The Bachelor Duke (The Bachelor Series Book 1) Page 25

“I didn’t know your member would be so large,” she said wide-eyed.

  Remington plundered her mouth hungrily.

As he lifted her, she wrapped her legs around his bare waist. “You’re going to be the death of me,” he growled against her lips as he laid her on the bed.

He explored her, familiarizing himself with every curve and dip of her delicious body. Remington slowly trailed kisses from her jaw to her ear. “Did you enjoy what I did to you in Essex, my duchess?”

Her back arched as his finger and thumb massaged a pert nipple as he peppered sensual kisses down her neck.

“Y-yes,” she said with a breathy sigh, her head tilting to the side as he replaced his fingers with his warm mouth.

He lavished her full bosom with attention, nipping on the sensitive flesh, before soothing it with his tongue. His mouth trailed fire-hot kisses to her other breast, lavishing and praising it with attention.

Nimble fingers trailed down her tummy to the triangle of blonde curls at her sex. Her body shook with desire when he placed two fingers inside her.

“You’re so wet and ready for me, my duchess,” he whispered against her skin, his lips trailing a path down to her sex.

“Oh!” she cried out, when he reached her sex.

His mouth was slow and steady, licking a path to her bundle of nerves. He teased it continuously as he savored the taste of his wife’s sweet nectar. Livie’s fingers intertwined in his hair, guiding him where she wanted him.

He loved how sure and passionate she was. Livie knew what she wanted, and he wanted to give it to her—always.

“Remington, please …” she begged, her body practically bowing in half.

He continued to lavish the sensitive nub, a primitive growl escaping him as he lifted her bottom. He devoured her as if she was his last meal, the sounds of her pleasure spurred him on. He desperately wanted to bring his wife to completion.

“Yes, yes, yes!” she cried, coming nearly off the bed, pulling his hair.

Kissing her thighs, he crawled up her body. Their lips battled, hungry and needy, as he lined himself up to her wet heat.

Remington wrapped his arms around her, entering her slowly. Livie gripped his shoulders tightly, her eyes closed as her head pressed against his. Her body was tense at first. Slowly, she relaxed as Remington worshipped her with his hands and languid kisses. He took her mouth in a slow, steady dance, trying to allow her body time to adjust to him.

She was tight and warm, nearly causing him to come undone at the feel of her surrounding him.

  It was simply heaven.

Remington guided her slowly, one hand on her waist, the other lovingly caressing her body. She opened to him, finally relaxing to the intrusion as he began moving slowly.

He trailed his fingers through her hair, his hand molding her scalp. She lifted her hips, causing him to groan in ecstasy. “That’s it, darling, feel me.”

She arched her back, tilting her head back. Long silky tresses were flowed out over the white pillows. Remington sat up, frantic for more, but not wanting to hurt her. Her breasts were on display, and he massaged the heavy flesh with one of his hands.

His hand traveled from her breast to her stomach, down to the triangle of curls at her sex.

Below him, Livie swirled and rocked against him, finding a rhythm that threatened to send him over the edge.

“Ahh!” she cried out, reaching for him.

Remington bent down, taking her mouth hungrily. “Wrap your arms and legs around me, Livie,” he whispered against her lips.

Remington lifted her off the bed, taking her by surprise.

“Oh!” Livie called out as he held her weight in his arms. He moved her on top of him.

Remington looked up at her, giving her a smirk. “I won’t allow you to fall.” He pulled her bottom lip into his mouth, sucking slowly.

He began guiding her movements, his grip on her backside firm. Unable to hold back anymore, Remington moved her faster against him.

“Livie …” he groaned, feeling the precipice of ecstasy approaching.

“Oh, God!” Her body stiffened, just as Remington squeezed her to him, pumping up into her with a furious need.

Their world shattered together as they clung to each other, gasping for air. They kissed hungrily while Remington laid her gently on the bed, his lips worshipping every inch of her.

He laid down pulling her body nearly on top of his. “Is it always like this?” she inquired before kissing his chest.

His hands slid down her back, taking hold of her behind. He squeezed, causing her to moan. “It will be, if I can help it.”

She gave him a lazy smile, her eyes drooping closed. “Am I yours now?”

He kissed the tip of her nose. “Yes … always.”

  Another Season!

Will Lady J finally find a match after her canceled wedding to the Marquess of H? Or will this season be just as disappointing as the others. The Duke and Duchess of K have a new addition to their family, at this rate they will populate all of London.

  Talbert Abbey

  Three years later

Every year, Livie and Remington spent time at Talbert Abbey enjoying the sea breeze. Their three children, Emily, Theodore, and Frederick loved the small home as much as the large estate in Norwich.

Livie had discovered she was with child not long after they settled at Hemsworth Place. Their eldest son, Theodore, was born the following year. Their second son, Frederick, was born nearly two months ago, which was a shock since Theodore was barely on the earth a year when she discovered she was with child again. Emily lived with them most of the year much to their delight.

Livie walked into the breakfast parlor to find her husband, cousin, and the children at the table. She insisted Remington enjoy breakfast, as she had to feed a hungry Frederick.

“Good morning, Lady Julia,” Livie said cheerily to her cousin.

“I don’t find anything particularly good about it, Livie. I’m in for another season of whispers and ridicule. I don’t see why I can’t stay here or even Hemsworth Place or Hill Manor alone. I hate the Season. I don’t want to get married,” she said in one angry breath.

“Aunt Livie!” three-year-old Emily yelled, never knowing when to use her inside voice. Her light blonde hair was long and flowing on top of her tiny head.

Both Theodore and Emily ran to Livie, and she smiled at the two of them.

“Up, Mama!” Theodore called out in a loud voice, trying to get his mother’s attention.

“Theodore, we do not yell at Mama,” Remington warned his son patiently.

The toddler was thoroughly chastised and turned watery gray eyes to his father.

Remington picked him up, running his hand through his blond hair. “It’s okay. You must use your manners. Try, Up, please, Mama,” he instructed his son calmly.

“I have manners, Teddy,” Emily said cheerily from her small seat beside Julia.

“Up, please, Mama,” Teddy said, reaching for Livie, who took him from her husband, kissing his curly head.

“Very good, my darling,” she instructed, smiling proudly at him.

Remington took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. He was such a kind and wonderful father like she knew he would be.

The butler entered, carrying the mail. He set the tray down between Remington and Livie. Remington picked up the mail.

Opening a letter, he read intently, unable to hide the shock on his face. “What is it?” Livie asked, noticing the change in her husband’s demeanor.

He cleared his throat several times, looking over at Julia uncomfortably.

“I know it’s from him. You do not have to pretend he doesn’t write to you. At least he cares enough for you to give you some sort of explanation.” Julia took a sip of her tea.

“Very well.” Remington began looking from his wife to Julia. “Heartford is returning to England. Apparently, he feels that he is missing the children’s lives and wants to spend more time
with Emily as well as Teddy and Frederick.”

“Goodness, did he say when he was returning?” Livie eyed her cousin for any signs of discomfort.

“He should be in London in a matter of weeks.” Remington cleared his throat setting the letter down on the table.

The words hung in the air. Emily and Theodore continued their happy chatter oblivious to the adults.

“That’s simply wonderful. I’m sure the gossips will just love that.” Julia’s shoulders were stiff as she avoided eye contact with Livie and Remington. “Thank you for telling me, but Lord Heartford means nothing to me.” She continued eating, the subject closed.

Once breakfast was done, Lucy, the children’s nanny, took them all out for some fresh air, while Livie and Remington found their way to the library. Playing chess had become one of their favorite things to share.

Livie sat down on the opposite side of her husband. Remington had a smug grin on his face as if he’d finally beaten her. She had been defeating him since they first played together on their wedding trip. In the three years that they’d been married, he hadn’t beaten her once.

“Are you feeling victorious today?” She raised an eyebrow at him.

The sound of the children squealing in delight caught Livie’s attention, and she looked out the window to find Teddy and Emily running circles around each other as Lucy held Frederick in her arms.

“I believe I’ve finally won one,” Remington said, taking her out of her thoughts. She turned to look at her husband. There was a smug look on his handsome face, his dark hair falling over his eyes. Teddy looked so much like him, but with his mother’s blonde hair. “Check.”

She inspected the chessboard, noticing where her husband had moved his bishop, putting it officially in check to capture her white king. Livie let out a contemplative sigh, her gaze never leaving the board. She could feel his eyes on her, waiting excitedly for her move.

Livie moved her king, officially getting it out of check, and causing her husband to utter an animalistic sound.

She had discovered over the years that he was a terrible loser.

Remington ran his hands through his hair as Livie waited patiently. She stood, went over to him and sat on his lap. He wrapped his arms absentmindedly around her waist, never taking his eyes off the board.

“Do you need a moment, Your Grace,” she teased him, trying to control her laughter.

He squeezed her side, making her laugh as she pressed her head against his. “Don’t be cute, you minx.” He kissed her lips, a smile on his face. “I will beat you, one day, Livie.”

She gave his lips a gentle peck. “Perhaps you will one day. After all, society said you would never marry and look at you now.” She gazed into his blue eyes that had captured her from the beginning.

“Yes. Look at me now. Happily married, getting beaten by my wife at chess.” His hand traveled up her back, taking hold of her neck.

“The point is, never say never. If the Bachelor Duke can marry, surely you can best me at chess.”

His lips ghosted over hers, his eyes twinkling. “Perhaps one day, I will.”
