Instead, he grasped her shoulders, turned her carefully and backed her up towards the bed. She was gently lowered to sit on it. He urged her shoulders back so that she was lying back, feet still on the floor. His hands stroked the inside of her thighs. She could sense that he was now kneeling on the floor between her outstretched legs.

“Ahhh” A moan escaped as the hot wetness of his tongue touched her clit. Her hips rolled from side to side and upward seeking more of his mouth. Her heart thundered in her ears as she panted and moaned. She raised her legs from the floor, and placed them on his shoulders as his mouth and tongue drove her crazy with lust.

At times his tongue was a soft pillow, other times a firm probe. Her hips rolled and thrusted in sync with the rhythm of his mouth as she ascended higher and higher.

Just as she reached the pinnacle, just as she tottered at the top, there was fullness as he slid two fingers within her.

And she leapt off, falling and falling through clouds of ecstasy.

To be again caught by Craig.

  ***

They cuddled together on Craig’s bed. She had never felt as sexy, as desired as he made her feel. He had caused her to orgasm with raw passion, clutching at him with a ferocity she hadn’t known before. And now they lay quietly entwined together.

He was stroking her hair. “I’d like to take you to the club I mentioned the night we met. It’s called Paradox’s. It’ll blow your hair back. You’ll see all kinds of sexual flavors. Their monthly BDSM night is Friday. What do you think?”

“I’m not sure I’m ready. I WOULD like to see it. But do I have to do anything with other people? I know I can’t do that.” She propped herself up onto her elbow and looked into his eyes. She wanted to read him Was he serous? A sex club?

“No, it’s not like that. Well it can be… but only if you want that. You would be with me and believe me, I‘m not sharing. They have a great dinner with live theatre. After that…people play. And for your first time there, I think we’ll just watch.”

“Well, maybe. As long as I don’t have to do anything. But what if I run into someone I know! I’d die.”

“It’s very discreet. They offer masks at the door if you’re worried about that. And if you see anyone you know…well they’re there too, aren’t they.”

“Good point. Are you hungry? I don’t know what’s with me but I’m starving again.” Her stomach was grumbling.

“I’m not surprised. This takes a lot outta’ you. Let’s get up and I’ll rustle up some grub. How’s spaghetti sound?” He got to his feet.

Without asking, he went to his closet and got his robe for her. She smiled and slipped it on. She actually had brought a robe but preferred wearing his. She turned her nose into the collar and smelled it as she followed him down the stairs. Mmmm, his scent. Spicy and fresh. I have to find out what cologne that is.

“Okay, so tell me more about Paradox’s.” She followed him into the kitchen.

“Wait. Let me get my laptop and I’ll open their website.” He headed down the stairs to his den.

In a couple of minutes he returned and set it on the table in front of her. He booted it up and hit a button on his favorites bar.

She watched the profile of his face, his concentration, as he worked the laptop. So handsome. I just want to kiss him.

He typed quickly and the screen changed, opening the website. He turned it slightly, so that it faced her. She read the introductory blurb, its history, the number of members, calendar of events, and then skipped through pictures of the rooms, the bar, and dinner theatre. Halloween of the previous year. She clicked it. Her eyes widened as she saw pictures of people in masks and costumes…well hints of costumes as they weren’t wearing much clothing.

“So did you go to that Halloween party? I’m looking for your pic. Were you the gladiator or Merlin the Magician?”

“Neither. I didn’t go that night. Although I like the gladiator idea. It’d show off my shapely legs.” He chuckled as he set the stove to boil the water for pasta.

“I wouldn’t mind seeing those shapely legs. You’ve seen me spread out starkers, and I’ve never even seen you with your shirt off.” She scowled at him before breaking once more into a smile. “Paradox’s looks pretty elegant. Not like I would have pictured at all. But then again, it was a mansion for some rich family. How often do you go?”

Her stomach sank, realizing he would have been there with other women, other subbies. Get a grip. Of course you aren’t the first woman he’s dated or done any of this with.

Craig was getting the spaghetti sauce from the refrigerator when she asked this question. “I probably go a few times a year. It’s special y’know. Kind of like a rich dessert. You can’t live on it but it’s a nice treat to have once in a while.”

Which probably means he goes once a month. She continued clicking on the website.

“If we go, and you aren’t comfortable, we leave. No questions asked. The uterus calls the shots.” He looked at her after popping the sauce into the microwave.

That’s good. The uterus is boss. She grinned. “But what do I wear? I don’t think a pencil skirt and lacy bra is going to cut it.”

With absolutely no hesitation he answered. “A black corset, thigh highs and four inch high heels.”

“Wow. I wish you’d be more specific- you didn't say what shoe color. That was fast. Do you happen to have a corset in your closet?” She rolled her eyes. He certainly knows what he wants.

“Again the Sam,” he muttered. “No. I just know what would look good on you. With that reddish hair, and fair complexion, black is a natural. And four inch heels makes any woman’s butt just pop.”

“It looks like I’m going shopping this week.”

“So you’ll go? I have to get the tickets and make a reservation. You’re sure?” He paused, turning slightly from the lettuce he was tearing, to look at her.

“I think so- yeah. I’ll go. And we can leave if it’s too much for me, right? You mean that, right?”

“All you'd have to do is say 'Red' or 'let's get outta here', and we're history. Honest.” Craig gave her the Boy Scout sign and crossed his heart for good measure.

Jessica grinned, “Well in that case, how can I refuse.” Her stomach clenched. A sex club? A SEX CLUB?? I can’t believe myself. WHO am I? Wow!

Craig dried his hands and walked over to where she was seated. He pulled her to her feet and wrapped his arms around her. “You’re a brave woman, do you know that? You’re willing to try new things even though you’re apprehensive as hell.”

  “That obvious, eh?”

  “Uhhh... yeah.”

“I was working on 'Cosmopolitan Sophisticate'- not so much, huh?”

“Not even close.” He gave her a squeeze and kissed her quickly on the lips. “Now I better feed you.”

He walked back to the counter and continued making the salad.

“Can I do anything to help you? I feel so lazy, sitting here while you slave over dinner.”

“Yeah. You can perch right there. I’m looking after you. Me Dom. You sub.”

Jessica resumed her scanning of the Paradox site, now picturing herself there. It’ll be okay. Craig will look after me. And it’s sure gonna be interesting. I’ll be okay, right?

He strained the pasta and prepared their plates. Jessica picked up the laptop and set it on a table in the living room. “At least let me set the table. I can mange that.” She re-entered the kitchen.

“Okay. The cutlery’s in that drawer, napkins in that cupboard and here’s the parmesan cheese. Let’s just eat in here, whadda ya say?”

“Sure.” It was comfortable and seemed so right to sit at the island instead of the dining room table.

  ***

After they ate and tidied up, they snuggled on the sofa. They had turned the television on to watch a movie, but it served more as background white noise. They couldn’t stop talking to each other.

She told Craig about growing up in Kingston, her pa
rents, school and university. They laughed as she relayed her dating nightmares. She told him about the people she worked with; about Brenda and her various dating conquests. When she mentioned that Brenda was meeting a stockbroker, he asked if she knew the name.

“I think she said Heath, or was it Seeton. I don’t know. Eddie. She said his name was Eddie. Why?”

“Oh no! I have buddy, Eddie Sleethe who’s a stockbroker. There can’t be two of them. I like him, but he’s a TOTAL womanizer.” He shook his head at the crazy coincidence.

“Well, he may have met his match. Lunch on Friday will be pretty interesting.”

“How about you Craig? You haven’t said much about growing up. What was that like for you?”

“Well my older sister Maureen and I were pretty much raised by my grandmother. We lived in a small, rustic community on the ocean. I even went to a one room school for awhile. The grades were separated by rows. There was a pot bellied stove at the back and the bigger guys had to bring in wood and take turns keeping it loaded up.”

  “A one room school?”

“It was a small community. Recess, we’d play Red Rover and a game with a stick that was kinda like baseball. We’d hit the stick with another bigger stick and it’d go flying out at a bunch of kids in the field. It’s a wonder no one lost an eye or teeth.

“I had a best friend, Hamish. We’d spend the summer riding our bikes, exploring in the woods, always up to something." He paused. "And then when Grammy passed away, it was Maureen and I till I went away to university." His mouth twitched, and his eyes got a faraway look.

What had happened to his parents? He hadn’t mentioned them, and it probably wouldn't be a happy tale; he'd talk about that when he was ready.

“So how did you end up in Toronto?” She asked, directing the conversation to safer ground.

“Hey, it’s where a lot of people from the east coast end up. I finished my undergrad and came to Toronto for my grad work. I liked it here, so stayed.”

“I’m glad you did,’ she murmured, snuggling closer to him.

It was almost eleven when they decided to go to bed.

  ***

After washing her face and brushing her teeth, she emerged from the bathroom to find Craig already in bed. Damn. He’s covered up. I was looking forward to HIS striptease. She slipped her robe off and hung it up on a door hook. She glanced at him, feeling his eyes boring into her as she walked to the bed and got under the covers.

She snuggled into the crook of his arm and they lay together intertwined closely. Smiling, she re-lived their afternoon together. Her hand played with his nipples and the hair on his chest, roaming lower. She could feel his arousal pressing against her thigh. Her fingertips softly drifted in that direction. His hand reached over to grasp hers, halting her progress.

What the hell? Why won’t he let me touch him? Is it this Dom sub thing? I’m not allowed? To hell with that!

“Craig, I want to.” She whispered.

“No. I’m fine. Just go to sleep, sweetie.’ He murmured.

“I’m worried about you. All this messing around…I know you were turned on. Please let me take care of you. Nurse Jessica is worried about your prostate. It’s not healthy.”

He relaxed his grasp on her hand, allowing it to continue its lascivious journey. He sighed when she touched him and massaged him gently.

She rose to kiss him, darting her tongue along his parted lips, her hand continuing to stroke him. He touched her neck as his breathing quickened. Her mouth left his lips, wandering lower to his throat and chest. She took his nipple into her mouth, nibbling it softly with her teeth. He breathed deeply, abandoning himself to the pleasure of the moment. She ran her tongue over his midriff, past his navel and then lower, until her warm mouth cradled him inside.

His hands stroked her hair as he gazed at her face, felt the warmth of her soft kisses, her mouth caressing him. His passion rose higher with her loving ministration and he ground repeatedly into her mouth. Her breathing was quick through extended nostrils. God, he was so big and tasted good. She could do this forever.

“Jessica…” Her name was a strangled cry as he arched back, thrusting into her, falling into the red abyss of ecstasy.

She inched her way back up his body ending at his lips. She kissed him deeply; his tongue welcomed hers as they shared the taste of his exquisite pleasure.

  ***

Jessica stretched her arms out, waking up, reaching for Craig. Where IS he? He’s always leaving me in here. She got up and found her way to the bathroom. A damp towel hung over the shower stall. What time was it and how long had he been up? There was a soft knock on the bathroom door.

“Hey Jessica! I was just gonna call you. Would you like breakfast in bed or would you prefer to shower first?”

“Good morning! How about I shower and we eat downstairs? But please, just toast and coffee.” She opened the door and threw her arms around his neck turning her face up to kiss him. “You’re spoiling me. I could get used to this, y’know.”

Craig kissed her softly and answered “You’re easy to take care of.” He reached into the closet and withdrew a fluffy towel. Draping it across her shoulders, he spun her around to face the bathroom.

“Take as long as you’d like and help yourself to anything you need. I’m off to prepare your breakfast.”

Jessica stepped into the shower humming softly. She shampooed her hair and using liquid soap, ran her hand over her body. Inhaling the fresh scent of the soap that seemed so…Craig - clean, crisp. She turned off the shower and stepped out. Hanging from a hook on the door was a soft white terry robe. A note was pinned to it. She unhooked the note and read:

O my Love is like a red, red rose

That pricks you with its thorn

Your Love cries out in pain and lust

Later, Come downstairs and eat first,

She laughed Who KNEW Robert Burns was into BDSM? Combing her hair with her fingers she pulled it into some semblance of order, slipped into her robe and went downstairs to join him.

On the kitchen table, coffee and two plates of eggs Benedict on toast were set out.

“Oh, you shouldn’t have gone to so much trouble. Wasn’t it my turn to cherish you? I mean after taking advantage of you last night? Yum! I’m getting some ideas for dessert….” She stepped close to him and kissed his cheek.

“You’re as obsessed with my body as I am with yours! Well, we have that in common. Sit down and eat Nympho.”

“Nympho! True I’ve had more of the big O’s than you.” She took a bite and thoughtfully chewed. Now how to get around to this delicately…hmmm.

“The eggs done the way you like them? What’s that far away look on your face? A foodgasm?” He grinned.

“It’s good and just the way I like it. Maybe a foodgasm. Actually, I was wondering about changing the sex up a bit, maybe a little afternoon delight? But, more conventional? Y’know, make like the missionaries?”

Craig took a sip of coffee, and was silent for a moment or two.

“I know what you’re getting at. This is going to sound odd coming from a man, I know. But I’m not ready for that.”

She was raising her cup to sip coffee and stopped in mid-air. Her jaw opened as she silently regarded him. What! He doesn’t want to have sex with me? Does he ever do conventional or is it just with me? I don’t turn him on unless it’s BDSM?

“Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE having sex. I don’t have some kind of weird hang-up or malfunction.”

“Then why can’t we?” She asked softly.

“Look, I kinda don’t understand this myself. Normally, I would have had you in bed the night we met.”

  “Not necessarily.” She answered.

“Well, it wouldn't have been for lack of trying on my part, let me tell you. And you were pretty turned on. But, right here, right now, I’m not ready for that with you.”

“I’m not bad in the sack you know. You don’t know what you’re missing.”

&n
bsp; “Oh yeah. You’re hot as hell and I’m looking forward to that with you. Just give me a little time. We’ll get there.”

“I really don’t get this at all. I think you’re just making it harder on both of us, for no good reason.” She set her cutlery down on her plate. Suddenly, her appetite was gone.

“Well maybe I’m feeling a little like you probably did when you first dated. A virgin with some hot ‘n horny guy pressing for more. And you weren’t ready. Well neither am I.”

“Now I’m some hot and horny chick PRESSING you?” She scowled at him.

“No, I didn’t mean it that way. You’re not some horny chick I could easily bang. You’re you. And that’s special to me. I need this to be special. Can’t you understand that?” His eyebrows drew together over eyes that were open wide.

“Oh I think I understand.” She rose to her feet and stomped up the stairs to the bedroom.

She dressed hurriedly, scooping her things up and shoving them into her bag. She bit her lower lip, resolving that she wouldn’t cry. At least not here. She found her handbag, took the cell phone from its pouch and rolled her eyes in exasperation.

“What’s your house number Craig?” She called down the stairs.

“What are you doing? Jessica please. Come down. Let’s talk.”

She threw the strap of her overnight bag over her shoulder, grabbed her purse and marched down the stairs. “I’m going home. I’m calling a cab and leaving. What’s the house number?”

Craig’s ire rose as well. He glared at her

  “Fifty-four.”

She punched the numbers on her cell phone of a large cab company and directed them to Craig’s house. She picked up her things, walked down the stairs to get her coat and left. The rain from yesterday was still falling, mingling with the tears that flowed from her eyes as she waited for the taxi.

  Chapter 10

When Jessica arrived home, she stormed up the stairs and slammed the door of her apartment. In the comfort of her home, tears once more flowed. I’ve never felt so humiliated. No man has ever rejected me. And for Craig to do that. Craig! What a fool I am.
