Unexpected Consequences Page 9

by Jaye Cox

"Thank God, Tiny Dancer. I thought you might have gotten lost in there."

"Nope. You can’t get rid of me that easy,” I say as he leaves to go shower. It’s just Dex and I and as usual he’s just sitting in his jocks. I swear I’m going to buy him new jocks because his are just wrong, he can’t have not bought himself new jocks ever and these are from when he lived at home with his parents. It’s pointless talking to him before his coffee so I just nod to him and he nods back. I proceed to make two cups of coffee, then walk back to the bedroom where I place the drinks on the bedside table and sit on the bed next to Rayne. "Hey, cowboy. It’s time to wake up,” I say as I run my fingers through his hair. He makes a muffled grunting sound and pulls the blanket over his head and laugh at his attempt to make me go away. Because I’m excited about today I lean over him and lift the blanket enough to see his face, "Wake up, wake up!"

"No." I grab the blanket and rip the whole thing off his body. I can’t help but admire how nice he looks naked and I’m caught off guard when he grabs me by my legs and pulls me on top of him.

  "Why the early wakeup call?"

"It’s not early, even Dex is up and getting his coffee fix."

"Shit, I better get up then," he says smiling at me.

"Yep,” I say, giving him a quick kiss on the lips, “Get that sexy ass out of bed and get dressed.” It takes another ten minutes to convince him to get up. I hate how he can just jump out of bed and throw on any clothes and still look hot.

We take two cars; Rayne, Dex Romeo and I leave first in my car while Morris and Sam take theirs. They have to make a stop before meeting us at Rayne’s parents’ house. Rayne gives me directions as we drive, the traffic isn’t bad and it’s a beautiful, hot day. The humidity is really high so we drive with the air conditioner on. I don't need to be covered in sweat the first time I meet Rayne’s family. We pull up out front of a house I would call a mansion; it’s that big. My father’s house is big but this is just something else; from the big metal gates, to the immaculate lawns and gardens. It has a rainforest vibe; it’s just beautiful. "Are you catching flies up there, Tiny Dancer?” Romeo says, laughing at me.

  "Huh?" I don’t get it.

"Your mouth is hanging open," Rayne advises me.

"Oh, ha ha. Very funny," I say pulling into the driveway and parking next to the other cars and we all pile out. A young girl comes running out of the house, full speed into Rayne. This must be his sister. She has dark hair and green eyes. After she finishes hugging him, he turns her attention onto me.

“Tiny Dancer, this is my baby sister, Abigail.”

"Tiny Dancer?" she asks, almost as if it’s a waste of her time asking.

"It’s Isabella" I say, "your brother has decided to call me that, although I’m not sure why."

She looks at me and gives me a forced half smile, then focuses her attention towards Romeo and we all walk inside. The house is even nicer inside than it is on the outside. We walk into the foyer with its gleaming white marble tiles. Off to the left is a large staircase that rolls up to the second story. We walk into the open planned living area where the pillars remind me of Ancient Greek Cathedrals. The house just keeps getting more beautiful and this room is large with white leather couches surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows. Beyond the yard - which is also stunning - is the view of the ocean.

The backyard is set up with tables and chairs, and I notice Abigail and her friends are all hanging off Romeo. A few guys that look to be around my age are in the pool, and a couple standing next to the Barbecue that’s built into its own area off to the side of the patio. My father would flip out if he could see it. The lady I’m presuming is Rayne’s mother, walks up to us as we’re walking out. "Hello you must be Isabella. Rayne has told me all about you.”

"Tiny Dancer, this is my mum Audrey Bennett."

"I’m so excited to meet you, Rayne has never brought a girl home before."

  "I’m excited to be here."

"Come meet my husband, James." Audrey says, interlocking our arms as we walk toward the barbeque. Out of the corner of my eye I see Morris and Sam turn up.

It’s really strange to see Rayne here. You wouldn't think this is where he grew up. He doesn't look like he fits in here, not that anyone seems snobbish, and they just look like they’re from my world and not Rayne’s.

“How does someone as ugly as yourself get a hot chick like her? I think she met the wrong brother first." I turn around and I’m shocked, his brother is almost identical to him except he doesn't have long hair; it’s short and spiked on top, and he has the same green eyes as Abigail.

"Wouldn’t you like to know? Maybe I just have more game than you, little brother."

"Nope, that’s definitely not it; now introduce me to your girl."

“Babe this is my younger and weaker brother, Boston.”

"He means younger and better looking brother. It’s very nice to meet you; please, tell me you have a sister or a good looking best friend."

"No siblings at all but my best friend is good looking - or so I’ve been told. He likes girls though, so I’m not sure you would be his type."

"Her best friend is Tommy, now leave us alone and go entertain Abigail’s friends so they’ll leave Romeo alone."

Watching everyone interact is nice, and I get to see a different side of Rayne. We all eat and swim as the day goes by and I have had an awesome time. Right up until a guy I have not seen yet today comes walking into the back yard. He doesn’t look like a friendly guy but he has dark eyes like Rayne’s, except his are spiked with pure evil. It gives me chills just looking at him and I see all the men stand and I can tell they’re not happy to see him at all. Rayne whispers for me to stay put and not to leave the backyard.

"It’s ok. I’ll deal with this," Rayne says to everyone as he walks toward the scary guy.

"Rayne, no. Please,” his mother says, hugging onto her husband, James. I look around confused, because I’m the only one who has no idea what’s going on here. Who’s that guy and why is everyone looking either upset or extremely angry? The big guy walks toward us, not bothered by the wall of bodies looking at him. His size makes him intimidating to look at. Not one person speaks or so much as blinks. All eyes are on his every move.

Out of everyone, he walks right up to me, looking me up and down. He grins and I’m instantly repulsed. I get a feeling in the bottom of my gut that says this guy isn’t someone you want to be on the bad side of. Rayne steps between us, "Let’s go, brother."

  "Can we bring the girl?"

  "No," Rayne seethes.

"She your girl?" Just as I’m about to say I am, Romeo comes up behind me and puts his arms around my waist and makes it look like he’s kissing my neck, except he whispers in my ear to play along for Rayne’s sake. I look at Rayne and see his eyes turn dark and I don’t like Rayne when he gets like this. He turns his attention from me and Romeo back to the big guy, "No, she’s Romeo’s girl,” Rayne tells him.

"Awe, the pretty boy has a girlfriend. It’s a shame brother, we could’ve had some fun with her" he says leering at me.

"Nah brother. That one’s a virgin and we don’t fuck virgins - too much emotional shit for us." Rayne says. I can’t believe Rayne has just said that! I feel like he’s just kicked me in the stomach and all the air has left my body. Now, not only does everyone now know that I’m a virgin and that Rayne isn’t getting any, but to publicly betray me I’m beyond embarrassed and hurt. Romeo keeps repeating, "He doesn’t mean it. Just keep playing along."

The big guy just laughs and walks away with Rayne. Once they’re out of sight, I push Romeo off me and I run inside, up the stairs and into a bathroom. Who is that guy and why did Rayne say we don’t fuck virgins? I knew there was something dark inside Rayne and now I have a feeling that guy is somehow involved. I’m pretty sure I’m hyperventilating as I slide down the wall until I’m sitting on the floor. I try to slow my erratic breathing and calm down, when I hear a knock at the door. "Come
in."

Its Romeo, Dex, Morris and Sam they all come in and sit on the floor with me, except Sam she comes and sits next to me and wraps her arms around me and I cry. Morris explains the big guy is Rayne’s oldest brother, Bobby or Razor as most people call him. Apparently they have the same father and they don’t know much about what happened before they met Rayne, but they know Rayne hates him and their father. They also tell me to ignore what he said before he left because if he knew I was Rayne’s girlfriend, he would have made a point of wanting me or sharing me, which makes me sick. How could Rayne ever be involved with someone like that? Apparently, Razor and his friends are bad news. They deal in anything illegal that makes them quick cash from selling guns to stealing cars and drugs.

When I’ve finally stopped crying, we go back downstairs. I feel embarrassed until Rayne’s mum comes and hugs me for a lot longer than I’m comfortable with. I thank her for having me in her house and she welcomes me back anytime. I figure everyone can go home with Morris and Sam. Romeo comes running out yelling at me to wait up, "Shit, you're speedy for a tiny chick."

"What’s up, Romeo? I’m just going home. If Rayne comes back, let him know I left, will you?"

"That’s what I want to say. Rayne called and said you're not answering his calls."

"Oh, I left my phone in the car."

"He wants you to go meet him."

  "Why?"

"I’m not sure. He said he texted you the address and its close by." We say our goodbyes and I find the address Rayne texted me. When I pull up, it looks like an old, abandoned warehouse. I park next to a motorbike and hope that it’s how Rayne got here. I get out and take my phone because it’s starting to get dark and being surrounded by old creepy buildings is scary. I see a light coming from the building and walk towards it. This is definitely the scene in the movie where the naive girl walks into an abandoned building and the killer is waiting inside. Now I’m just scaring myself. I see a note taped to the door.

PLEASE FORGIVE ME. FOREVER AND ALWAYS

Sliding the big wooden door open what I see instantly makes me want to cry. This has to be the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. There are fairy lights hanging from the ceiling, candles lit on the floor, and not just a couple. It looks like hundreds of rose petals in a path that leads to a big bed of cushions and blankets on the floor with a bouquet of roses lying on top. I can’t see Rayne anywhere, but I close the door and walk over to the blankets when I hear his guitar. I turn around and see him walking through the candles and the light reflects off his body in all the right places. He’s wearing jeans torn at the knees, a white, long-sleeved button up shirt. This moment is perfect; it’s more than I could have dreamed of anyone doing for me. It’s like a fairytale come true and Prince Charming has shown up to rescue me. He may not be everyone’s type of Prince, but he is mine and I’ll take him any way he comes.

As he walks he continues to sing, never losing eye contact with me. I cannot believe he’s done all this just for me. I sit and listen to the words he’s singing and recognize the song as, I’m Yours. I used to love that song when Jason Mraz sang it, but now I love it even more now because no one can sing like Rayne. His voice is unique and melts me every time. He sits next to me and puts his guitar to the side, then leans in and kisses me. I nervously kiss him back because I know this is it―the day we have sex and I’m petrified and excited. He gradually deepens the kiss and it’s so passionate, loving and I can tell he’s doing everything trying to make this special for me. I know I’ll remember this night for the rest of my life. He pulls away from the kiss, my lips instantly crave his and I want more; no - I need more. Rayne lifts my shirt over my head and carefully puts it next to us, then does the same with my bikini top. I help him to slide off my shorts and bikini bottoms at the same time and now I’m lying on all these beautiful pillows and blankets that feel like soft clouds under my skin. Rayne stands and lifts off his shirt and I’m turned on at the sight of his skin.

"Fuck, you're so beautiful, Tiny Dancer." He makes me blush while he stares at my body then he sits down next to me and runs his hands down my neck and over my breasts. It feels so good and I let out an almost silent moan as I arch my back. His hand slides down my stomach and then his fingers gently slide over my clit. "Are you sure you're ready, because we can wait if you're not sure."

"Mm mm" is all I manage to say.

"You need to say it or I won’t go any further than this," he says as he spreads my legs apart, lowering his face between them and begins to suck on my clit while he adds two fingers inside me and massages my g-spot.

"I’m ready Rayne. Please make love to me."

"Soon, I need to make sure you’re ready first." Ready he certainly makes me and he doesn't stop until he has me begging for more. As my first orgasm is about to hit its peak he stands up and drops his jeans to the ground. His dick is already so hard you can see the veins pulsating as he rolls on the condom. "If it hurts too much and you want me to stop or slow down, please tell me and I will" he reassures me.

I can only nod at this point and he lowers himself and puts the head of his dick against my clit, circling it a few times. Once he’s about to enter me I take a deep breath and he tells me how much he loves me, then he slowly pushes himself in a little and waits for my reaction. I feel the pressure, but it’s not bad. I tell him I’m ok and with one thrust, he fills me completely. It hurts a lot, enough to bring tears to my eyes. He kisses my tears away and then gently starts to move, "You're so tight. This won’t last long." I love Rayne but I’m relieved. He just said it won’t last long, I assume he means because it’s painful, but the more he moves in and out, I start to understand why people enjoy it. I can feel the pleasure behind the pain. I begin to feel more pleasure and start to relax and enjoy it. Automatically I find myself matching his thrusts, lifting myself up to meet him halfway. I feel him going deeper and then he thrusts in a few more times before his body goes rigid. "Fuck that feels good," he says as his body goes limp on top of me.

"Are you ok?" he asks, pushing himself up and pulling me into his arms.

"I think so" I say, leaning into him. "Thank you for making this so special, I’ll never forget this night."

"I’m glad you liked it. I’m so sorry about today." I don’t push for any information about what went on.

Not wanting to ruin this moment, but I did have one question. "Whose motorbike is outside?"

"It’s mine, I had left it at my mums and Boston fixed it up for me. I took it today when I left." I think I just melted a little bit more because my Prince fucking Charming rode up on a motorbike and leather jacket.

  CHAPTER TWELVE

I don't know why I waited so long to lose my virginity because sex is awesome. Maybe it’s just like this because it’s with Rayne; but either way, I’m glad it was him who I lost mine to. The first few times really did hurt like hell. Maybe I was just in some fantasy world, like in the books I read, where the virgins are all having multiple orgasms, but when you're in that much pain, you know it’s a big fat lie. Now after a few weeks it’s no problem reaching an orgasm.

"Tiny Dancer, how does one person own so much shit?"

"Just put it in the garage and I’ll sort it out later,” I say. I’ve been excited all week because today, I officially move in with Rayne. I tried to stay at my father’s more often but I would just wake up with Rayne in my bed, until out of the blue he asked me to move in with him. He said it would make more sense if we both lived under the same roof. He didn't have a very strong argument, but I’ve never done anything spontaneous in my life and decided I would just do it. You only live once and I love him and I want to be with him forever. We still fight a lot, but now the make-up sex makes the fights almost worth it. When things are great between us they are really great, but the bad times are just bad. There seems to be no middle ground for us yet but I can’t not be with him as every time we are apart, it’s like a part of me is missing.

My father wasn’t happy when I told him I
was moving in and neither was Tommy, but I made them both promise to make an effort and I convinced them to come to my house warming party everyone is calling the “Tiny Dancer moving in party.”

Once everything is moved in, I get started on getting everything ready for the party. Rayne went and bought a barbeque to try to impress my father. It’s been very entertaining for the last half hour, watching four guys try to build a barbeque without instructions. Sam and I have tried to mention if they just looked at the instructions, it would make it a lot easier, but they just tell us to go do the girly stuff and to leave them to the manly jobs. The guys have gone all out with the food; chops, sausages, meat patties, seafood, chicken and beef kebabs. They ordered in a few salads and some hot dishes as well. I’m not sure how many people are coming, but there’s enough food to feed a small country. Once everything is set up, I go back outside to see if the barbeque is put together yet and to my shock, it’s all done and the guys are all standing around it, drinking and chatting.

"Look, it’s all put together. We even had a few spare bits left over," Rayne shows me and the other three guy’s just laugh.

"Rayne, I don’t think you should have left over parts."

"Well we did and look, it works beautifully,” he says as he kisses the side of my head.

A few people start turning up, including Clawzilla and her friend. Apparently, Romeo invited them because he needs to get laid. Paulie’s here as well and a few people I don’t know. I hear the doorbell ring but I see Dex has it covered. I get another Jack out of the esky when I see my father, Tommy and Natalie walk through the door. While my father looks like he’s really not happy to be here, that is until he spots me outside and forces a smile onto his face, it’s forced but it’s better than nothing. "Hey, Dad!" I shout out to him. They meet us out back and Rayne offers my father a beer.
