okay?” she says in that sleepy sex voice I can’t get enough of.
“Yeah, just got a call. I have to do an interview. Gotta take a trip. You wanna come or-.”
“Now?” She says sitting up. “I didn’t hear anything about it.”
“Yeah well, there was talk yesterday but we never thought it would actually happen.” I stand off the bed and sigh. “Apparently I’m the only-.”
“With who?” she scoots out from under the covers and grabs her phone.
“Some Rolling Stones douche that has to meet me tomorrow. Steel’s jet is only available for a little bit and they offered. I really want to take it.”
“Okay, well I’m not sure I can. I have a lot to do-.”
“I told them I was only going if you could be spared.”
“Well, okay do I have time for a shower?”
“Sure, I’ll join you.”
I walk away before she can say, I have my period, such an annoying phrase. What chicks don’t get is it doesn’t matter to us, fuck it’s just extra lubricant, nothing a shower won’t wash off, and hell, if we want to fuck them in the ass, do they think that shit matters?
No.
I start the shower and go grab my toothbrush. I look in the mirror as she walks in. She turns around to grab some towels out of the closet and I see POW! Her boy shorts are riding up one side and it’s sexy as hell.
I stare too long and she catches me.
“What?” she asks.
“POW!” I answer honestly. “You have the greatest ass in the universe.”
She shakes her head, “No, you do.”
“Shh,” I say in a whisper. She looks at me curiously. “POW! will get so pissed off at you.”
I get in the shower and give her the privacy I know she wants to take care of business before joining me. When she walks towards me she has the towel draped over her arm like a waiter at a restaurant.
After nearly a year she doesn’t wrap it around her anymore just to take it off. I am eternally grateful for that.
There is just something sexy as hell watching your woman walk towards you with her tits bouncing ever so slightly. I know it, aaaand my dick knows it, so now Tales knows it too.
“We have to hurry,” I say taking her hand and standing underneath the shower.
“Where are we going?” She asks leaning her head up letting the water rush over her face.
“Spain?” I say as I squirt shampoo in my hands and start rubbing it into her hair.
She smiles and closes her eyes, enjoying the little head massage she is getting.
Head massage. Fuck.
She opens her eyes when I am done. She looks down at my dick and up at me.
Then back down.
“Tales, baby, stop eyeballing the goods, we have to go.” I scrub my head with some soap as she puts in conditioner. I grab the body sponge and wash the bod while she massages the coconut smelling stuff in her hair.
Smells sexy, looks sexy, dick hard, no time.
I turn her around and wash up her back, then reach around front and wash her tits for a tad too long.
She reaches behind herself and grabs ahold of the ring on my cock and gives it a tug.
“Fuck, Tales,” I hiss and slide my hand down her body until I am between
her legs. She’s allowing it. Fuck. Yes.
“We’ll be late,” she moans.
“It’s a private plane,” I say as I push a finger inside her. “Fuck, baby.”
She lets go of my dick and bends over pushing POW! in the air and looks over her shoulder. “Yeah?”
“Please.”
“Fuck no. Don’t you say please, Tales, say give it to me.”
“Give it to me,” she whispers as she blushes.
I feel my jaw muscles popping, I wanna eat that so bad right now, but that would definitely be pushing it.
I grab my dick and rub it up and down her hot slit and push in nice and slow.
“Fuck yes,” I hiss as I push in further. When she pushes back against me I nearly lose my load, “You keep doing that baby, and we won’t be late.”
Her head hangs low and she swivels her hips and POW! is giving me a rare treat.
“So sexy,” I say and squeeze her hips.
Tales isn’t one to take control when it comes to anything. It’s a rare treat when she’s on top and doggy style is even more rare. She is hot as hell in bed, because she’s hot as hell all the time.
She can suck my dick like no other and gets into it, but when I am between her legs, control is mine, even when I lose control. Right here and right now is her stepping way the fuck outside of the box.
Her hips are moving, she’s pushing back, she’s not meeting me thrust for thrust, I’m just standing here in awe of the way my tiny dancer is taking stage.
“I fucking love you,” I groan and she looks back at me.
“Yeah?” comes out in a needy groan as she slams against me.
“Fuck yeah. Don’t stop, Tales. This is your show.”
And she does just that. She puts on a show to end all motherfucking shows. I stand in awe, as firm as I can, while my girl fucks me like she never has before.
When she tenses I reach around her and press against her clit; she cries out. Then, and only then, do I get to accompany her. She meets me thrust for thrust and I feel my balls catch fire.
“I’m gonna come,” I hiss as I lean down against her back wrapping my arms around her.
“Give it to me,” she cries.
And I do.
“This is amazing,” she says as she takes in something new, Tales style.
I shit you not, she could get a new pair of chucks and she thinks they are the greatest thing since … my dick.
“You never cease to amaze me,” I say as I sit down and buckle my seat belt.
Her face is bright red as she sits.
I can’t help but laugh, “I’m not talking about Center shower Casa Black, Tales, I’m talking every day. I’ve never seen someone so in love with life. Never want to stop seeing it either.”
She reaches for her purse and pulls out her flight pills. She hates to fly, it makes her sick. I finally convinced her to take something for it. They make her tired and groggy and I would never want her to take it without me around. I’d be afraid someone would snatch her up and take her.
She pops the pill and drinks it down, “You won’t stop seeing it, not ever.”
She buckles up as I grab the blanket out of the duffle and throw it over us. “Long flight. I’ll probably crash too.”
And I did.
Friday
When the flight attendant taps me on the shoulder and wakes me to tell me we’re getting ready to land I nod and look down on my lap. She’s sleeping, completely out, just like she has been the entire flight.
“Hey sleepyhead, we’re here,” I whisper.
The gates to emerald city flutter open, she looks at me and gives me a grin. “Spain. Mads would love it here. The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plains,” she recites the line from My Fair Lady, a favorite Audrey Hepburn movie of my sister Madison’s.
“You fucked up, Tales?”
She pushes herself up and shakes her head no, “Overtired, or too much sleep.”
I unbuckle, then reach over and unbuckle her. I stick my hand out, “Come on, Tallia Annabelle Priest, a new adventure awaits.”
A car is waiting for us when we walk down the stairs.
“It’s dark,” she whispers and grips my hand tighter.
“Yeah, but not for long,” I laugh and tuck her under my arm holding her nice and close.
“What time is it?”
“Almost five in the morning,” I say kissing her head.
She laughs, “We missed Friday completely.”
“I don’t know, I seem to remember this morning real well,” I squeeze POW!
She looks up and smiles, “It was a good morning, right?”
“Tales, you were the superstar this morning. I wanna make sure you feel like that the entire time we’re here.”
I’ve said enough, I open the door to the black Mercedes and nod, “Let’s roll.”
Her eyes light up when we pull into the gates of the Santa Marina Resort. The car doesn’t stop at guest services, it follows the dimly lit pavement through palm trees and lush tropical greenery.
Tallia, my fiancée, has her nose nearly pressed to the window taking it all in. She’s wide awake, and I am exhausted.
She looks back at me, “Wow. Whoever this big shot reporter, from Rolling Stone, that Forever Four is trying to impress, certainly better be worth the amount this fancy schmancy place is gonna cost.”
“They had a coupon,” I say and tug on the hem of her shirt.
“Are you,” she stops and shakes her head. “You’re picking on me.”
“Never. I love that you think it’s necessary to clip coupons.”
“Habit. And besides, when I can retire at 45 and you’re on stage with a walker-.”
She squeals when I pull her into my arms, “A walker?”
“I’m joking,” she smiles.
“Well, I can assure you, whatever this place cost, it was a wise investment.”
“Wise investment,” she jokes and then cocks her head to the side. “Oh no!”
“What?” I gasp jokingly and kiss her neck.
“I don’t think I packed a dress. Memphis, I have no idea what I packed, I may have just packed-.”
“Don’t stress baby, there are stores on the Island.”
“Island? Spain isn’t an Island,” she laughs.
“My bad,” I laugh. “The ocean threw me off.”
Her hand cups my chin, “Did you sleep at all?”
“A little bit,” I admit.
“Then when we get to our room, you’re sleeping. I’m sure I can amuse myself with Spanish Television and-”
“I’m not sleeping without you,” I say nipping that in the bud right quick.
The car comes to a stop and she immediately jumps up and looks out the window.
“Wow,” she whispers.
I open my door and hop out, beating the driver around the car and open the door for her. “Should we go inside?”
“I’m not sure,” she says taking in the view.
She stands in front of me and stretches out her hands, “Look at this view. The sea is everywhere you look. And the sun, look right there, it’s rising. We got here just in time didn’t we? I mean how often do you get to see the sunrise in Spain?” She laughs. “I can’t wait to see it when the sun comes up and illuminates everything around us.”
“She’s taking in all the beauty around us and I can’t take my eyes off of her,” I say quietly.
She looks back at me and blushes, “Take it in with me.”
“I will, but let’s get inside. I heard there’s a spectacular view from the patio.”
We walk in and everything is as promised. The place is beautiful.
“It’s huge,” she laughs as she looks around the villa that is mostly white with turquoise accents.
I grab some cash out of my pocket and hand it to the driver, who drops our luggage by the door, “Thanks man.”
He nods and leaves us alone.
I grab her hand and walk through the living room area, and into
the master suite. There’s a canopy bed draped in white, which looks soft as pillows and so inviting. But my girl wants to see the sunrise, she’s gonna see the sunrise.
With my free hand I grab the throw blanket off the foot of the bed. I then open up the French doors to the balcony and lead her out to the double chaise lounge that sits in front of the infinity pool that looks like it’s spilling into the sea below.
I sit down and pull her on my lap. Once situated I throw the blanket over us and sit back. “You ready to watch the sunrise, Tales.”
“Yeah,” she says in awe.
After a few minutes she looks back at me, “What body of water is that?”
“I think it’s called the Aegean Sea,” I say pushing her hair to one side to get a better look at her neck.
“I think I am in love with this place,” she says as she leans back against me.
“You should marry it,” I smirk.
She giggles, “Memphis, just look at this place. It’s like a treasure. How did Madison find it?”
I chuckle and don’t answer.
She looks back, “What?”
“Well, she didn’t find it, I did.”
“What?”
“We aren’t in Spain, Tales.” I can’t help but laugh. “What’s that movie that emerald city is in?”
“Wizard of Oz,” she says.
“Right, we’re not in Kansas anymore,” I smirk.
“What do you mean we’re not in Spain?”
“We’re in Greece, Tales.”
“Why?” she is stunned.
“This morning, in the shower, was a million times better than any Vegas boys’ weekend could ever be.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, I mean this morning was the greatest bachelor party a guy could ask for. I mean we’re in Greece because our mothers are here and as much as Madison assured me she was okay with what I was doing, our mothers may not have been. I mean that in about three hours two women are going to go drag you away from me, take you to some froo froo spa back at the bottom of the hill at the hotel part of the resort and you’re gonna get the works.”
“You are my superstar, Tales. Our life is insane and when the world’s spinning you are the calm to the chaos that is all around us. You are standing there waiting for me. God I hope I’m enough for you. I hope you never feel like I am stealing all the spotlight, because you, Tallia, are center stage to me. So what this means,” I wipe her tears. “Is tonight when the sun, the sun we are watching rise, sets it will be officially all about you, me, and forever, as man and wife.”
