“We need to get home,” Gar said after that. “My home.”

  “Can you?”

“I think so, but it will be hard on this ship, they don’t use screens for navigation, it’s all in their heads. It’s going to be a long trip, and I won’t know if I’m going the right way or not.”

Sarah didn’t know what to say. She thought their problems were over, but maybe they were just beginning.

“I’ll keep you safe,” he said to her then, and kissed her. “I promise you that.”

And somehow, right at that moment, that was enough for the girl from Earth, so many millions of lightyears away from her home.

  END

The second chapter of the Sensual Abduction story has come and gone, but you don't have to leave the tantalizing world of alien romance just yet. Look for Aeon War, where Sarah finds new ways to love, even as her hope of returning to Earth begins to diminish. Here is the link of the next book in the series.

About The First Book: Aeon Captive

When Sarah is abducted by aliens, she never imagines she’ll meet the love of her life in outer space.

Sarah is a young woman adrift: she’s recently left school, she lives back home with her geologist father, and she’s avoiding her recently deceased best friend’s mother without really knowing why. When a crystal her father gave her begins to glow and make sounds, Sarah’s world is turned upside down. The crystal is a beacon, and aliens are here to take her away from her home. Far away.

Aboard the alien ship Sarah meets a telepathic alien she names Henry. They share their stories and begin to fall for one another. Though, perhaps Henry isn’t what he seems. That’s what Gar, an alien whose species is at war with Henry’s tells Sarah when he saves her. But Henry isn’t letting his new captive go without a fight, and Sarah and Gar find themselves marooned on a strange planet and on the run.

Which alien is telling the young woman the truth? And how does the old crystal her father gave her tie into an alien war? And which alien will Sarah choose when the time comes? And most importantly, what shocking surprise awaits her on an alien planet light years away from Earth?

  Chapter One – The Taken

Baston put his clothes in his locker and straightened his uniform. He hoped the night would go by quickly and that he would be able to get home in time for a nap. He was going to have the day off, and all he could think about was sleeping. He’d worked for ten straight nights, and the last few had been busier than usual. He walked outside and into the transport center. When the ships came in, he opened a door for them to load up on the dock. He always wondered what would happen if the door that kept the pressure maintained broke and he was sucked out into space. He didn’t want to be drawn out into space, but for some reason, he always thought about these things.

The cover on the transport hangar was glass, so it allowed him to look up and see the stars while he worked. It was one of the only perks of the job. They certainly didn’t provide that many benefits, and the commute alone took much time out of his day.

The sound of moon crickets was the only noise out in the middle of the night. Those who were lucky enough to work at that ungodly time were the only ones who got the pleasure of hearing them. Baston stood outside on the loading dock and looked up at the stars. One day, he hoped to find a job where all he would do was fly through the sky. As a youth, he’d enjoyed taking the controls of his dad’s ship when his mother wasn’t watching them closely, and imagining he was a great space captain. His father had always encouraged his dreams. His mother had always worried.

The two moons of Sarta were almost in line with one another. It made the one in front look three-dimensional. The small loading dock only gave him enough room to stand next to the ships when they came in. Only one man could fit for the initial unloading. Then, once the pods were dragged onto the main loading area, the rest could help. The unloading process of the cargo was often unpredictable, so it was procedure to have lots of men ready.

“Incoming, Baston.” His best friend and co-worker, Sca, ran up to him, pointing at the ship. Sca was the ladies’ man between the two of them. He had a large scar on his cheek from a bar fight, that women fell in love with. He was also half Lingonian, and his race had a reputation for knowing how to handle a woman’s pleasure. Any time they went somewhere, he accidently-on-purpose let his heritage slip. It was a convenient habit and had the women eating out of his hands.

The two of them worked for a loading company that dealt mostly with human cargo. Titon Universal brought girls in by the shiploads to work for them. Sometimes they came willingly, sometimes they were sold by their families. The willing ones were mostly gold diggers hoping to strike it rich by seducing their masters. From what he’d seen walking around downtown Menopoly, the town he lived in on Sarta, it worked for them more often than not.

All of the girls came from Earth because they had a trade embargo with Sarta. It was one of five. Earth had trade deals with their planet because their own had become overpopulated. In order to preserve their planet, they’d struck a deal. Sarta was rumored throughout the galaxy to be the planet you wanted to work for if you had to go into servitude, because they treated the servants the best. Other planets didn’t have these kind of trade deals. You wouldn’t catch a Lingonian woman, for example, working for anyone but herself.

“I see them,” Baston replied, tearing his eyes away from the moon to look at the small cargo ship pulling a very large transport pod. There would be about twenty women inside with whatever they were allowed to bring. He braided his long hair away from his face. In some cases, the women in transport fought during offloading. When they did, they weren’t above pulling hair. It hurt like hell and he wasn’t about to give them the upper hand. He tugged at it to make sure it was secure.

Baston directed the ship in as it backed the cargo pod up onto the loading dock. He went around to the driver to give him a ticket for the transport.

“Got a couple feisty ones in this load,” the driver said with a large grin. He was missing one of his front teeth, which made him look a bit silly.

“We’ll keep that in mind,” Baston replied with a curt nod.

The way the system worked, they inspected the cargo and the companies were paid later when they sent in their tickets. Occasionally, he had to argue with someone new to it all, but most of the time, the transporters were un
derstanding. Baston tore off the ticket and took some information from the driver.

Once he was done, he unhitched the pod and let the driver take off before moving it. Titon Universal owned the pods the transporters used. It made it easy for the transporters to get a new pod from one of their locations to bring the next round of cargo. Pulling the pod back slowly on the conveyor belt meant to help him, he turned it around so the men could unload.

He heard Sca opening the heavy metal door of the pod to look inside. He saw another ship approaching in the distance and made a mental note to check the log once this one was complete. They shouldn’t have another cargo ship in for at least a few more hours. He wondered if they were early.

“Where are all the men?” Baston asked, looking for the rest of the workers.

  “Lunch break?” Sca said.

“It’s 1 AM, Sca,” Baston answered.

“Dinner break, then. I’ll grab, you scan,” Sca said with an eyebrow wiggle. He was always willing to do the dirty work, meaning grab up the women so they could be checked in.

  The Blue Falls Series

  Prologue

The war was coming, and all Stefan could do was prepare his people. After so many decades of peace, it was inevitable. His brother had certainly sped things along marrying a human. Harold had been a good man, and he had his heart in the right place when he’d married Lily, but now the traitorous girl had run away with the enemy. The only hope he had of stopping the impending battle was to get Lily back and figure out who was responsible.

He walked along the long Oriental rug in his brother’s office. No, it was his office now, wasn’t it? It was difficult to imagine why Harold had left him in charge. He would need to grieve once he’d settled everything and put a plan into action. For now, he had to suck it up and deal with things. He’d heard rumors of a possible unrest amongst the people and that there might be an uprising if certain rules weren’t altered. Still, he couldn’t imagine that would lead them to kill their leader. It had to be the work of an external party, though one with intimate knowledge of what went on behind these closed doors.

Then there was Lily. She was a once in a lifetime type of girl. For the first year, he’d been insanely jealous of his brother. She was beautiful, sweet, and though her situation wasn’t ideal, she had made the best of it. Once he got to know her, he started to accept they would only be great friends and enjoyed her company.

What kind of woman ran away with the man who’d killed her husband? It didn’t seem like she cared at all and he’d really liked Lily. It just didn’t seem like something the girl he knew would do. Could she have been pretending the whole time? Unable to fathom it, he decided it was important to give her the benefit of the doubt. At twenty-four he was going to be a young ruler, and jumping to conclusions wouldn’t help his people keep faith in him. If he made sure to cover every angle and get them the truth, they’d respect him. He addressed the advisor and a small group of the guards that protected the alpha and their people.

“Men, we have to go after her. It won’t do to let the people know we simply let her run off whether she is responsible for Harold’s death, or not.” He straightened to his full height and put on what he hoped was an authoritative voice.

“If I might say, sir, I think she’s guilty and should be thrown in the jail along with her co-conspirator.” The head guard was twice as tall as Stefan and clearly had a negative outlook on the recent events. Clinton was ready to wage war at all times. Stefan thought perhaps he slept in his uniform.

“Throw away the key for good measure,” Clinton added disdainfully.

“I think we should allow Lily the chance to explain herself. After all, she is to be my wife now that my brother is dead.” The thought excited and terrified him. He wasn’t sure Lily would be willing to taking her place by his side. Even if it was written, as the alpha now he should be able to marry, or not marry, whoever he pleased. He would be content with her. It would be a dream come true, but unlike Harold, Stefan wanted the woman he married to love him in return.

“You’d marry the woman who killed our leader?” Clinton was clutching his chest like the very thought stole his breath. “Your brother?”

“If she killed my brother, my last thought would be to marry her. We will bring her back here, and we’ll give her the chance to defend her actions.” Stefan loved Lily in a brotherly way, but he wouldn’t deny she was beautiful. The fact she was to be his wife in the event of his brother’s death didn’t vex him in the least. That was of course if she wanted to be his wife. The last thing he wanted to do was force it.

Clinton left the room clearly not happy with the options Stefan had given him. He couldn’t go to war over this, not with a much stronger Alornian army. The Slamarion and Alornian clans were named from the places they came from. Years before they’d gone underground to hide from the humans. In the old country, they’d been bitter enemies although history never accounted for why. Once they’d moved, and as the years progressed, they’d struck a deal of peace. Slamarions weren’t known for their fighting style, and Stefan worried his army would be led to slaughter.

His army could very well be overrun by the Alornians who spent their whole life training for battle, whereas his did not. It was their custom, even though a supernatural war hadn’t been waged for decades. Then there was the matter of his enchanting sister-n-law. Stefan didn’t really believe her capable of such a heinous act. As far as he could tell, while she hadn’t truly loved Harold, they had gotten along quite well. Of course, women had fooled his brother in the past.

“Gather four or five men, we’ll set out in search of her. Take two with you and start looking. I shall follow shortly.”

  “Yes, sir.”

“Oh, sweet Lily, what have you done?” Stefan muttered to himself as he looked out the window over the small town which he now ruled and the dense forest beyond.
